Fantastic experience: My husband (experienced driver) had a great experience with Mr Mohsin, who assessed the driving practice in the first lesson and then planned and explained each manoeuvre that needed improvement with practice. He also was flexible with planning the driving classes and kept a key emphasis on major faults, with mock tests to assess and improve each time. Even I refreshed quite a few things during the 2hr lessons while sitting in the back seat. My husband had only 2 minors and 1 major in the 1st attempt at Tolworth test centre, and Mr Mohsin also helped connect us with another test taker to swap our later rebooked test date from January 2025 to November 2024 at the same place. Would definitely recommend any learner or experienced driver to reach out to Mr Mohsin for preparing for the driving test and getting a pass Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I had Mudasar as my instructor for about 30 hours. I had a great time learning from him. He gets to the point very quickly, so if you do something well, he compliments you and if you do something wrong, he will point it out to you in a well structured manner. He points out things precisely, so you are not overwhelmed by comments. Had a great learning experience.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience and learning. I came across this driving school through FB recommendations for driving instructor - Mudassar. Having failed earlier in Morden test after learning with my spouse, I was very low on confidence. Mudassar was an epitome of tips and tricks and has mastery in test routes. He quickly helped me with all the minor and major mistakes I committed in my mock tests. His approach and attention to detail was amazing which helped me gain my confidence and not only pass the test but learn to drive safely and with confidence for life. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!

Negative experience: To give this driving school even 1 star makes me feel sick. I would give it below 0 if I could. If I could get all of the money back I wasted, I would. I'm prone to panicking, & have some difficulties with processing certain instructions/directions/reading 'social cues' on the road - such as looking for a gap in a junction, joining the roundabout, joining the dual carriageway, etc. Let's make it clear that I AM ALWAYS TRYING MY ABSOLUTE BEST. I don't slack off when it comes to driving, & I know how important it is - this isn't a case of a 'nightmare student hating their instructor for being strict'. My first driving instructor, Junaid, was made extremely aware of my difficulties on our very first lesson. I told him explicitly that I have these difficulties. At first, he seemed kind enough & understood, claiming "people don't have patience" - but don't be fooled by him. He is by far, the most disgusting man I have ever met, & just saying his name has a trauma attached to it. God knows why this driving school hired him. He claimed he had 14 years of driving experience - only for me to hear from the second driving instructor it was only a few months. Now, either I've been lied to by Junaid (not very surprising, honestly), or he meant 14 years back in his home country, Pakistan. But that's the thing, the UK's rules are DIFFERENT. Let's move on to some of the things Junaid has done/said: - "I think there's something wrong up there (mentally) with you." - "Haha, the pedestrian doesn't trust you." - Raising his voice to literally scream/shout at me - Went to the bank 2 days in a row in the MIDDLE of our lessons - wasting my time, which I have paid for. - Spoke to me about his personal life & problems, distracting me from the road, & then proceeded to scream at me for it. - Was constantly on his phone & answering calls, not giving me proper instructions - Wasted almost 30mins of our lesson being on the phone with ANOTHER STUDENT & BOOKING THEIR LESSONS, while I was sat there waiting (as though he can't do this in his own free time, & not during working hours/when he's not in a lesson). - Asked him if i should turn right & pointed specifically to the area i was referring to, told me yes, then screamed at me for going there. Followed by "I'm nice with you, I don't shout or raise my voice." - like? Okay. You're absolutely lacking self-awareness, & no amount of apologies is a free pass to keep getting away with this. What hammered the nail in the coffin was him not giving me any help/instructions as I was visibly panicking & turning in a roundabout. Unmarked roundabouts/lane discipline are my biggest challenge. After I exited, he said "You haven't learned a damn thing." - he said this, not just once, but 3 times. He deliberately repeated himself to taunt me, to which I snapped, & he laughed with a disgusting gleam in his eyes. He then got angry at me for going nonverbal/shutting down, as I didn't want to talk to him/continue our future booked lessons. I called the School, to which I was given a second instructor, Azhar. I was very wary & cautious, telling him of my experience with Junaid, & my difficulties. He said "What the f*ck" at Junaid's teaching methods, which made me feel understood, & he claimed he'll "do his best" not to scream or shout at me, which was already a red flag. Of course this time was no different. He raised his voice, and after I accidentally took the 5th exit instead of the 4th, he looked at me and muttered "what the f*ck", swearing at me, thinking I didn't hear. This was enough for me to call him out, break down, come home, and write this review. If this doesn't convince you to not pick this driving school, I don’t honestly know what will. If you're someone who doesn't want to be bullied, degraded, disrespected, and belittled by the instructors on some weird power trip, then this school certainly isn't for you. 2 out of the 20+ instructors are like this, so imagine what you're risking by choosing this school. It's not worth it, giving them your money isn't worth it. Find somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Adda Ahmed for helping me pass my driving test on the first attempt. He really knows his stuff when it comes to highway code and what to expect in a driving test. He explained the concepts clearly and made sure I understood the proper maneuver. His experience was invaluable in preparing me for what to expect.

