The way he teaches is amazing and so useful and definitely no time wasted during lessons. Fantastic experience: I PASSED MY TEST ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT WITH YASIR!!! So I had one instructor before YASIR and I had to block the guy after my first lesson! But the moment YASIR took over my lessons, my goodness, even on days I did not have faith in myself because I have dyslexia, Yasir would encourage me and let me know how good I was. He is a very honest man and he won’t waste your time or money. Every penny spent was worth it. On days I was not up to scratch, he corrected me constructively. He does NOT yell or shout when you make mistakes. He was never late for any of my lessons. And he picked me up exactly where I needed him to. 10/10 service. And his car!!! Very clean and smooth to drive! I could go on and on. Thank you so much Yasir! I will recommend him a million times over!

Fantastic experience: Simply Automatic is the best driving company in the Birmingham area. I met the owner Andy in 2022 and at that time I had the basic driving skills but I lacked confidence in roundabouts, my manoeuvres and driving at a fast speed on the dual carriageway. Andy very quickly built up my confidence and before I knew it, I could do everything I was scared about. Andy really pushed me out my depth but this helped me to grow in confidence as a driver. As I had failed my test three times I thought Andy would give up on me but he even went as far as booking tests on my behalf to make sure I got a chance. On August 27th 2024 I finally passed my test on my fourth time and this is all thanks to Andy. Andy you are the best! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I hadn't driven for 10 years, and the last time I did, it was on the right side of the road as I'm from abroad. I took a few lessons with Andy to refresh my skills and adjust to driving on the left. Andy clearly explained everything I struggled with, boosting my confidence. Negative experience: 2 stars is generous. Done 5 driving tests and spent A LOT of money. After this time and money invested I have been ignored by the instructor and had to find another driving school. If you want to pass avoid automatic driving school as I was with them for YEARS. Fantastic experience: I cannot speak more highly about Manny. After a bad experience with one of the Big driving companieS (Mentioning no names) I had 2 lessons with Manny as I was a competent driver and just needed a bit of polishing for my test. First lesson, manoeuvres which were my weak point smashed it first time every time. Listen to this guy, take on his advice and he WILL get you through your test. Negative experience: absolute poor driving service. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. instructor didnt teach test routes till the week before the driving exam, and said there was some sort of fault in his car a week before the driving exam. He recommended to choose a different instructor last minute. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Leave you stranded without help.

Negative experience: Very bad experience. Instructor told me I couldn’t pass . When I am sick he is so rude in telling he don’t have time. I went on with RSM and in almost 20 days I passed my test. That’s how a good school should be encouraging and inspiring. I really recommend anyone not to choose this simply automatic

Fantastic experience: What can I say about Andy - the more I thanked him the less it was, after having years of fear and never wanting to learn driving, nearly giving up , I have passed today! Only after taking a few lessons he encouraged me and brought my confidence up to become a independent successful driver! He does not waste time, does not book you for extra lessons when not required, he knows your abilities and belives in his students to pass. He had gone out of his way to teach me around routes he does not usually, he agreed to take me on despite of busy schedule when other drivers where not available. Negative experience: Poor communication skills shown and wasn’t taking lessons for weeks because he was busy doing personal stuff all the time, left me chasing him around for a lesson like I’m a dog, said he would do my test then when got closer to the time was like I can’t do your test even through we set the date and time. Only wanted to know if it was a king standing test. Messed about got no car for my test in 2 weeks thanks Andy.
Hi there, I am aware of this scenario. Having looked back at the communication between us, I had informed you to book your test in November so it gives me the hours you required before taking a test which you didn't agree with. I always advise pupils when I feel they are not ready for their test. There was no time to complete the adequate amount of lessons required which was communicated as soon as I was informed of your test. Fantastic experience: I had Andy as my driving instructor and will most definitely recommend him! After all the hard work and under his guidance- I passed!! (Had 1 minor, it really could have been 0 minor but that was my mistake for a moment of slight hesitation). Andy knew who much of a difference passing would make to my daily life( kids, commuting to work, school drop offs, fun activities with the family etc) to the extent that when I made a mistake that I shouldn’t make, I could see it pained him just as much as it did me- he really want me to pass and not waste my hard earned money on the lessons! He definitely pushed me to be the confident driver that I am today! Of course, there are lessons when he got to my nerves( I mean I got on my own nerves then too) but it's all worth it in the end. Fantastic experience: Andy, the best instructor. I was taking lessons from another instructor but stopped nearly 18months ago. Now when I tried to book my test, I got the date within three weeks. I had no reference of any instructor with an automatic car. I approached Andy after seeing his car on the road. Though he was fully booked but still managed to book me in for few lessons. I took 7 lessons and passed my test. He is very kind and humble human being. He gives genuine feedback which helps in improving the driving skills. Fantastic experience: After failing 4 tests with different instructors, Mr Andy had helped me see and fix my mistakes from the very start. He is a great experienced instructor and gave me the confidence to take a test again and I have passed with only 2 minors! Strongly recommend him and his team!

Fantastic experience: Thank you Andy, for helping me to pass my driving test. Negative experience: Andy was constantly on the phone whilst I was taking lessons, shouted at me at every chance he got and made me feel stupid. He'd constantly be on his phone speaking to other people or booking lessons. Definitely a negative experience. Edit - Andy called me to ask me why I put up the original review and we agreed to disagree but this is not a fake review at all. This is how I felt when I took lessons with Andy. This was the first time I ever took lessons and did not know what to expect but even then I knew his behaviour was rude but never said anything because I had nothing to compare it to. I took nearly 16/17 lessons and did not learn half the things I learnt from my new instructor after 3 lessons.
