Negative experience: Very very poor service family member was mate to feel so uncomfortable within the short time she spent with Harry so requested that we just had a refund as we paid over the top for a corse of this type an how it was but instead we was told that she was becoming a nuisance an he had spent the money so he was unable to pay what was owed did get some back long story short wer down 400 pound so I would definitely not recommend anyone to use this service, we have reported this to the dvla “update “ I have just received the ousting money from Harry as he has no back bone an when I said about comming to get the money face to face that he said never had lol he managed to ruffle it all up he’s a scam an hope no one els falls for it

Fantastic experience: After 4 previous driving instructors and about 6 years of lessons I decided to take the plunge and do an 24 hour intensive driving course with Harry. I passed my test 3rd time with 1 minor at Herne Bay. Harry was very patient, professional and an all round great driving instructor. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Worst instructor ever. Rude, unreliable. No clear terms of service. Still owes me £1200 for lessons never received due to not wanting to get back in the car with a person who spent 6 hours belittling me and shouting.

Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend Harry for intensive Driving courses. I struggled to pass my test due to anxiety but Harry didn’t give up on me and yesterday I passed with only a couple of minor faults.

Fantastic experience: Harry has just got my daughter Hayley through her test on her 3rd try after failing her previous tests due to her anxieties and chronic fatigue. Harry has been very helpful throughout the lessons and he has kept in touch with me throughout to ensure I could help make her private practice as good as possible. Hayley was convinced she wouldn't be able to pass but Harry wouldn't give up on her so he booked her a test and kept it a secret until the examiner got in the car which worked out perfectly as she didn't have time to worry beforehand. Fantastic experience: I recently passed my driving test on the first attempt, and a huge chunk of the credit goes to my brilliant instructor, Harry. I can't recommend him highly enough! From the very first lesson, I was struck by Harry's exceptional communication skills. He has a way of explaining even the most complex maneuvers in a clear, concise, and articulate way. He wasn't afraid to use analogies or relatable examples to make sure everything clicked. No technical jargon here, just a genuine desire to make sure I truly understood the hows and whys of driving. But Harry's talents go far beyond clear explanations. He is the epitome of a calm and collected instructor. There were definitely moments, especially during those early, nerve-wracking parallel parking attempts, where I felt a surge of panic. Harry, however, had an uncanny ability to sense my anxiety. His voice would remain calm and reassuring, offering gentle corrections and words of encouragement that instantly soothed my nerves. He never made me feel rushed or belittled, but rather focused on building my confidence behind the wheel. This sense of calm reassurance wasn't just for those high-pressure moments. Throughout every lesson, Harry fostered a positive learning environment. He celebrated my successes, no matter how small, which kept me motivated. He also made the lessons themselves enjoyable! Fantastic experience: I did an intensive driving course with Harry. We managed few hours a week before my test . His guidance was very valuable. He has a straightforward style which I think helped me to know my mistakes and correct them. I failed with another instructor but passed in my first attempt with Harry. Negative experience: Worst driving instructor EVER. Harry is rude, disrespectful, greedy and in my opinion shouldn’t be saying he specialises in people with disabilities as he doesn’t have any patience or compassion. I do not recommend him to anyone. I passed very quickly after moving to a new instructor who didn’t shout at me and insult me.

Fantastic experience: It’s a pleasure to train with Harry. Extremely professional and excellent communication throughout. He understood my needs and acted accordingly. Although I had previous driving experience, the tips, guidance and advice, coupled with his proactive planning and experience helped me pass my road test in my first attempt. If you are looking to learn how to drive in an automatic, Harry should be your automatic choice.

