Founded in 2004 by motorcycle enthusiast Mike Poad, MMT Motorcycle Training has grown from a small team of three to become the premier motorcycle training school in South Durham and Cleveland. With 12 staff members and 10 qualified instructors, including five Cardington-approved specialists for Direct Access courses, MMT offers comprehensive training tailored to all skill levels. As an officially Honda-approved training school, you can trust in the highest standards of instruction and safety. We are strategically located just ten minutes from the MPTC Test Centre, ensuring that your time is spent mastering test routes rather than commuting. Beyond training, we provide a full range of services including motorcycle repairs and maintenance by factory-trained technician Graeme Ward, MOT preparation, and a shop for riding gear and bikes. Whether you are looking for a CBT, Module 1 & 2 preparation, or advanced riding skills, our five dedicated training facilities and access to the actual test centre give you a significant advantage. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! A great set of friendly instructors and a good set of Honda bikes. Did my CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 all in the space of 3 months. A very satisfied customer :)

Fantastic experience: Great service and advice. Extensive stock of clothing at very reasonable prices. Really worth a visit. As a full licence holder I haven't used the training but I am aware of their superb reputation. MMT also service/repair bikes and prep for MOT. Think Bike - Think MMT. ⭐
