Fantastic experience: Had the pleasure of having my CBT road ride with Paul. He made it feel like a fun ride out with a mate, and overall felt confident and calm throughout the training. Could not recommend this place enough.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I recently attended the introduction to motorcycling/taster course here and we absolutely loved it! It’s the only place we found offering this kind of course near us (about an hour’s drive) and it was worth every mile. Cal was incredibly patient, especially as it was my first time on a bike. He made me feel completely at ease and gave me the confidence to enjoy the experience. Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming—it made the whole morning even better. We were so impressed that we’ve just booked our CBT with them and can’t wait to come back. A big thank you to the whole team for such a fantastic introduction to motorcycling!

Fantastic experience: Me and my partner did our CBT together this week and managed to pass with help from Paul and Martin. They were brilliant, gave great advice and put us both at ease. Paul did the on road practical with me and mad me feel very confident. We will be doing our mod 1 & 2 with these guys in the future. P.s sorry Martin, I forgot about not touching the front brake when the wheel is turned, and very ungracefully toppled over

Paul and Martin were both fantastic friendly instructors who knew how to put us at ease while delivering great, clear instructions and advice. Easy going, relaxed atmosphere with great humour, attitude along with serious care and patience for the students at all times. Couldn't be happier with the service. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great set of lads. Done my CBT with Paul (old man!) Excellent knowledge, patient and give great encouragement. When I feel ready to do my mod 1 & 2 this is definitely the place I’ll be doing it at. Get my bike gear from here too, main man really knows his stuff! Cheers for the Greggs sausage roll too

Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT here on the 11th of March and had a very enjoyable time at this training centre. I had never ridden a motorbike before and now I feel really confident in riding. I had Instructor Chopper guiding me through the CBT and he was very supportive, especially during the road rides. I would also like to thank Neil on helping me on my bike taster session. I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff on being so friendly and supportive. I would definitely do my Mod1 and 2 here.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience today extremely happy with the training and facilities provided I did the CBT course at £200 which includes a brand new helmet which they will size up for you or £130 if you have your own helmet already after todays experience I will definitely be doing my module 1&2here. Neil the instructor was very knowledgeable and had a calm, encouraging and genuine personality. This was my first time ever on any motobike and a geared one aswell so I was very nervous. I was able to learn alot from Neil such as bike controls clutch controle and how to do basic maintenance on a motobike. I passed my CBT first time thanks to Neil and his professionalism, knowledge also his teaching style. I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by BMTC from helmet sizing, booking the test , doing the test Thank you Neil :)

Fantastic experience: I went from complete novice having never sat on a motorcycle to full A class licence within 6 months: CBT, 4 months riding 125, then mod 1 & 2 in quick succession, passing both on 1st attempt. Cannot recommend highly enough. This is the place for your motorcycle training.

Fantastic experience: It's really unsurprising that this place has a full 5 stars on Google reviews. I did my CBT there today, and having never ridden a motorcycle before I was a little nervous, so luckily I was fortunate enough to get Martin as my instructor. I feel like his instructing was above and beyond what I could expect. Everything was clear and easy to follow and I feel like he didn't waste any time on things that I and the other pupil already knew, or had become competent (enough) at. He asked for my motivations in doing the CBT to see what my goals are after it and mainly checked if I was going to go for the full licence. As I said yes, he made sure to keep mentioning very useful bits of information specifically for when I go to do the tests later which was an extra nice touch. Also, on the street riding, he gave me very useful guidance on which gears he was using and when to countersteer to follow optimal lines in corners etc, so I feel like a have a very good gauge now for how to ride and what gear to be in for all common situations, I definitely feel confident enough to go ride on my own (though I do want to work on my stability and ability to ride at very slow speeds first). He's a really nice and interesting guy all round. In all the course lasted just under 6 hours, everything went really smoothly and was extremely enjoyable. I'll definitely be choosing them for all my future training and tests + deffo buying my bike there after that experience. Proper chuffed!

Fantastic experience: What a great team! I did my CBT training and then after riding for a year i did the unrestricted A motorcycle training. Faultless service, decent modern bikes and when i had decided i was ready to do put myself up for the test i had the Mod 1 sorted withing a fortnight and Mod 2 another fortnight later and at probably this busiest time of the year.. Fantastic advice throughout. Brilliant i highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: If anyone is considering doing their cbt, mod 1 or mod2 with bmtc I urge you don’t look anywhere else. great team of people who couldn’t be better at what they do was personally trained by Paul and chopper in all 3 and they were brilliant, good sense of humour and make everyone feel very comfortable. The office and admin staff are fast and friendly and respond usually within a few minutes of sending them an email (thank you carol) passed everything first time and don’t think I would of without their training. Aswell as this I even received a handmade card congratulating me on passing my final test which is a little thing they didn’t have to do but still did and a very nice sentiment so thank you everyone at bmtc 5*

Martin taught me how to ride a motorbike in the morning and then accompanied the bike ride in the afternoon, for which my instructor was Paul. Fantastic experience: Very easy to deal with and great tuition. After having some experience on the road after my CBT, decided to go for my mod1/2 late last year. Great advice and tips while riding a bigger bike, went through everything that I’d encounter on tests and practised any areas I struggled with. Easy to arrange tests and got me through them both. Thankyou ! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I went from having never a bike half way through September to having my full bike license half way through December, with all my training through here for CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2. The staff are excellent and supportive and the training is really well paced to match your skills as they develop. The instructors have mastered the balance of giving enough instruction to get going and letting you learn for yourself with guidance during the training. The bikes are new and well maintained. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I was rather nervous about attending my CBT today, I was welcomed by the staff and was able to help myself to Coke and Water which I thought was really nice. Did the first indoor module of the CBT, ran through bike gear etc. Went outside and looked at the bikes. Got on the bikes in the off road zone and was run through all the needed knowledge, Martin(?) Was absolutely excellent. Really clicked with him and his positive reinforcement and methods of training. Made me feel comfortable on the bike. Got to go on the road and again really reinforcing the positivity when things were done well, overall I really enjoyed my day, worth every penny to feel as welcomed as I did today. Thank you very much!! If you're considering it, book it!!! Just do it!!

Fantastic experience: A brilliant place to learn to ride! I started with my CBT back in August and passed my mod 2 just before Christmas. All the staff at the training centre are very friendly and very experienced, I passed everything first time thanks to them. If you are looking for a place to learn I could not recommended this place enough. A friend recommended them to me and I would do the same to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT with Chopper on the 24th Nov. I'd never ridden a motorbike before, the instruction from Chopper was excellent. Built my confidence no end! I'll be back to do my Mod 1 and 2 next year! Just to update I have since passed both my mod 1 and 2 both Chopper and Paul once again were superb! 10/10

Fantastic experience: I took my CBT, mod 1 and 2 recently and passed, so just want to thank Chopper, Paul and all at BMTC for the excellent experience passing my test. The team including Carol and the office staff are very experience friendly and professional, puts you totally at ease through all the stages of the test. Its a good feeling Also the card I received congratulating me on passing my test reinforced my decision to take my test with Brighouse Motorcycle. Fantastic experience: I did my training with these guys including theory/ mod 1 / mod 2 all passed 1st time. All modern bikes within three years old Paul was the instructor who is a very professional and experienced rider he goes the extra mile to help / show you how to pass your tests aswell as show you how to ride in a good safe manner on the road. Couldn’t recommend these guys more.
