Fantastic experience: Thank you apex, I passed my class 1, first time, The staff was polite and helpful. My instructor was Chris, he is a great instructor, polite and patient. Gave me confidence i can do it. I couldn't thanks enough if someone reading my review please say him thanks once again. Suggestion for others: Good Instructor is a very important role during the course if your instructor is not polite or rude then quit straight away. But my exp with apex was great. Everyone was polite and helpful.

Negative experience: Company is fine the instructor i had ...Tim Nash... was awful like a drill sergeant were all there to learn but he treat you like crap he would shout and say your crap you aren't passing .. went to another test centre passed mod1 and mod 2 first time ... you pay good money for these courses and expect to have professional help with patience that is what teaching is about i thought? Just gets in your face and shouts which was quiet annoying... had other people mention his name saying they've been to him and it's all the same like a drill sergeant who just shouts and thinks he's best

Negative experience: Today was supposed to be my first day of school.. Circumstances turned out in such a way that I arrived 45 minutes late and was told that I would not have classes because of being late... No one warned me about this and I did not receive any message or email. In my opinion, this is not right, since at the end of the course there should be an exam, which evaluates not the time spent studying, but knowledge and skills... Very disappointing and very unpleasant!!! The deposit of £300 is not refundable...

Fantastic experience: I passed my cat c with apex back in October 2023. First time, zero faults. My instructor Jim was fantastic the whole week through. He made me feel comfortable and his tuition was spot on. Can’t thank him and everyone at apex for making me feel welcome and comfortable. I also went along for DCPC in November 2023. 35 hours in the classroom went by with ease and tony made the course enjoyable, and as a new driver with acquired rights I picked up some helpful hints and tips. I wish everyone at apex training all the best and I highly recommend this training school to anyone considering doing Hgv training. Thanks people ✌️☺️

Negative experience: Avoid!! At all cost staff didn't make me feel at ease infact rude u might aswell put your money on a park bench and walk off there are better schools out there

Fantastic experience: I seem to have lived at Apex for the last 2 months! I completed the 2 week Transport Managers CPC course at the end of May/beg June. Then over the last 5 weeks my husband and I have completed our 35 hours Driver CPC courses. I can honestly say that everyone that we encountered at Apex were friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly helpful, especially to someone who was a complete novice to the industry. The 'girls' in the office were fantastic I'd like to says thanks to Tony for making the CPC days enjoyable and give my best wishes to Matt who will be running the TMCPC course moving forward. Fantastic experience: I passed my c+e with apex the team are great easy going and all like a good laugh. My instructor was jim he’s a lovely chap and didn’t hang about getting me to we’re I needed to be then I had Tony for 2 days he’s a good lad too I’d highly recommend Apex all friendly and helped a lot and everyone is supportive it’s quite laid back. If I end up doin anything else you cover me in il defo be back highly recommend. Thanks for all the help and support and im sure il be back sometime even for a cpc thanks everyone

Negative experience: Bad experience from the beginning for achieving a 1st Class LGV. People from reception not professional at all and always speaking in polish in front of you instead of speak in english when you are asking a query. Long time to get you back an answer or a quote via email or send to you a receipt /invoice paid. Instructors are not professional with a new learner.

Fantastic experience: The best driving school for HGV at least in Peterborough, very professional instructors specifically Paul a big thanks to him. I passed my C+E test from the first time and this is thankful him and Gabriela (she is working in office). In the future I would like to make forklift license and ADR certificate and it will be only with Apex. The best team ever.

Fantastic experience: I want to say a big thank you to Florin for helping me these last 10 days to help me pass my C+E, you might have been hard at times but I don’t think I would have passed if you wasn’t. I definitely recommend coming to Apex to train as everyone is so helpful especially Florin who will get you through and help you pass first time.

Positive experience: The staff at apex are awesome, however tim nash (motorcycle instructor) could use atleast one course in customer service and a severe attitude adjustment, comes across as very condescending, rude and doesnt listen to the learners wishes. Wont be using again...

