Fantastic experience: Mamoon was a great instructor who came recommended from a friend. I have tried different instructors and had previous lessons few years ago, but the time with Mamoon was by far the most enjoyable and informative. I managed to pass with only one minor and Mamoon was a big reason for this. Showed me several possible test routes during lessons and was overall very patience and understanding. Would highly recommend.

My Instructor is from Bordon and he is so kind, patient and friendly person. He gave me every single lesson from the depth of his knowledge. Negative experience: My experience with this driving company was not as good as what most of these reviews claim to imply. I already have my license and only wanted a few refresher sessions as I hadn’t driven in a good few years. To build my confidence and self esteem is all I wanted. I was only able to do weekends, I explained that to the man I spoke to when I was making my initial enquiry as I work full time and long hours. I was told a driving instructor that worked weekends especially Sundays would get in contact with me closer to the date I had booked. Nobody had got in contact with me until I called the company back to see what was going on. I finally had a message from an instructor called Mahmoon and I would say my first session with him was pretty good after not driving for a while. The second session was booked for a Friday as I finished work early but unfortunately he was stuck in traffic which I understand happens. But after sending multiple messages and dates to reschedule there was no response until I had to call the company to see what the problem was again. I was told he was busy and also the guy apologised and said “yes he should reply” because at the end of the day I need to know where I stand. We are ALL busy and have a life. If you cancel the least you could do is have respect to answer somebody or let them know you’re busy. Then finally I had a reply and we rescheduled and met. This was now my second session and to be honest it wasn’t like the first, I felt as though there was no understanding, I was told to “speed up like the car in front of me” considering I was on a road with oncoming cars and parked cars on the side I didn’t feel like I needed to go at such a pace. I told him “I’m in a learners car for a reason” and his response was “you already have your license” now let me get this straight I haven’t driven for 6 years, a lot happens in that time; you lose confidence and many things happen in life which you shouldn’t have to explain but from other reviews he seems to be a caring person???!. This made me feel uneasy half way into my session. At the end we agreed to meet the following Sunday and we’d figure out future dates the next time we meet because clearly he didn’t work on Sundays but why was I given a instructor that is inconsistent and unprofessional with replies and other peoples time. I was also asked if I could potentially meet him half way as the distance was too much for him to get to me. In which I replied why am I paying £80 for someone to not pick me up from my house. Another red flag. WHY NOT just be honest that you cannot accommodate to me and my needs. Fast forward on Tuesday he cancelled my lesson. He passed me onto a colleague that apparently would suit my needs and give me the exact time that he cancelled 9:30-11:30 again another incompetent confused man messaged to say he cannot do Sunday early the time I asked for originally. So what was the point of this ? Just passing me over to get rid of me. My experience was inconsistent, unreliable and unprofessional. You may know how to drive but you clearly don’t have communication skills.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test in just two weeks with Champs Driving School. My instructor, Moon, was incredibly patient with me, even though we had a short timeframe before my test.

Fantastic experience: It's not always easy to find a good reliable instructor but if you want someone patient, competent and friendly who will get you test ready, I highly recommend Mamoon. Fantastic experience: I learned driving with Mamoon. After three months of lessons I passed at the Modern Test Centre. This is my second attempt. I find Mamoon a very thorough instructor. He wouldn't let go of any bad habit of driving. His explanation is very clear. Sometimes, if I look unconvinced about something, he'd take me to a specific location and prove his point, so that I understand and adopt his technique. Although I feel I still need to practice a lot more, I've become a lot more confident after learning with him. Thank you Mamoon.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test at Morden test center at my first trial today. I highly recommend Mamoon as an instructor. I started my lessons with him from December. Ever since then I could see my progress each week. I previously had 30 hours already with an instructor from Wimbledon driving school before I found Mamoon and switched. I couldn’t do roundabout at all at that time, let alone some more complex scenarios such as turning right on a busy road etc. The previous instructor pretty much just asked me to drive around near test center. Mamoon on the other hand has a very structured way of teaching. Take round about for example, he would take me to each one of the roundabouts near the test centre and enter from different roads. We did nothing but roundabouts until I felt fully confident about entering and then we focused on lane discipline and exit. The lessons were focused and always had clear topics, showing that he had spent time thinking about my progress and what I needed to improve. With Mamoon, it’s like you’re really back at school again. You could feel that he really tries to teach and train you. Once he spotted that I’ve got a habit of cutting corners when turning right into a side road. He stopped me and took me back again and again through exactly that same crossing until I drove differently. I felt that with other instructors, they might just point it out but we would drive by. But with Mamoon, he wouldn’t let go or move on until I change my driving. That proved to be extremely helpful for the test, because to perform under pressure, sometime the most reliable thing is a good habit and your muscle memory. After a few mock tests, Mamoon told me that he thought I was ready. In our last lesson, he spoke to me about a video he watched and how an emotion only stays with you for 12 minutes if you let it go. He then said, for the test, it’s all about controlling your emotion and drive just like normally. That is what I think of him - someone who puts his heart into teaching and tries all the time to do his job right.
