Fantastic experience: I was in last Thursday 3rd October for my CBT and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to AJ & CJ . I think our group were AJs second CBT class he'd ever taught. He was absolutely fantastic and kept a close eye on us all . I was struggling with a few things and he took the time to go over it with me , nothing was a bother to him. If there was anything I was unsure of he took the time to demonstrate it and make sure I knew what I was doing. In the afternoon CJ took me out for our time on the road. I was feeling very nervous as I was lacking confidence with a couple of things. CJ put me right at ease and took the time to go over things again with me. Whenever we stopped he checked to make sure I was ok and gave me the opportunity to ask any questions. He was very patient and I thoroughly enjoyed being out. AJ & CJ are excellent at their jobs and I am very grateful to them both for getting me through and giving me the confidence to complete everything. Sent from Outlook for iOS

Fantastic experience: Re did my CBT with pro Scot as it had expired. The instructor was friendly and professional. My group were experienced riders but still the instructor pulled us up on bad habits. Shame the weather was poor but good experience riding in bad conditions and I felt the instructor managed the traffic behind us well which made me feel safe.. Stay safe out there.

Negative experience: Money grabbers. Their training grounds are sloped and small just to make it complicated. It's a riding school but they expect to know how to ride before hand so they don't have to make any effort.

Always punctual, often arriving a little earlier and finishing a little later. Mel teaches things at the rate the learner learns. Fantastic experience: Although I didn’t pass my CBT on the first try, the experience with Colin was outstanding! He is very knowledgeable and has deep technical knowledge and bike riding experience. My safety as well as the safety of others on the road was his prime consideration. I will definitely go back to try again and I appreciate his reassurances throughout the day. Given that I’m a novice without any experience. Thank you to the empathetic team. Great facilities which were spotlessly clean.

Negative experience: I am leaving a negative review for the motorcycle center . There is a lack of professional customer service, and the office staff behave as if they are there as a punishment. The training was supposed to cover Mod1, but we spent 8 hours riding a 125cc motorcycle around the city, which in my opinion, is pointless. Another problem is that you pay for 3 hours of using a 650cc motorcycle, but you only ride for 40 minutes because they take 4 people to the training center, and only one person can ride on the maneuvering area while the rest stand and watch. In our case, the weather was terrible, and we stood in the rain. I am very dissatisfied with this training center, so I strongly warn others. If you don’t want to waste your money, please go to another center. This place is just a money-making factory with no professional customer service.

Fantastic experience: Can not recommend ProScot enough, especially my instructor Andrew McKay. I have received great advice for the duration of my lessons allowing me to pass 1st time! Andrew has been able to coach me through some tough lessons, enabling me to reflect and improve. I have been provided with the awareness, control and confidence to drive! a great experience from start to finish!

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Tasha Wehrle and I highly recommend her! I had put off learning to drive for a few years due to nerves, but Tasha immediately put me at ease. She was so lovely and patient, and explained all aspects of driving very clearly. I passed this morning on my 2nd attempt with zero minors. I'm delighted to have passed, but will definitely be missing my lessons with Tasha!

Negative experience: No show by ProScot. Four people including myself stood in the rain before calling it quits after 25-minutes. No answer from multiple phone lines provided. One of the attendees had traveled down from Aberdeen so had wasted 4 hours of their day on nothing. We truly were the April fools

Fantastic experience: After a lay off over 45 years I decided to take up motorbiking again. Thinking my age would be against me,I could never have been so wrong.The entire staff of ProScot,Office Staff and instructors were professional and enthusiastic.As I felt I needed a refresher before I sat my CBT,I undertook a couple of introductory sessions,which for me were invaluable.Top marks to CJ,who explained and demonstrated all the required fields in a very understanding and professional manner.Thank's CJ & ProScot

Fantastic experience: Mel Marshall was an amazing instructor. Incredibly patient and took the time to explain things properly. Mel helped to work through nerves and was a great support on my test day. I highly recommend trying to get lesson from Mel as she really was the best instructor I've had!