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this place to learn as all the staff are excellent and go beyond the call of duty and are so helpful and friendly. I spent a lot of time there ( my being too nervous of the examiners ) but had to take Minibus test in an automatic then we bought a manual bus so had to return for that too. Thank you so much to Jim, Chris and Mark for their kindness, patience and helpfulness and Steve and Dan for their support. They really are a great team xx ps girls in office are lovely too. Fantastic experience: Did Cat C course there. Despite my failure to pass it, which I am to blame for it. I think the instructors there do a great job at throwing you the ropes to lorry driving. They are friendly bunch, giving a great atmosphere to the place.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of doing my C1 training with Stuart, Chris and Tony. All 3 were fab instructors and I managed to pass my test first time with 1 fault! Everyone in the office always made me feel very welcome and were very helpful! Thank you!

Negative experience: Do not use this place! Test people are no good I had my test the test man (james) was saying my driving was really good, I could even tell he was a bit comfy as he had his feet up relaxed looking at the new buildings being built, he failed me on 1 mistake on a roundabout baring in mind I didn't put anyone in danger, my instructor told me he shouldn't had failed me he should've spoke to me about it and if it was that bad of a fail I should've been told to come straight back to the test centre but he had me carry on my drive, honestly people do not use this place!!

Fantastic experience: The team at Apex Training were professional and friendly. I did my C+E training with them and passed first time. I had Steve as my instructor, who worked me harder in training, over and above what was required in the test. By doing this, I knew if Steve was happy with what we had done, it gave me a higher confidence level going into my test. Steve’s feedback was always good and honest, and he was genuine in wanting to get you through your test first time. I think we were as pleased as each other when I passed first time with only one minor fault. A good result from a good weeks training. Thank you Apex and Steve.

Negative experience: CBT/ DAS – Motorbike - To be honest I would totally not recommend this course. I had plan to complete CBT and DAS in apex, however after first stage I will go different school. 1. Bikes fleet – lol you have more chance to find a good working bike on scrap yard than in APEX – First bike we get not even started, 2nd bike was dying all the time and at some point clutch cable has brake. 2. Equipment – I would suggest to wash time to time uniform you giving to people !!!! 3. Yard – you share same yard with lorry driver learners – all the time need to stop and move on site to let lorry do maneuver – spend more time on fixing the bike and awaiting lorry to finish maneuver than actually learning. 4. Attitude – We was hope to learn riding with gears and trainer pushed us to use Mopet so we could easier past – my feeling is that the trainer (Jim?) he business model is to get people who already know how to ride as its easier for him. When having newbies just give moppet instead of actually invest some time for learning – we had to push to have like 1hr conversion to gear after CBT – lol we spend anyway way most of time fixing clutch cable and stand on site awaiting lorry’s to finish. 5. Trainer – to be honest I would defo say that this person have no people skill at all ;/ So if you looking for easy pass CBT and you not willing to learn anything more this training centre is probably for you, how ever if you expect something more for course go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test with 7.5 hours of expert tuition under the very talented and experienced Steve Reddey. Thanks again Steve, you are very professional and a thoroughly decent man as well. I will recommend Apex to anyone who needs training and recommend Steve as number one choice for a driver training instructor.

Fantastic experience: I did my last 7 hour drivers CPC course to take me upto my 35 hours. This was done via remote learning through zoom (due to restrictions brought about by covid), the course was ran by one of Apex's instructors, Mick Lyons, who I personally thought was absolutely brilliant, very knowledgable, and gets the information out there in a interesting and engaging way, which let's all be honest here, cpc courses no matter what subject you're undertaking, they arent exciting by any stretch of the imagination, but if you've got an instructor like Mick who can keep you switched on, get you to engage with discussions and answer questions or provide your opinion on certain aspects, it really does make the 7 hours fly by and feel worth doing... I highly recommend apex for your CPC courses, I only have experience with Mick Lyons so I can only speak for him, but I've heard that all the instructors are absolute top blokes, all have years and years of experience, so in my opinion apex should be your first choice for gaining your hgv licenses and doing your CPC courses, they do it all and will see you right, I'm very pleased with the service provided to me sorting me out with my class 1 and now a CPC course with a special thanks to Mick Lyons for being the guy I were assigned the most and got me through it all, absolute legend to be honest... 10/10 for apex.

