Denovo Driving Tuition has established itself as a leading independent driving school in Peterborough, renowned for its outstanding first-time pass rates and exceptional five-star reviews. The school prides itself on offering a supportive and safe environment where learners can build the confidence needed to drive safely for life, rather than just passing a test.

Fantastic experience: John was a very patient instructor and moved at a pace I was comfortable with. I was really anxious to learn to drive to begin with but I was immediately put at ease. Even when I took a break from driving whilst at University, John happily fit me in for some last minute lessons during the Christmas holidays and was very accommodating with me wanting to practice in my own car. The mock tests were invaluable when taking my driving test and I ended up passing first time with 1 minor fault. I couldn’t recommend Denovo enough!
Congratulations on passing your driving test on your first attempt, Emily. It gave me a lot of satisfaction to see how you developed from that nervous teenager on your first drive, to the confident young lady that had developed safe driving for life skills, when you passed your test. Well done for committing to many hours of private practice to gain invaluable experience while driving your own car, with your dad. Enjoy your driving. Be safe
Fantastic experience: Every driving instructor should be like John from Denovo! Highly recommend him to any learner driver , his expertise and training skills are impressive.Training with Denovo allowed me to pass my test first time with 1 minor fault. Most importantly , I’ve learned everything to keep myself and others safe on the road
Hi Adam Thank you for your review and congratulations for achieving a first time pass with only one fault. It was really good to see how relaxed you were with the examiner and how you were both chatting and laughing together. It was a really good atmosphere in the car. Well done for dealing with the bin lorry safely! Good banter with the examiner when you were discussing the bin men hard at work. Well done for being very sensible and not rushing your test date. You had some invaluable learning experiences running up to test, which means that you will be a safe and responsible driver. Enjoy your freedom and independence, Adam. Be safe out there
Fantastic experience: I learnt with John from denovo and he was supportive and explained everything about driving very well to me. I passed first time with no minors thanks to his instructing!
Thank you for your review Brook. Credit to you and your mum and dad for all the private practice that you did. I will always remember the look on your face when you told me that you got NO FAULTS! Enjoy your driving to work. No more bus journeys now. You know what I mean
Negative experience: Mate I nearly crashed into you next to the Gordan Arms Flyover today just after 4pm! Where you should of given way to the right but you didn't! Not exactly a good example for a driving Instructor!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your review. I'm sorry if you feel you've had a bad experience. I acknowledge your comments and respect your opinion. To give everyone a balanced view, I'd like to confirm that: * I've been driving for 42 years and never had a collision * I've been a Driving Skills Coach for 20 years * I've been teaching full licence holders to pass a DVSA advanced driving test for over a decade Regrettably, I don't share your view that "you should of given way to the right but you didn't" I'm pretty confident that I understand the theory about priority at a mini roundabout and I'm pretty confident that I have a good understanding that if it was necessary to give way, I would have applied that theory. For my own peace of mind I will be submitting the dashcam footage of the incident to a colleague of mine at the police so they can give me a second opinion, in case I made an error of judgement. The dashcam footage will also enable the Police to evaluate your: * speed on approach and what it should have been * your positioning as you turned right and where you should have been * your observations as you took the slip road and where they should have been * your inappropriate and unnecessary use of the horn I'm sure the Police will be happy to offer you some feedback about your driving style based on the evidence from the dashcam footage. To summarise, I found it very interesting that even though we've never met and I've never trained you, and you have no knowledge of my business, you feel it's appropriate to post a one star review, when in your review you stated that you nearly crashed into me. I also found it interesting that of the 11 reviews you've posted, 7 are one star. Perhaps a common theme? If you would like to contact me in person to follow up, I would be more than happy to help you to develop your driving skills. Perhaps a skills development session so you can demonstrate your skills, knowledge and experience and then I can give you some honest feedback about how good a driver you think you are, and the truth
Fantastic experience: I certainly couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor. John is incredibly professional and his patience, encouragement and clear instructions allowed me to confidently develop my driving skills. I would absolutely recommend Denovo Driving Tuition to anyone.
Thank you for taking some time to post a review, Stan. It was a pleasure teaching you. You were a grade A pupil. Polite, courteous, committed and enthusiastic. Never missed a lesson. I will always remember when the examiner said "how do you think you've done?" You said "ok". She then showed you her tablet with the word PASSED and then said "you only got two faults". Happy days! Enjoy your freedom and independence, Stan. I'm sure it won't take you long to adapt to driving the Fiat. Keep an eye out for those slip roads
