Fantastic experience: Recently passed had really good instructor (Hywell) who taught me everything I needed to know to pass and he did it well as I only got 1 minor fault. Never felt pressured or anxious on a lesson cause we could just have bit of a laugh (while also having professionalism) but in a way that I’d forget about nerves and just drive. I had my test a little earlier than most people would have and he was still able to get me ready for my test date in a smaller window of time to what the usual recommended hours would be. Cheers mate.

Fantastic experience: Eric Ellard helped me through my driving struggles when I first started to learn to drive and then it was about preparing for my test which we did a lot on the main roundabouts to grow my confidence

Fantastic experience: I’m posting this on behalf of my son who has just passed his driving test after just nine weeks of instruction with Adam Healy of Nigel Richards Driving School. Adam was always polite and punctual and not only taught my son just how to drive, but how to read the road and drive with confidence. I was recommended the school by several friends and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: Switched from an instructor who had struggled to help me pass for a year, to Jamie Pritchard who had me passed within a month! So grateful for the amount of time, patience and support he gave to help me pass and regain confidence. Wish I switched sooner, and couldn’t recommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: I learnt with Jamie Pritchard who was an amazing instructor who got me to pass in under 6 months before Christmas. With him I learnt fast and always felt relaxed in the drivers seat which is what I wanted most when looking for an instructor.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely superb! Nigel trained me years ago, got me through 1st time. And my son has today passed with Ian speare 1st time. Ian has been superb. My son has autism, ADHD and anxiety and was really reluctant/hesitant to undertake training. He was only ever going to go with Nigel Richards driving school and Ian was a perfect choice of instructor for my son's needs. He's been patient, calm and positive influence throughout. As chuffed as Ewan is with his pass, he did say the sad thing is he doesn't get to work with Ian anymore. Ian is a real asset to your company Nigel Richards driving school, I cannot recommend this guy enough. See you in August when my daughter turns 17 . Thank you

Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to Gillian! She is a gentle soul, and her method of teaching is 10/10. Gillian told me how she had been a teacher previously and worked with autistic individuals, and this really shown in my driving lessons with her. She was gentle, kind and really helped me believe in myself. I did my test, first time, on Monday 9th December and passed with 3 minors. I did do it in my own car, as she is on her holidays, but I would not have been successful if it was not for her support and encouragement!!! Any fellow neurodivergent individuals looking for an understanding and knowledgeable instructor, I cannot recommend Gillian enough :)

Fantastic experience: I learned with Adam Healy and i couldn’t have asked for anyone better to learn with. He made driving such a positive experience for me and i’ve loved every second of driving. Adam helped me so much with feeling comfortable, by my second lesson i had no nerves. Fantastic experience: A big thank you to Nigel Richard’s Driving School for helping with my preparation and learning towards my driving test. I started with my instructor Ian Speare in October last year, and from coming from a different driving instructor I was a very nervous driver with very little knowledge and confidence, so we started from fresh and I wouldn’t recommend anyone more. Ian was so understanding, patient, friendly and helpful he truly is so good at his job. Now I feel confident enough to drive by myself, and passed my test today! A huge thank you to Ian, and thanks to all of Nigel Richard’s Driving School!! ☺️

I can list hundreds of things he did to help get me ready for my test but the one thing that stands out from the rest is how much he cares about his pupils and their development throughout each lesson, coming up with new strategies and adapting lessons to suit each new pupil. He is a hard working and dedicated instructor that anyone would be lucky to be taught by. (You can stop mythering me to do a review now, dad )

Fantastic experience: Mrs.Gillian, Is very fun to drive with. She is the best instructor, she's charming and very nice. I enjoyed my lessons with her. We did 97% of the routes that came up during my driving test and how to approach them. She was big help to my journey getting my licence. I liked the timeliness of the lessons, instructions and the time I spend. Just be conversational and the easiness to learn will come naturally!