Fantastic experience: Recently passed my ADR(9 classes+Tanker and a bonus of 4 CPC training)course here would HIGHLY recommend,brilliant facilities with a great trainer TIM who gives clear instruction and makes the course enjoyable. Also special thanks for Alina Ciubotaru she was very,very helpful.

Negative experience: I have called them for quotes, and i have accepted the quote and dates, i have received on email about it. i have replayed that please give me a call to make a payment never happened i called them they said Nikki Shes on the other line she will gonna get back to me she haven’t and when i called back after a few hours was tell me i was about to call with an attitude. Bad service Feel sorry for the business that losing costumers because of the office lack of work i dont recommended at all !!

Fantastic experience: I did my Driver CPC with Apex over a week and I could not fault the company at all. My instructor Stuart was fantastic and put me at ease straight away. Unfortunately, I didn't pass my driving test at the end of the week and the company I work for got me an earlier test elsewhere. But I couldn't have done it without the knowledge Stuart passed on to me. I thoroughly recommend Apex Training Services. All staff are really nice and helpful.

Big shout out to my instructor Mick Lyons who got me through both C+E and C. I was extremely nervous at the start of both classes but Mick soon calmed me down with his chilled out nature, top instructor, easy to get on with, stays calm, gives you instructions clear and concise, awesome guy. Whoever gets Mick as their instructor then you will deffo pass. Make sure he takes you to the snack van on break. Couldn't of asked for a better experience......thank you all at Apex.....Chris.

Fantastic experience: Hi, I trained with one company and failed three times, went to Apex and they had a lorry that worked, a good instructor (Norman) and a professional manner at all times. Passed first time with Apex. This was on 15th October I passed. Highly recommend them :)

Had Micky as my instructor, was more like being out with a mate, not realising I was taking in everything he’s was teaching. Fully recommend Apex trains centres for HGV/LGV training.

Fantastic experience: I took my CAT C training here last week and passed first time. I also passed my MOD 4 first time last week. That just goes to show that a training facility of this size still manages to train everybody to the correct standard. My trainer Steve was awesome, threw me straight in at the deep end and helped me threw all the tough parts, Whilst at the same time managing to keep the atmosphere a comfortable and amusing one. Hats off to all the staff at this facility and thank you for your help

Fantastic experience: Been here twice now 1st for pcv and 2nd for c1 and both weeks were made to be a doddle by the instructors and staff at apex, highly recommend Norman my instructor I had a brilliant week and the training was made to be so easy and I passed 1st attempt because of that massive thanks

Fantastic experience: It’s hard to imagine a week in a classroom being enjoyable but these guys manage it. Our tutors, Mick and Mickie brought the whole class together and the week passed quickly. Fantastic experience: Excellent staff, affordable fees and all the staff are happy to help and give you valuable tips. I had such a fun week with Steve Redy, he is very knowledgeable and left no stone unturned. By the time I took my test I knew I was ready and it's all up to me. I will recommend them to anyone because even their online training tools are spot on.

Negative experience: I advise everyone part of minority ethnic group don’t do your exams at this centre because in my case I have fail twice 1th with the examiner John and the second time week after with Jamie paying another £300 what they do they found any simple rubbish mistakes and the cones when you start your reversing test it is mark by them when should be a mark where to put the cone In place i have been robbed and discriminated. Four the last 4 years a have been driving multiple drops with 7.5t simply go and take your test in Northampton it is what I am going to do. Do you have apex examiner? On your facility mark on the ground painting where the cones should be placed for different test categories with different colours that help every one treat the same way

Fantastic experience: I have used Apex for a number of years, starting with my C1 (7.5t) then C (class 2) and today C+E (class 1). It's not often you can honestly say something is faultless, but Apex definitely are. From my initial contact right through to signing me off, they are compassionate and helpful. Special mention has to be made to Steve Reddey, who was tasked with taking a very nervous me through my class 1. He is professional, relaxed and made the whole training course very enjoyable. Fantastic experience: I have used Apex for many different reasons for our business and can highly recommend from learning to drive to Transport Managers CPC and of course everyone's favourite Driver CPC. I feel a special mention for Tony whom took a recent CPC course I attended and all our staff compliment on the way he delivered the course.

