I am a very nervous driver and had already had a not so great experience with an intensive course from a previous company when I was 18. To return to driving after an 8 year break and whilst pregnant was a very daunting idea and these guys made it much easier. Thanks for getting me my pass!

He’s extremely easy to talk to and helped calm my nerves around driving very quickly (with the help of some dad jokes) . Great company full of talented instructors!!

Passed first time with Jordan which really felt impossible to start with as didn’t have any confidence on the road at all and think I almost gave Jordan a heart attack a couple times. Safe to say I’ve come a long way since then with Jordan’s help and can now safely drive my three month old about :)

Fantastic experience: I spent a fair amount of time looking for an instructor I thought would suit me well. I took a look around Facebook specifically searching for someone who was tolerant of people on the spectrum. I really struggled with the idea of meeting someone new, and then spending lots of time with them in a confined space, especially when conversation isn’t exactly my best skill! I decided early on that I wanted a female instructor and Faye’s name popped up a couple of times. The recommendations on Facebook looked promising so I block booked. I had no previous driving experience so started completely from the beginning. Faye was tolerant, patient and handled any mistakes I made with ease. She made the lessons a calm environment and really skilfully filled awkward silences (from me!) with unobtrusive conversation. It was relaxed and a safe learning environment. She was super client led, always asking what I’d like to work on next, or offering choices on what to do in our next lessons. As lessons progressed, I was able to make reasonable progress in a good amount of time. Faye put me at ease, cracked some hilarious one liners and helped give me the confidence to pass with three minors, just four months after starting my lessons with her. I would recommend Faye particularly to neurodivergent learners, nervous learners and complete beginners in particular. The only negative is that in passing so quickly, I’ll really miss my lessons with Faye! I feel a bit like I’m leaving a good friend behind! I couldn’t be more grateful and thankful I chose such a great person to teach me.

I used to be quite a nervous driver but he was really kind and his teaching methods were very suited towards me. The lessons were fun and very useful. Jordan helped me pass first time with him. Fantastic experience: If I could I would've given Pass Confident and specifically Jordan 10 stars out of 5. For many years I believed that I simply cannot drive, I was scared of cars, cyclits, pedestrians, leaves on the road etc. But with Jordan's immense help not only I overcame my fears and build confidence but I passed first time! He was incredibly supportive and understanding throughout. He is a very talented tutor that knows when to hold your hand and when to push you. He is incredibly knowlegable and flexible in teaching. Above all Jordan is a very nice person to be around, we had a good laugh and he was even supporting me when I was having bad times at work. For me it was a big chapter and I am very happy that I shared this journey with Jordan and Pass Confident. I highly recommend their services to all who want not only pass a driving test but to learn how to be safe on the road. Thank you

We have been driving together since November of last year and he taught me everything I knew and at the same time was someone you could freely talk to without being awkward. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test yesterday all thanks to Gary my instructor. I really can’t thank him enough for being such a patient, knowledgable and helpful instructor I really don’t know how I would have passed without him. Lessons were always really enjoyable and informative filled with great conversations and laughs, but of course mainly lots of teaching which was always really in-depth and easy to follow. The lessons were affordable and I always felt like i was getting my moneys worth. Overall just an amazing driving school and I can’t recommend enough. Thanks again Gary!

