Fantastic experience: Well what can I say. Paul, Matt and Tracey are all amazing, providing me with informative clear information helping me all the way through from start to finish. Within just over a month I’ve gained my full bike licence. Starting with a CBT, mod1 and mod2. Both Matt and Paul’s knowledge is exceptional and they pass this is on very clearly and at a pace that suits, professionalism at its finest. I’ve gained a lot of confidence, skills and understanding of riding. I can’t recommend these guys enough. Thank you so much and I will be popping in once I have my 2 wheels on the road. Fantastic experience: Went here for a bike introduction day and followed by doing my CBT. This was an excellent, thorough and valuable experience from beginning to end. Paul was my instructor - a very knowledgeable, patient tutor, direct and firm when needed, but also warm and encouraging. I arrived having only ever been pillion on a bike, and although an experienced driver, a complete novice rider. Paul started me with the basics, but I was encouraged to get a feel of the bike immediately. There was plenty of riding as well as plenty of theory, and by the end of the introduction I could operate the bike fairly well. This was invaluable for my CBT - as the next morning we were hitting the ground running(riding)! Paul explained everything very clearly, allowed for errors and gave excellent advice to enable me to progress towards the required standard. Everything bike was covered, from protective gear, to the highway code, lifesavers, to hints and tips as a new rider. At the end of the day, myself and one other trainee went out for a good solid ride on the road, with Paul not far behind in radio contact, giving us directions, commands and constructive criticism. We used a variety of roads, faced a variety of scenarios and really got amongst real riding situations. I felt safe at all times, instructions were clear, and at no point did it feel like we were given anything other than the best of Paul's knowledge. I am proud to say I met the required standard for my CBT, and I couldn't recommend Get Cornering enough. The bikes we used were very new, in excellent order and were easy to ride. All gear was supplied and in excellent condition. The facilities were great, including tea and coffee supplied. If you're thinking about using Get Cornering, then do so - you will not regret it!

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience from start to finish, recently obtaining my full Category A license after completing my CBT in July. Alan, my instructor throughout the process, was exceptional. His support, patience, and instruction were invaluable. He equipped me with all the necessary tools and training to succeed. The entire team is incredibly friendly, personable, and passionate about their work. They generously shared their knowledge with enthusiasm. The bikes used for training were top-notch. I had the pleasure of learning on a brand new Kawasaki Z650, which was a great experience. Thank you again for an excellent service. I'm very satisfied!

Fantastic experience: I have today received my CBT license from Paul at 'Get Cornering' Clevedon. I am one of the last of my friends and close family to take my CBT and I have heard many stories of crowded lessons, poor tutoring and disinterested instructors..I therefore felt compelled to leave this 5 star review as I was so pleased with the level of training that I received. If you are reading this review chances are you have done or are doing your research and you will be aware 'Get Cornering' is not the cheapest training available for your CBT but I'm confident after spending a day in their care that they are more professional, thorough and efficient than any of the training my friends and family have received. The saying "you get what you pay for" springs to mind! Whilst we are all eager to get on a bike quickly Paul ensured that the theory side of the training was interesting and easy to visualise with print outs and the information regarding our kit was genuinely informative rather than just reading from a sheet. Once on the bike we were given clear instructions and allowed ample time to practice, repeat and re-repeat all aspects of our training. Only once we felt ready did we progress to the next steps. By the early afternoon we were taking to the road and with the help of a one-way radio we were able to stay in constant correspondence. Remembering that your CBT is not a test the information being relayed is therefore aimed to improve your riding and the intermittent feedback is extremely reassuring and informative. All in all, I was very pleased with my training and will be back in the coming months to complete my full licence.

Fantastic experience: Doing this refresher course with Get Cornering was absolutely the best thing I ever did (after buying a bike, oh, and meeting my wife of course…). Alan was brilliant and had me riding 100 times better in just a few hours. After 28 years off riding (passed my test at 18 then had a very long break), my skills really needed refreshing. Re-taught me how to do low speed manoeuvres, which I was really struggling with, then emergency stops and swerving safely to avoid hazards. Also went out on the roads, positioning for safety, junctions and the like. Really invaluable and I feel much safer. I was slightly worried I’d struggle to ‘get biking’ again, but this really did make it easy. Thank you so much for putting on a great course and to Alan for being a brilliant instructor.

Fantastic experience: Successfully completed my CBT today (thanks, Alan) and very much looking forward to taking the DAS course here. I was bit nervous, as an older student, but the whole team have been very professional and patient throughout, which made for a fantastic day of learning and riding. Thank you, guys.