Negative experience: I would avoid this driving school at all costs. I booked Harry to do my driving test and was appalled by his behaviour. He was rude and would shout at any mistake I made and had me in tears multiple times the day before my test. I went from a very confident driver to extremely nervous and anxious. I paid for a full day intensive and asked to cover the test routes and instead he wanted me to drive the opposite way and go to his house. When we got to his house he asked if I wanted to pull up on the kerb. When I pulled up alongside the kerb he began shouting at me telling me to pull onto the pavement. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Negative experience: I unfortunately got told by Harry himself, to delete my previous review, but I thought I would write one up now because I feel people need to hear the true reality of what he is like! Harry is arrogant, greedy, harsh, selfish and an incredibly rude person. He made me pay for my course in full, months before it was booked. He continuously kept double booking me with other learners, so I had to wait months before I could even start learning to drive! He made me pay for the fuel costs in the course as in his words it’s “his time and expertise you’re paying for” even though we used my personal car for the course because he couldn’t get his fixed in time! He never offered to contribute for the fuel costs even though he drove my car everywhere. His excuse was “He didn’t know how to open the fuel cap”. He continuously kept shouting and screaming at me whenever I made mistakes, even though that’s a part of learning to drive! He is not fit for being an instructor in any way. He once asked me if “I had a problem with my hearing skills” baring in mind he knew full well I had ASD, and never once took any consideration or understanding of my needs. ( it takes me a bit of time to process instruction) even when I informed him of this, he gave 0 consideration. He is not fit for teaching people with disabilities in any way, and he does not deserve the certificate to prove this! He forced me to go to lunch with him everyday, which made me feel so uncomfortable! Some days leaving me in tears in the car because of how horrible he was to me. On top of all of this, he decided to cancel out on taking me to test, on the actual test day! The only decent thing he’d done this whole time, was give me another instructors number! He never showed me the routes around Folkestone, as in his words “he doesn’t understand the area”, and “you don’t need to know the roads anyway” is what he said to me. Pointing out that he has 20 years driving experience, and he copes fine. Giving 0 consideration of the fact that I am a learner, and don’t have much experience on the roads, especially Folkestone! He then blamed me for the fact that “my driving wasn’t very good”. Harry did nothing but flatten my confidence as a learner driver. On top of all of this, on test day I got 9 minors and 1 serious fault! Luckily, the driving instructor who covered for Harry, took me on as his own pupil and I passed just over a week ago, with only 1 minor! On top of this, he messaged me to delete my previous review on the day I passed my driving test! He did nothing but argued on all of the above statements! Accusing me of lying and saying that the “information I am giving is untrue and inaccurate” All because it is the truth and he doesn’t want to admit his faults as an instructor! I do not recommend you go with Harry if you want to learn to drive, he is not fit for being an instructor and if you want your confidence knocked and your money taken away from You got ahead! But it is not worth the money!!

Fantastic experience: Harry is an amazing instructor! I had so much trouble with other instructors and took 10 years of learning in total. I am a very nervous driver but Harry is very good at teaching you to be a safe driver and be aware of danger on the road. He is very reliable and pushes you when needed. Fantastic experience: Harry, amazing person and instructor. I liked his instruction method. He silently observes how you are driving and what mistakes you are making. Then, he will ask you to pull up somewhere safe and go over each of your mistakes one by one. He explains very clearly what was the mistake and what might have been done instead. With his help, I passed my driving test. I definitely recommend you to take your driving lessons with Harry.

Fantastic experience: I met Harry through a friend, who was also full of praise for him. He helped me pass my exam with only a week of intensive training course. Throughout the training, I found Harry to be very professional and clear with his instructions. He gets his message across very directly and will point out the exact mistakes you're making. I would definitely recommend Harry to anyone looking for an intensive training course before their test.

Fantastic experience: I am speaking for myself and the experiences I had with this guy called Harry, he is devoted and committed to this job, within a week of meeting him all my worries became a bygone and I passed my test, I’m super convinced with his ability to communicate with everyone that crosses path with him, no matter your nationality, tribe or locality, Harry treats everyone equally, I’m also pleased with his lessons and the efforts he puts into getting his students ready for the test both physically and mentally. I won’t stop referring him to my friends who needs the services in order to pass their tests as well. Fantastic experience: My intensive training course with Mr Debling was a great success. Harry has great attention to detail and even taught me on his birthday which is appreciated greatly, and taught me to a very high level of driving standard which lead me to passing my test. I would recommend him to anyone willing to take an intensive course in an automatic or anyone wanting to take lessons in an automatic car.

Negative experience: For some reason my previous review got deleted, Harry is horrible , ignorant , arrogant , racist and not fit to teach pupils. I have video proof of him telling me the day before my test i was bad , gonna fail and that he will not put his instructor licence in the window so his reputation would not look bad if I failed. He then no showed on the day of my test and when I told him I passed he said "I don't believe you and that it cant have been a tidy pass". As you can see from the other reviews he would constantly stop for breaks when not needed. Harry I know you will see this and remember who I am, you will not deny what I'm saying as i have shown you the video proof of the stuff you said to me. Avoid at all cost, should have his instructors licence ripped from him.

