Fantastic experience: I was recommended All Bikes Training after an extremely poor experience with another CBT provider. Louise, Steve and Sam were extremely professional and good humoured throughout the initial contact, booking and training process. It was an really enjoyable day, extremely honest feedback but all provided extremely well with a bit of fun in the manner to improve your riding and your safety, which they take extremely seriously. Fantastic experience: I have recently done my DAS with allbikes to get my A2 license and the process couldn’t have been easier. Everything from the booking process, organising dates and times, and doing the training couldn’t have been smoother. Louise was extremely helpful with the whole ordeal and she was really accommodating as there was certain dates that didn’t work for me and she organised it all around my schedule. I also happened to leave my wallet in one of the instructors bikes and she was very quick to reply to my and told me the best time to collect which worked well for me, and the instructor. I done my initial lesson with Steve just so he could understand what level of riding I was at, and find weak points in my riding I needed to improve on. He was very much to the point and told me what I SHOULD do, rather then just telling me what I could do. Even with the brief 2 hour lesson I had with him I learnt tremendous amounts and went from never riding an A2 bike, to feel confident and comfortable whilst riding. Sam was the instructor who done my 2 training days before my MOD 1 and he was very, very, very knowledgeable and has got all the experience to show it. He taught me in a simple, but detailed manner and didn’t overload me with information. Instead of telling me all the things I was doing wrong, he broke it down into individual issues and helped me sort them out before moving onto any other issues or bad habits I had. We trained at an area near the Col U stadium and there was plenty of room and it was nice and secluded away. Day 1 we did a short road ride and then worked on more specific MOD1 training. Day 2 was again a short road ride, then mainly going over more MOD1 training I then sat my MOD1 and passed, and then a week later my MOD2 and passed that. Going from zero riding experience on a big bike, to then having my A2 license within the space of 10 days was perfect for me as I was pretty impatient as most people going for their bike license would be I have got zero faults from the whole experience and I am extremely happy with the whole training. I would recommend anyone wanting to get their bike license be it a CBT or DAS to do it with Allbikes, and I will 100% be doing my full A license with them

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience, took my CBT in January and did the DAS course in may and passed mod 1 and 2 first time . Sam was amazing , he has so much experience for a young instructor and knows how to pass his knowledge on to his students in a way that you can understand easily and exactly where and how you can improve you riding skills . Behind the scenes they have Louise answering the phones , organising you training days booking test dates and keeping you informed of start times even sending reminders the night before just in case , i would recommend all bikes motorcycle training to anybody looking to learn how to ride a motorcycle . Fantastic experience: Definitely recommend all bikes motorcycle training... Passed mod 2 today after doing all my training from start to end. Had never ridden a geared bike before and Steve got me through my mod 1 and 2 first time. Training was fun and there was no moddycuddling there is no in-between Steve tells you exactly what you are doing wrong even if you don't want to hear it I prefer that way of training. Tells you what you are doing wrong and shows you how to fix your errors most of the training is done on the road in real situations and he snapped me out of a lot of bad habits I had after being a car driver for 20 years and a lorry driver for 7. If you want to get through your test and gain real experience and learn how to ride safely then definitely go with all bikes. They are very good and the communication from Steve on the road and his wife Louise booking the tests and stuff is second to none would not go anywhere else.

Negative experience: I did my MOD 1 with all bikes and had a bad experience. Would not reccomend as steve was very rude and i did not find them understanding or accomadating, and this left me to continue my training elsewhere. I found Sam to be a great instructor and if i could have done my training just with him my review would be different.

Fantastic experience: Steve is getting me through my DAS, and I honestly can't recommend All Bikes enough. If you're a new rider or even a nervous rider, again, All Bikes are the instructors you need. Fantastic experience: I have spent a total of 20 hours riding with all bikes having never rode a motorbike before and have come away passing my mod 1&2 tests and feeling extremely confident on the road. I would highly recommend this school as they teach you how to professionally ride a motorbike rather than only teaching you to pass a test, leading you to come away with more knowledge and experience than you would anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Started DAS training with Steve at all bikes after doing my CBT elsewhere and riding a 125 for a very short amount of time (Approx 600 miles). Started with a 2Hr lesson to see how i got on moving onto the larger capacity bike then straight into the DAS training. After only 3 days training i passed both my MOD 1 and MOD 2 with only 1 minor fault in each. Steve was brilliant to learn with, making the lessons educational and more importantly enjoyable! The lessons will always move at your pace whilst also pushing you to improve your riding overall and not just to pass the test. i would highly recommend All Bikes to anyone looking to train to pass their test or to improve their riding in general.

Fantastic experience: These guys are great. My daughter wanted to learn to ride and so we started with a Dad and Daughter CBT day. Perfect starter, for both a 17 year old first timer and a 'not-quite-too' old returning to it rider. Two years on and I've just passed my full license and Steve and Louise deserve all the credit, knowledgeable and yet flexible. We rode the great bikes and learnt to ride not just to pass tests. Fantastic experience: Patience and experience. That's what Steve and Louise have in spades. Moving from a 125cc to a 650 was daunting to say the least. Louise recommend a 2 hour session on the 650 as a transition between CBT and starting the DAS course. This gave me the confidence I needed and meant I hit the road running. Can't wait to get out for a ride without L plates. Thanks for getting me through my DAS.