Fantastic experience: Did my Get Corning course last week and I'm still buzzing! It's fantastic and I won't shut up about it, recommending it to everyone I meet (even if they don't ride...yet). Paul is patient and clear, I've honestly never ridden with such confidence and safely fast before, it has completely changed the way I ride and enjoy my ride. I used to enjoy getting out on the bike but now I'm desperate to, it's become an addiction and that is purely down to Paul's guidance and this course. Recommend it highly, if you're just starting out or are an experienced know-it-all Paul will help you truly fall in love with riding.

Fantastic experience: I’d never ridden a motorbike before and having reached a certain age I felt it about time that I did. Paul and his team were professional and patient in teaching me the basics on their ‘New Rider CBT’ course. I liked the fact that the training was not all compressed into one day so that I had time to ask, what might be considered by more experienced riders, basic questions and let the information sink in. I was made to feel that no question was a silly question. Their motorbikes were fairly new, clean and looked to be well maintained. They also had a fairly large selection of other safety equipment (helmets, jackets, gloves, etc.) which I was able to borrow during the training (useful when you're just starting out). The training was held in their dedicated classroom and in their private training area which was just outside the door. As the training progressed we then moved out onto the local roads before moving up to navigating town traffic. Throughout the training I benefitted from the teams experience to help me learn what I needed to keep me safe on a motorbike, and as a bonus I also gained my CBT certification. Thanks to Paul and the team for a safe and enjoyable introduction into a new world of adventure.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience, set up and trainers are very intelligent and intuitive, giving as much information as possible and helping anyway they can.

Fantastic experience: I did my upgrade from A2 to A with these guys. I chose them because they had good reviews and were the only school that would accommodate me for a 1-day course plus Mod1 & Mod2 in 1 day, which suited me perfectly. I passed both tests all thanks to the excellent guidance of Allen, who not only patiently taught me the essentials for the tests but also explained the reasons underlying all the (very) many scenarios that you need to, for example, do a lifesaver check. This to me is the hallmark of an accomplished teacher, as opposed to someone who is just reading from a script to get you through your licence. He also made a lot of effort to make sure I was comfortable with every aspect of the tests and gave plenty of practice time. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to do their motorbike licence.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend these guys! I wanted to renew a CBT, after longing to get back on two wheels. From the booking process and conversations with Paul followed by the training day with Mark. Everything was easy and seamless. Mark is a fantastic tutor with great understanding of the machines & a wealth of knowledge about road safety on two wheels. When I get some more riding experience in me, I’m looking forward to returning and getting on something a little bigger!

Fantastic experience: Massive thank you to both Paul and Alan for helping me obtain my A2 license. Really professional and attentive instructors who teach you how to ride for life, not just for the test which, as a 20 year old male, is something I most definitely needed. Fantastic experience: Recently did my A2 DAS here and have no complaints at all. Great lessons, great feedback, and good bikes. Started with the 1 hour free evaluation/lesson and was recommended an amount of lessons with no strings attached. There was great communication from then on as I went through the course, which was run by Alan (I hope that’s the right name).

Fantastic experience: I recommend Paul to anyone wanting to advance their riding skills. I joined Paul for an advanced rider’s course over a day. Paul’s instruction was very clear and Paul took the time to explain both road craft and the science behind the how and why bikes handle as they do (in terms even I can understand).

