Fantastic experience: Very good service and customer service
Negative experience: They failed my bike MOT on a fork seal which had water on it and not oil. The bike was ridden 100 miles from Brighton to a different MOT test centre in Essex and there was no sign of any oil which would indicate a seal failure. It went straight through the second MOT, passed. This meant I had to pay for MOT twice. Waste of money, would recommend getting your MOT done elsewhere

During the MOT inspection, our tester identified a significant leak from the fork, which was shown and explained to your father. While he suggested it might have been water initially, the dust seal was removed and the area was thoroughly dried. Despite this, each subsequent inspection revealed a continued leak, indicative of a potential issue with the fork seal. We cannot comment on the integrity of the MOT conducted at the other test center where the bike passed. However, it’s important to note that if, after riding 100 miles, there was no visible leak, this could raise concern that the fork fluid might have completely leaked out, which could compromise the bike’s safety and performance. Negative experience: You guys need to start only advertising on scooters, if the delivery riders aren't riding dangerously, just had one right up behind me, really making your business look bad, especially when they start swearing at you in a different language. Not even the first I've encountered. Pick up your game. Want to add, I'm not the only other biker out who thinks this, it's just making us all avoid your business.

Negative experience: Might look the part from the outside, but poor service and inexperienced mechanics who haven't got much a clue. Also took way too long to do basic stuff. Don't be fooled by the front of house who try to charm you. Took my bike to another place to do what they should have done. All in all if you need an oil change or service, Then this is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: Superb staff, superb bikes, and service department. Also, they sell some great gear to wear. Support them with a visit... we're losing all of our fully comprehensive bike shops. Just think about it, ignore your screens and get outside and visit them!!
Negative experience: Tried to rip off 16 year old. Took my bike to DG motorcycles in Hangleton road for an MOT ONLY. After informing me about the bike not passing, i received a text on whatsapp what’s wrong with the bike etc. I replied immediately telling them I would like to collect the bike and get some quotes for the work. After coming back to their store to collect my bike, i was told it had passed the MOT, confused but curious i talked to a man at the front desk and he handed me a piece of paper with a bill of £90 including the MOT. Claiming they had replaced a brake light bulb (costs £1) and re lubed indicator wires. Therefore charging me an excess of £60. Trying to pull a fast one on a 16 year old. I called a family member and whilst outside on the phone the man serving me suddenly changed his tune about having no consent to do any work on my bike. Apologised constantly and only charged me £30. Be careful, I cannot consider them trust worthy after this and will not be returning.

JR always greats you with a smile and a hello “mr dean” usually. The lady who also works the front desk is super friendly. 10/10 will be using DG for the forceable future

Fantastic experience: I score DG Motorcycles 10 out of 10. Friendly warm and welcoming staff. The mechanics and workshop have an excellent level of execution and service / skill while being informative about works that needs to be carried out. Video strip down of the bike sent for clarity on works needed or suggested. All at a reasonable price. Highly recommended. They also have a riding school so ill be going there for my full bike test via DACS.

Negative experience: Waste of time. Called up about a fireblade advertised on autotrader. Was told it was available for viewing in the showroom. Turned up to find bike is not in the showroom & told to wait 20 minutes. Returned half an hour later to be told to wait a minute. Stood there for a further 10 minutes waiting to be shown the bike. Still not seen it. Cash buyer ready. What rubbish sales .

Fantastic experience: Have been using them since i past my test 2 years ago, super friendly and helpful service and very knowledgeable in the repairs shop, They even purchased a Kawasaki engine management lead so as could diagnose my Kawasaki Z900 Highly recommended
Negative experience: Left bike with them for well over a week before they even started to order the part in so took it to anther garage and they sorted it with ease. Only thing I can say is the price there was better just sad they took the piss with time ( the most valuable and important part for many in this business )

Fantastic experience: I came in for an Emergency chain repair, after I broke down on the A27. The friendly staff took my bike in and told me what needed doing. Within a few hours I was back on the road for less cost than I initially expected.

