Fantastic experience: Had a cbt today and passed with the help of the amazing instructor John, he explained terms in a way that was understandable and funny which made the experience more enjoyable and less serious, any mistakes he corrected without making a massive deal out of it which helped the nerves and told me what I did right, can’t wait to get on the road

And all the instructors I've had along my DAS journey, have all had there individual ways of instructing. Not once have I been confused or had to really question anything to understand what was being taught. Would recommend them a 100% .

Negative experience: This company just rips you off. Sent my son with this company to do a CBT course, paid £275. He wasn't feeling 100% on the day but just a little sick and still wanted to go. The instructor sent him home later that morning, made out all we had to do is speak to the booking team to book him on another course but when I did this they're saying I now need to pay another £275 to book onto another course because otherwise " the business would be at a loss" I wouldn't mind if we had wasted peoples time or never even turned up to begin with but we turned up and was sent home two hours later for "safety" reasons and now need to pay more money jsug so the company isn't at a loss. Absolutely disgusting!

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT today with Jon Howells out of Wigan, really informative, helpful & concise with his instructions and advice, with so many years experience behind him it's really enjoyable listening to the way he approaches hazards, general day to day traffic and possible situations you may come across whilst on the road, it's in depth combined with humour and jokes which makes the whole learning experience that more enjoyable, felt really safe and confident under his guidance so much so I've passed first time without any prior experience on the roads.. Can't thank Jon enough as this now enables me to get back and forth to work without spending a fortune on Uber & Public Transport and not having to wait and see if a bus will even turn up! Thanks again Jon!

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT with Tony (big T) yesterday out of the Wigan branch and from start to finish it was a great experience. Tony is an excellent instructor who you can have the banter with but he takes the course very seriously and will teach the correct and safe ways to advance. I will be booking my DAS today and going for my full license, thanks Mate.

Negative experience: First of all I would like to say massive thank you for instructors: Nick Macmillan, Graham Cook, Johnatan Hough and John Bilbrough - only these gentleman's believed in me and knew I can ride a bike, I just need some how stop anxious. Thank you, I've done it now, I've PASSED MY MOD2 WITH DIFFERENT SCHOOL and best ever BIKER and INSTRUCTOR help!❤️ He teached me, explained and believed in me! Now, negative things, my experience was awful. I have registered to do DAS in Wigan site, but ended up in Eccles as school never had lessons or test timed from Wigan in a timely manner (why? As they have more sites,than they have instructors to do the job). - One of the instructors Shami-Lee comments awful (his girlfriend still can't ride a bike after few attempts) - he is not mindfull at all, don't think what he says (some comments can stick and beat the test anxiety for pupil will be much harder, even he is doing very well on a training pad) Shami-Lee aswell need less eat during the teaching process (is this professional?)and spend more time with students - everyone learn at different speed. - The facilities in Barton (MOD1 training pad) awful, no toilets, only straight line to learn, nothing similar to test centre. And it is only 3h... Shared with another student.. You have to travel from Eccles to Barton training pad than go back as well.. so you get maximum 1h to learn before your test (Please keep in mind, other schools does training in a test centre three times longer sessions before your actual test, and it is included in you Training package, and It is not more expensive - even cheaper) - Facilities in Eccles: dirty, cold and no paper/plastics cups in a classroom so you can't have a drink during lunch time. High vis: dirty,broken zips, helmets: dirty and smells. - Abbie - the call centre manager, never answer phone straight away (she will call you back but never know when), she booked my test but not booked it as she should! She send me a confirmation email for the test but not booked fully with DVLA, same thing she did with another guy in a 2 weeks time! Very little thinking "outside the box at all", I booked my test myself quicker and told her what she need to do next, to make sure I can go to do test as quick as possible. - The school let people to do the tests even they are not ready, why? As they will fail and come back to do the test. Looks like they have good profit from taking you on the test. On the end, never ever again I would come back to this school, never recommend them to others. There plenty other schools which support you, understand and help.

Fantastic experience: Did a taster session with JB, myself and one other new rider. JB was not only informative and professional throughout, but also an absolute gentleman and a genuine delight to work with. I was a little wobbly on the bike at first but he gave clear and concise instructions to get me going, and I was on my way in no time. The site was spacious, the bike was tons of fun, and there were no shortage of cones to dodge around and points of reference for navigation. Plenty of jackets, gloves and helmets on site and all were clean and of high quality. Fantastic experience. My only regret is that we only had 2 hours! I definitely recommend doing the taster session, and I'll most certainly be returning for my CBT in the near future. Cheers!

Fantastic experience: Having never rode a motor bike before i felt very safe with jay teaching me how to ride it and getting used to it and giving good demonstrations on where i was going wrong and how to fix them. On the road I felt better riding with jay also talking through everything and giving clear instructions to follow. Would recommend to anyone wanting to start riding

After completing the course Tony let me test out zx650 and let’s say that I’ll be booking back in soon for my A2.