Negative experience: This is a review for Andy. Please take this with a grain of salt for the entire organisation; your experience may be different. I had recently failed a driving test in another town, and a cancellation had come up for the 3rd January at Peachman Way. Andy agreed to take me on for £450 (Double price due to it being the "holiday season", despite it being 2nd / 3rd January??). I was expecting much more for only 4.5 hours of lessons + use of vehicle for the test. Here are the pros: - Andy taught the manoeuvres very intuitively, including his parallel park method, and reverse bay park. - His car (Seat Cupra EV) was very well maintained, had some features like auto-handbrake, and clicking a button to change mode (this is because there was no handbrake). - The show me, tell me revision was handy just before the test. The pace of questions allowed me to stay engaged. Here are the cons: - Continuous, relentless grabbing the wheel for 'driving position'. This was a huge issue for me as my driving position was okay. I'm not sure why he wanted me to drive in the curb. I did not receive a driving fault for 'positioning' during the test. I told Andy to stop after 3 hours of grabbing the wheel and he began to argue with me. - Shouting for minor faults - I know I'm not a perfect driver, which is why I reached out to try and correct any issues. When I asked questions, I was often interrupted or given a waffly, indirect answer. He seemed annoyed when I had a question (e.g "I haven't said anything, why are you bothering asking questions?"). This shouting also happened when I accidently took a wrong turn. I found he spoke very quickly at times, which was quite difficult as I'm not entirely familiar with the Norfolk accent. - I needed the toilet during one of our lessons around 15 mins before the test (admittedly, I exaggerated my need as I wanted to cool off before the test because of the continual shouting). He advised I did my business in the field rather than at the test center?? - Incorrect / misinformation around signal usage when pulling off from the left/right, and part of manoeuvres (like paralell park, reverse bay). Told me I would 'fail' for using signal when pulling off. My common sense told me it would be a good idea to inform potential drivers what i was going to do, so they wouldn't follow too closely. I bit my tongue and did my own thing in the test. Again, I didn't receive a driving fault during the test for this. - Continued vulgar language, made me feel quite uncomfortable when he spoke ill about other driving instructors, including my previous instructor. - Any explanation / conversation felt like a humble brag. I don't care that you've been a driving instructor for 18 years. We're all humans, and we're all learning. You're not omniscient. - Asked me where I wanted to be dropped off (city), then dropped me off in a different place (I had to walk 10 mins to get into the city). I think this epitomises my whole experience. - (EDIT): I forgot to mention that, for 4.5 hours of driving, I wasn't taken on the Ring Road, despite claiming to have 'already taken me around common places for failures' ?? I feel I have been quite generous with a 2*, I feel scammed for 4.5 hours of lessons, independent if I passed or failed my second test. Nethertheless, this is a mere representation of one individual within Pass Confident.

Fantastic experience: Where to start! Faye is an amazing instructor, patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and understands Autism and its effects which gave me great confidence. She was always a great support through the whole driving experience and I highly recommend her. Even when at my highest of anxieties she knew how to keep me calm and we always had a good giggle which took the pressure away.

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive with Jordan has been awesome. I am an older person and really lacked confidence. I also have dyslexia and I know I need time to let things sink in. Jordan was very patient and adapted his teaching style to fit with my way of learning. This was brilliant as it meant I felt relaxed and as I progressed my confidence grew. I would recommend Pass Confident Driving School. Oh and the app is also very handy and easy to use.

Negative experience: Asked for some help for a young boy forced to Come out of area to take test due to the National shortage … response… “Everyone in Norwich has a waiting list until July and to be honest part of the reason we can’t get a test for our own pupils is because people book tests from out of area so I can’t say I know if any that are either willing to help or lend their car (which is our livelihood) to someone we don’t know.” How helpful is that !!!! Are we not allowed to use your roads Norwich ???

Fantastic experience: I started my automatic driving lessons as a complete anxious wreck. Faye helped me push past my fears and gain confidence on the road. Jordan took over my lessons as faye wasn't covering my area anymore. His attitude to learning and how he explained things were exactly what I needed to get test ready. I passed first time with 2 very tiny minors. I wholeheartedly believe that I'd still be learning if it wasn't for you guys. You have helped me achieve something I never thought I would and have changed mine and my kids lives forever. I will be forever grateful. Thank you so, so much. If you're thinking of using these guys, pls don't hesitate.... They're amazing. You won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was John. He looks very confident teaching exactly as name of the school is. I really appreciate the way he was very happy in times we do good on the road, similarly he strictly wants us to be what he prudently advise us to be on the driving seat. Simply to tell again, if you do exactly what John says, it will be a sure pass, no doubt. John is a grand teacher, I was repeatedly thinking when i passed the driving test in my first attempt with only few mistakes. They mistakes were exactly what John stressed me to correct myself during lessons. unbelievable. And the mock tests I got with John was surprisingly 100% similar to what the exam was!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend or thank Jordan enough for everything he has taught me the past 6 months. Today I passed my test, and in a way I will miss our lessons! Jordan is an excellent driving instructor with a great sense of humour, and makes you feel very comfortable behind the wheel. Learning in both the city and countryside, I have gained a lot of experience with Jordan. 110% recommend, I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Jordan was an excellent instructor who provided me with confidence along with excellent lessons which fit around my schedule really well. Fantastic experience: Pass confident took me on at short notice for the 20 hour intensive course for automatic vehicles. My instructor was Faye. She was an extremely good. She allowed me the freedom to drive and also fine tuned my driving to test standards in a short period of time. I thank both Faye and Pass confident for helping me get my British Licence on my first shot.

Paid for 25 hour intensive course, only used 21 hours so was fully refunded the four outstanding hours within 24hrs. Really pleased with Pass confident and would definitely recommend!!
