Fantastic experience: What a fantastic day I had at the Bicester venue. Lovely cars, amazing instructors and a challenging stage. Lots of in car time on the skid pan and the rally stage itself, and a really comfortable outside viewing area (plus lounge with refreshments) for when others are in the cars. Great for beginners but also for those with much more experience. I can’t praise The London Rally School highly enough!

Fantastic experience: The best rally experience I have done in my 3 years. 2 of my dream cars. The instructior was great, track was very, very good with a good variety of bends, including a skid pan. You were allowed to do handbrake turns, which many places don't allow, facilities were decent, cars ran pretty well, although the escort seemed to have a bit of an issue with third, mentioned by a few of us. Driving time was great also. Only thing that could be done to improve a bit, in my opinion, is make it a bit cheaper. Very worth it though, would go again thanks all.

Positive experience: I concur with Paul Stewart’s comments. I bought the Monte Carlo Half Day Rally experience at a cost of £250 as a birthday present for my partner - what a disappointment it was! We turned up at the car park - no signs about where to go. Eventually directed by some random person to walk around the side of the building and wait. When this same individual re emerged we were asked to sign some forms. I was asked if I would be spectating to which I said , yes, I guess so. I was promptly charged £10. That was made clear on the website so no issues with that, but I got absolutely nothing for my money- no hospitality of any kind, no offer of a cup of coffee, no one even spoke to me to tell me where I was expected to sit / stand for the best view. What was the £10 for? Mark the instructor seemed quite personable and knowledgeable but I think my partner was lucky if he got 20 mins in a driving seat! We sat/ stood around in the freezing cold having to watch 5 others complete the circuits before it was his turn. I was hugely disappointed - not the experience I was hoping for as a special birthday present. For that money I expected a much more personable service, perhaps the skid pan and circuit drive happening simultaneously so there was much less sitting around and some effort made to make participants ,and spectators, feel welcome- I would not recommend this experience.

Positive experience: I was contemplating giving 3 stars. Why? I was bought a voucher for a birthday present. So far so good. Actually booking a day was not a great experience. I had thought there might be a calendar showing available dates but oh no it wasn’t that easy. After a few months I managed to arrange a date. On the day there was no agenda at all and it just seemed like at times that it was just being made up as they went. I discussed the day with some of the others who were attending and they agreed that an agenda would have been useful. The instructor Mark was great and very relaxed. Also we were not offered any tea or coffee which to be honest is something that should have been provided. The cars were very tired and all had some issues. The Escort was difficult to start for some of the drivers and the Subaru seemed very underpowered and didn’t actually have the typical sound of the boxer engine. The amount of time spent driving was at most 27 minutes and this was us being generous and I suspect it was less than that. It is up to you to decide if that is good value. There was also a lot of time spent hanging around as there were seven people driving and I thought online it mentioned 5-6. I am giving it 4 stars as I still enjoyed driving.

Fantastic experience: Absolute adrenaline rush! Spent the full day yesterday with Mark giving 2-on-1 tuition to myself and partner. Neither of us had any experience. Mark explained it all and then got us driving on the skid pan, then track. We both absolutely loved it. What a rush. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved my 2-day residential at LRS. My instructor Mark was friendly, inviting and knowledgeable and really pushed me to get the most out of my time both in and out of the car. I still have a lot to learn, but even over the two days I noticed a marked improvement in my confidence behind the wheel, which translated directly to better times on the course. It was an absolute pleasure and one of my favourite experiences ever! Thank you Mark and the team at LRS. Hope to see you all again soon!

Fantastic experience: Took my first steps in rallying with my BARS test and a days one-on-one tuition at London Rally School. All in preparation for a seasons rallying in a Historic GPA 1.9 205 GTI which should get its first outing (with my wife co-driving) in November. Plan is compete in the Roger Albert Clark in 2025. Will be back for testing.

Fantastic experience: What a great day! Blasting through a forest track in a Mk2 Ford Escort sideways! Thoroughly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Excellent day of one to one rally coaching. The surroundings are ace, the stage is tricky, tough and tersting but perfect for learning on. The cars were solid and well prepared. Mark, the instructor was superb at conveying suitable instructions and pushing me to improve without being pushy. I'm sure I will be back and I can't recommend the school highly enough.