Fantastic experience: Done my cbt in June 2022 and mod1, mod2 January 2023 with All Bike Motorcycle Training. Steve and Louise were great. We had some tricky weather to train in but that didn't stop Steve training me to a high standard ( nor did it stop him complaining to me how cold he was). Couldn't recommend them enough, thanks for everything!

Fantastic experience: Happy is an Understatement, I am delighted to have gained my Full A Bike License today with the fantastic guidance and instruction of Steve & Louise at AllBikes Colchester. I was a cautious "mature" rider who so wanted to make my own dreams come true, so I contacted Louise after my first attempt at Mod 1 did not go well. Louise listened and advised an assessment with Steve, and from there I never looked back. Steve taught me so much, not just the skills to pass but to believe in myself. I have to say there weren't many places we did not ride to, for me to gain the confidence and the experience I needed. On the Road he is direct, informative, and firm with you, as one day "god forbid" your life may depend on it. Fantastic experience: Now where do I start my story I see a motorbike on Facebook and bought it without having any riding knowledge or even knowing how motorbike works so I was recommended All Bikes Training Ltd so I’ve got in touch booked my CBT and I definitely do not recommend wearing full racing leathers on a 125 as all the banter that day was aimed at me because I was far too hot and look like a Power Ranger but I’ve got through it today and passed my Mod 2 steve and Louise are so friendly and helpful and I recommend to anyone that is doing their training or thinking of doing their training if they have extra lessons available take them because it pays off and it helps you to be a better rider I honestly couldn’t thank these guys enough for getting me through and thank you again

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Steve and Louise enough for mentoring me successfully to pass my Mod 1 test and training me for the Mod 2. I had a terrible experience previously with a another riding school last year, but this time I was searching for someone who would actually teach me how to ride a motorcycle and build my confidence along the way. I stumbled across ‘All Bikes’ from other riders and people involved in the motorcycle trade. I made sure I would go to the right people this time. Steve assessed my riding skills during a 2 hour lesson and and booked me in for 2 days for Mod 1 and Mod 2 training. Steve had me ready for the Mod 1 in 2 hours of training exercises and took me on rides around Colchester and Ipswich to get me ready for the Mod 2. I had constant feedback through my earpiece and was continuously learning whilst enjoying the rides. Louise made me feel very welcome from the very first phone call, as I explained my previous experiences on learning to ride and also telling her that being a Turban wearing Sikh, I would like to exercise my exemption to wearing a helmet whilst riding motorcycles. She was very understanding and respected my decision for this and booked my training dates whilst taking away the stress of booking tests. Both Steve and Louise are both really nice individuals and are very passionate about motorcycles and Steve is also a great guy to converse with. He has a tons of experience and also has a great sense of humour which is great for calming the nerves. I strongly recommend ‘All Bikes’ to anyone who is entering the world of motorcycling that is need of expert tuition for becoming a safe and confident rider. ***Just to add I had my Mod 2 test booked in today, one week after passing my Mod 1 test. I passed both tests back to back with only 3 days of training with ‘All Bikes’. Thank you once again Steve and Louise.***

Fantastic experience: All i can say is that steve and louise put a hell of a lot work into me getting up to riding conditions for my test even from him saying at the start i wont put you on that test till i feel comfortable with you to me now passing my module 2 today with only 5 minors all those lessons and extra training truly was worth it and for them to see how differently i ride now they truly do care about you and your safety wanting only the best for those who book lessons

Fantastic experience: Recently completed my Mod 1 & Mod 2 with All Bikes after doing my CBT with another local company. Lets just say i dodged a bullet by choosing todo my training with All Bikes. Steve soon showed me (10 mins in to my 1st lesson) that i hadn’t learnt anything on my CBT. But with some great training and some tough loving i soon got the nod of approval from Steve and by passing both modules first time with very few minors well that just speaks for itself. Highly recommend All Bikes to anyone great family run business with great communication.

Fantastic experience: I was very lucky to be referred to All Bike Motorcycle Training by chance whilst buying a helmet, post completing my CBT with another provider, that had left a lot to be desired. In taking one trial lesson with Steve on a 125cc, I knew I could trust him not only to get my DAS training and exams but making me a safe motorcyclist. Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic training from Steve. I had no driving experience before I started my A2 license training, and Steve managed to remove any old 125 habits I had, whilst teaching me some solid advice that made me safer on the roads. Managed to pass my MOD 1 and MOD 2 without fail, and with only 2 minor faults on the MOD 2, nearly a clean sheet. Very happy and having a good time riding around on a more powerful bike.

