Fantastic experience: Have just completed my direct access course and can fully recommend Goldstar. From the first point of contact through to final session I really enjoyed the time spent with Piers and Andy (and some fellow riders). I had no prior experience other than my CBT but now have my full licence. Lessons were always instructor & two students maximum. Various routes taken around and about the city…all giving diff experiences but all the routes that can be taken in the test. Both Piers and Andy are very experienced riders and they take the time and effort (and attitude) to help you learn in a fun and encouraging manner. Sessions were very much determined on getting me through my test….not limited to any number so there was no rush. Access to the Mod1 pad prior to actual test. Variety of bikes for the different ‘shaped’ rider. I look forward to returning after a few months for a recap just to keep my skills improving and they are very encouraging towards this. Highly recommend.!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. I booked my cbt here and was nervous coming in first until I was welcomed with friendly smiles and very informative and kind staff. We started with a very in detail safety equipment talk before we moved out into the motorcycles. We practiced in a safe environment with caring instructors watching our every move. We were all given safety equipment which was perfect for us, as well as having a bike suitable for everyone. We then moved onto the road. I was nervous but within minutes the instructors were very reassuring. I passed my test leaving completely confident on the road. I returned the next day because I enjoyed being here and riding here. I thank the staff very much for they're great informative and hospitality. I would highly reccomedn whether you are old or young. I'm 17 and my parents were very nervous until they saw I was in safe hands. I wish I could give this place 10 stars but only 5 are available. I would highly highly HIGHLY reccomedn. Thank you everyone. I wish the best for the future of this place.

Fantastic experience: The guys down here are great, they have both got there heads screwed on and are more than qualified for the jobs at hand. Both of them are very supportive and have the knowledge you need, they are kind and they teach really well. But don't think they can't switch to being firm and serious in a split second. Its serious and they have a good way of translating that over to you and putting you in the right mind set, but all while staying enjoyable. The bikes are always in very good conditions and are well suited for the majority of riders. Whether your doing a CBT or going for your full A, you'll have an enjoyable learning experience with these guys.