Fantastic experience: My son and I recently competed in our first stage rally at the Abingdon CAR-nival. A big thank you to Jonnie Wigmore and the team at London Rally School for helping us complete the Motorsport UK Rally License (BARS) Exam earlier this year. We'd encourage anyone wanting to start rallying to benefit from their expert training and guidance!

Fantastic experience: 5 of us went yesterday. We are all experienced at trackdays, I have done a bit of rallying 25 years ago. We had a great day. Probably best driving experience I have ever done. The instructor Mark was so friendly and supportive and throughout the day constantly encouraged us to push harder and go faster. It was a breath of fresh air to have this attitude. We will be going back next year to build on what we learnt. I would recommend the experience to anyone considering such a day.

Fantastic experience: My husband took our son for his 18th birthday treat. They had a half day session with just the 2 of them so lots of driving time for them both.2wd & 4wd. Very impressed with the tuition & encouragement given .They had such a brilliant morning & gained skills that really all drivers should be taught,-learning how to control a skid not the "do-nuts" tho they were also super fun. They have come home buzzing .& will probably be back for more. Highly recommend this to anyone interested in driving.

Fantastic experience: Had the pleasure of participating in the "Monte Carlo" half-day rally experience at LRS this past weekend - absolutely brilliant! Two runs in an Impreza followed by one final session in an old Escort RS2000, I was genuinely gutted when my time was up and could have carried on all day. The instructors are brilliant, really knowledgeable and made the whole event good fun. Then at the end I was taken out for a passenger ride to show me how it should have been driven I'll definitely be looking to return at some point in the future, not sure much else is going to give me an adrenaline fix quite like this did!

Fantastic experience: Had the most fantastic day absolutely loved the whole day. Had it bought for my 50th and really enjoyed. Saving now to do it again at the other track.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant time at LRS, arrival was smooth and straight into the theory along with the day's structure. Instructor (Mark) was a good laugh and brilliant to talk to which only enhanced his teaching. Really knowledgeable and had a perfect balance for pushing me to get better and keeping me controlled. Some damage occurred which was swiftly repaired by the instructor and owner, meaning literally zero lost time for me which I really appreciate. All the other staff were helpful and polite. Honestly cannot really ask for more from a school hope to be back in the future!

Fantastic experience: I attended a extended rally driving course last month and it was without a doubt one of the most fun driving experiences I've ever had! I drove the Ford escort and the subaru impreza, both were great fun and completely different experiences. I was lucky to have Mike as my instructor for the day, who was very knowledgeable and a fantastic tutor! To summarise this an excellent day out for anyone who enjoys driving and would like to give rallying a try, I will definitely be returning again soon!

Fantastic experience: My daughter & I spent the whole day at the LRS yesterday driving RS2000 & WRX. The instructor Mike was excellent, making all very comfortable and ensuring max fun was had. The PRO drive at the end was insane. Brilliant day. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: A great day out. Profesional tuition, you ll come away with a good understanding of how to drive a rally car. We had lots of fun and Will go again.

Negative experience: Good and bad, improvements needed. The good - Generally good fun driving the cars and the instructor was a nice guy. You get to push the cars pretty hard which is great. Hand brake turns are addictive! The bad - No drinking water or refreshments. One portaloo to use with an empty hand sanitiser. Not much tuition really, just mainly tell you when you do something wrong, but don't teach you in advance. Not much structure, more just go for it and see what happens. Tyres pop every 5 minutes due to damaged tyres being put on the cars, cars are also pretty knackered (wouldn't bother with the insurance), every panel is pretty much dented on every car. We ran out of tyres on our day session so had to use a different escort which had a broken gearbox. Course is a bit confusing to learn, just random tyres put on an airstrip, could do with more tyres and better track markers so you can focus more on driving rather than not getting lost. No overalls available so you get covered in dirt. Quite a long day waiting for your turn to go. Full day rally experience translates to around 50 minutes of driving and 7 hours of waiting. 50 mins driving is about £7 a minute so quite an expensive experience with that in mind. No presentation or certificate as expected. Overall could be great, but need to put some money back into the company to have some better quality kit/tyres/track markers and some sort of basic facilties to improve on all the bad points above.