Fantastic experience: Just had my bike in for a tyre replacement and chain adjustment, dropped bike in this morning, wasted quoted higher on the phone than it ended up costing so that was a bonus, they were also the only garage in sussex that could fit me in with 2 days notice, when arrived i could see they had a few bikes at the workshop so they were busy, however they still managed to fit me in and get it done the lady behind the desk was happy and helpful which is always nice too. Everything was extremely smooth, got a call in the afternoon to let me know it had been done.

Fantastic experience: As a new rider going to a bike shop with a problem can feel a-bit daunting, especially when mechanical knowledge is limited and being unfamiliar with price of certain parts/repairs. I’ve been coming here for a year now and these guys have been super friendly and transparent from the get go and have been really quick on solving/fixing bike issues and all at a fair price too - a great relief. The team there are all great but special shout-out to Dario (one of the mechanics) who has always had time to come take a look at my bike and has gone above and beyond getting it running well in good time. Also to Junior in the shop for being super friendly, giving out great advice and always being helpful Overall I would definitely recommend these guys if you need work doing or need some advice. There’s also some really sweet bikes to check out in the show room, and they have a useful selection of bike gear/accessories too
Fantastic experience: Starting problem with my Fazer, which another garage had given up on, was quickly and efficiently fixed. Other small problems were fixed without me asking (stiff clutch) and the bike was even washed

Positive experience: Everything about this garage is good except if you have a bike with a key fob lock they will leave your bike outside unlocked. It's not difficult to hold the lock button for a couple seconds is it. Multiple times when they worked on my bike inturn up and he's left outside UNLOCKED. Including last time.

Being a novice rider it’s always worrying trying to find a garage I can trust but DG have been and will continue to be my garage of choice! Their staff are informative, helpful and will go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right! I’ve had soo much respect and consideration from the team when my bike is in for an MOT or service. They explain in detail any work required and why, supplemented with outstanding communication which gives me complete trust and reassure in the service. Their MOT tester Daryl is always honest and reliable to ensure you are 100% safe on your motorcycle he personally assures if any work needs doing it is done to an absolute quality standard.
Fantastic experience: I needed a new tyre and belt putting on my GTS300 Vespa. After the work was completed, I was shown photos and a video of the work in progress and finished. I know that some mechanics have been paid to do work that can't be seen and actually just did nothing. This has given me great confidence with their work. I also had a problem after the work, not their fault, a part failure, they were so honest and upfront. I totally trust them and will not now go anywhere else now. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I took my Royal Enfield in for a service and MOT after a lay up period. There was also an oil leak issue which another garage hadn’t resolved. They also discovered that there was a fault with the valve seat. Long story short they certainly went the extra mile to sort it all out. I’ve never had such good service and excellent communication, via WhatsApp, with videos showing work in progress. I wouldn’t take my bike anywhere else now. It came back looking immaculate having arranged delivery yesterday. Running like it should now. Thanks you to everyone at DG!

Fantastic experience: These guys are by far the best motorbike service and shop that I could experienced in UK. Actually not just in UK.. Friendly, with deep knowledge about what they are doing and affordable price. That's the place for we all in Sussex..More than recommend.. I've done services like. Fantastic experience: I rung these guys as my mirror had come loose and was swinging around, and i wanted to pop in and get it sorted as I was worried it was going to fall off . It was a really basic issue but they asked me to send my work address to them instead , within 20 mins they were there ,tightened my mirror and left . They were absolutely brilliant, asked how much I owed and they said nothing as it was only a minutes work. What great guys , will definitely use them again .