Negative experience: Definitely avoid at all costs had so many issues with this instructor constantly moving my tests as-well as double booking me with another student so my courses was postponed Took advantage of me being pregnant which resulted in me asking for a full refund of my intensive courses which he wasn’t l willing to do at first and it took him 6 months of instalments to repay me!

Fantastic experience: My intensive driving course with Mr Debling was an abject success, quickly teaching me to drive well enough that I passed my driving test first time. I would recommend one of Harry's courses to anyone wanting to get on the road quickly. In particular I would recommend Harry's course to any people with autism who want to learn to drive. I have autism myself, and worked very well with Harry.

Fantastic experience: Great instructor! Would highly recommend Harry for anyone wanting to learn how to drive. Harry had taken me on with such short notice and a very close test date and has worked hard to fit me in doing a semi intensive course prior test date. His help and teaching, resulted me passing my test first time with only one minor! He also gave me the privilege to drive to other areas and to learn on new roads. Couldn’t be any more prouder of my result.

Negative experience: Rude, arrogant, impatient and extremely unprofessional. When you fail your test he'll most likely tell you he didn't think you were ready anyway, just thought he'd let you give it a go whilst smirking (not like failing is enough to then be greeting to this) and repeat it more then once (although in his T&C's say he won't let you take a test if you're not ready) and then drives off in a mood. If his ID badge is of the window when you're having your test that'll be the reason and he will make that more then clear making you feel 10x worse then the result. Will discuss his other students with you in horrible ways i.e telling me he's going to call one of his students to ask if she's got stomach issues because her breath was bad. Rather then allow you to rectify your mistakes when LEARNING to drive, shouts and speaks over you making most lessons uncomfortable. Come off the phone to a people enquiring and then moan about them about how it'll be a waste of time. Makes you sit in a car park whilst he eats and sits on his phone in the time you have paid for even when you've had multiple breaks. Paid over £800 to have my confidence knocked. The list goes on.

Fantastic experience: Saw an advert on Facebook that Harry was offering the opportunity of lessons in person's own car due to his being out of use, I contacted Harry. We opted for 12hours included test fees. I also made Harry aware I have Borderline Personality Disorder, Harry was amazing at asking questions to help him understand the disorder, none were too personal, but I felt better being asked about how it affects me, rather than someone assuming. Harry's training was second to none. He was stern when needed, helped me to tidy up areas I was seriously lacking in. Although not all 12 hours were carried out, due to travel issues, I understood, as Harry's car was off the road, hence using mine and I was refunded what we didn't use, But none the less the overall training was spot on for me achieving a pass with only two driver faults. Now I feel I need to be a bit more transparent than others that have left reviews. Harry does not "make you" have lunch with him. He stops for 2 breaks over the 6 hour period. Your not forced to sit with him. You could stretch your legs or walk around the shop. But being me, I'd rather have a coffee, Something to eat and company. Lastly, I see many stating Harry shouts, I'd call it more a stern word than shouting. However this can be understood, Harry openly states he is on the autistic spectrum. Please look it up if you're not aware. It will help you understand more.. this means his instructions are very black and white. Which can come across as shouting. But it's just the way it's programmed and by doing this he is also ensuring you are doing the upmost best you can to reach test level standards to pass. I hope this helps someone as I would 100% recommend Harry as a driving instructor. Not only have I passed with only 2 driving faults. But I feel I've received the best criticism to make my driving experience more confident and comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Harry was very accommodating when I got in touch with him just days before my driving test, as my previous instructor had suddenly refused to take me, claiming I wasn’t ready (which I didn’t feel was the case). Harry booked me in for an assessment at short notice and gave positive feedback for my driving, which was a great boost to my confidence as I’d actually begun to second-guess myself. Although he wasn’t available for my original test, he offered me a cancellation just a week later – which I've just passed! I wasn’t familiar with the area of the test, but did 7 hours of intensive driving with Harry to familiarise myself and iron out any issues. I found him to be a very good teacher in terms of the guidance and tips he gave me. Also his general demeanour put me at ease and I was comfortable asking questions, requesting to go over certain things etc. Thanks so much again!