Fantastic experience: Got a half day rally car experience for my 40th Birthday and was not disappointed. The experience was at an ex airfield near Worminghall. The place is basic, porta cabin, but you don’t need much. It’s advisable to pay £15 for an insurance thingy, I guess just in case you rolled the vehicle. We had a talk before going into groups with an instructor, who looked after a single group. There were 5 in total in ours, so it didn’t take too long to get to ‘your’ turn. You need to wear a helmet, and they have a lot in all different sizes. The cars were great, you could see they’ve done ‘battle’ with dents in them.. lol.. poor cars. Our group had a guy called Dan, who was clear in his instructions & luckily loud enough through wearing a helmet & the noisy road surface. It was challenging. I paid a bit extra to have an in view dash cam & glad I did. You’re given a mini sd card & they put it in a dash cam. So you get to take home your footage straight away. There was a little bit of waiting around whilst others had a go, but it was funny to see cars hit tyre barriers & backfire It’s amazing how many tyres they go through a day! I drove 2 (slightly different) Subaru’s & an ageing Ford Escort. I forgot what it was to drive a car without power steering Thank you. I’d really recommend the experience. I wish I could show the videos here. For me … I loved it.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant day out. We booked quadbiking and we all absolutely loved it. Our instructor Mark was great. He was extremely patient with all of us. He was constantly keeping an eye and making sure we were all ok despite also being on a quadbike. Would definitely recommend, we had so much fun.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best rally day experience available, the setup with the Escort RS2000 and the Subaru give you a great feel for the old and the new. Mike is a fantastic instructor, he very quickly gets a feel for how competent the driver is and lets you drive accordingly, his instruction is superb, he really knows his stuff, this is second time I've been here, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a taste of rally driving, keep it up gents

Fantastic experience: Excellent day of Rallying and Motorsport. The team was wonderful and friendly, always encouraging you to have fun and push harder. Our day involved some tuition before jumping straight into the Escorts and Subaru for some practice handbrake turns, drifts and cornering before then tackling the rally stage for some timed runs. The Rage Buggies and high speed quad biking through the woods, fields and big jumps was a great finish to the day. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Just excellent. Ian was our instructor and couldn't have been more professional, friendly and encouraging. Got fairly hairy in torrential rain - especially once we switched from the Escorts to the Subarus, but even with zero visibility and rivers of rainwater, the emphasis was on fun, learning and getting as close to your limit as comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic experience: A really professional team, fantastic venue and all in a great setting. Mike is a great instructor and whether you are wanting to try something 'wild' for the first time or you already have years of experience and just want to polish your skills, he will put you at ease and you will come away having had a great day and having learnt a lot too.

Fantastic experience: I had a 2-hour 1 on 1 rallying lesson with Mike and absolutely loved it. In that time I learned to drift, handbrake turn, skandi turn and drive two totally different rally cars through the course/stage they have at the site. It was challenging, exhilarating and just great fun. Mike's tuition was excellent as well and I just loved the whole experience. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic day as part of a group rallying on the off road circuit! Having never done this before was slightly nervous, however had great tuition and really enjoyed myself. I hope to visit this venue again!

Fantastic experience: The 1:1 tuition was fantastic. Things really start to click into place with extended times behind the wheel. A morning in the Escort followed by the afternoon in the Impreza also emphasised the difference between the two driving styles. Mike is a great instructor - fantastic day.

Fantastic experience: My wife went on a Rally course today (08/10/2019). She thoroughly enjoyed it. Brilliant tuition, excellent staff. She learnt a lot. Thanks for everything Mike, you worked wonders. (Bit jealous as my wife won't shut up about you!!!)

Fantastic experience: Excellent day only problem is you don't get very long for your money and everything is shared so you have to wait for all the other group 10laps on the buggys around a 200 meter track the quads are 125cc and you get around 20 mins only the instructer was sound and a good laugh just didn't get enough time on stuff.

Fantastic experience: Awesome day with a great instructor. We spent a full day driving an RS2000 and a Suberu, both cars were great and when they were damaged by our driving, they were fixed within minutes. There are refreshments on site with free tee and coffee. We will definitely be doing this again!!

Fantastic experience: Superb experience doing a half day 1 to 1 tuition, driving the RS2000 and the Impreza. Lovely venue, nice little forest stage to hone the newly learnt skills, top notch instructors who are passionate and knowledgeable. Highly recommended, will go back!!

