Fantastic experience: Came from Southampton to do my CBT very nice and calm people would recommend anyone to come here and do it thanks to them I have gone ahead and brought a motorcycle wich I never thought I would do thank you so much to everyone there

Fantastic experience: Debs and I were on the Island for the scooter rally. A chance comment from her that maybe she might (after 20+ years of not being too interested in my biking antics) be interested in riding a bike if she could be in control of the bike This laid down the challenge for me to strike whilst the enthusiasm was there. I did a quick Google search and Paul's feedback made it an easy decision. Paul took my call and managed to squeeze her in for a taster session a couple of days later. She literally didn't even know that you controlled revs via a twist throttle, so Paul had his work cut out!! Anyway big success, she loved it! Totally bought into Paul and will only go back to him to do her CBT....Oh well sounds like a great excuse for us to come over for a couple of days in the not too distant future

Fantastic experience: Paul at Pit Stop was brilliant to deal with and I would recommend training with him to anyone on the Island, or even the mainland. Paul is experienced, encouraging, flexible, knowledgeable, a good laugh and laid back, but professional and focused on areas to tweak and improve. He has brilliant spec, well-maintained bikes to practice on (I sat my Mod 2 on a new Honda Hornet 750 - he and his team have a fleet of other bikes that are perfect for any stage of riding), a great dedicated space to practice and expert knowledge of the island and test routes. Paul is something of a local celebrity, being stopped by many of his former students and colleagues for a chat as we rode around the island, which is testament to both his character and the quality of his coaching. Many thanks for being so accommodating to me whilst on holiday to coach and get me through my Mod 2.

Fantastic experience: What can I say, Paul at Pitstop is a legend in the game. Great instructor, really flexible with tuition, and a super nice guy. There were 3 of us (amongst many others) who ended up doing the DAS at the same time and we all ended up bumping into each other on our lessons. All 3 of us have now passed our MOD 1 and MOD 2 tests first time. Don't look anywhere else, give Paul a ring now. Thanks Paul

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience doing my CBT recently. Team were all super professional and put everyone at ease all the way through. Everything was explained clearly and we were able to learn at our own pace. If you've ever been thinking about riding a motorcycle, then this is the only place to go in my opinion

After the training at the school, we got out on the road, and my confidence grew and grew. Fantastic experience: After not riding for 27 years, I decided to book a 1 hour taster session. From the get go I was encouraged to go straight for my CBT and had my certificate that afternoon. Thanks Steve. Completed the boring bit (theory & observation) and returned for mod 1 & 2 training with Paul. Happy to now have a full motorcycle licence! Thanks guys, absolutely first class!

Fantastic experience: Went to pit stop training as recommendation from a friend, I signed up for a 1 2 1 cbt for a 50cc. It was my first time on a moped, and I really enjoyed it! The instructor was so helpful and supportive, I was able to understand and complete my cbt in a day. I now ride a 50cc confidently and I’m looking forward to returning for a 125 cbt in the next coming years. I recommend pit stop training to all!

Fantastic experience: These guys are the best. Went for a mod 2 and even though we weren't booked with them they saved the day. Front L plates need to be full sized as we worked out 5 minutes before our test. Steve loaned us one and to top it off we passed. Massive thank you Steve.we owe you.

Fantastic experience: This is easily one of the easiest 5 star reviews I have given. I found the whole process to be simple and great that you speak to a real person. Who actually cares about their customers. When the instructor is willing to learn you know that business will go far. You never know the type of customer your going to have. Acknowledgment, communication and above all understanding is key and pit stop has the speed in motion. Very reasonable on prices. Still call and you never know what help their is. Before I felt being female, older and a total beginner; completely out of place even asking to do my CBT. I couldn't have been so wrong. So wrong, that after having my CBT for 2 years I needed to renew. So of course I booked it and completed it the next day. In the pouring rain. I now want to book for my full licence. Definitely the place to learn on the isle of wight.

