Fantastic experience: A brilliant weekend. Rob took a large group of 14 out, made up of smaller groups, of varying abilities, with 2 of us as novices, and made an epic weekend that everyone enjoyed- we were no longer novices by the end of it!! With astonishing local knowledge, and clearly been looking after groups of riders for some time, Rob has an easy and funny way about him and looks after his customers. If you can take your eyes off the trail you’ll see some epic scenery. You’ll not be disappointed. 5⭐️

Fantastic experience: Terrific day out. First time off road and totally loved it. Rob is a brilliant guide and coach. Really patient with us and helped build confidence to take on some trickier routes. Brilliant knowledge of the area, the bikes and riding off road. Also wouldn't have been the same without G-man for extra support, taking snaps manning the gates and providing additional positivity and guidance. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: If you love motorbikes, want a great day out with a top bloke then get this booked with Rob! I’ve wanted to do a day like this for years, so after some communication with Rob I booked day out. It was brilliant, the bikes and gear are top quality and Rob (and his mate Graham) knows the area like the back of his hand, we did circa 100 miles and I reckon only 10 of them were on road, the rest was some amazing green lanes, small tracks with outstanding views. He took me to a fantastic little Welsh cafe for lunch and a recharge, the staff were really friendly and the food was great!. Rob himself is a quality bloke, on the day I went it was lashing down and I was the only person on the course as had been let down by a mate, most people would have cancelled but Rob still took me out for the full day. That says so much about him, cheers Rob, I’ll definitely be back

Fantastic experience: Brilliant experience - I honestly couldn’t recommend Rob (and his team mate, Graham) highly enough. Rob’s local knowledge is of course, excellent, but just as importantly perhaps, is his ability to pick up individual strengths and weaknesses and offer the advice, reassurance and (dare I say it) guidance on how to improve and develop as a rider. Fantastic experience: Spent a fantastic day with Rob and his No1 Gateman Graham. We rocked up as ‘novices’, and had a long day’s riding through some spectacular back lane routes in North Wales. Rob is an excellent guide and tutor, giving us some hints and tips on our first attempt at off-roading. If you enjoy two wheels but haven’t tried this yet, it is a bucket list event - we rolled up to Rob’s and he sorted all the gear and an action packed day. Try it, you’ll love it ! - great blokes, great bikes, great routes 10/10

Fantastic experience: Awesome day! Rob knows the local trails like the back of his hand. We came in with no previous off road experience and with Rob’s guidance really improved our form by the end of day. It was challenging, but so much fun! Highly recommend a tour with Rob.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic trail ride, fantastic bikes, beautiful location, fantastic instruction, very enjoyable day tailored to suit our ability's. Loads and loads of time to get a good feel of the bike and practice techniques. Some trackday/motorsport days can have a disappointingly short amount of time behind the wheel or handlebars! RM Trail we had hours and hours on the bikes and covered miles and miles and noticeably improved throughout the day. definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic day with my two sons. Rob was extremely professional in the way the day went. From the motorbikes to the routes that Rob led us on. Very good instruction from a very talented man. Will be going again.

Fantastic experience: Nice place

Fantastic experience: I did this last Sept 17 2018, had booked and paid for a lowered bike, been assured that my 29in inside leg would have no problem with the lowered bike I had booked.Unfortunately there was no lowered bike when I arrived. I was also told it was a newbie friendly off road course with everyone in the same boat, as I had never ridden offroad before. Sitting on KTM enduro 450 I could not get either foot on the floor without the bike leaning right over and me being half on half off the bike. The organisers were great and did everything they could to help me out by lowering suspension spring and giving me expert one on one instruction. However a couple of hrs in whilst riding a rutted track I made a mistake , lost control of the bike and was heading down a slope so did what I thought was best and laid it down on its side before gathering momentum. I landed heavily on my left side and twisted my thumb as I landed and was unable to ride further as it affected pulling in the clutch. The organiser was great in getting me back to base as a pillion on his machine, even though I'm a rubbish pillion rider. It was the following morning I realised I had done something serious to my shoulder, no bruising but a lot of pain and restricted movement, 5 months later I am still struggling with pain and movement and have another scan next week to look at healing progress. Regardless of my problems and injury I still give RM Trail rides 5 stars and cannot commend them enough for the excellent riding experiences, the training and instruction the team give. I am the only one responsible for my own safety on a motorcycle, whether it's my own road bike or a hired trail bike and if I thought a non lowered bike would be too difficult for me to handle I should have pulled out of the training ride from the start and I'm sure RM Trail Rides would have been very understanding. If this is something you would like to do I thoroughly recommend RM Trail Rides, they are a great bunch, very professional, know everything there is to know about trail riding, have great routes covering all abilities. If you haven't done trail riding before but would like to, give RM a call and I'm sure they would be happy for you to go along , look at the bikes, try for size etc, get expert advice on which route woute be best to book based on your current riding ability before booking your day(s) with them. I am sure you will then have a fantastic day with a great bunch of guys/girls. I hope to one day ride with these guys again and take my zero off-road motorcycle skills and make at least a little improvement on my last ride. Fantastic experience: Mega Day!

Fantastic experience: A rip roaring rollercoaster ride around north wales with hot bacon sandwiches and superb lemon cake thrown in. Well kept bikes, great kit and full instructions on the day. I've no idea of the area we covered, but it was a mind blowing experience and Rob pushed me to my limit. By the end of the day I was a million times more confident on the bike and have not stopped going on about how much fun I'd had.
