Fantastic experience: The training provided by Biker School Glasgow has been by far the best training I've ever received, in any subject. I had never sat on a bike before doing my CBT with this lot. The CBT day was excellent, spoon fed all the way through and time was taken for extra help in certain areas when needed. Onto DAS, most of my training was done with Alan, who has a great way of making a serious point when one needs to be made, but not dwelling on it and then it's up to you to take what he's said on board and learn from it....after all that's why you're there! The training and routes were varied, out with other learners of different capabilities and the feedback was great throughout. Mod 1 AND Mod 2 in the bag, I almost wish I could do it all again....almost! Thanks again to all from Biker School Glasgow!

Fantastic experience: Hi All, I Went from never sat on a motorcycle, to passing my test in less than 6 weeks. I can only thank all the team at biker school, for their knowledge, patience & professionalism in helping me obtaining my full motorcycle licence. The team are all friendly and approachable and if your lucky enough Alan might tell you some his brilliant jokes. My partner is currently undergoing her training to gain her (DAS) as there is nowhere else i would recommend to her. . Cheers Danny

Negative experience: Undoubtedly the least professional service I've ever used. Supposed to be accommodating for CBT beginners, unless you don't get it within the first few minutes it they give up and ask you to leave. I'll not say anything about the foul-mouthed "instructor" that did nothing but swear and complain. Avoid at all costs!!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic experience here with both Bruce and Alan. Booked a DAS course and got through both MOD1 and MOD2 in no time. This school has the added advantage of being next to the DVSA test centre, so you get plenty of MOD1 practice and doing every lesson in the area makes test day just feel like another lesson! 100% without a doubt recommend over any other schools in the area

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with the quality of the Instruction I was given when I went for a “Return to Biking” session. I’d never actually stopped biking but I was aware that my self taught skills of half a century ago needed lot of polishing up. Bruce was excellent in identifying what I was doing incorrectly and teaching me the correct, and safe, way to do it. I’m going to practice my new found skills, and book another session before long. Thank you for a fantastic couple of hours.

Fantastic experience: Passed my motorbike test today and I would never go anywhere else! All of my training was of an excellent quality, and I felt incredibly supported despite not being the most confident of riders. All of the equipment is very well taken care of and I never had any issues using the bikes. I would definitely recommend doing your training here!

Fantastic experience: If you're thinking about training I'd highly reccomend Biker School Glasgow. I found everyone in the team exceptionally helpful, from booking lessons and tests to the actual training. Starting the training I found the figure of 8s and u-turns very difficult, so much so Alan actually manually pushed me around on the bike showing exactly where to turn/look/steer etc, that couldn't have been easy, I'm not the lightest guy. The point is, they'll do whatever is needed to get you doing it correctly. I booked a DAS course and went from excpetionally nervous novice, gradually building confidence to full license. I can't thank thank everyone there enough. Not one bad experience the whole time I was there. If you're thinking about training don't put it off, get down to Biker School Glasgow, you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: I sat my cbt test at this centre, the staff are brilliant as they help you with everything you need to know, the staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed which helped settle me down and I felt ready to hit the road for the few hours with my instructor, then GREAT NEWS I passed my test now I have the freedom to venture out on my new bike, thanks biker school, if you to want to pass your cbt test so that you can legally drive I would highly recommend using biker school, the staff are great they explain everything you need to know in a very simple but effective way, once they see you are ready to go onto the public roads they take you out for a few hours and fingers crossed you did well enough to pass,

Fantastic experience: Booked the DAS course to obtain my full A licence with Biker School Glasgow, and I passed my Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time. Alan was my instructor for most of the course, and I went out with Bruce prior to my Mod 2 test for a pre test ride. Both guys are fantastic and really know their stuff. Every lesson I was out with Alan I learned something new, he was patient with any mistakes I made, explained things clearly to ensure they didn’t keep happening, and I felt more comfortable each time I went out on the road with him. We ironed out any creases in my riding and I feel more confident and safe on the roads as a result. I am over-joyed that I have obtained my A licence and would like to thank everyone at Biker School Glasgow for their support during my training course. I would highly recommend them, and I will make sure to improve on everything they have taught me.

Fantastic experience: Used Biker School Glasgow back in August and September last year to gain my direct access to motorcycling. Took me from a total novice who had never ridden a bike from CBT right through to fully licensed on the road ensuring I passed both mod 1 and mod 2 first time all with in the space of 6 weeks. Couldn't recommend these guys enough and glad I choose them for my training.