Fantastic experience: Superb training, attention to detail and genuine customer care from Paul at GMTS resulting in a first time pass of both my MOD1 and MOD2 after 34 years off of a motorbike. You are trained to ride a motorbike properly and safely, not just to pass a test which is essential with so many poor drivers on the road today. The training is of a higher standard than the test itself making the test easier than expected. GMTS will not be the cheapest but as with everything in life "you get what you pay for" and will be far better value in the long run.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Paul from Gordano Motorcycle Training to discuss Module 1 and Module 2 training, as I had already completed my theory test and CBT Training Paul advised that he would be able to offer me an assessment of my riding abilities and then would be able to discuss the course that would be best suited for me to obtain my Full Motorcycle Licence. As soon as I met Paul he made me feel at ease, I was some what nervous even though I had ridden before. I thought that I was aware of most dangers and potential hazards when riding. We all want to pass our test as quickly as possible and go for a blast out on that open road but it only takes a lack of concentration, and a lack of concentration from what other road users are doing and in a split second lives are changed for ever. I can honestly say that I looked forward to my training and Paul made the whole experience very enjoyable, Paul is a excellent Motorcycle Rider and Instructor with so much experience which will benefit you greatly when you are out on the road, Paul is constantly concerned for your safety and wants to teach you to ride a Motorcycle so that you are safe out there. I would definitely rate Paul from Gordano Motorcycle Training more than 5 stars, he deserves more. Paul is genuinely a great guy and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who wants to learn to ride a motorcycle, so go on, pick up the phone, give Paul a call.......... you know that you want to. I obtained my Full Motorcycle Licence in August of this year through Paul, I have a smile every time I go out on my bike, it is an amazing experience, I wish that I had done it sooner. Fantastic experience: Really great school, very experienced instructor (Paul) did all the training with my brother and I think got us both to a really high standard.....especially bearing in mind I'd never riden a motorbike in my life!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Paul and GMTS enough, 5 stars doesn't cover it. I completed my CBT with Paul just over 18 months ago, after a 18 year hiatus from my scooter riding days. I completed a two day course which left me feeling confident about riding on the road, and was safe in the mind that I could have returned and taken an extra day or more if I hadn't been. Following a year of commuting and creeping up Avon Way on my 125, I decided to go for my full license. I had no hesitation on who I wanted to learn from. Lessons are not just enjoyable, but very interesting, with every aspect of what you need to know to ride safely backed up by a story or some knowledge that adds context. I was far from faultless in my lessons, and Paul dealt with my shortcomings and mistakes with a calmness that left you feeling it was only a matter of time before it would come together, even right up to a day before my final test. I should also mention the equipment is, like Paul, first class and the bikes have been purposefully selected so they are comfortable and easy to ride. I am now sat at my laptop, having passed my Mod 2 test, looking for my first big bike, and I cannot thank Paul enough for getting me there. Will definitely be back to take on the Get Cornering course once I have my bike!!

Fantastic experience: Having had Paul as an instructor from CBT through to full license, I can thoroughly recommend. For me, who has no other vehicle experience, he was very patient (we must have done multilane roundabouts more than anyone else in history!) and gave me huge confidence in what the bike can do. But Paul doesn't just get you through the test, the rationale behind what you learn for the test was also explained in each lesson which made it so much easier to apply to my own riding (post test) without an instructor or examiner watching over me! Will definitely be coming back for any post test training when I need it!

Fantastic experience: If you want the best – Paul @GMTS is where to come. I came to him to learn how to ride properly. I’d done my CBT at a different school, but I knew I lacked the practical skills to ride safely and effectively. I was a nervous rider and didn’t trust my own abilities because I knew they weren’t good enough (even though I’m a very competent car driver with 25 years’ experience). Paul was recommended to me by a friend and after looking at the GMTS website I knew this was where I wanted to learn. In the year since getting my ticket to ride I’d come to realise that my CBT from Ace in Bristol was not the same thing by a long way as having the right grounding in the essential, basic skills. At GMTS it started with a free, evening assessment on a local ride out with other novices. This gave Paul the chance to observe and recommend a tailored course of learning for me. This involved plenty of off-road slow handling and manoeuvring practice, initially on my 125 and then the big bike conversion, blended with longer on-road riding and safety skills tuition. Throughout it all the key was to practise and repeat the exercises, until it becomes automatic. I can’t rate Paul highly enough as an instructor. His keen eye and long experience will see all your mistakes – even before you actually make them! – but his calm, constructive manner of coaching you through them and on to better ways of riding mean you won’t be in safer hands – or have as much enjoyment - anywhere else. My riding and confidence are so much improved that I’ve just passed my module 2 and got my full, unrestricted licence. I shall miss my lessons and interesting chats about biker life and the universe, but I know that as a rider, I’m far better equipped now for what lies ahead. The open road beckons and the training I had from Paul will stick with me all the way.

Fantastic experience: After a bad experience with a local training school, I found Gordano Motorcycle Training through Google. From the first phone call Paul was very helpful and professional and I passed my CBT yesterday. The level of training throughout was 5 star and I am sure that I will be a much safer rider having learnt with Paul. Over the coming months I will be continuing my training With Gordano Motorcycle Training and l wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Fantastic experience: What can i say, Gordano motorcycle training is a training provider i would recommend all day long ! When i contacted them and spoke to Paul and Laura and everything was taken care of from there, I was invited down for a assessment ride to see how much time i would need, everything went smoothly from there onwards. Training is done to suit you, your not rushed into anything, great selection of new bikes, refreshments on hand too. i am glad to say i passed my full licence with Gordano motorcycle training and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to get onto two wheels. thanks again Paul..
