Fantastic experience: With no prior experience on a motorbike, I did my CBT in December of 2024 and then my 6 day Direct Access training in January 25 (6 day course comes with 2 extra days on a 125). I had a great experience, Simon is a great and patient teacher + an awesome guy. I managed to pass my MOD 1 & MOD 2 first time. Throughly enjoyed my training and would recommend Rider Training to anyone looking to learn how to ride a motorbike.

Fantastic experience: Another one of the many willing to vouch for Rider Training. Recently conducted a 5 day DAS course with no prior experience other than a CBT. Simon is a great trainer. A few hiccups popped up as expected but Simon always tackled them with great patience and professional, resulting in first time passes on my Mod 1 and Mod 2 for an unrestricted A licence. I cannot recommend them enough, having conducted my CBT with another provider, it is clear that Rider Training is head and shoulders above the rest. I'll definitely be sending everyone I know there way in the future

Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience, I conducted my CBT with Steve and he explained everything and allowed everyone to take it at there own pace with his assistance along the way. I conducted my MOD 1 and 2 training and Test with Simon. He was very informative and guided me through the whole process. He is very skilled and knowledgeable so if you listen and take on what he says you wont have any problems. I passed all the tests first time and couldn't be any happier. The bikes supplied were in good condition and very lovely to ride and the location is very easy to get in/out Thank you Simon and Steve

Fantastic experience: Just here to add to the positive reviews! Did my CBT through to mod 1 & 2 with Steve and Simon. Great experience and lots of laughs. The weather was about as bad as it gets at times, wind, rain, floods… but somehow he made it fun. Simon is a very calm instructor and immediately gave feedback on my low speed stuff, which changed the game for me. I flew through mod 1 with no issues due to his methods and ways of teaching. For the Mod 2 he managed to get me out of my own head (not an easy task) and took me on a test route which finished 5 -10 minutes before my actual test. This lead to the mod 2 feeling enjoyable and not at all stressful. I didn’t have time to panic and when I rode off with the examiner, it just felt like I was riding with Simon again. Straight through mod 2 without any minors - and I’m certain that is down to his training methods. I travelled a reasonably long way to do all my training here, and I’m so pleased I did. 100% the right choice for me and I’d think, if you’re still reading this, Rider Training / Simon will be 100% the right choice for you too.

Fantastic experience: I'm glad I chose rider training in Brackley for my CBT and DAS. Simon has been consistently encouraging and sets you up to not just pass your test, but safely enjoy your motorcycle license for years to come. Fantastic experience: Highly Recommend Simon at Rider Training!! I spoke with Simon on the phone and we decided that a 4 day, intensive course would be best for me. He sorted everything from my theory, CBT, to 4 days of practice sessions to prepare me for the MOD-1 and MOD-2 including providing the bike and riding gear needed. He gave easy, clear instructions and advice which helped me sail through the whole process and pass with flying colours. Couldn’t be happier with how everything went. Fantastic experience: I could not recommend this riding school enough! I recently took part in a 5 day DAS course where I obtained my full Cat A licence. Simon is absolutely brilliant, very thorough and patient as an instructor, with a wealth of knowledge and experience. He guides you through the course so you have minimal worry when you get to the tests. Brackley Riding Centre is certainly the best in the midlands, and anyone looking to start this journey should look no further.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience thanks to Simon! After reading reviews, I expected a pleasant time, but it turned out to be truly exceptional. Simon is a wonderful instructor with great patience and knowledge. Follow his advice, and you'll be in good hands. I'm thrilled to have passed my Full A on the first try, especially with minimal riding experience beforehand. I would gladly do it all over again (though thankfully I don't have to!). It was totally worth it for me to commute for this extensive course almost 50miles . 5 stars! Smashing !

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant. Simon and team made the whole experience very relaxed and fun. Me and a friend did direct access and the whole learning process was well structured, clearly based on massive amounts of experience but with a very modern and up to date attitude. The bikes are nice too, and not just battered old rides like some schools seem to have when you see them at test centre etc. Simon was very patient with a perfect balance of instruction vs coaching. Clearly very road safety focussed but with a practical application for real world riding. Would highly recommend to anyone learning.