Fantastic experience: Biker School Glasgow is a brilliant place to learn how to ride. I went through the DAS course and from my communication with Catherine and Lauren over the phone / emails and my instruction with Bruce and sometimes Alan, my experience was nothing but positive. Even Bruce's jokes were okay. My schedule was a bit all over the place but they went out of their way to sort a schedule and tests for me. Bruce and Alan were great and like all decent instructors (I work in education) they let you know what needs to improve (without any shouting too - all very calm) but also let you know what went right to boost confidence. I feel as though I've learned how to ride safely and not just plonked on a bike. The bikes are great and are well maintained too. If you're after any bike course from CBT to DAS, I can't recommend Biker School enough.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best rider training school in Glasgow. I came for direct access and was very impressed by Alan and Bruce's knowledge and training ability. They keep you riding correctly the entire time you are out with them, pointing out even the smallest adjustments to improve your riding in order to obtain your license. They know the roads well and will train you on a wide variety of junctions and road situations designed to make you think about your judgement that ultimately keep you safe and make you a better rider. They keep the tone light and will have a laugh if you're doing well, this really helps you enjoy the learning process. I've tried to think of any negatives but apart from some of Alan's bad jokes lol this is a great school and I would recommend to anyone check it out.

Fantastic experience: I booked in with Biker School Glasgow in December 2021 to get my lessons (direct access) in January/February 2022. The bikes are all well maintained, comfortable (well maybe not the 125's for someone who is quite tall) and the intercoms are cleaned before use and are easy to hear the instructors voice when on rides. From the first lesson on the 125's then onto the 650's the training was structured, enjoyable and very informative. MOD 1 passed without any issues but a hiccup on the MOD 2 meant another had to be booked which they were able to get me in on the minimum wait of 10 working days (cost for this was £120). Thankfully successful on the second attempt and straight home to get the first ride on my own bike. I can't recommend Biker School Glasgow enough!

Fantastic experience: I did my DAS course with biker school in December 2021 and I’m so glad i did it with this school. From initially booking the course with Laura, it felt like they went out there way to make a really good training plan that worked around me. Initial impressions from the training yard and bikes that they have are brilliant, you can clearly see that they take care of their equipment. The training that was provided by the two instructors that i trained with, (Alan & Bruce) was top notch. From the instructions that they were giving and also highlighting any faults with my riding, could not have been faulted. They were also able to improve my riding confidence greatly. I ended up passing both MOD 1&2 first time, which was definitely a reflection on the instructors. Thanks again to everybody at biker school!

Fantastic experience: I went here after another driving school basically told me I couldn’t ride a bike - after 10 lessons. Sat and passed my MOD 1 within 1 month. Waiting for my MOD2 date - wish me luck! They guys and girls re-installed my confidence and had me on a 650 after one lesson. The difference in instruction was night and day. They even have lowered bike for us who are vertically challenged - I’m 5’1” on a good day! Excellent all round Bike School!

Fantastic experience: I started training with Biker School in October, with only 2 experiences of CBT previously, and despite my occasional tears and inability to distinguish between right and left at times during the lessons, I ended up passing both Mod 1 & 2 first time. Alan and Bruce were both really knowledgeable and supportive instructors with years of experience (and also very patient!) and the staff in the office were lovely and helpful. The Biker School premises are also really clean and well kept and everything is really well looked after. I thought that the instructors were genuinely invested in each learner and the class sizes are small so you get a lot of experience on the road and on the test routes with a high standard of training - and their number one priority was safety for the learners. Passing with Biker School has actually given me a boost of confidence and it’s hard to describe how happy I was on November 2nd when I passed my final test - which seemed like a far-off, unattainable goal when I first began training! If Bruce and Alan hadn’t been so encouraging, then I doubt I would have had the self-belief to pass. I can now fully understand why it really is all about the clutch and I can’t wait for next spring to buy my first bike. I am so glad I chose the excellent Biker School and I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone thinking of getting their motorbike licence. Thanks a million Biker school!