Fantastic experience: My Instructor Colin was excellent. I’ve never been on a manual bike before and he was patient and always gave helpful advice. if I did something incorrect, he explained everything in a way that anyone could understand. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I learned to drive with pro scot with James McAra-Briggs. James took on bored my previous experience and we took it from there. He took the time to explaine things I didn't understand and adapted it in ways he knew i was understand. James is very passionate about his job and it shows through the encouragement he gives you as a student. When I found things hard he would take time till I got it right. He was very easy to talk to and get on with felt like you where out for a drive with a friend. Thanks James for everything

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my motorcycle CBT with ProScot and couldn’t recommend them enough for anyone looking to take their CBT. I went from never sitting on a motorcycle before to ending the day confident that I would be a safe road user. This is thanks to both CJ and Colin, who were both excellent at explaining the riding process whilst being incredibly patient and thorough. I will be back in the new year for the DAS course.

Fantastic experience: Had an Introduction class last night with Callum. Have to say it was brilliant and the Instructor was first class. That a few instructors we have spoke to at Kirkcaldy and they have been brilliant, nothing is to much trouble. Little bit more expensive than other places but first class instructors.

Fantastic experience: Did the two hour bike intro session in June with CJ, which was hugely beneficial when it came to doing my CBT and I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of getting on a bike. I then did my CBT with Ruth in early July, and the DAS course with Colin and Paul. I just passed my Mod2, so just over a month from CBT to pass. All the instructors were brilliant, huge thanks to them all, and I really enjoyed the experience with proscot. Very happy to have passed, and now on to the real life learning!

Fantastic experience: Sat my DAS (And a CBT Resit) with ProScot and couldn't be happier. The whole team was amazing every step of the way, especially Paul, Colin and Ruth who were the main folk I had the pleasure of being trained by. Honestly couldn't have been a more smooth and learning experience. The value for money vs other training schools is completely blown away by ProScot.

His lessons were very engaging and I always learn new things from him even though I had experience driving in a different country previously. Fantastic experience: Fred Beck was my instructor. Can’t speak highly enough of him- what a man. From start back in 2021 to todays pass in 2023 he’s been nothing but patient, friendly, understanding, professional and an all round top instructor. I’ll miss his wisdom and company but I’m very grateful to have met such a great guy. I’ve took all of his wisdom on driving onboard to ensure I drive safely and to a high standard ALWAYS. Fantastic experience: Fred Beck was my instructor, he was absolutely fantastic and not only does he provide you with the driving experience and knowledge to pass your test. He puts great emphasis on road safety and consideration for other road users which, will do you well long after you've passed. He was witty, encouraging and very prepared. There was always a plan and it gave me, someone who never thought they'd learn to drive, the confidence that I was on my way. He's a real credit to ProScot. I initially started with James Kilgour who was also fantastic but due to him switching to automatic cars, ProScot and James got me in touch with Fred very quickly. I had a great experience with ProScot from the start of my driving to passing my test and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend James Kilgour as a driving instructor. He always remained very patient and calm and used different approaches to explain things until it ‘clicked’ for me. He made sure that we work through the elements challenging to me until I became more confident in my judgments. Although it took me a while, with James I have passed the first time with no faults.

Fantastic experience: I have been driving for a whilst abroad and migrated here UK in 2019. I must say, I have loads of bad habits and I honestly thought it will be hard for me to pass the driving test here. But fortunately, a friend of mine referred me to the best driving instructor, Fred Beck, who made such a huge difference in my life. He patiently taught me how to work on my driving skills, correct all the bad habits, and develop my confidence. I have enjoyed all the sessions and was always looking forward to drive around. His approach is very calm and he always have a positive attitude, which is a big factor in order for me to focus on driving safely. I asked him to sit in the car with me on my driving test, and he supported me all the way up to the time the examiner told me that I passed. Truly an amazing experience. I highly recommend ProScot most especially Fred Beck. I can’t thank you enough. More power and God bless

Fantastic experience: I done my CBT with proscot in the summer and thoroughly enjoyed it. I then took up initial DAS lessons with a place in Glasgow as it was a shorter commute. But the level of training just didn’t compare. So I bit the bullet, quit it and went for the full DAS course with proscot. I felt instantly at ease with the decision, and a first time mod 1/2 pass later here I am! I can see myself going back for the advanced training at some point as I really like the trainers and environment and will miss the learning journey! Highly recommend. Cheers, Ethan

