Fantastic experience: Andy took on teaching our son to drive after a poor start with another instructor. Genuinely helpful, friendly and built a good relationship with our son in the lessons to aid his learning. The result was a first time pass. I genuinely couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Negative experience: Andy is a good driving instructor. However, I had A LOT of lessons cancelled on me. Don’t get me wrong in the lessons he teaches well and is good to get along with but in September he cancelled a lesson and I haven’t heard anything from him in weeks! I feel so let down and disappointed with this…especially at the last hurdle. I have been told by a friend of mine that he completely cut contact with her brother too, he doesn’t even reply to follow up messages about more lessons; you get nothing back. It’s so disappointing for his students.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a driving instructor for my son and contacted ACC Drive. From the very first telephone conversation with Andy I found him to be very professional and patient - I had a lot of questions!! My son had some experience of driving before but stopped during lockdown. He eventually went back to driving 3 years later and Andy instantly put him at ease and increased his confidence. Started lessons in July, got a cancellation in September and passed first time. I would 100% recommend anyone looking for a driving instructor to contact Andy and get their lessons booked in with him.

Fantastic experience: Andy not only managed to help me pass my driving test first time but he made it an enjoyable experience. I went from hating driving to loving it in only a couple of months. He was patient with me and tailored the lessons perfectly to my needs. I came to Andy with the goal of passing before I went back to uni, which was a goal I didn't think possible. However with the confidence Andy gave me I now have my full driving licence! I could not recommend Andy more, he is the perfect driving instructor.

I had a different instructor before Andy and was really struggling then I started my lessons with Andy and it made a huge difference! Fantastic experience: We used Andy for driving lessons for our 17 year old son. Andy was incredible and completely put our son at ease. He worked at our sons pace and only booked lessons when needed rather than for the sake of it. Our son passed his test today for the first time with zero minors!! Fantastic experience: My daughter has recently passed her driving test after being taught by Andy, who also taught our eldest daughter. He has been a fantastic instructor, making her feel confident behind the wheel from early on. My daughter found Andy to be very kind and approachable, and she enjoyed their chats whilst out on the roads. With a backlog of driving tests nationally, Andy bent over backwards to ensure he was available for my daughter to pounce on a last minute test when it became available. I have recommended Andy to many friends, and he will be back to teach our son in a couple of years.

Negative experience: Andy cancelled half his appointments and then didn't make himself available at all for the actual driving test dates. He even said this when we asked him if he was available for a test, for the third time! "....so it's a no can do from me"... Hilarious. Save yourself hundreds and avoid this instructor. We had to rely on another instructor to step in and help our daughter pass. He took about £1500 off us and was really hard work. Don't bother.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Andy enough, he’s a legend! He ensured I was fully prepared for my test and made sure I will be a safe driver upon passing. I have the confidence that I can now drive safely without any worry due to the amazing advice and assistance he grants on lessons. Great instructor and a pleasure to learn with!

Fantastic experience: We found choosing a driving instructor quite a daunting prospect, after all you wouldn’t usually allow your daughter out in a car with a complete stranger! However, both ourselves and our daughter quickly felt at ease with Andy and his style of teaching. He has taught her how to be a safe, confident driver, in just a couple of months. Fantastic experience: My daughter has recently passed her driving test having had lessons with Andy since December. From the first time she drove with him, she was put at ease and made to feel confident. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed being taught by Andy; he was kind, patient and she always found him easy to chat to. From my point of view, his rates were reasonable and his communication was excellent and very prompt. We would have no hesitation in recommending Andy or his company - younger sister is already itching to turn 17 so she can be taught by him too.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Lee enough he has been teaching my 17 year old son to drive since November, had to stop due to lock-down.. lessons resumed in March , Lee automatically contacted us with new appointments, as my son works full time he went above and beyond to fit his lessons in. Last week we managed to book my sons driving test for 18 November 2021, Lee gave us advice on a cancellation app which i used and this brought my sons test forward to today 22 June. Lee only had a few days notice on the test and he re-arranged everything to get my son there this morning . Lee is a brilliant instructor who has given my son confidence and support throughout his lessons and has also given me feedback throughout. My son loved his lessons with Lee and said "Lee is not only a brilliant driving instructor but a really nice and patient man" MY SON PASSED HIS TEST TODAY Thank you Lee

Fantastic experience: YIPPPEEE I passed!!! I took my lessons with stuart. He is fantastic in what he does as a driving instructor. He made me feel comfortable and at ease when driving, even at times I doubted myself but he always made me feel so comfortable when I was driving, he was so thorough and made it easy for me to understand driving. Even when I made mistakes he would help me to rectify them straight away. Which helped me to understand the mistakes I made. He was so friendly and such a happy person. I've had instructors in the past and took many lessons but felt I wasn't improving and wasn't learning much. With stuart every lesson I was learning and my driving was improving. Even the days I doubted my driving stuart would help me. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. If anyone wants an instructor on auto honestly he is the best. I passed first time round with him being my instructor.

I was lucky to get Stuart as my Instructor. I must confess, he is such an amazing instructor. He is very thorough, hard working, prompt, dedicated, diligent, friendly, funny and pays attention to details. I am so delighted I changed my mind at the last minute to pick him as my instructor, that was the best decision ever. I am very happy that i passed my test at FIRST ATTEMPT, all thanks to him. He made me always looked forward to my driving lessons as he is so full of life with good sense of humour.