Fantastic experience: Wow just returned from a Brill day the grounds leading to the rally area are absolutely stunning the staff are friendly welcoming and absolute dynamite at what they do . I was a bit of a coward so sat in with an instructor and it's a experience a wont forget wow wow and more wow if you ever get chance to do this event please do it you won't regret it a BIG THANK YOU for a fantastic experience

Fantastic experience: Set in the beautiful Bicester countryside on a picturesque farm, the London Rally school offers one of the best rally experiences on the market. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the service provided was nothing short of fantastic. Had a lovely day out with the family and it’s without a doubt one of the best experiences I’ve had on four wheels. Will definitely be looking to set up future rally days with friends and family. Massive thanks to Jonnie our instructor for an epic day out, will be seeing you for another rally day sooner than later!

Fantastic experience: I have aspergers so things like this aren't easy for me, especially engaging with new people but the chief instructor is so easy to get along with, doesn't apply pressure and explains everything you need to know clearly and quickly. Huge confidence builder for me and so much fun! So grateful for this day.

Fantastic experience: Wow. I’ll and try and break this down as best I can. First, facilities. What a fantastic building to run a school from. Charming farm house, welcoming staff, good cup of tea whilst going through the theory. I got to learn on both a low grip grass track and the main gravel stage. Perfect learning environments for putting into practice what is being taught. Secondly, Ford escorts. If you like rallying and rally cars, I don’t need to say much more. Great car to learn in Third, Iain, the chief instructor. I think we were on a similar wave length given our back grounds, but taught in a manner that clicked with me so I made what I think was decent progress. Broke the stages of the technique down into clear sections that made it easy to understand what was required to make the car behave in the desired way, ample time to practice them, then move on while still incorporating the previous lessons. Safe to say I’m hooked and looking to book more tuition in the future. Thanks!!!!

Fantastic experience: Clearly London is in their name to help with SEO as they are nowhere near London, however the activities are fun and the site has decent facilities overall. Probably better for rally driving than quad biking but still worthy of checking them out if you're nearby and want some adrenaline filled activity.

Positive experience: Mixed feelings about my day spent at the London Rally School in Worminghall. Overall, I did enjoy my day, but I won't be doing it again. Good points - excellent rally cars, lots of fun to drive, especially the 206 Cup Car which is highly modified from the original road car. Good instruction on the whole - learnt a lot about performance handling dynamics of FWD, RWD and 4WD vehicles. Also the instructors are happy for you to slide the cars around, to spin and to learn from mistakes, rather than preventing spins before they happen. Had a good laugh when the instructor took me out for a spin (literally) in the Impreza and drove it for all it was capable of. Neutral points - many mechanical faults occurred with the cars, partly due to extremely bad weather (it had been snowing and when it melted, some puddles were very deep). There were many flat tyres which were repaired pretty quickly. Other things could not be fixed on the day. A wheel came off one of the Escorts while someone was driving due to a wheel hub failure of some sort. One of the 206s had a brake line fail, so the car lost all braking. This left 2 abandoned cars on the runway throughout the afternoon runs. The rear suspension on one of the Imprezas seized so the ride was super harsh. Also both Escorts were down on power as the engines were getting flooded by the puddles. Bad points - my experience did not represent good value for money in my opinion. £330 for about 50 minutes driving time between 9:30am-5pm. I was waiting around for absolutely ages between having 7-8 minute runs in a car. Even without mechanical problems with the cars, the day was still planned to run until 4pm. For pure fun factor, I definitely had a better time when I drove a GT86 rally car at Brands Hatch - 40 minutes driving time in one go on 2 mixed surface stages for £170. I appreciate my LRS experience cost more as I was driving 3 different cars which were all better modified than the GT86s at Brands Hatch, but honestly for fun factor, for me my experience at Brands was so much better.

Couldn't be more helpful and the level of instruction was top class, we all came away feeling like better drivers gaining more confidence in over all car control. Positive experience: As I don't drive I and I'm not a car person I was a bit nervous about going here for an experience day. Everything was well organized and our instructors were patient with us and explained everything clearly. They helped us to get more confident and by the end we were doing stuff we'd initially thought we couldn't attempt. I enjoyed it much more than I'd expected.

Positive experience: Fab experience overall. My instructor was calm and humorous and clear with instructions. Watch out for the rip off upgrades tho'! I supposedly paid on arrival for extra laps and a different car but then all the other participants were given a free upgrade. My request for a refund was blankly refused.