Fantastic experience: I’m 18, and I completed my CBT today and got my certificate. Tony was my instructor and he was amazing. I was essentially brand new to being on a moped, let alone a road. I was shown carefully each step of the process, and Tony made sure I understood each point before moving on. We went through each element, securing my knowledge and developing my skills. Tony was happy for me to go on the road, and i was also happy to do so; at the end we completed a 2 hour road ride. He made sure both me and the public were safe at all times, whilst encouraging good habits and doing his best to help me secure my CBT. I couldn’t recommend these guys and specifically Tony enough. Had an absolutely amazing day, Tony was very kind and very knowledgable, I was comfortable for the whole day, and secured my CBT thanks to his training. If you’re even slightly considering a motorbike or a moped, I highly recommend booking your CBT with RJH. Thankyou again to Tony and RJH for an amazing day and top notch training, I’m now comfortable on a bike and can travel safely on my own.

Fantastic experience: Went here for a 1 hour taster on a moped today, it was fantastic, the instructor was very helpful and taught me the basics, if I were to do my CBT in the future I would definitely come here!

Negative experience: I have to give one star because it wont let me give zero, my step son had a cbt booked and woke up that morning sick, they wouldn’t cancel his appointment or rebook it and he has lost the full amount, because he add to pay in full, a disgrace of a company. Do not book anything with these if something comes up you will loose your money.

Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT on Saturday 5th December with the excellent guidance from John Howells. Having completed a taster day with RJH back in June 2023 this gave me an understanding of what I would be doing on my CBT and a little knowledge of what the bike would feel like ( cheers Graham ) . I would highly recommend doing the taster day before any course. Back to the CBT, John with his relaxed teaching manner, professional, knowledgeable and generally a nice man John gave me the confidence and guidance to make me feel at ease on the bike, within the training yard and more importantly on the public road. I loved every minute from arriving to ending my CBT. Having drove around Wigan in a car most of my life, being on two wheels gave me a different perspective of being on the road however, being on a bike I had a very big smile on my face and it felt like Christmas had come early with my inner youth feeling recharged. Fantastic staff, customer service, equipment ( jacket, gloves and helmet provided) great motorbikes and communication from all at RJH. As a newbie rider I would highly recommend RJH as a motorbike training centre and from my experience it’s 5 stars from me. Cheers,

Fantastic experience: Tony and John have done the impossible and brought me from unable to even set off without paddling about with my feet to driving on the road for 2+ hours. Dealing with traffic and lights, junctions, roundabouts, tight turns, hazards in the road, the lot. An emotional roller coaster but Tony kept me on track the whole time and got me through it. Don't go anywhere else. Bash. CBT done. Time for a pint.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT beginning of last month with Nick, it was a great experience I've never been on a motorbike before that didn't take me two seconds too figure it out with good guidance, it was a great atmosphere with allot of banter, I've now been riding a KTM duke close too a month now and find it easier than walking too ride, I wouldn't essitate too get booked in the instructors are great and it's a good laugh, definetly looking too get my full licence through these guys!!

I started the day not feeling very confident on a bike, but thanks to the patience and dedicated 1-1 training from the instructors, I passed in the afternoon! Fantastic experience: My CBT was delivered by Roger at Wigan and was an absolute pleasure. The on-lot sections were very well instructed and encouraged me to develop what I needed to be safe on the road. The road ride itself was really fun. Roger's instructions helped me pick up new techniques even during this section. Roger is the type of passionate and informed instructor you need for things like this. He made the whole day enjoyable and I passed with him first time.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT 02 Sept 2023 with Roger at Wigan I'm 69 and First time on a bike in over 50 years, so a tad nervous. Anyway thanks to Roger, who I have to say as a former driving instructor myself was excellent. All went well, slow manoeuvring was the hardest part for me, which to be honest came as a bit of a surprise. On the road was great though. We did the full 2 hours incorporating Saddle junction and a busy Wigan town centre. Highly recommended and worth every Penny. Looking into further training before my test, even though it looks like a doodle on the your tube videos. Everything looks easy on you tube though.Lol.

Fantastic experience: Had my CBT with Jon and Allison, they were both excellent instructors and very knowledge. Unfortunately the weather on the initial day was too bad to complete the road riding section but it was rearranged quickly and Jon took us out for a good ride. Considering DAS modules soon and would definitely use RJH again.

Fantastic experience: Returning to riding after 30 years with serious mobility issues, these Guys have been utterly supportive & have been amazing. They've taken the time to help me adjust safely & given me the confidence to get out & enjoy a pass time I thought lost to me. Their combination of patience, understanding & professional dedication made the entire experience a pleasure & I can't thank them enough. I fully intend to continue my biking journey with the help of RJH & plan to do my DAS course with them at some point in the future. Update: After doing a two hour "taster" session, I went back & did my CBT. Just wanted to comment on Nick & Paul, the two instructors who trained me. I've a few serious physical limitations & at no point was I made to feel anything but supported & it made all the difference. Nick was fantastic; gave me all the time I needed when I had to stop & helped me adapt & overcome safely any issues I encountered during the day. I say this to try & stress how good these guys are. Fantastic experience: Will admit long overdue review, had Nick to renew my CBT even took are kid for his first CBT. Fantastic instructor made us feel right at home, had a good laugh whilst keeping it very professional and filled us both with confidence. Couldn't recommend enough, even goes the extra mile to train you above normal CBT standards to get you ready for the big tests.
