Fantastic experience: My instructor was a lady called Lucky Bangh, and she was an absolute diamond. She helped me gain back my confidence with driving after taking a 5/6 year break. She was kind, empathetic and very knowledgeable in her teaching, making me feel relaxed during every lesson. Not only did I pass first time with her, I also passed after only 7 months with 2 minors!! If you’re looking for someone who is calm and collected with her teaching but also transparent, honest and diligent, she is the best person to learn with.

Fantastic experience: Long story short I had 2 instructors from different companies my second one have ghosted me 3 weeks prior to my driving test ! I have called acclaim last minute and asked if they have any instructors available and thank god they did ! Booked in for 10 h package with Nadira she has been very helpful and patient with me I was really negative about my driving kept thinking I’m not good enough to pass and Nadira have boosted my confidence I can’t thank you enough she have picked on every mistake I was making to not do it again,without her I wouldn’t have made it thank you for taking me on in short notice and making me pass my test only with 2 minors which were for speed (not going fast enough) because I wasn’t sure (stress kicked in I guess ) thank you all again !

Fantastic experience: Bit of a difficult rating to give, giving my experience, but down to paul kelly I will give a 5* My instructor Paul kelly was fantastic and a massive help, I would recommend him to anyone and everyone that is driving or wants to drive. He has the patient of a saint and talks to you like a person. He filled me up with confidence when I was in doubt. I was in doubt as it was a long road due to DVSA cancelling my test last minute. I passed my test 1st time with 1 fault. THANK YOU PAUL. The office on the other hand didn't fill me with confidence neither did the DVSA. Any cancellations you are pritty much at the back of the que, it took me a a further 2 months for a new test date endless phone calls to the office and DVSA with no care given. I understand I wasn't the only one who had a cancellation but the system to get them back onto the test list is ridiculous I should not of had to wait nearly 3 months for a new test date when I had paid for an intensive driving course. I had prepared for my first test and was ready and calm. But when the 2nd test date come I was getting really nervous took me a while to drop off and rest the night before. The new test dates need looking at, for a cancellation made from the driving school or DVSA should be within a week or 2 at the latest. Different story if I had cancelled. 2/3 months would of been acceptable. Once again PAUL KELLY was fantastic.

Fantastic experience: I’m very happy with this driving school. They offer fair prices, convenient booking, and a helpful website with all the necessary information. I took my lessons with Adrian McKinlay in Leicester and passed my test on the first attempt at the Cannock Street test centre, which is one of the top 10 hardest test centres to pass in the UK. I had driven extensively abroad on the opposite side of the road, but I needed to retake my test in the UK to obtain a British driving licence. Naturally, I had developed my own driving style and picked up a few bad habits. Adrian was extremely patient and professional. He customised the lessons to suit my needs and never insisted on completely changing my driving style. Instead, he made small adjustments to help me minimise my bad habits, so they wouldn’t be marked during the test. After just six lessons, I felt confident driving and parking on the other side of the road and passed my test with only a few minor faults. I’m very grateful to Adrian—he’s an amazing instructor!

Fantastic experience: I completed a 5 day intensive course with Acclaim as I was hoping to pass my test before my theory qualification ran out and had some lessons previously over a year before. Craig was my instructor and he did such a great job, he was really friendly and easy to talk to, would answer any questions I had well and helped a lot when it came to my driving anxiety- I learnt and improved soo much in the short space of time and passed first time with 3 minors!!! Thanks soo much Craig, would 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: I did my lessons with Nicky in the Leicester area and couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. I tried learning to drive years ago under a different company but gave it up after some failed tests, however Nicky really helped build up my confidence and has helped me pass my test on the first go back! Chuffed to bits and couldn’t have done it without her!

Fantastic experience: I had Acclaim for my driving lessons. I passed at the first attempt and it is all thanks to instructor Tony Sykes! His tutoring was brilliant and he helped me to iron out the mistakes I was making. My confidence in driving was low when I started lessons with him, but he soon helped me to build up my confidence, which resulted in passing at the first time of asking.

Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend acclaim driving school, i recently took a 5 day intensive driving course and can not explain how happy i was to pass my test at the end of it. My instructor was so helpful making sure i had the confidence to drive and explaining to me about areas i didn’t know and what i needed to work on. Fantastic experience: Sarah was a brilliant instructor and suited my needs as a nervous driver after having taken a break from learning to drive a few years ago. They were so patient with me and very clear in their teaching techniques. I would highly recommend learning with Sarah. Not only did I pass my test on my first attempt, I was well prepared and enjoyed my lessons. Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend learning to drive through acclaim! My driving instructor Dave is brilliant, he taught me all the skills I needed to pass as well as being a good driver. He creates a calm learning environment and is super engaging and because of this I managed to keep myself calm and collected during my test which helped me pass!! His teaching methods were outstanding and he always adapted to areas in which I needed to focus or work on which I appreciated a lot. Again, I would definitely recommend Acclaim for people who are wanting to learn to drive no matter what stage or ability you have as they will always provide the right instructor for you!