Negative experience: Very disappointed, my husband booked his Mod 1 course but due to a bereavement had to change the dates, requested to be booked on next available dates, had a text back to say "Done" which was the 6/7/8th June. Text sent this morning to check on times etc to be told dates were not in fact booked! Reason apparently was my husband had not confirmed, didn't feel this was necessary as he had already requested booking next available dates and received a text saying "Done"

Negative experience: Was booked in for a cbt renewal, however the night before I was throwing up between 1-3am. If I’m honest neither her fault and not at all like I would choose to throw up out of fun. I messaged louise in the morning to try and tell her that I can come but I wouldn’t want to give them my bug ( not COVID I did a test) and she was awful with me. Incredibly blunt and Terrible at communicating with me as to what we can do. Whether it was to rebook, move cbt to another date or anything. She still hasn’t replied. They won’t refund me or move it and come to some sort of an agreement To a solution. Considering it’s £165 (which for a cbt is a bit dear) I wouldn’t have expected a lot better of a service. My first cbt was somewhere else, £65 less money and tremendously better. It’s a shame that they are undergoing expansion and cannot take bookings. Every experience is different so hopefully if you book with them yours is better!

Fantastic experience: Very good training! I had an opportunity to learn from both Steve and Andrea. Both of them are stellar instructors. Andrea guided me through elements of Mod 1, and Steve provided training for both Mod 1 and 2, as well as some initial post CBT corrections to my driving. In the end, I passed both exams on the first try. Louise arranged training around my work schedule, so now I have enough holidays left for some motorcycle trips this summer.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend All Bikes to Anyone who is looking for a friendly down to earth instructor and who wants to pass! The training I received from Steve over the few days was amazing, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Louise is such a lovely person, always was prepared and organised so that all my tests were booked in. Not only that but she is always waiting for you at the start of the day with coffee to prepare you for the day ahead (the kind of hospitality you’d expect to get from a close friend or family) After finish my A2 within a couple weeks with Steve and Louise I’m saddened that I’m not going to be spending time with them anymore!! 5/5* You’d be silly to go with anyone other than all bikes for any motorcycle training!!

Fantastic experience: Passed my Mod 2 today and I cannot recommend All Bikes enough!! After not riding for 6 months, Steve took me from CBT through to Mod 2 seamlessly within 2 weeks! Training days are packed full of knowledge and laughs and I would not have been able to do it without your help and training! Thank you Steve and Louise!!!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant training. Steve is a bit harsh to start with but it's all in your best interest. He tells you what you're doing wrong instead of molly codling you so you can learn from it and improve, because the examiners aren't going to be as forgiving. I wouldn't have it any other way and recommend All Bikes as a company, and as human beings.

I’d had a bit of a bad experience at another school and was really nervous, but the guys took their time, we’re so supportive and got me round. Fantastic experience: Highly reccomend Steve and Louise, from first point of contact booking in for training to having the Mod 2 pass certificate in my hand. They were great throughout. Decent bikes too, making life a lot easier to learn on- that is coming from a zero experience rider. Thanks again for all your help!

Negative experience: I had a really terrible experience with Steve and Louise. I had my Mod 1 test booked in, we could only squeeze in one day of training before the test. Steve assured me that one day would be enough. On my training day he seemed to forget that we only had this one opportunity. We took a leisurely cruise from Colchester to Harwich via Manningtree and back via the A120, stopping once for ice cream and then again for coffee. When I started to ask questions about my test he suddenly remembered 45 minutes before the training was due to finish. He dashed home to get some cones to try and give me at least some of the training that I needed. Obviously, I needed a bit longer so he decided that I wasn't going to pass, gave up and said it was "50/50 chance" I'd pass the test and refused to put me up for it, unless I cancelled a holiday to receive more training. As you can imagine, this was very frustrating for me. When I started to ask questions, I got very defensive responses from Louise. She told me Steve had decided early on I wasn't in safe control of the bike and that I'd have had a crash if he'd let me proceed with any mod 1 training (which is slow manoeuvring in a car park). When I challenged that saying "why didn't he, at any point, express any concern about my riding?" and "why, if I wasn't in safe control of the bike, did he take me 70+mph on the A120?" - Louise accused me of bring confrontational and said "you could always go and do your training with someone else". Even now, this response from her still shocks me. But I did take her advice. I asked for my money back as I clearly didn't get my day of Mod 1 training that I needed - they refused. I appreciate people make mistakes - it was so blatantly an error/misunderstanding. It happens to the best of us. But to lay the blame at my feet was quite shocking. Steve was a good instructor, but a bit in-over-his-head with the admin/bookings - which led to my test being lost/cancelled, my confidence being shattered and the worst customer service I've EVER experienced in my entire life.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend All Bikes. Steve is a great instructor. Patient and to the point. And you have a laugh as well. I learnt so much going from a 125cc to 650cc and feel so much more confident. Great experience. Thanks to Louise for organising the training and test dates following lockdown. 5

Fantastic experience: Steve is a great teacher. He had myself (car driver of 13 years) and two 16 year olds. So we were a mixed crowd but he tailored the tuition so each of us progressed well and he worked on each of our weakness’. Just the right amount of wit to make the learning process fun. Once I have built my confidence further and am ready to take my DAS I will definitely go back to Steve. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend enough! Stephen took me from wobbling around on a 125cc during the CBT to a first time pass in less than two months. Excellent teacher who provides training tailored to an individual's needs.