BikerSchool quickly and efficiently sorted me out with a lesson schedule and test dates thanks to the lovely admin staff. Absolutely fantastic rider training school with top instructors. Allan, Bruce and Nori where brilliant instructors and built my confidence up allowing me ride safely and effectively. Through the fantastic training I managed to pass both Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time!! Would highly recommend Biker School Glasgow to anyone interested in motorbikes. Fantastic experience: I have always wanted to get my full motorbike licence but it was always something I didn’t think I would ever be able to achieve. I am so glad I picked Biker School Glasgow to help me through my journey – it was the best choice I made (other than choosing to learn riding a bike in the first place!!). It was reviews like this that made it an easy decision for me, so I want to only add to the pile of positivity. I had never ridden a bike before my CBT. The day was well structured, very informative, and we were practicing on the bikes after a couple of hours. The professionalism and patience was mind blowing considering I think I stalled it about 20 times in succession. Despite this, the instruction was fantastic and encouragement meant that I was able to complete my CBT within the day. I was reluctant to go straight into my DAS training but I knew it was the right decision for me as soon as I started. As a shift worker, finding times for lessons was difficult. However, the team designed a training programme that was perfect for me and exactly as I’d requested. This meant that my DAS training was spread out over several months, rather than several weeks. While this is something I thought would help my lack of confidence, it was more challenging on myself with weeks between lessons. This meant that I couldn’t be more grateful for the team who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Alan and Norrie, you picked me up when I was struggling (quite literally, picked me up when I fell off on my U-turns) but Bruce was in a class of his own and I owe it to him for shaping me into the rider I am now. When you’ve watched someone practice U-turns for the best part of 3 hours, and they are still there giving tips to help you nail it, that to me is the perfect instructor. The team at Biker School clearly want their students to succeed. I want to thank you all for getting me through my DAS training (1st time!) and for giving me the self-belief that I needed while still having so much fun! Look no further if you’re considering learning to ride a bike – you should undoubtedly head to Biker School.

Fantastic experience: I went from never sitting on a motorbike to full licence in 3 weeks with Biker School. I could have chosen a Motorbike Training School closer to home but given the reviews both through Google and via a friends Facebook account I decided to go with Biker School. Biker School have a professional approach from the outset, dealing with the girls in the office getting booked in. Everything was well tailored to suit work/life pattern, professionally planned and easy to understand. I undertook training with Alan initially through CBT course and progressed to the DAS course the following week undertaking training with Alan and Bruce. From that 1st session I had serious doubts I was going to be able to get through this! Alan and Bruce are fantastic instructors, both have different approaches to instructing but both equally effective, every session was fun and informative. Every training session these guys import their knowledge and experience onto you and you can feel yourself getting more confident with each ride. These guys aren't just training you to pass the tests they're building you up for a lifetime of safe biking! Biker School have a superb pass rate for bikers progressing to Full Motorcycle licence. I certainly didn't make it easy for these guys to train me to full licence but it shows how good these guys are at what they do. I passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 - 1st time of asking because of these guys! If you are in two minds of what Biker Training School to go with, Biker School is the place to be. You certainly won't regret it, best decision I ever made

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Brilliant training passed my CBT after completing my day's training with them only problem which was( MY OWN FAULT )they very generously offer discounts to Blue card holders and Defence discount services which I never seen because I called to book my test and did not look on their website however I did mention to the lady on the phone I was ex military and she never mentioned that they offered discount with proof but due to the high level of service provided at the school I am more than happy to pay the full £140 test fee morale of the story always check websites and ask if the company you are dealing with offer discounts to ex armed force's or Emergency service workers as it's not their responsibility to point it out to you

Fantastic experience: Young Ewan here. I would like to thank the instructors for an absolutely wonderful day having undertaken the CBT and passing!! I can't express how informative and helpful both instructors were during all stages of the CBT. Both instructors left no stone unturned when it came to what to expect on the roads and just as important how to operate the motorcycle in a safe manner. Fantastic experience: I'd previously taken my CBT with another riding school in Glasgow but came to Biker School after a pal told me about their pass rates (a lot higher than the Test Centre's average!). I booked the Category A Direct Access (16 hours) and felt the hours offered, test fees, pre-test rides etc included in the package etc offered good value for money. Now that I've experienced it I can confidently say that it's excellent value for money. The quality of the instruction, friendliness of staff, and effort to be adaptable to you all excel anything I'd experienced before. (e.g. the weather was too dangerous to ride one day but Alan took me out for a narrated drive pointing out what he'd be looking for and what he'd be doing when riding. They didn't take this off of my paid time and it was much more informative than I was expecting (I've driven a car for years)). Biker School also offer a great level of customer care and include nice wee touches like complimentary chocolate, tea, coffee etc. in the break room. I risk sounding judgey here but I think it's important to share that whilst some biker schools, garages, and shops still have quite a 'locker-room'/old-fashioned culture/atmosphere (swearing, gay/sexist 'jokes' etc), Biker School Glasgow maintain a welcoming, non-judgemental and professional atmosphere and appear to genuinely care about all of their students. I'm now excited to have the Cat A licence and thank the amazing team at Biker School for helping me to feel confident and safe as I get to grips with riding a bike :)

Fantastic experience: Done my DAS with Biker School and couldn't recommend it highly enough!! Everyone there from reception to the instructors are just so welcoming and friendly. I had Alan, Bruce and Neil taking me through my lessons and they were all equally brilliant. They are so professional and explain everything so well without you feeling patronised and they make everything feel very relaxed whist delivering a very high standard of training. I really enjoyed every minute of it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this riding school.

