Fantastic experience: I was dreading my 5th CBT and thought I'd be bored but not at Bensons. I learned more than ever before, the team were so engaging, Yaz was incredibly supportive and for the first time I feel confident I could do MOD1 and 2, which of course I'll be booking here once I've done my theory test. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and give you everything you need to firstly put you mind at ease but also get through the training and tests. Fantastic experience: They really did teach an old dog like me new tricks. Very welcoming, friendly, smiling, laughing people, they can get rid of your nerves really quickly and help you relax. Loads of tuition, advice, information and thankfully loads of patience. Don't bother looking anywhere else as there is no point-just book a lesson and you will see. I will remember for the rest of my life: Mirror-Mirror-Lifesaver look. Turn off the indicators and don't take the short route across roundabouts. Thanks Yaz, your the best.

Fantastic experience: CBT / Bike Training - I've completed my CBT many times at various places, this training centre stands out. Tests have always been Hard, on Yaz's advice, I decided to pursue my "Big Bike" license here. The staff are exceptional in their training. The external tests are V challenging do not expect it to be easy! A massive thanks to Andy for his professional and specific guidance.

Fantastic experience: I am 16 years old and was not sure what to expect today but it turned out to be a great day the personality from the instructors was the best and made me feel really comfortable like i already knew them. My cbt instructor today was yaz and what can i say she knows her stuff and she taught me how to be safe, she was really nice and also easy to talk too. Overall 5/5 stars from me and i recommend this place to anyone that wants to get there cbt done great people and a great time thankyou to yaz for teaching me to be safe and everyone else involved. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Demi, Andy, and everyone at Benson Motorcycle Training highly enough, I would give more than a 5 star rating if I was able to. They are so patient, kind, informative, knowledgeable, and have such a love for everything motorbiking. I arrived at Benson's with absolutely no motorcycle experience I was wanting to start a new and exciting chapter in my life. I had the great pleasure of being trained by Demi. She has such a wonderful, warm, kind nature, and she made you feel that there was nothing that she wouldn't do to help you. "Thank you, Demi, for your time, care, training, and great cups of tea." Andy and Demi were a great team together, endlessly laughing, chatting, and had great ways of teaching that help's you retain all the information and knowledge you need. If you want to become a newly fledged motorcycle rider, do your CBT with Benson. It was the best thing I could have done. A big thank you to everyone at Benson's.

Negative experience: The owner is rude and sarcastic and not helpful at all. If it’s your first time doing a CBT and you’re paired with someone more advanced than yourself you will more than likely be sent home half way through as the instructor is eager to get home. Only good thing I have to say is Demi is extremely helpful and considerate. Other than that, useless place.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at Benson doing the DAS, Andy was a great instructor! Passed Mod 2 today and very much looking forward to getting out on the roads with a new bike, can't give enough credit to this place. Highly recommend if you're looking to either start your motorbike journey or progress it further, enjoyed every second of it. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I should have left this review weeks ago! Did my CBT here with Yaz as my instructor... Omg what a fantastic day, sun was out and Yaz made sure I made it through the day making it fun but serious. Andy and Yaz have a great working relationship and the banter works making you feel included. I'll be doing my DAS here in the next few weeks, no point in messing about, gonna get it done and enjoy the freedom. Thanks Yaz Mark.

Fantastic experience: This is the second time I’ve taken my CBT with Bensons. I let it expire so had to do it again. Second time round was even better. Yaz our trainer was incredible. Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT here back in November and took my DAS course in Feb/March. Andy is a great instructor, adapts to your skill level and keeps tuition calm and relaxed. There is no pressure and you learn at your own pace. I can't recommend these guys enough if you're wanting to get your motorbike license.

Fantastic experience: I used Benson for my Mod 1 and Mod 2 training, 3 days intensive training also. As a novice rider I found Andy’s tuition fantastic. He is incredibly patient with a lot of experience, giving me great confidence. I felt at all times we went at the pace I was comfortable with and the constant feedback allowed me to improve a lot quicker than I expected. Andy’s communication throughout the process was also exemplary and he kept me updated at all times of what was going on. I would have no hesitation in recommending Andy (he does car lessons also!), now I just need to buy a proper bike!

Fantastic experience: Bensons motorcycle training - CBT One word sums up my experience, brilliant. I had not been on a motorcycle for over 40 years and only decided to try and get a full motorcycle licence as it’s on my bucket list! The CBT training is obviously the first step required in this quest. It had snowed on the morning of my training and then rained, so you can imagine how bleak it was and I half expected the course to be cancelled. Our instructor, Demi was the complete opposite of the weather, being bright, happy and positive (and very patient) throughout. Demi was assisted by Andrew and he also helped make the experience a positive one. Despite me being more than a tad apprehensive at the start of the day, y the end, I felt completely comfortable and confident at the end of the session, despite the poor weather conditions. This was down to the excellent and comprehensive instruction, guidance and information given. Thank you Demi and Andrew (and my training partner) for making it such a great experience. See you in the new year (when it’s warmer ) for my full licence training.

Fantastic experience: I renewed my CBT with Bensons in June 2016, having originally completed it in 2014 with another provider elsewhere in Essex. I'd barely ridden during the intervening 2 years and was effectively still a novice. I would recommend Bensons unreservedly for their rigour, professionalism and care. I completed the course under Martin's tutelage, but I'm sure Andy, his colleague, would have been every bit as good. Each part of the syllabus was clearly and thoroughly explained, with particular emphasis on safety. The practical off-road parts were patiently and helpfully rehearsed, with ample time to practise. I'm quite sure Martin would not have permitted me to attempt the road ride, had he not felt I'd be safe among the traffic. As it was, his excellent teaching made sure I was ready. In my view, nervous parents of teenagers looking to learn to ride shouldn't hesitate to choose Bensons. In my view they are very good indeed. For information, I am a 48 year old professional man, with a family. This is my first, and probably last, internet review. But it struck me as important, given the need to be safe when riding.

Negative experience: Not very good at all. The instructor stopped every 10 minutes to have a cigarette. And when we got onto the road, I told him that I couldn't hear him through the radio. From then on It was him constantly swearing at me. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Excellent! First timer on a motorbike and got my CBT. Patient and helpful instructor!
