Fantastic experience: I started doing my CBT’s with SEMT when I was 17, 4 years later and I’ve finally passed my MOD1 and MOD2 (after a few retakes) the Training I got was more than excellent, the entire team are great and very helpful/approachable, they give you a lot of advice and constructive information to help you not just pass your test but become a better rider. I’m pleased to say I will be going for my unrestricted license in 2 years! I will be recommending SEMT to anyone who is interested in doing their tests.

Fantastic experience: Most impressive. Done my cbt with them and michael got me through mod 1 and mod 2 such great training and feedback no pressure a credit as a local company. My step son has his cbt on Saturday as well they are brilliant. No pressure deal with nerves and anxiety no rush not just about the money actually takes time to get to know you and make you feel like a friend rather than a customer. Can not recommend highly enough. Wether it's motorbike or car they have you covered great value for money. Worked the hours round my work rather than you can only do I'm 1 week block. Give them a try you will not be disappointed. Value for money 10/10. Knowledge 10/10. Understanding you 10/10. It's nice to see a local small business that is truly top class. Fantastic experience: DID MY CBT TODAY AT THE RIPE OLD AGE OF 60. I DID 2 INTROS, ONE WITH JAMES OTHER WITH MICHAEL. DID MY CBT TODAY (25TH JUNE 2024) IT BECAME CLEAR I WAS DOING WELL FOR A MAN WHO NEVER BEEN ON A GEARED BIKE. BUT WAS EASIER ON A SCOOTER JAMES WAS VERY PATIENT AND PUT ME AT EASE. Fantastic experience: All round excellent experience at SEMT! Mod1 & Mod2 completed under the careful guidance of Allister whose encouragement, enthusiasm and clear and concise way of explaining even the smallest details enabled me to progress from pretty much zero experience to confident rider in a short space of time. Even with my best efforts to test Allister’s patience (at times!) he remained calm and positive throughout which I found really put me at ease. Michael was also on hand, again with a calm and measured approach and the great ability to explain seemingly impossible tasks in such a simple way making it all seem easy! Thanks guys, a thoroughly enjoyable experience

Fantastic experience: Recently completed my CBT here, Paul was very accommodating with offering a few taster sessions so I felt at ease and got more comfortable. Very easy going as well as very knowledgeable and ensuring you are comfortable with what you have learned and being out on the road. Kerry was also great with contact and arranging dates for me to do the taster sessions. All in all a great local family run business, I look forward to booking with them for my big bike training

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT a couple of weeks ago with this training centre. I am 54 years of age and had never ridden a geared bike in my life. From start to finish the instruction was excellent. I was apprehensive and nervous before I started but James the instructor was calming and put me at ease in the 1st 20 minutes. Throughout the day I grew in confidence and felt safe on the road. I’ve since been riding my 125 and once I feel ready, will be returning for my big boys test. I would thoroughly recommend South East Motorcycle Training and look forward to the next stage of my motorcycle journey.

Fantastic experience: paul was very helpful and friendly, he was professional and thorough throughout the whole intense course with everything we needed to know, he was always happy to be instructing. i had problems which resulted in not being able to do my test on the friday but was very helpful in getting me back in at the next available slot which resulted in me passing both modules first time NO MINORS also would like to add the lady taking the calls (sorry i forgot your name) was very helpful and very polite thanks again south east motocycle would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: As a female I found this school the most approachable and friendliest. I was always treated as an equal despite not always being as competent, due to my own lack of self belief. I have nothing but praise for all the guys that work here, initially for James doing the CBT, Michael for my training and Paul for doing my resits. Unfortunately, I had a lack of self belief in my own ability, which led to resits. It was nothing to do with the schools training which is excellent. Each and every one of the trainers were fantastic and supportive the entire time. I was given further training to support the resits, and during this, they were all supportive and gave positive reassurance throughout, leading to the final pass and huge smiles on the new bike. A huge thank you to everyone involved in my training.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic training totally brilliant experience, thank you SEMT. I passed my test aged 64 years. I had unsatisfactory experiences elsewhere. The 2 other training schools I picked were closer to where I live and were picked for that reason. The first one kept altering my training schedule, this was no good as I had already arranged cover to run my company, they really messed me about, and I had to pay in full up front. I then booked elsewhere, the instructor was very good, but the bike they gave me was 17 years old and I asked twice to change back to the one that I had my introductory lesson on (it ran better, but was 16 years old) I wasn't allowed to change. Somehow I passed the Mod 1 but failed the Mod 2. No way was I going to do a retest on those bikes. I then called Paul Duval at SEMT, what a difference. There I witnessed his instructors training other people, and noticed better advice than I received elsewhere. Paul's training with me was totally brilliant, I learned so much more, and really enjoyed every minute. Thankyou so much Paul, I wish I came to you first. I miss your voice and company now I am riding on my own.

Fantastic experience: Second time doing my CBT with SEMT and although I had done one before, the nerves were still there. These soon went and the rest of the day went well. James was the instructor for the day and I could not recommend him enough. The on road riding section of the day felt as if you were out riding with friends (albeit with James giving instruction in my ear!). Overall I would recommend SEMT to anyone thinking of doing a CBT or even going for their big bike licence and if your a little unsure of getting on two wheels, SEMT offer few taster sessions to see if it's right for you and if it is, go for a CBT and get out there!

Paul was full of energy and enthusiasm throughout the 5 days and I couldn't of wished for anyone better. The little sayings and catch lines he has will live in my mind rent free for a good time yet.