Fantastic experience: After a very bad experience with a different motorcycle garage, I was very apprehensive about using anyone else for my son's moped. I have no experience with motorbikes/mopeds so this has been a learning curve for both myself and my son. I can't fault DG Motorcycles, they kept me informed and were very patient while waiting for an original part to be able to finish the job and the costs were very reasonable. Fantastic experience: This is a hidden gem! Don't be fooled by a bunch of mopeds stored outside, they do actually work on a motorcycles and do all kind of jobs for great prices. And I mean rebuilding engines kind of things, not just replacing chains. I left my ducati with them for valve adjustement and front suspension rebuild and they did an amazing job for a fraction of a cost compared to ducati or other garages. Not to mention most don't even work on Italian bikes. They ordered OEM parts (shims) for me from Italy and didn't ask for a penny until the job was done. To rebuild forks, they advised what bushings I should get and I found a great deal, and provided it for them. They kept updating me with the progress and sent me loads of pictures of their work on my bike. They gave me old valve shims to sell them on ebay as they're quite pricy, and gave me a note with old and new clearances for my information. I know a fair bit about motorcycles and know they did a good job. There was a little hiccup, not worth mentioning as they sorted it out immediately. If you're in any doubt, just speak to them, these guys know what they're doing. I know they're inot making custom motorcycles, or parts, so if you need anything, they've got plasma cutter and all sorts of things :) In fact, they've helped me to make a clear clutch cover for a wet clutch ducati and it looks amazing! There is no better place around, these guys are doing a fantastic job for next to nothing! I will be coming back :)

Fantastic experience: Really good, excellent value and quick and efficient. I thought i might have a pretty big electrical problem but it turned out to just be some loose wiring. Fixed that as well as fixing the horn and sorting out one of the rear indicators which was loose, both jobs that had been missed by other garages that I have used in the past. On this experience I would highly recommend DG.

Fantastic experience: The guys at DG Motorcycle Services have been amazing. Wether it's the changing of a rear tyre to the strip down and clean of filters and replacement of a fuel tank. They go the extra mile. My vtr pictured with black and white camo needed a whole load of work done. I was kept informed about every process and the cost options discussed with me before any work was undertaken. From a 50cc scooter to 1200cc beast, give them a call. You won't be disappointed!!

Hi Yilmaz, I understand if you don’t want to come to us anymore due to the fact that you are not happy about the tyre price, however you were told about the price for the tyre and labour before it was done and you agreed with the job to go ahead. As always we aim to give you the best experience we can and I understand that sometimes we may not be able to when it comes to parts like tyres and other genuine stuff as we don’t get much margins and therefore cant drop the price lower than what we pay. Regards to the mirror I just checked on our CCTV which i can share with you, The Mechanic went to get the spanner to adjust it and you just left before he got back. You mention that you were Ripped off which I think is really unfair since you asked us to change your brake pads and after inspecting your brakes it was noticed that the brake pads still have over 50% life on it, if ripping customers off was our intention we wouldn’t let you know that you didn’t need new brake pads. I do hope you can think over the feedback you gave us and reconsider using us in the future. Best regards Dil
Fantastic experience: My moped engine was ruined, they priced up repairs but without prompting they found a cheaper secondhand option on-line and very affordably swapped the engines over. Quick, good value and incredibly helpful.

Fantastic experience: No your mistake was the fact that you diddnt stress how much money you were helping me with especially as you serviced it for free which I also forgot about.. Its just hard to trust a small business from another country especially when your young, living alone and don't have much money. I obviously noticed it straight away but diddnt have the money to get it fixed.
Good morning Jasper, I am really sorry you felt you been overcharged for the Job we have done for you last week. But I really would like you to remember that the labour for the job you had done the first time was dropped just because you told me you couldn’t afford to spend much and only had one hundred and something that week. So I felt I could help as you were so polite and looked to me as a kind person. I realise now that I made a mistake and for future I should just stick to the business side and treat all customers the same to avoid it happen again. It also hurts me to see on your negative feedback that you mentioned that we created a air bubble on your rear brake line, when you didn’t even have nothing done on your rear brake system despite the fact that you would notice it just now months after you took your bike back. I believe you know the results of a negative feedback Jasper and I wish you could have given me the opportunity to explain ourselves before you published that online. I would like you to know that if we were to charge you as we should have according to our labour charging data base, it would have costed you just on labour over 2.8 hours. But as I said for trying to be nice I manage to earn ourselves an upset customer and a negative feedback.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic garage. Having used most garages in the local area, none have come close to the level of customer service and care taken by these guys. Highly knowledgeable guys and an extremely fast turnaround (every time my bikes gone in for work, it has come out the same day). Highly highly highly recommended!
