Fantastic experience: Training at tilston was one of the best decisions I’ve made, I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before I called in and spoke to Sam and Steve. I now understand why they have good reviews and an excellent pass rate. Steve and Dave guided me through the whole process of getting my Class 1 and passing first time. I also did a 2hr round trip everyday and it was worth it.

Fantastic experience: I chose to do my LGV driving course and test with Tilston Training after reading their reviews... and they didn't disappoint! Everyone there was really lovely and my instructor, Dave, was great - he put me at ease straight away and assured me there was no such thing as a silly question. Having been an examiner before, he was extremely knowledgeable and ran through all of the potential hotspots I could be taken to on my test. As long as I listened to Dave I knew everything would be OK! The whole course was very competitively priced too, and so I would 100% recommend choosing Tilston to anyone finding the prospect of taking their driving test a bit daunting!

Fantastic experience: I recently obtained my C1 licence with Tilston and I could not recommend them more. The instructors were excellent, friendly and provided a good atmosphere to learn in. They have modern vehicles and good facilities on site. Even the local area is a good and simple area for a test, which is a positive. When I was looking for who to go with, Tilston was around half the price of most competitors and honestly I could not fault them. I would recommend them to anyone for any licence, not just for C1.

Fantastic experience: I work as a paramedic and part of my job I needed to get my C1 license, I was recommended by a work colleague to attend Tilston. I had Dave as my instructor and he made me feel so supported and relaxed the whole time, we were laughing and enjoying the drive all day and he very well prepared me for my test. Not only were they the cheapest in the country for me as I am training to be a paramedic so even cheaper . But let the reviews speak for themselves. The service is exceptional from start to finish . Provided a brilliant app for my theories booking my theories for me. Then for my practical practise I had Dave for my driving , and Sam for the time before my test . Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my driver training with Tilston to get my C1 & E licence. I had a day with Gary who was very knowledgeable and made the whole day feel relaxed, and I had no issues passing my trailer test on the 1st day. I did a large amount of driving around town also on the first day to get confortable with the van and trailer which helped me feel very prepared and familiar with the vehicle on the day of the test! Would definately recommend Tilston training for any vehicle training as they are clearly a very professional company with a great team of experienced staff. All the best.

Fantastic experience: Staff are brilliant, or should I say lack of staff being a small family run business which is hard to find these days, this personal approch makes you feel comfortable and relaxed, its great to be on first name tearms whenever you need to call with a query. To top it off it was much better priced than any of the many I contacted beforehand, altho costing considerably less the service is top class, and my test was passed with ease due to the excellent system inplace. Fantastic experience: What a fantastic professional company right from the very first contact with Sam. Everything was explained very clearly and I was given clear advice and guidance throughout the application for my provisional licence. Both my multiple choice and hazard perception were booked by Sam. My instructor was Gary who was fantastic he was very clear and concise with his training and made the training really enjoyable. I passed the reversing/uncoupling practical on my first day and then 2 more days of driving before passing my C+E . I would definitely recommend Tilston Training and all of the team. Fantastic experience: Completed my C1 here at Tilston. Gary was brilliant with me, I’d never been in a vehicle bigger than my hatchback so was nervous, but Gary helped ease my nerves and really reassured me. Had my test the following week, did a lesson before hand to refresh, passed that day which I don’t think I would have without Tilston. Fantastic experience: Excellent Instructors can't fault them, originally went with the big driver training company in Shrewsbury. Tilsons are in a different league compared to them.

They are such a great company to do the driver training with that it makes the whole daunting process much easier. They really know their stuff and what is required to pass the driving test. They are a family run business and it shows as they care about people passing first time and teach you correctly to help achieve this (thankfully I did). Fantastic experience: I recently passed my C1 test and I cannot thank the whole of team at Tilston for their help in getting me through it! From first contact with Steve and Sam, they were very accommodating and informative about the whole process, and nothing was ever too much trouble. I had Dave as my instructor for the training. He helped to keep me calm when I was overthinking. (I think this was partly due to his dad jokes!!) He kept everything sweet and simple, so it was easy to follow and understand. On the day of my test I had Gary, who again was lovely. He helped to keep me calm and get rid of those last minute nerves. Mark the examiner was pleasant. And I can't forget about Andy too!! The whole team were very pleasant and very welcoming, which made the whole process so much smoother and enjoyable. I would 100% recommend them to anyone who is looking at any sort of driving lessons and training. I travelled from Stoke to do my training with Tilston, and even with a hotel stay it was still cheaper than any other local company to myself. They are worth every penny and more. An amazing bunch of people! Thanks again to all at Tilston!

Fantastic experience: Cannot fault these folks at all - absolutely lovely people! I had Dave for my C1 training - I was incredibly anxious before attending but Dave’s calming nature (and the occasional dad joke) and his repetition of the important things to remember during the driving helped me pass today, first time, zero minors! Fantastic experience: I’d just like to say a big thank you to Dave at Tilston for the first class service I received gaining my c1! I’m a bit gutted I didn’t get my cuddly toy but I’d of happily swapped it for the pass certificate thank you for making me feel at ease with your amazing dad jokes and not making me feel silly for the mistakes I made or the questions I asked. Fantastic experience: Just passed my C1 practical today with these guys on my first attempt, thanks to Gary and dave and the rest of the team (Steve) who are very professional, felt at ease throughout the two days, would highly recommend to anyone looking to complete further driving qualification, also thanks to Justin the Irish guy who made my practical test very at ease and comfortable felt so relaxed. All staff have a laugh and joke