Paul took me put the whole day and was absolutely amazing and I had an amazing time he was very kind funny and supportive and his a great value for money I came all the way down from London to do my test on the Isle of White and I'm glad I went with Paul to do my mod 2 training with him he showed me round the island and put me at ease before my test this is ab experience i will never forget. . Fantastic experience: Paul has been great in helping me to obtain my A License, having previously trained with Paul for both CBT & A2 a couple years ago. I'd also like to thank another Instructor, Shaun, who was also very professional, funny and re assuring. Fantastic experience: I did an hours training a few weeks back and decided to do my CBT yesterday the 24/05/23, it was great the instructors were professional and funny and made you feel safe and comfortable whilst also informing you of how to be dafe on the road. The whole day was enjoyable and made the whole process a really good experience. Couldn't recommend Pit-Stop enough.

Fantastic experience: I completed 2 CBTs through pit stop, once on my 16th birthday to get me on the road on a 50cc, then renewed it just before my 18th and I’ve now just done my a2 license with them. I wanted to get it done as soon as possible and they managed to to book me in for both my mod 1 and mod 2 within the space of a couple weeks from when I first contacted them, top tier service. No doubt I’ll be seeing them in a couple years to do my full A licence

Fantastic experience: Such a fantastic resource for the Island. My son had two free hour long taster sessions to really get a feel for riding a motorbike. They provided all the kit including helmet, jacket and gloves and he learnt so much. Then he completed his full day CBT under the watchful eyes and great guidance of the instructors. We ended up buying a bike from them and Paul made sure it had full mot, clean and service plus 6 month warranty. My son picked it up a month after doing his CBT so was a little nervous about getting on and riding it home. Sean (one of the instructors) offered to take him out with the radios to make sure he hadn't forgotten anything. They went out for a good two hours and he felt so much more confident to ride it home. He had a few teething issues after taking it out for a ride the next day and Paul went above and beyond to help and make sure everything was good to go. I just can't recommend these guys highly enough, they have made us as parents feel much more at ease with our son riding a motorbike and he is a much more confident, calm rider.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to go and try out riding a scooter if you have never done it before. All equipment is provided (helmet, gloves, jacket). Staff were friendly and encouraging. Overall, a great experience. If you're not sure if a scooter/motorbike is for you, have a go anyway, you have nothing to lose.

Fantastic experience: 'Pit Stop Paul', IOW legend. Its been a few years since doing my licence with them, and I'm still recommending them today. It was £550 all in for my unrestricted licence and took 3-4 months before I was on the road. Pit Stop never felt like a test, or like you were nervous to get something wrong. It was like a ride out with your pals whilst being taught how to ride safely along the way. Passed CBT, Theory, Mod 1 and Mod 2 1st time thanks to these guys. I'd happily do it all again it was that enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic, friendly, patient, calm instructing. Initially had a CBT booked for moped, but on the day decided I'd go for geared bike instead. I was a complete beginner and was in a group of 4. Instructor went at a suitable pace for everyone. Instructors built up confidence throughout the day. Shout out to the instructor who was incredibly calm, patient and encouraging when I missed two cycles of green light when I stalled on a hill start.. repeatedly. Excellent. Can't recommend enough

Fantastic experience: I would like to say a massive thank you to Paul and all the guys at Pitstop training... Having been involved in a serious accident a few years back (with many years of operations following & time to recover) I was naturally nervous about getting back on the road after such a long time. I contacted Pitstop training and had a chat with Paul (lovely bloke) who went out of his way to discuss my concerns, he took time to listen to me and gave sound advice. After speaking with Paul on the phone and seeing the genuine care/time he took to set my mind at rest on a few things I booked my CBT with him. I really can't fault Paul (or the other guys) and found them friendly/approachable and patient, thank you. The CBT was held very well and it was clear these guys care about what they are doing. All I can say is thank you for everything, it was a fantastic day and great experience with them

Fantastic experience: Done my CBT on 13/02/22 with Pit stop training I had never road a gear bike before and was quite nervous but Paul was great took his time and went in to great detail on the bikes and how to ride safe. Gave me all the time I needed to get use to the bike and gears before going out on the road. And once on the road it was great had the best time doing it really good day even thow the rain and wind was crazy think it was Probably the worst day of the year so far with the weather but Dident stop use. And we carried on and passed my CBT. Iam definitely going with Paul to do my full bike license. Thanks again Paul and will be seeing you soon to do the full license.

