Fantastic experience: Achieving my C+E.. class 1 has been a very long time ambition of mine... initially the investigation proved tricky with whom I would use as a training provider as there are many options and so many emails from random companies that are thrown in your face when you begin to investigate. I was lucky that so many friends and acquaintances recommended Essex Transport Training as the best out there, so I quickly engaged with them and completed due diligence comparing them to the market, for me the results spoke for themselves so I made the decision there and then and from that point on and the first contact I knew I had made the right decision. Hayley and Robbo couldn't have been more accommodating. The online training was exceptional and I quickly passed my theory and CPC, I can't tell you how impressed I have been with their support. My practical trainer Mark was simply brilliant and I know I passed my test today with zero faults because of his methodical teaching approach... he knew I would pass when I attended the Ipswich DVSA today because I had all the tools and learning necessary.. it wasn't a fluke. If you want to achieve your class 2 or class 1 don't choose anyone else, these people really are best.

Not a single person had anything negative to say about them, so I decided to enroll with them. They sorted everything out for me, so i didn't have any problems, and I passed on my first attempt. I had the pleasure of being taught by Mark, an exceptional driving instructor. He was friendly and easy to communicate with. He is dedicated to ensuring his students receive their money's worth and makes every effort to help them pass the first time. It is evident that he takes great pride in his work. Mark was always attentive and prompt to correct any errors I made, such as not checking my mirrors or paying attention to road signs. After each lesson, I would return home with his voice echoing in my mind, reminding me to check road signs and mirrors. It was both amusing and effective. Fantastic experience: I trained with Robbo for my car to artic license in 8 days, Robbo is an amazing teacher and an incredibly good guy! All the ETT team are friendly, helpful and supportive throughout the course. I had no idea what I was doing when I had to fill out forms to apply for my provisional license and medical, so Hayley helped me fill them out and put me in contact with someone to do my medical. Overall the ETT team have been the best, I cannot recommend them enough. So if you’re like me and want to get your hgv license, be it c1, c or c+e then don’t go with anyone else. It’s a bitter sweet victory for me now that I’ve passed my test as I will no longer be spending my days learning from Robbo and having great banter in the cab. Fantastic experience: A massive thanks to Robbo and the team at Essex Transport Training. I decided to obtain my HGV Cat C+E licence so I started looking for training schools in my area. As soon as I contacted them and after a very helpful initial chat, I knew I had found the right firm to help me achieve my goals. I can highly recommend the very thorough 8 day course they offer and I'm so glad I did it as opposed to some of the more expensive 5 day courses that are available elsewhere. A no-brainer if you ask me. Speaking of no brains, I was born with a condition where my head is made almost entirely of bone and fat, seemingly devoid of any brain matter whatsoever unless you count the few brain cells that occasionally collide inside so Coach Robbo was facing a tough challenge in getting the necessary information through my thick skull. However, Coach Robbo, instantly recognising my obvious flaws, took on the unenviable task of training me and just 8 days later I passed my on road test and I am now the proud holder of a full HGV cat C+E driving licence and ready to embark on a new career. With hand on heart, if you're thinking of doing the same as me, then I urge you to contact Essex Transport Training asap. Fantastic team, fantastic vehicles, very thorough, professional, friendly, welcoming approach and worth every penny. One final tip for all future potential customers, make sure you arrive in muddy shoes and consume ungodly amounts of fresh garlic every evening and you'll get along just fine! Fantastic experience: What a pleasant company to deal with! My requirement was a bit odd in that having bought a motorhome I wanted a confidence boost so that when I went to pick it up I would not be bricking it on the first drive. Robbo understood this and we went out on a variety of roads and managed to encounter a number of scenarios (almost as if he had planned it!). A very positive teacher and if I worried him at any time he was excellent in not showing it! At the end of the time I felt I had achieved what I had wanted and I would recommend any newbie motorhomers to do the same.

I took the 8 day course which is competitively priced on the market but they over delivered with the service I received. I was recommended ETT by a friend and would strongly recommend them to anybody. My instructor Robbo was brilliant from day 1, I was made to feel comfortable and the course was tailored to my learning curve with constructive criticism, never shouted at and always encouraged. I also met some of the other instructors who were overseeing my coupling and uncoupling assessment and they were also very helpful and friendly. Fantastic experience: After looking and enquiring at many companies where I live in thurrock. Being told ridiculous prices, and thinking I was never going to find somewhere we could afford for my husband to take his training. He came across this company via a Facebook add. So I contacted them, well to say it was the best decision I ever made, was an understatement. Right from the first call I made to Hayley, all the way to the end day with Robbo, I could not fault a single thing. The understanding, the caring family attitude, everything was amazing. Thankyou so much for everything. Now my husband is a trained class 2 driver, and he can now move from warehouse work. With no more night work. You can tell by the pride taken in their equipment that everything is spot on, they trained me to a higher standard than was required so when I got to the tests, it was comparatively easy. The team were incredibly helpful and encouraging from the first conversation right through till test day, and the training left no stones unturned leaving me very prepared and confident for my test. All the admin and miscellaneous stuff is sorted for you, allowing you the time to concentrate on the learning. Practical training is second to none.