Fantastic experience: So, having reached a certain age, and being bone idle for so many years, I got my finger out and did CBT. Alan was my instructor at the time (at a different school), however, all went well, and I persuaded (by way of a present) for my other half to do her CBT. Job done, we bought a pair of 125’s, and hot the road running. Flash forward a good bit and time is running out on the CBT. So what do we discover? Alan and his family have opened Biker School Glasgow. We immediately thought, “That’s the place”. In all seriousness, the level of tuition is beyond exceptional. The bikes are well maintained and well looked after, all of the staff we dealt with are phenomenal, and the overall feeling of the place is one of competence, which inspires confidence. Alan was our instructor for the best part. Very professional, very approachable, and critical in a way that makes you listen to what he’s saying, without lecturing. We cannot recommend this school highly enough. Even if there is closer, there’s none better.

Fantastic experience: I would never have gained my CBT certificate without the excellent instruction, patience and perseverance shown by both Allan and Bruce. Teaching took place in a friendly, supportive environment where everyone is eager for you to do well, with plenty of praise and constructive criticism where required. As a late entrant into riding, in my late fifties, I was somewhat hesitant but never felt out of place or that I wasn’t viewed as a valued customer. I really enjoyed my experience with Biker SchooI and can’t praise the staff highly enough, including Lauren on reception who is always friendly, organised and welcoming. Looking forward to returning to undertake my A licence in the near future. I would thoroughly recommend Biker School to anyone looking to take to the road on two wheels

I've been putting off my DAS for years but each and every person at Biker School is just lovely, down to earth, normal people who made both my wife and I feel so relaxed. So much so, after 1 refresher lesson I just went for it and now have my full license! Biker School offers real value for money with each lesson and learning plan personalised to what you as an individual need. I can't thank or rate them highly enough. Fantastic experience: Fantastic family run business. All staff and instructors are very friendly and full of knowledge. I carried out all of my training from CBT to full unrestricted licence and couldn't be happier with the results. Location is fantastic being so close to the test centre for practice. Facilities are extremely clean and the bikes are fresh from the dealership. Overall a great company with great people working there. Fantastic experience: training here was really good, all the staff were friendly and professional. no corners were cut and all the subjects and training covered were very helpful to a novice like myself. old or young you will start your biking here with good knowledge and help from an experienced rider (Bruce in my case) and hopefully go on to enjoy safely your time in riding motorbikes. cheers Ricky.

I have not been on a bike in 20 years and the guys made me feel like it was yesterday, from the minute I met the team I felt like I knew them for years, they have all the knowledge and any questions they will answer, I will 100% be back to do my full licence through this company

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend this company more. From the moment I enquired about taking my lessons at Biker School Glasgow to the moment I passed my CBT I received an 5* experience. If you are reading this review feeling nervous about getting started on your two wheel journey don't worry the team at Biker School Glasgow will make you feel relaxed and at ease. Their units are very modern incorporating an office, retail space, a waiting area and a classroom. The yard is spacious and they have had markings put on the yard which replicates road markings. The bike i was training on was new and the instructor went through the bike in detail to ensure i understood how to maintain them and how it worked. To make my day even better i got to play with the office dog on my break. Thank you again for everything and I look forward to completing my MOD 1 and MOD 2 with you guys in the near future.

To say I was a bit nervous to begin with is an understatement but everyone involved was incredibly patient and supportive (even Lola the dog!!) Would definitely recommend Allen and the Team and will absolutely be going back to Biker School when I feel ready to go for my full license.

Fantastic experience: Recently completed my DAS with Biker School after hearing about them at a Motorbike event. Everyone at Biker School was very friendly and welcoming and they managed to fit me in for lessons around my awkward work schedule. I had already been riding my 125 for just under a year but I learned so much from Allan in regards to controlling the bike and how to be a safer, better rider. They use new Kawaski z650's for their DAS lessons and they're great to learn on. I'd highly recommend visiting Biker School if you're looking to start your lessons and get yourself a bike or looking to move up to your full license. ☺

Fantastic experience: Reading a bunch of 5 star reviews that are all overly earnest can be a strange thing, at least for me it is. But for this small family run company, it’s really just happy, content customers trying to give back. Lauren was easy, swift and helpful to communicate with. Alan was effortlessly great to learn from. Bikes were perfect. Great set up. The learning process took me from a place of no confidence to zen. I looked forward to the sessions every time. Though involved in an accident that derailed their fleet they were there just trying to facilitate me. So to sum up, sad to see the back of them. Looking forward to affording a bike that I can come back and show off with aha. cheers for the good times
