Fantastic experience: Being a motorcyclist, you'd have to get rig of some road behaviour when switching over to the car. With Ridvan's expertise, I was able to pass my driving test within just one month (a bit over 20 hours) of practice. Ridvan is a very calm person with great sense of humour. You would never feel pressure while driving with him. You make a mistake? He will calm you down and will give you a good advice! I'm looking forward to start my Pass Plus training with him.

Fantastic experience: Am incredibly lucky to have had Ridvan say “yes” and accept me as his student. Having spent countless hours with him, he is incredibly busy and doesn’t accept every student. I work ungodly hours in a high-pressure career and Ridvan stuck by me even when I was at the edge (on many occasions) having not slept for 24 hours or more because of work and then jumping straight in for the test. Not ideal preparation. We got there in the end after a good night’s sleep. Had it not been for Ridvan there’s no question I would have probably given up. Thank you for of your time, patience, knowledge and wisdom - can’t say that I miss preparing for the test…. But definitely miss our time together. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy that I've found Ridvan. I took 20 lessons with the previous instructor and still was not able to drive safely and failed my exam. Ridvan highlighted what I need to focus on, he took me to all challenging roads/roundabouts (which the previous instructor hadn't done), he tought me how to be a good driver. I've been learning on and off for two years due to covid and personal health problems and Ridvan has been consistently patient, understanding and positive. As someone with anxiety, dyslexia and a physical disability, I was more nervous and slower than the average learner. At one point I didn't think I would be able to pass in a manual. Ridvan never made me feel slow or misunderstood but instead supported me through my own difficulties. Fantastic experience: I had a bad experience with a different driving school in Surbiton before I found Excellence. Ridvan is an excellent instructor and the difference between him and my old tutor was night and day! He is an excellent teacher and his relaxed and friendly approach really put me at ease. I wouldn’t say I was a nervous driver but I definitely wasn’t a natural and Ridvan helped me build confidence behind the wheel at my own pace. He was really flexible with my hours as I had to fit around work and childcare and I always found him punctual and organised (unlike my last instructor!). Fantastic experience: When my wife decided she wanted to learn to drive I decided to look for the best driving school /instructor in the area. Everybody knows that quality tuition is the key to becoming proficient at anything you do whether its driving, sports, etc, you will only succeed if you are taught well. With this in mind I researched all the driving schools in our area using a range of criteria. It soon became apparent that Excellence Driving School had an outstanding Driving Test success rate and as the Test Centre is totally independent of the driving school these figures can not be wrong. I spoke with the Excellence instructor (Ridvan) and told him our requirements, he was both informative and professional and we decided to go ahead with a package of lessons. Initially my wife was a slightly nervous driver but it was clear Ridvan's style of teaching soon put her mind at rest and she started to progress. Having taken a number of advanced driving courses myself over the last 30yrs I asked her each time about what she was covering in the lessons and how she was taught. I'm very happy to say that my initial research had been worthwhile and Ridvan proved to be a first class instructor. He was knowledgeable in regards of what test examiners would be looking for and went at a pace that made sure my wife would learn best at. All the hard work came to fruition on the Test day, I'm pleased to report she passed her test on the first attempt and with flying colours. Yes its a great achievement for my wife but its also equally testament to quality instruction from Ridvan. I had a really bad experience with my first instructor back in my home country which really affected my mentality as a driver. In addition to working on my confidence - I had to get acquainted with driving manual instead of automatic, as well as driving on the other side and learning the rules of the road. My second instructor from another local U.K. driving school here did not help with my confidence with constant negative criticism. I found the lessons incredibly stressful with the negativity and not engaging due to their lack of personality. I decided to give driving lessons another try by switching to Excellence and it was the best decision I made. Don't get ripped off by one of the soulless schools - Ridvan's easy going and can crack a decent joke which definitely helps you relax into the driving but when it comes down to it, he'll be honest and push you to where you need to be, which ultimately will be what you'll need to pass. I found Ridvan after typing in google ‘best driving teacher in Kingston/Surbiton’ and I was not disappointed. Ridvan not only offers a great price but your getting way more than you would expect. Ridvan makes you feel at ease and doesn’t teach you how he teaches everyone else he tailors his methods to your needs and learning style. I could not recommend Ridvan more, I passed first time with a clear sheet (no minors or majors). Excellent driving instructor and who all driver instructors should aspire to try and be like.

Fantastic experience: Great instructor, can't recommend Ridvan enough. Really patient and easygoing, he knows how to get across to everyone and I couldn't have passed my test without him. Great local knowledge and always happy to work around your schedule to fit in lessons.