Fantastic experience: I had no previous experience of riding, but through Simon's excellent instruction I passed both test elements first time in less than 5 days of training. The training itself perfectly prepares you for the tests, whilst teaching you to ride safely on the road. It's also great fun! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I started my journey to obtain my unrestricted bike licence back in April 2022. I wanted to take a phased approach as I wasn't a confident rider at first. Simon was very understanding and patient and I passed my A1 licence after 4 days training. After a year of gaining confidence riding my Suzuki 125, I felt it was time to go for my unrestricted bike licence. I undertook another four day training course with Simon and gained my unrestricted bike licence following that course. Simon's motorcycles are excellent and his knowledge is superb. He has a professional approach to his teaching which he conducts in a calm, consistent and friendly manner. All in all, Simon is a superb instructor and I highly recommend his services. Fantastic experience: What can I say.. I started my training with rider training less than 2 weeks ago, I booked a 4 day session with Simon to do, big bike CBT mod 1 and mod2 for my full category A license. His approach to teaching is laid back, calm and very easy to understand. He tells you everything you need to know and in a way that’s easy to pick up. He makes bike training a laugh and enjoyable even when you are biting your nails with nerve because you wanna pass and be on the road. The courses are by far the best value around, I could have travelled less distance for my training but simon had been recomended so I travelled that but further for training and it couldn’t have been more worth it! No matter what background you have in motorcycling Simon at rider training is the man you wanna see! I really couldn’t commend him enough. 2 weeks on and i passed my practical test today! First time!! all because of Simons training! I couldn’t thank you enough!!!

Not only are the instructors top quality and tell you exactly what your doing wrong and how to pass. But you also get to do it on new, top quality motorcycles which are simply the best machines for the job

Fantastic experience: If you are looking to take up riding a motorcycle on the road, this is definitely the place to get yourself booked in for training. Simon is an outstanding instructor and I enjoyed every minute of my training. From the facilities, the training bikes to Simon himself, I could not fault one single thing. I completed mod1 & mod2 with rider training in 4 days. What I found really helpful on mod1 training is Simon trains you in a smaller space to your actual mod1 test site. I think this was a real help as I think you gain far better bike control. Once you then arrive for the mod1 test the space is larger and makes things easier I think. Thanks again Simon! Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of taking both the CBT course and the 4 day full course instruction on 650 CC bikes at Rider Training, and I cannot recommend this company highly enough! From start to finish, my experience with them was outstanding. I went from never having ridden a motorcycle to becoming a fully qualified road user with just the training provided in 5 non-consecutive days, and for that, I will be forever grateful. Steve provided me with the CBT course, and was a decent instructor. Rider Training made the entire process of learning to ride a motorcycle seamless, from booking the courses to taking the tests. The equipment they provided was top-notch, and I felt completely safe and confident throughout both courses. Additionally, the entire team was highly professional and approachable, making the learning experience both enjoyable and effective. Simon provided me with the 4 day full course instruction on 650 CC bikes, and I have to say, he was absolutely incredible. He was highly knowledgeable and experienced, and his instruction was second to none. Simon took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, and he provided practical feedback that helped me improve with each lesson. Under his guidance. Fantastic experience: I did the direct access course over 4 days, plus my cbt and theory. Steve the CBT instructor is a lovely guy with patience of a Saint, I then did 4 days with Simon, 2 of the days being my mod 1 and mod 2 tests, fantastic instruction from start to finish, with a real passion for safety rather than doing enough to get you passed, if your looking to do any sort of motorbike training, these are the guys for the job! Fantastic experience: Great value for money. Simon is a quality trainer who values safety much than cash!! Completed my CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 (A2) and was able to upgrade two years later to my full licence with another mod 1 and Mod 2 (A). Went from zero experience to an A2 DVLA pass in a couple of days with this training .

Simon did a wonderful job training my son Max on his Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests recently (first time pass!!!). Fantastic experience: I did my Direct Access with Simon and they are brilliant. Simon makes you feel at ease and gives you a confidence boost when your struggling with your nerves. I failed my Mod1 first time at no fault to the training (just clipped the cone). He quickly got me rebooked in and I passed both my Mod1 and Mod2. Dont go anywhere else. The bikes you use aswell are new not beaten up things like ive seen elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great relaxed and professional training given. My son and I loved the day and we passed our CBT. The countryside is lovely to bike around and we didn't feel stressed or pressured while learning at a steady pace. Fantastic experience: Just passed the CBT and, opposite to what the other lady said, Steve is a nice (funny) person! Of course he is strict and keeps repeating what you have done wrong. You must learn and stop doing such mistakes in order not to be a hazard to yourself and other road users. They only have one day to evaluate and teach you, it's a great responsibility. I had a great time after I got more comfortable with the bike, it was definitely so much fun! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: After having experienced a few other motorcycle training centres, I cannot praise Simon enough for the quality of training, his patience and the relaxed training eenvironment.