Fantastic experience: On Saturday, I passed my driving test! Yey ! First attempt and only one minor. Obviously, it looks amazing, but this is the result of hard work coming from me and my instructor Basil. He is very precise and he helps you to reach the best of your potential. He is also a very good person and you can see that he is truly happy to teach. Basil really likes his job and he welcome you smiling 99% of the time which makes all the learning process easier. There is a lot of learning time but with him you can also make some fun jokes and he is very careful to your needs. You can be sure that with Basil you will pass 1st attempt, because he really makes sure that you are ready. Thank you also to Mudasar which helped me to relax and learn how to make my life so much easier when I drive as I had with him the last 5 lessons before my test. He is also a great instructor. Fantastic experience: I had all my lessons with Basil. We did 40 hours of lessons together at Tolworth and Morden test centres. I passed my test first time at Morden in December 2022 when I couldn’t get a test at Tolworth. Basil was great at teaching me the concepts required to drive a manual car. He was able to point out my mistakes and help me get rid of them in a practical way. He also helped me practice multiple test routes as part of our later driving lessons which proved useful for the actual test. I highly recommend seeking out Basil from Connect Driving School. He won’t send you for a driving test until he believes you are ready.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Basil. When the time I booked my driving test, it was so difficult to find driving instructor. Everyone was fully booked. I needed to pass my test with manual car and I've been referred Basil by another driving instructor who was teaching automatic. He was very accommodating and accepted to have lessons with me although he was very busy. I had no experience driving in UK and little experience with manual cars (has driving automatic before). He helped me with my clutch control (which was terrible) and thought me UK driving rules. Assured me I can pass my exam if I wont panic, be calm and trust my driving skills. And I passed my exam. Thank you!

He was so pleasant, patient and knowledgeable about all things driving/cars/tips & tricks to park, etc. He is very professional and understanding. His light chats while driving keep session light and help on driving without pressure.He helped me understand the common mistakes, rules etiquettes and was very reasonable. Fantastic experience: Basil, at Connect Driving School is an excellent instructor and helped me pass the practical exam (manual) in the first attempt. He makes the lessons very interactive and does his best to reiterate and register the most important rules (several witty anecdotal evidences!). We also had very informative discussions on car mechanics which were both interesting and helpful. He is open to adapt to customer needs and in my case took daily lessons to help me pass in just over a week. Overall, highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: First time ever driving, at 27yo in Kingston Upon Thames (hellish place to drive). I got recommended this school by neighbours and struck luck when I got the best teacher, Basil! He is an amazing human, friendly and kind, and most importantly... patient! He brings a lot of experience but was more than happy to adjust his teaching ways to suit me better. He is the reason I passed my driving test the first time around, he's genuinely a miracle worker! He's a busy bee but he always replies, manages his students and expectations. Honestly a gem to find!

Fantastic experience: Thanks so much to my driving instructor Basil. After 9 lessons with him I passed at Tolworth with only four minors! I had failed twice before with other instructors and I believe Basil made a lot of difference to the result this time. His explanations were clearer than other teachers I have had and he was always alert, noticing every time I made a mistake, and reminding me to change. This motivated me to improve and guided my practice outside of lessons. Basil also had a really good knowledge of what was expected in the test and how to reach the standard, which made me confident that I could do it! As others say he is a warm and kind person, very trustworthy and honest, and we got on well. Fantastic experience: Basil is an amazing instructor, I was learning with my husband , but was not easy coz he is not proffessional instructor , I decided to join connect and Basil was my instructor, right way we get on well, warm character, very friendly, he always tell you the truth , very kind person. I got to learn all the tricks, quick and safe way to do things. I found parallel parking hard but with Basil I got it the first time. At the end of lesson always give you feed back or summary what you did wrong so you can work on it . He is very experience , before my test told me to keep calm , and remind me of all the things I need to know. If you do something wrong he will repeat again and again until it stick with you. If you are like me I keep forgetting, he still be gentle reminding you. We always have a good laugh. Made me enjoy driving and build my confidence.

Fantastic experience: After being with my driving instructor he analysed how many lessons I’ll need and how much time it will require me to be a professional driver as taking lessons I learned a lot of things like moving of crossroads and overcoming big roundabouts and junctions after learning how to drive I had my test taken at 8am in the morning and we had a lesson before my test for an hour he’s very professional and always patient to teach , thank you for helping me pass my driving!!

I have had dozens of lessons with other instructors and failed a couple of times due to nervousness about the test. Eshal was very thorough in covering the necessary material and made me feel confident and at ease. I honestly thought I would never pass the practical driving test, but Eshal proved me wrong!

Fantastic experience: I had the best instructor ever-Basil! I was desperately trying to find someone to help me. Most of the companies vere fully booked. I got in touch with Connect Driving School, because I needed an instructor urgently for my upcoming test. I also needed to take some hours before my test. The same day Basil contacted me to offer his help. I was very happy because I found him very professional, friendly and very helpful. He could help me with more driving hours than I expected. He prioritized my driving because of the close test date. He helped me to correct my previous mistakes and to get more confident. And the car was easy to drive, perfect. I passed my test. :) I am very thankful and highly recommend Basil to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I am grateful that I learnt from my driving instructor, Eshal and was able to pass first time at Tolworth! ☺️ Esha was an excellent teacher giving me clear instructions and guidance and made sure that I was able to understand and perform the manoeuvres. Not only did I improve in my driving skills but she also made sure to improve my confidence on the roads and motorways. Fantastic experience: I needed some refresher lessons ASAP. The school contacted me almost immediately. My instructor Esha was very accommodating and professional. She understood my situation and did everything she could to correct my driving and get me back on wheels. I wish I had her as my instructor when I was preparing to my test! 4 hours of training and I made 65 miles trip without an issue! Would definitely recommend this school to anyone and especially Esha as the instructor.