Negative experience: AVOID. I paid Harry for a 3 day intensive. Harry took me through the first day. Where I had travelled hours to get to. Throughout the first day, Harry kept on making comments about how I am a typical Essex girl and fall in to the stereotype of stupid when I had done something wrong. I didn't say much in that regards as I just wanted to get my lessons done. I returned back to my hotel room in tears. He repeatedly spoke to me in a very condescending manner the whole time making comments about my driving and shouting. I explained if I knew how to drive perfectly I wouldn’t be taking lessons. He made me feel very uncomfortable and made me go to lunch with him. After the first day, Harry told me that I needed more lessons on top of what I had already paid him. He constantly text me after the first day to cancel my already booked test on the basis that I wasn't ready when this wasn’t agreed.He didn't care about the £62 I was loosing. He only refunded half of my money too when I paid him over 700 pounds.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend harry at wheels in motion, he was kind enough to fit me in for a 3 day intensive course with steering adaptions on such a sort notice, he was extremely professional and took all my needs into consideration I passed my test on the third day, couldn’t of asked for a better driving instructor to get me through.

Negative experience: Disappointed! Being a person with special needs and after waiting for three month to start my driving lessons,first day I was told the car brake down, second day he couldn't wake up in time... rescheduled for 12.00 pm and dropped again 10 minutes before the lesson... finally left with an excusing text and told that in fact it is not really convenient for him as driving to Ashford and back takes 2 hours for 2 hours of learning, lots of excuses all after knowing the situtaion since July. Where is the professionalism and integrity Harry??

Fantastic experience: I recently took an intensive course with harry. He was able to fit me in and rearrange my test date after being let down massively by an intensive driving school. I had some previous driving experience but Harry was able to quickly identify the areas I needed to work on and would base our lessons around this. He not only taught me what I needed to pass, but actually showed me how to be a good driver and even took me thru motorway driving and other areas that are not required to pass the test. Harry made me feel very comfortable thought out our time together and was very good at calming my anxiety. I initially failed my first two test, being pregnant I really let my nerves get the better of me, but each time harry was able to find me another test date within good time, even with all the back log and third time round we finally got the pass!! It was a pleasure getting to know harry and if you are looking for someone to not only help you pass, but to teach you how to be a good driver I would definitely recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time with Harry, he is a such a good instructor. He stepped in when I was let down by another driving school and was able to get me a test date booked in at a time when there was a huge backlog. He is patient but firm when needed and he dealt with all my anxiety/stress really well. He very quickly identified my weak points and what needed to be worked on, and his policy of teaching people to drive rather than just pass a test means that I am a far more confident and able driver than I ever thought I would be. Fantastic experience: I passed my test yesterday after doing a week long intensive course with Harry. I decided to go with Harry as he has lots of experience teaching students with specific learning difficulties. Harry's approach was excellent and he explained things clearly calmly. Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Harry for driver training. As someone who hadn't driven for a number of years, and who had completely lost their driving confidence as a consequence, I required intensive lessons in an automatic car to regain the basic skills needed to get back out in the road and Harry was most accommodating in ensuring that I got the tuition I required. I've just completed 2 days of training with Harry which I found most useful and of great help.

I found booking driving lessons was easy and simple. The service I received was always professional and friendly. Negative experience: AVOID this man. My daughter's just returned home in tears, he's rude arrogant and extremely unprofessional. He changed her test date and told her she will never drive as she's useless. He'd changed her test date to an area she didn't know, cancelled a lesson at aafter the time he should have arrived, I could go on.Also it was her first time in an automatic and has previously been driving a manual. A very rude arrogant man.

Fantastic experience: Just finished my intensive course with Harry and after failing 5 attempts at a manual years ago I opted to give Harry and his intensive course a go, and today I finally passed, I can honestly say Harry will do all he can to make you feel comfortable and teaches knowledge on all basis of driving he taught me real road confidence and not just test standards so honestly can't recommend him enough! Thank you once again

Fantastic experience: Harry was very helpful and fitted our daughter in at late notice for her test due to our house and old instructor refusing to travel. Harry was helpful in our daughters test nerves and was able to get a very quick re-test for her Once passed our daughter feels confident and is very happy to have achieved.