Positive experience: Highly recommend you to take the free hour long taster session if you haven't been on a bike before or for a really long time. I would have ideally liked perhaps a half-day pre-cbt taster as my confidence wasn't up there. I completed my cbt today but as the trainer said, rarely made it over 30mph on a 50cc scooter. Trainer was massively competent, perhaps more so suited for those who were aiming at bigger bikes. Perhaps more options to give an absolute beginner more confidence but start to finish, very comprehensive and knowledgeable.. Sam- you have the patience of a Saint, dude!

Fantastic experience: I can't rate Paul and Pit Stop highly enough. I was actually doing my Mod 1 up in London earlier in the year (but never got to the test due to CV19 lockdown) so am able compare with another trainer. I really felt Paul gave me a good appraisal of my skills and helped me focus on the things I needed to improve to get through my tests. It all felt very relaxed which was great (and very different to the other trainer's approach). I passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time with few faults (none on Mod 1) and had good fun doing it too. If you're thinking about doing your CBT or Mod 1 and 2 this is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: Did my mod 2 with Paul back in September durring the scorching heat wave...it was a really hard weekend to be on the bikes all day durring that heat but we sweated and pulled through it and really had a great time...Paul is a brilliant instructor who knows what he's doing and helps you alot..I had a great weekend doing mod 2 and Paul made it feel as though you weren't even doing a course..just riding and learning from a pro....definitely recommend Pit stop training to anyone looking to get into riding..

Fantastic experience: I’d not been on a bike for nearly 20 years, so I approached getting my A licence with some apprehension. Paul and the team at Pit Stop were diligent and extremely professional throughout my training. I did CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 over 3 months and with lessons to suite my working schedule. No hidden extras in the costs and super easy to communicate with. If you’re on the island looking to advance your 2 wheeled skills - you couldn’t do better.

Fantastic experience: As a novice rider over the age of 50 I was careful when choosing my training provider. Having asked around, pit stop training has the best name on The Island and is highly regarded throughout the south of england as a provider of top quality motorcycle training. My experience provides solid evidence that this reputation us well deserved. I passed the CBT with Pit Stop on one of their Honda 125s then graduated onto one of their Honda CB 650 R bikes. I received expert tuition throughout, perfectly balanced between constructive criticism and encoragement.The result speaks for itself as I passed both mod 1 and mod 2 at first attempt, within a few months of starting training. I cannot praise Paul and his team highly enough, huge thanks and look forward to catching up soon.

Fantastic experience: Just did my CBT with these guys very professional and informative instructors but also a very enjoyable day. They lent me all the equipment including bike, Helmet, Jacket & Gloves all of which was relatively new and in very good order. I will back very soon to do the proper bike training and test.

Fantastic experience: It's hard to think of or find the right words to describe the experience I had with Paul, which is an amazing guy and very hard to find people like him, expecially in london. I took the decision to take my training with Paul on the isle due to the fact of people's horrible attitude in london and plus was surprised to see a 100% 5 star rating on the guy, which makes you wonder what the hell does this guy do that is different to other training centres. Paul just makes you feel relaxed calm and allows you the time you need to get yourself used to the bike instead of feeling fearful of making mistakes and being shouted at which then starts a chain reaction of mistakes. I enjoyed every moment with Paul and had a few laughs. I am never ever going to forget the experience. The isle of Wight and Pit Stop training is the best place in the WORLD to take your motorcycle training. Don't think twice or even once about going to Pit Stop training, just do it and take my word for it, you will not be disappointed.