Fantastic experience: I started with Adam Healy in January, I could barely move the vehicle nevermind drive it, and he got me from that to passing with zero minors this morning, he goes above and beyond to get into the mental state of the student and teaches them accordingly, not only that but he makes the lessons fun and informative, he is without a doubt the best instructor this place has to offer, I could not be thankful enough for having him and recommend him to everyone reading this. Fantastic experience: Will recommend this driving school to absolutely everyone who is looking, especially Adam Healy. I had been with another driving instructor which was nothing but bad experiences and made my nerves worse. I then took a big break from learning after I decided the instructor was simply not good for me. I then changed schools and Adam was the complete opposite, he's calm, kind and incredibly helpful and actually made me enjoy my lessons. Every lesson however I was still nervous but after a few minutes in the Car with Adam it simply went away. He pushed me out of my comfort zone but not untill I was ready. I have now passed 1st time, all thanks to Adam. Thank you again if you're reading this.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a driving instructor who is patient, analytic, thorough and will put you at ease, Nigel Richards Driving school is where to go for lessons. As someone who suffers terribly with anxiety, It was vital that my instructor had these qualities and it is evident that the whole team knows what they are doing. Jen was my instructor, she was amazing and we did so much laughing. We hit it off instantly and even the bad lessons would end on a positive and optimistic note. Jen was able to read me like a book after only a few lessons! Through my own experience as well as hearing from friends who also chose this school, I can confidently say the lengths that these instructors go to while getting to know you is truly admirable. Passing your driving test is the best feeling in the world and I am so glad I chose Nigel Richards to get me over this amazing milestone!

Fantastic experience: Considering I joined after being with a previous instructor for nearly a year, moving to this driving school has been an amazing confidence boost. Neil has been patient, caring and extremely calm whilst I have been so nervous and a wreck most lessons. He showed me how a driving lesson should really be like, and that’s how I discovered the passion to drive despite already learning for a year. Passing second time with 1 minor was such a reward considering how anxious I had been, Neil never gave up and was always prompt with lessons and always gave the choice on what I wanted to work on. Fantastic experience: Could not recommend adam enough!!! I didn't think i'd be able to pass my test after having other driving instructors, but adam built my confidence up and helped me over come my fear of being behind the wheel. He made me feel comfortable on every lesson and helped me tackle any difficulties i had while learning, from not being able to drive and to scared to go past 20mph i have now passed my test with only 2 minors and have never felt so confident behind the wheel, so a big thankyou to adam for making this happen.

Fantastic experience: Can not recommend Adam enough, absolutely amazing instructor! After having a couple of instructors previously, I can honestly say that Adam is definitely the best out there. He Completely puts you at ease and actually makes the lessons fun, instead of being something to dread. He adapts his lessons to how you learn best and has a way of explaining things that just make it so simple and gives you complete confidence in yourself. Most of all he is calm and relaxed. Never had to worry if I didn't understand something or made a mistake. He would just explain why that happend and what to do next time, calmly with no stress or drama. Negative experience: My son started his lessons with Dave Johnson, and as he was in school there were limited periods for his lessons as the instructor did not work after school pick up due to personal commitments. My son predominantly had early Monday lessons before school. To begin with there was no issues and my son managed to get his lessons. However clearly another client paid 10 lessons which I was told guaranteed their slot. Hence my son started to not get his Monday slot. The company use an app called Go Roadie. The instructors sends out available slots for the week, first come gets the appts. As previously mentioned, those who have paid over £400 in one go, get their preferred slot. I did contact the office regarding this and on one occasion was sent through a Monday morning. This led to my son having gaps in his driving lessons. Then one morning the instructor arrived at the house, allegedly parked outside and waited 20 minutes and then sent me a text to say the lesson had been cancelled! Apparently in the T and Cs it states the instructor will wait outside for 20 minutes, if no one appears, the lesson is cancelled. My son was in his bedroom with the window open and never saw the instructor. The instructor sent a dash cam picture in of his location, which was not outside our house. We queried this with the office and I was later told that the instructor was outside our house but took the picture from the next street??? I was told that Dave, the instructor would contact me… he never did! I waited for appts to come through on the app but never saw another lesson… clearly we had been removed. No phone call… nothing. Luckily we managed to get an A listed instructor, she stated that my son had been taught “the wrong way round”. So we had wasted time and money on an instructor who clearly is not qualified. I would not recommend this business! Thankyou for your quick response.. Just needed to clarify a point. My son never missed any of his lessons, your instructor cancelled once when he had his lesson Monday morning, as he said his wipers needed replacing!!! The other is mentioned above.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Carl was a very good and exciting experience, I have learnt a lot in a short amount of time and have successfully passed my driving test!

Fantastic experience: If you’re thinking of becoming a driving instructor then please don’t hesitate to call Nigel. The support I got from the first day of training from Nigel, Nick and the whole team is second to none. The best thing I did was call Nigel and say I want to be a driving instructor. Fantastic experience: As an incredibly nervous learner, I couldn’t recommend Carl enough. Within the space of a few months he took me from believing I could never possibly pass a test to passing on my second test. I found him to be very knowledgable, patient and also reassuring and would recommend him to anyone.