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs. Harry changed my test date without my permission to a date 3 months ahead at a completely different test centre and lied to me saying “The DVSA moved it” but I contacted the DVSA and they said they didn’t move the test. Harry is the only person with my test details so it was clearly him and he has now been ignoring my all my messages.

Negative experience: Just over a month before my driving test Harry tells me he can no longer help me and be my instructor no warning or anything, in the times we are in now I think this is disgusting, highly recommend not going with thus instructor extremely unprofessional and unorganised also looking at all of the other bad reviews and seeing how harry reacts is also very unprofessional and im not surprised at many of them as he came across very creepy making me call him all the time to supposedly talk about lessons ect, I had to cancel a lesson due to being in hospital due to blood clot in lungs and then he suddenly drops me... disgusting behaviour on his part also this review will not be removed as people need to know how you treat students

Fantastic experience: After looking at the wheels in motion website found that Harry is a enhanced member of disability driving instructors. I contact Harry to discuss having some lessons in his adapted automatic car. We discussed at length about my needs and what my requirements would be for lessons, as I have been driving a normal car for around 15 years I just required training on the hand controls and steering ball. I've had never driven a adapted car nor a automatic (which i now need to have so i can drive) Harry listened to my needs and we booked the 1st of 2 2 hour familiarisation lessons. Upon meeting Harry for the first time, I found him very professional, understanding and pleasant. The first lesson, after showing me how the hand controls worked in conjunction with a steering ball. I took control for the rest of the lesson, with Harry giving me guidance/training as I was driving. The second lesson was more of the same, a full 2 hours driving at night, in a city and on a main "A" road. If you require some familiarisation training or need to learn in an automatic car you cant go wrong with "wheels in motion" highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Harry is understanding and calm. He builds your confidence and finds way for you to understand things. On our intensive course we travelled wide and far. I failed my test a few times due to nervous but he built me up and helped me every step of the way. Thank you for everything you have done especially during these unusual times.

Positive experience: Harry was at times very direct, However, I saw this as constructive criticism and didn't take it personally, as I needed a thorough instructor! I passed my test on Wednesday :)

Negative experience: Dishonest Driving Instructor! I paid Harry for a 3 day intensive course as another instructor had recommended him to me. Harry took me through the first day within which he probably thought he had found someone to "milk" as I am 5 months pregnant and desperate to pass my practical test. Throughout the first day, Harry kept on making sly racist comments about how ethnic minorities were bad drivers. I didn't say much in that regards as I just wanted to get my lessons done. Also, Harry continuously and repeatedly spoke to me in a very condescending manner as he thought I was a mere hotel receptionist, I actually didn't tell him my occupation on purpose. After the first day, Harry told me that I needed more lessons on top of what I had already paid him, £560! He said to me he was not looking to "milk" me! He cancelled my already booked test on the basis that I wasn't ready. He didn't care about the £62 I was loosing. He then made me pay for another driving test and a test cancellation finder fee £17 even though I explicitly told him I already had an account. Harry started to be evasive and not replying to my messages when I started asking him to provide me with reference numbers of the tests he had supposedly booked on my behalf. He has since then refused to refund my 2 days in credit back plus £17 for test cancellation finder fee neither has he provided me with any references. He offered to complete the 2 days in credit with him but I made it known to him clearly that I cannot work with him due to his dishonesty but he is still refusing to refund my money with the excuse that he is broke! Stay away from this guy as he's really giving driving instructors a bad name!!! I'm still awaiting my refund!!!

Positive experience: I have just passed my Automatic Driving Test second time round with Harry Debling from Wheels In Motion Driving School. I unfortunately lost 16 hours of training with Harry previous to my tests, due to illness (my end not Harry's). I finally passed with only 6 faults, thanks to Harry. My review would be 5 stars, however I felt that sometimes the way that Harry spoke was very abrupt, and sometimes seemed as rude, and rather off putting. Despite that, Harry is a good instructor and that issue can be overlooked. Harry's communication with me as his pupil was excellent and I cannot fault it. If you're looking for an automatic driving instructor, I would definitely recommend Harry Debling, Wheels In Motion.