Fantastic experience: Completed my CPC course (35 hours ) over 5 alternative Saturdays . I did not know what to expect but from day one I felt that I was being taught by a very professional and competent company who were up to date on every aspect of the course . A lot was covered over the 5 days with excellent tuition from 3 very good teachers. I found Mick Lyons stood out for me as a very likeable person who delivered the course in his own unique manner. He made every training day interesting and involved everybody throughout the day making it a great learning experience, there was good banter and along with the learning, he alo made it fun as well with plenty of laughs, touching on so many subjects. It takes a special person to hold somebody’s attention for 8 hours without boredom setting in well done Mick, you’ Got it off to a tee, will recommend you to anybody needing your sevices, oh and thank you !!

Fantastic experience: Recently sat 5 days of CPC training. We had miserable Mick who was the most passionate trainer you could ask for. I saw a group of hardened Lgv and Pcv drivers sit and moan that cpc was a waste of time on Monday morning, to almost... almost wishing they could do some more, Mick makes you aware that he puts the reputation of us the driver's , Apex and road safety above all else and will have everyone participating. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and it's down to a great group and a great Trainer. Apex a word of advice don't lose that man he is the utmost professional.

Negative experience: This company dont deserve a star but I can't comment if I don't give them a star !! Don't be fooled by this company if you want to learn how to drive a HGV find a different place to train! I feel like I've been robbed and I'm still waiting for them to get in contact with me after I made a complaint about the instructors that just sit there and let you drive without proper guidance and also the instructor that hit me with a rolled up paper when I was training.

Fantastic experience: Took an hour long assessment and Apex recommendation was for me to have a five session course for my class 2 hgv. However, I opted for seven sessions, thinking that it made better economic sense if I could pass first time. I passed first time, so well done to my instructor Mick. Cheers Rob

Fantastic experience: It's been a few years since then bit I've done my class 2,my class 1,my cbt and full bike license all with Apex.i met several of the instructors and all were brilliant. Friendly,helpful,patient and great at their job. I passed all tests first time except for my class 2,which I passed second time around.

Negative experience: Hi all. I write this from my friend account. I failed 7 time's class 1 test. Not just me friend of my he need 8 time's. I heard a lot about. Last time been failed in yard by reversing she didn't told me that and take me for a drive test. I am driving big vehicles all so artic trailers all so class 2 vechicle . Never had accident. I took 1h driving assessment with over training centre. My driving was brilliant. A trainer x form Apex he told me a lot about. Think people just afraid to say true . Sorry my bad spelling.

Fantastic experience: I was here doing my lgv cat c license I had David as my instructor for the 5 days training and his humour is brill very funny but he got me trained to the standard I needed as I passed first time he had more confidence in me than I did and said I could do it florin took me for the pre drive on the day of test and gave me some extra pointers and was there as soon as I passed excellent training service provider would highly recommend them and can't wait to do my c+e with them in the future. Great work guys. Well today 19/9/19 passed my c + e and again had a great instructor norman bayliss very funny guy and really enjoyed my weeks training with him and Steve who took me on my pre drive on my second test now I can get my career going in full speed thankyou again guys you all work extremely hard keep up the great work.

Fantastic experience: Passed my module 1 test for an A2 licence with Tim here and I can not recommend this establishment enough I did an intermediate course and was riding to test quality in just 2 4 hour sessions. Passed with 1 minor first try! A+++++