Fantastic experience: My previous instructors were terrible, However, switching to N Valera was a game-changer. With a wealth of knowledge and incredible patience, he transformed my learning experience. His guidance was exceptional, and thanks to him, I passed my test with only three minor. Negative experience: Worst service I have seen so far, their website is managed by a care-home, always fails and charges me for random dates with random instructors, they have no means of contact besides telephone and when you call they don’t even pick up, I suggest you get in touch directly with the instructor that you want and take it from there, do not rely on them to do a professional job.

Fantastic experience: I did a 7 day intensive course with Ben Smart.... he was the 4th instructor i have had after hating driving for four years and he is the best one by far. He made me feel at ease from the first day and how he explains things is brilliant. I passed first time and i have gone from someone who used to shake when they got in a car to feeling very confident. I cannot thank him enough... would recommend Ben 100 times over :-)

Positive experience: 3 star was just because Anthony was a great instructor. But when it come to dealing with the head office then that's a nightmare. They still own me money and I passed last November It's like begging them for your own money. They been so rude and very difficult to spoke to. Also i was with one of the instructor call Mo which I told I was unhappy with but I had no options or change and I end up losing hours as book for 40hours with him. I went back as I heard good things about Anthony, else I won't recommend them if u can't book with this great instructor. Wish I could put zero star. But Anthony deserves his stars

After having a different instructor , I moved to Acclaim - he was calm, patient and helped me so much with my driving abilities - I couldn’t have passed the lessons and support . A great teacher, had a great sense of humour and helped me with my confidence - passed 2nd time with only 2 minors! His explanations and lessons were so worth it - highly recommend for anyone learning to drive. Acclaim is also a really helpful company when booking lessons and tests. Worth the money!

Fantastic experience: My instructor Mo Lorgat has been fantastic. I passed today at Cannock Street with only 2 minors. Mo is a really good instructor. I was quite a nervous driver when I first started learning but I feel so confident behind the wheel now and on the roads & that’s all thanks to Mo’s instruction. I didn’t have a car of my own to practice in, but Mo was really flexible with the lessons and always tried to make availability so I’d had plenty of time to practice before the test. He was always flexible around my working hours too so I could fit lessons in throughout the week. Mo is great to talk to as well, so the lessons are always enjoyable. Thank you Mo for all of your help. It’s been a journey! “Straight back up!”

Fantastic experience: I chose Craig Blockley from Acclaim driving as the man to get me through my driving lessons & test. Craig was amazing, he tailored everything to my needs and supported me throughout the whole process. He made the environment comfortable for me so that I could learn in the best possible way and he got me passed, something which seemed a long way away not too long ago. I would without a doubt recommend him to anyone looking to learn and get their licence.

Fantastic experience: I've passed my test first time around with Amrit Bharj as my instructor & Acclaim. They've made it so easy for me to pick driving back up after not having tested for 4 years due to a move to London. Driving with Amrit is like driving with a friend - he's very understanding of your situation, how you drive, and adapts his teachings to fit to make sure that you're test ready. He's always on time, and never rushes to end the lesson. He was very patient with me and helped me progress past any issues I had, and made the whole experience a lot calmer than it previously had been for me. Would highly recommend going with Acclaim as they're very efficient, and Amrit as your driving instructor as he's the best instructor I've had. Can't thank them enough!

Every lesson, she was calm and collected and would teach something new to keep me on my toes and passed down loads of knowledge! Fantastic experience: I chose Acclaim Driving because my family and friends went with them also they are reliable and reasonable with the prices . I went with Nazir, who was very helpful and patient with me . I made mistakes over and over again but he kept helping me and therefore when the time came helped me pass First time. Also, he lets u know at least a day in advance if he can’t do a lesson and helps to find a better date. I really appreciate all his help and highly recommend him .

I can’t thank him enough honestly, he covers all areas and aspects of driving, revisits areas that you are currently struggling with frequently until you master them. Very efficient. Fantastic experience: My experience using acclaim driving has been amazing! My instructor Sarah was incredibly kind, friendly, and patient. From my first lesson to passing my test, she knew exactly what needed improving on and when I was test ready, whilst making great progress in preparing for my test, whilst helping me keep my calm and I can’t thank her enough! The office at acclaim has also been super helpful and straightforward and in helping me secure a test date for as soon as possible, and also in making payments for lessons/tests. I also love the fact that I can use the acclaim website to book, pay for, and view my test/lesson dates with straight ease. Without a doubt would recommend !