Resat my CBT on the fast rack course, not only saving money but time also as we were able to breeze through the day demonstrating our knowledge and skills instead of just being taught them by the instructor. Negative experience: You'd be getting zero stars if I could . As long as you're passing your test you'll be banging on the 5 stars ! Due to circumstances , I couldn't manage my test day and I spoke to one of your instructors over the phone to inform them that morning as I couldn't have any earlier ! ( due to my son having additional support needs which I explained to you and circumstances, beyond my control ) Pro Scot wanted another £100 booking fee ( was going to be another 200 ! ) How greedy do you get ?! after paying £200 fee ( Never mind , the lame excuse , you'd be out of business ! ) .. Admin staff said to me perhaps " CBT test not for you Caroline " ( how professional ) during a phone discussion... John MacDonald , unprofessional discussing with me on forecourt re. my situation ( not to mention leaving feeling singled out at introductory , funny that only female there and barely made it off in 1st gear ) I learned more on a friend's bike and managed up to 3rd gear ( on a private off road area ) after leaving your forecourt that day . I've a female biker friend that went elsewhere after she and another had dealings with your instructor, 20 yrs ago . She passed , but went elsewhere after her CBT ( Wish I'd known the similar experiences! ) Your reply of my reviews is irrelevant ( define " lots of " ?! )and you forget there was a witness to your behaviour / female admin asssistant's comments on phone later that day ( saying I wasn't a suitable candidate ?! After discussion with my introductory Instructor ) . I was calm towards you , ( you just can't accept constructive criticism ) This isn't about your other candidates ! This was about me as new to it and a paying customer . No break in the two hours to take time out to reassure etc.

Fantastic experience: In the past few months I have gone through my CBT and full licence with ProScot and would absolutely recommend. Paul and Ruth were my instructors across the standard course and it was excellent. Had a great time, made mistakes, had a good laugh. The experience of the bike instructors is amazing and I finished up fully confident. If you are thinking about getting a bike licence then this is the place to get it. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: Anyone who’s looking for an excellent driving instructor I can highly recommended Scott Kelly, who teaches you not only to pass your test but to become a safe driver. Fantastic experience: A quick google search for local CBT/Direct Access motorcycle training revealed Pro Scot, I am so pleased that I took the decision to use this professional training team. From a nervous arrival for CBT and all the way through to passing MOD2, a multitude of instructors put me and the other students through our paces, and demonstrated great patience more than once. The instructors and the office staff are always welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, for example I really needed my MOD1 & MOD2 at certain dates, they juggled diaries and I was given the exact dates. A special mention and recommendation for my main instructors Paul & Ruth, just brilliant at what they do If your looking for CBT, MOD1, MOD2, or just want a refresher after a long break from riding then I can’t recommend Pro Scot enough.

I had Colin as my instructor for the day and he had so much patience, perfect teaching manner but very laid back and approachable at the same time. Once you book with Pro Scot they will send you an email with recommended videos to watch, please watch them. They are extremely informative and give you a great idea as to what you are coming to. Fantastic experience: I honestly cannot thank you or highly recommend proscot enough, they are the best. I struggle with severe anxiety and have never even driven on the road or had any road experience. I was hoping to get through my CBT, I didn't think it would be possible. I cannot believe that after 2 intro lessons and attending twice for my CBT I actually managed it i am beyond chuffed, it really is down to and a special thanks to the most amazing instructors for being so supportive, understanding and believing in me even when I didn't myslf. Fantastic experience: Novice who attended for CBT with Colin after a word of mouth recommendation. I had next to no motorbike experience. The pre course videos were an excellent starting point and helped speed along the theory to create time for practice. Colin is firm in his teaching style but clear in his explanations. The lessons were always controlled and safe. He was always encouraging us to try and learn by doing. This combination helped to build confidence steadily throughout the day. Overall I would recommend ProScot and will be returning myself to gain a full bike licence.

Fantastic experience: This can only be a 5 star review. I sat my cbt today at pro scot with Colin as my instructor and enjoyed every minute of it. Totaly relaxed atmosphere from the moment I arrived, with excellent training facilities, very profesonal and well mannered staff. Will definetly keep on recommending people to use pro scot. Fantastic experience: Just completed my CBT with ProScot and the experience has been very positive. From the first telephone enquiry to the end of the training, everyone I met from the company was friendly and efficient. In particular, my instructor Colin was very thorough and ensured we had plenty of time in the yard before heading out on the road. He was very encouraging and supportive at all times, but especially on the road and most importantly, ensured we safely completed the on-road exercises and embedded those safety habits deeply. Fantastic experience: Wat a fantastic place to learn. With amazing experienced friendly and approachable instructors. During the lessons the instructors talk to you not at you, they make you feel involved and put you at ease. I have very limited experience on a geared bike but i got through the day with no bit issues at all. And I will 100% be doing my DAS with proscot.

