JDS DRIVING SCHOOL has been established since 2008 offering manual only driving tuition throughout Darlington. Judith is friendly and a very patient instructor who provides quality lessons for learners wanting to pass their driving test 1st time with confidence.
JDS DRIVING SCHOOL has now both male (Graham Lawson) & female (Judith Atkins) Instructors.
Graham was previously an examiner based in Darlington for nearly 15 years.
Also offering a range of refresher lessons for fully licenced holders in all weather conditions.
JDS DRIVING SCHOOL Instructors support the Driving Vehicle Standards Agency “safe driving for life” campaign.

Fantastic experience: Judith is a fantastic driving instructor who has recently taught my daughter to drive. She is highly skilled, patient and encourages her learners in an empowering and nurturing way. My daughters confidence has grown massively learning with Judith and I would recommend her without hesitation and have done so to some friends whose children are now having lessons with Judith and Graham.

Fantastic experience: Having Judith as my driving instructor was an all-round lovely experience. I found the environment created was a safe, stress-free, helpful one, in which I learnt the rules of the road. Her patience and understanding allowed me to make mistakes and find my feet within driving, and I wouldn’t be the confident driver I am today without her. I definitely recommend Judith as a driving instructor to anyone interested!!! Thankyou so much Judith!!!

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing time with my brilliant driving instructor Judith. She taught me one of the things I love most which is to drive and I will never forget it. I would highly recommend JDS driving school to any young people if you want to become a good and safe driver. :)

Fantastic experience: I've hit the jackpot having Judith as my driving instructor. Learning to drive with JDS has been a great experience, one that I will cherish. Fantastic experience: Both Judith and Graham were very patient with a genuine desire to get me ready for my test. They were very flexible when it came to lesson times and very mindful when it came to things going on outside of lessons. Great teachers would highly recommend.