Fantastic experience: Simon is an amazing driving instructor, he is calm, friendly, clear in his instructions and makes driving feel safe and easy. He makes learning enjoyable and has been very supportive throughout the process. The only down side to passing my test is not getting to have lessons with Simon anymore! I have also been really impressed with Acclaim Driving school as a whole, the booking process is very easy, you can always speak to someone if you need to and everyone has always been polite, friendly and helpful. Acclaim driving and Simon would be where I would send my friends and family if they needed to learn to drive, no question about it. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Nazir was an amazing driving instructor, he'd thoroughly explain how you'd traverse through a specific roundabout. He'd draw out the route and explain exactly what to do. He was calm and patient throughout all my lessons I did with him. 10/10 instructor

Negative experience: Worst driving instructor I’ve seen on the roads of Loughborough. Teaching dangerous techniques and very nearly causing accidents. Driving instructor then told student completely wrong thing to do after near miss. 100% avoid. Never seen such bad instructions from and instructor or cars are not fitted with dual controls. Either way avoid!!!! Be much quicker to pass with a safe instructor

Fantastic experience: 5 stars all across. I passed 1st time thanks to Mani. Honestly couldn’t recommend him more, the best instructor. Helped me understand everything I needed to really clearly and was just great all around.

Negative experience: At the end of January I booked a block of 5 lessons. I had never had any driving lessons before and I went with a lady. She cancelled my first lesson, which was no issue. On the next lesson, I didn't even get to drive the car once. At the beginning, she told me she was worrying about her dog, which is understandable. As this was a two hour lesson, and obviously not cheap, I was disappointed when she dropped me off 25 minutes early because she had to go to the vets. I appreciate that she had personal concerns, but it's unfair to drop me off early and I felt as if my kind nature was being taken advantage of. The next lesson I got to practice moving off, and she showed me how that works in the handbook. However, she then dropped me off 20 minutes early, saying she had to get to her next lesson and that it's Acclaim's fault for the way they structure her timetable. I felt that this was again unfair as I was losing money and time. The next lesson was booked for 7:30 and I got a message at 6:50am saying she was on the way but was not feeling well. When she arrived, she clearly wanted me to reschedule, and I got the feeling she is both unreliable and that she didn't want to have me on her list, as she's overbooked. As a new driver, it's disheartening to feel like someone doesn't want to teach you. I changed instructor and told you of my concerns. With my working schedule, I can mainly do early mornings, so I was given a male instructor . I thought it would be fresh start and I was pleased the lesson lasted the whole time. But he didn't seem to want to be there, with it being an early morning and him having to drive from Stamford to Leicester. He gave me no encouragement when I would go wrong and was rude. He took me over multiple roundabouts near Meridian centre at rush hour, something that I was not ready for. He never gave me warning nor explained how roundabouts worked. Due to my inexperience, I panicked and he got cross. We were then hit by a hailstorm which was terrifying, but he said keep driving. When we eventually stopped, he was frustrated with me which made me feel inadequate. I had to hold back the tears. I am new to driving and he should be teaching people properly, not making them scared to drive. For my last lesson, he was impatient with me whenever I stalled. Despite him again getting frustrated with me, he thought it was a good idea to take me on a dual carriageway for more big roundabouts which terrified me and frustrated him more. The lesson was in rush hour due to my working hours, and he again expressed he was fed up with being up early and it being rush hour. At one roundabout he shouted at me and made me feel so awful, I couldn't help but cry. He then topped it off by saying 'you women are supposed to know how to multitask'. My experience has been awful.. I feel so nervous to drive again.

Fantastic experience: It took me a while to get the hang of driving just due to nerves but my instructor, Chris, was very patient with me and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. I passed yesterday so I'm finally off my bus commute but I can honestly say that I'll miss my regularly lessons.

Fantastic experience: Lovely company and driving instructor (Moe Miah) who prepared me well for my test and found time to schedule lessons even if he’s extremely busy. Always gave me feedback at the end of each lesson on what I can improve on and conducted a mock assessment to ensure I was ready for my test. Highly recommend him, one of the best in Loughborough. Fantastic experience: My instructor was super nice and patient. I was definitely pushed to new things that I was initially apprehensive about, but never forced at all. I am now more confident as a driver and super happy I passed first time! Did not think that I could do that at all but my instructor definitely encouraged me. The feedback was constructive and the booklet they give you is so helpful. The support was great and there was a genuine care toward my success from my instructor.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test with Mani as my instructor. He was super friendly and put me at ease every lesson, keeping me calm and relaxed on the roads. He knows his stuff really well, so he has tonnes of tips and tricks to make sure you nail every part of the test. He is an exemplary driving instructor and a lovely guy and I can’t recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: I am so glad I switched to acclaim driving. I had Azra as my instructor and she was the most patient instructor i’ve ever had! Teaches in a calm manner and really pays attention to the lessons. She goes over things that you need work on as well as listening to what you want to go over too, which is great as it goes both ways when learning! I passed first time and I am so happy with the results of these 2 hour lessons.