Fantastic experience: Having already done my driving lessons and passed with ProScot previously there was no question where I was going to go when I decided to do motorcycle training. All I can say is how professional and slick this company is the training I received today on my CBT was fantastic, I began the day a complete novice but instructors Neil and Colin ensured that I left with the knowledge and confidence to progress my riding safely. I can't recommend ProScot highly enough, the facility, the bikes, the pre training learning materials, and the incredible quality of the training provided. Really looking forward to coming back for future training.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience throughout. Ingrid was extremely helpful in the booking process and John’s YouTube video series were superb. These really assisted in preparation for the training. Colin couldn’t have been better, extremely supportive and encouraging yet assertive in his advice, he’s a credit to the ProScot Team. Fantastic experience: Learning to drive with Fred Beck was a pleasure. Highly professional and personable, Fred made working on my bad habits and weak points feel easy. With his positive attitude and patience, he was able to tailor lessons to my needs, and ensure my confidence grew each time. It’s clear Fred is well experienced and has a real passion for teaching students to drive to a high standard. I particularly appreciated his advice on driving in different contexts, to give me confidence to tackle most ‘real world’ driving situations. His car is well kitted out, to help give reference points for manoeuvres, especially the trickier parallel park. I’d definitely recommend Fred to my friends and family- 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: My experience of learning how to drive was very enjoyable. The driving instructor who taught me how to drive was Gordon Elwood and he was very respectful, understanding and patient. He would boost my confidence in my driving capabilities and thanks to his lessons I had passed my driving test first time. I would definitely recommend choosing Gordon Elwood as a driving instructor due to his friendly and professional nature, he will also ensure that the learner will be ready for their test when the time comes.

Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience learning to drive with Fred. He is extremely professional and reliable. He is also a considerate and kind instructor who takes the time to listen to his students. In particular, he was instrumental in helping me to overcome my fear of driving at high speeds and navigating roundabouts. He really helped me to work on my weaknesses so that I could feel confident going into the test, and more importantly, so that I knew what it took to be a safe and considerate driver in future. Fred is a fantastic instructor, I can honestly say I am so grateful to have learnt how to drive with Fred and would highly recommend him to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to a fantastic instructor - David Ellis - I passed my driving test first time and I'm extremely proud of the result and level of driving I achieved. If anyone is looking for an instructor I thoroughly recommend David. He's calm and levelheaded in all situations which helps you stay relaxed and steer off nerves. He's thorough, clear in his explanations, encourages you to be actively involved in your learning to drive experience so you can always ask to do something again and teaches methods that work. If you follow the steps it can't go wrong and that's a huge confidence boost. Thank you David!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely top notch service from ProScot. Did my CBT and direct access motorcycle training and the training was brilliant every step of the way, instructors are friendly and really know their stuff, reception staff couldn't have been more helpful!

Fantastic experience: I am extremely happy with the level of service I had with Proscot start to finish. My instructor Ruth took me through my training for Mod 1 and Mod 2 helping me pass my test with only one minor first go, the great thing about the company I thought is they don’t lie to you very clear proactive instructions and let you know if the time is right for your test. Ruth was very approachable and easy to talk to couldn’t thank her enough. Will pop in when the better wether is back to thank the team once again.

Fantastic experience: I went from CBT to Direct Access with ProScot. I hadn’t been on any sort of motorbike for 20 years and never ridden one with gears. My instructors were nothing less than fantastic. Both the off road and on road training was brilliant and felt confident very quickly that I could obtain my full licence. Please don’t hesitate to book with ProScot if you are looking to learn to safely and confidently ride a motorcycle.

Fantastic experience: Since end of lockdown, I need to find a place to restart my driving lessons, and I’m so glad that I found Michael MacMillan as my instructor. He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. With his guidance every step of the way, I not only passed my driving test, but are confident in my driving skills.
