Fantastic experience: Pauline was so patient, supportive and passionate about her job. She was so helpful with giving tips about staying calm during the test, and finding what worked for me. Every weak spot I had, we worked theough as much as we could to improve my confidence, she cared so much about my progress. I gained so much confidence driving with her, 3 days after passing my test I drove 4 hours to university, confidently. She had such a calming and supportive presence, as someone who has struggled with driving previously, I never felt stressed or anxious driving with her. Sometimes it felt more like going for a drive with a friend, maybe just one that likes to remind you to check your mirrors every 5 seconds haha. Thank you so much Pauline, you are an angel.

Fantastic experience: Michelle is an excellent instructor and she was very patient and calming. I gained lots of confidence in my driving and was able to pass my test first time! She provided lots of extra teaching materials such as videos, which really helped me to understand different concepts. She also taught me some calming techniques to help with my anxiety which made me focus better on my test and in my lessons!

Fantastic experience: Booked a refresher driving lesson for my grandmother after a car accident. Michelle was really patient and calming, she explained the layout of the car and what was planned during the two hour session. After the session my grandmother was much more confident driving and was advised on a few minor things to consider when back behind the wheel. As a family we can't recommend Michelle highly enough. Whether you're a new driver or someone who needs a refresher lesson. Thank you again!!!

Fantastic experience: Really couldn’t recommend Lewis H from Steer We Go enough, I was extremely nervous to start my first driving lesson however after meeting Lewis and seeing how patient, calm and collected he is, it made me feel at ease and ready to crack on. He guided me through every step with absolute professionalism and always gave honest and constructive feedback. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test yesterday after learning with Michelle and am hugely grateful to her for all her help and support. I was very nervous when I began at the start of this year after a bad first experience with lessons in a different area two years ago. Michelle was hugely encouraging and patient and took the time to build my confidence (and skills) every week. I always felt at ease when driving with Michelle as I knew her patience and support meant no question was too silly and we'd work on addressing any mistakes together in a positive learning environment, as well as going through what I felt had gone well at the end of every lesson. After initially thinking that I'd never be a driver, I'm now confident out on the roads. Thank you!

I had previously completed two tests in my home town but after having so many brilliant lessons in Colchester I took it up here and passed with one fault! Fantastic experience: I successfully passed my driving test today with a huge help from my instructor Lewis, who has helped me develop into a confident driver with a lot of awareness on the road. Lewis is a lovely instructor as he is understanding, reliable and makes you feel comfortable and any mistakes that I made during my lessons I went back and fixed the mistake that exact lesson.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Paul and the Steer We Go Driving school to anyone, whatever your level of driving ability. I completed a 20hr intensive course that included the test in the final hour - which I happily passed! Even before the course began, Paul made booking in and arranging the course and test date a very easy process. Having previously failed several driving tests (with a different driving school!), I was a very anxious driver when I started this intensive course. However, Paul quickly identified everything I needed to work on - there were quite a few things! At the end of each lesson he took time to run through what we had done and what I still needed to work on, which I found very useful and encouraging. He was professional and very patient and helped me to build my skills and confidence up a lot. At the end of the course I passed my test - which I think proves just how good his teaching was!

Fantastic experience: I passed first time with Lewis today. I needed upgrade my license from back home to get my UK license and Lewis helped me achieve this in just 2 lessons with him. Very informative & knowledgeable. Nothing was ever too much and he was very responsive and went out of his way to fit me around his schedule due to needing my license for work. Fantastic experience: I had Michelle and she was so amazing! Only had a couple lessons with her but each one was so informative and useful in helping me with driving. Would 100% recommend her to anyone learning to drive :)

Fantastic experience: Michelle was my instructor and she was great. She explained everything clearly to me, especially when I was confused. She always had diagrams and toy cars to explain things visually which helped me a lot. The way she explains everything is really clear and has helped me to become a more confident learner driver.

Fantastic experience: Passed with two minors last week with Michelle. As someone who put driving off for years due to anxiety and never thought they would pass, I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Michelle is very friendly, calm, patient and makes you feel at ease. Michelle lets you go at your own pace and doesn't pressure you at all and is great at building up your confidence on the road. Michelle provides plenty of helpful information with diagrams which really helps visualise what you need to do and how things work. At the end of your lessons you'll have an overview of what went well and what needs to be worked on in following lessons. In between lessons Michelle will give you videos to watch to aid you with your learning which prepares you for what you'll be doing in your lessons. Overall Michelle was amazing and I can't praise her enough.

Fantastic experience: I had wonderful lessons with Rachel, and she’s very kind, warm-hearted, and professional. She not only taught me how to drive but also taught me how to drive safely and confidently. She also encouraged me a lot before and after the test. Steer We Go Leaners replied fast all the time and arranged the perfect instructor for me, therefore I think they are very good and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I went to here for for some top up lessons after 5 years of not driving, Michele was amazing calmed my anxiety encouraged me and did not push for any more sessions than necessary. Would highly recommend for new drivers and those who just want a top up.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed driving lessons so much and it’s sad that they’re over. My instructor was Michelle and she was amazing she saw where I had to improve and we worked on it to get me to where I needed to be. She’s very friendly and very reliable and the perfect instructor, she prepared me fully for my test and encouraged me to be more confident while driving. Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving test with Paul and I highly recommend him as your driving instructor and the Steer We Go Learners school without any hesitation! I have also recommended him to my friends, and those who have already started their lessons with Paul have only positives to mention too. I’m really impressed with the Steer We Go Learners’ lesson progress plan and structure, because it helped me from the beginning to form a clear picture in my head on what I should focus on before the driving test, and identify my strengths and what needs further improvement after each lesson. I feel very blessed to have had Paul as my driving instructor, as he managed to take me from a timid newbie, to a confident and responsible, newly approved driver. His conduct on the job has a very positive influence on his students, and I admire and respect him, seeing that not only is he very knowledgeable, but also a very considerate, patient and pleasant instructor, always with a smile. Fantastic experience: My instructor was Michelle, and she was amazing! She explained everything I asked her to, in a way I understood. She never made me feel I was learning too slowly, and was always happy to learn at a pace I was comfortable with. I cannot recommend her enough!
