Fantastic experience: I have just completed my full A bike license, on a 650cc, with BC. I started at the end of July and have managed to pass my final test today. Cannot recommend them enough. They regularly get test dates each week meaning you don’t have to wait too long to test. The training itself is very thorough, and up to a great standard!

He coaches you through the different exercises at a pace that suits you. Emma will pull out all the stops to ensure they don’t let you down with dates and times to suit you. Fantastic experience: I did my cbt 27th may 2024 and the 2 men I had were great and let me and the 16th year old have lots of practice untill we felt okay we went on the road and it was such a good ride out we both passed. They made us laugh and our nervous soon went away. Im wanting to do my mod 1 and mod 2 but need more experience on the road yet before I go for a full bike test

Negative experience: Absolutely load of rubbish my son had a CBT appointment of last Friday with his friend they emailed him to say that they could only do one of them he paid his £85 upfront with the remaining to be paid on the day he got there this morning with his friend only to find out that he needed to pay £185 again then the instructor wasn't happy with his friend not to go on the road now the instructor wants my son to go on Friday and pay another £60 what a load of rubbish

As a very nervous rider, I needed a lot of patience and understanding, which I received - I also got plenty of encouragement too. The riding facilities were very spacious, which meant for a nervous rider, I felt I had plenty of room to practice in. I very much enjoyed the day!

Fantastic experience: After not having ridden a motorbike in 35 years I was a little nervous .. I shouldn’t have been .. Paul was excellent with me and soon calmed my nerves. I was there for my CBT training and although I had ridden a fair while ago back in the day when you could ride up to a 125cc on a provisional license without any training (crazy when you think about it) this training course highlights why it is now a legal requirement to have a CBT before you can get out on the roads. I actually ended up enjoying the day and didn’t feel like I was on a training course at all and I think that’s down to Paul’s style of training to be fair. I now need to go shopping for some protective clothing .. another thing which you learn the importance of on the course. Thanks again Paul for everything. Mark.

Fantastic experience: Tl;dr: Train and tour with this lot. Having merely flirted with the idea of riding a bike, I did my CBT with Paul in April. He was patient and encouraging, despite my constant giggling and stalling of the bike. He gave me the skills and confidence to buy my own 125. In the summer, with my parents visiting from out of country, Paul took my dad, my boyfriend, and I out on a tour of Wales. Dad only had his learner license and rented a BC bike. The ride out to Bala for fish and chips (and back) was phenomenal. Over the radio, Paul helped Dad out with the roundabouts and general handling of the bike. Since October, I've been working through lessons for my mod 1 and mod 2. Emma kept me on track with lessons and tests, booking them around my busy work schedule. I had one lesson with Steve and the rest were with Ray. Both instructors are very knowledgeable and patient. Every lesson was a fun ride out, leaving me absolutely buzzing when I got home. Ray took me to both my mod 1 and 2 tests. He talked me through the procedure and what was going to happen at each and kept me calm throughout the lead up to the test. I passed both tests first go!

Fantastic experience: Went on my CBT and the initial paperwork was fast and straightforward (bring drivers licens and NIN) afterwards we got the basic know how on clothing and safety and went to the practical test. We were given brand new Lexmoto bikes and the instructor was patient, friendly and very informative as to how and when to do the specific move. After the practical we had a break and went through another quick road instruction. Soon after the time came for the actual road test where the second instructor drove behind us guiding us what to do, where to stand and where to go. The instructor drove in a way that me and the other student to be protected at all times from traffic behind us and was very friendly and patient when we came across some difficult maneuvers. The entire experience was very pleasant, instructors were professional and very friendly and understanding towards all situations. Tip: make sure to prepare for the weather. If its raining make sure to bring rain cover trousers (the school will provide for a waterproof coat and helmet). I highly recommend BC motorcycle training. Very professional instructors that gave me the experience and confidence to ride.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing day passing my CBT today. All the instructors were very insightful and observant during all practical stages of the tests and helped me learn to ride a geared 125cc from having no previous experience in only one day. Would highly recommend getting booked in as the prices are very fair for the quality of training provided. Hopefully going to do my direct access at some point in the future with them.

Fantastic experience: I can't reccomend BC enough. I did my CBT then took a break, before completing MOD 1 and 2. Ray and Emma will bend over backwards to help out and really want students to pass, first time and with confidence. BC has the right ethos, care about the students and the results will come. Fantastic experience: I loved the family atmosphere which is really important to soothe nerves: Ray and Steve were always approachable...always ready to give advice, tips and answer questions in a honest and professional capacity. They recognize really quickly a learner's faults/ weaknesses and work to correct them consistently, encouragingly and with real insight to lead the learner to a pass - I went from CBT to full A with a minimum amount of lessons over 5 weeks. With their system you pay for what you need! Emma was always helpful in organising dates and meeting special requests. Most of all, I made friends and Ray kept the laughs coming which accompanied the serious stuff with fun...which is what it's all about! Thanks guys, really appreciate time spent with you!

Fantastic experience: I have just completed my license journey with BC Motorcycle training, starting from scratch with a cbt and completing my Mod 1 and 2 training and tests over the course of 3 months or so. BC motorcycle training have been absolutely fantastic the whole way through. The team are all very friendly and their instruction has been clear and concise, whilst always taking the time to explain everything properly until you are comfortable. This is backed up by a well maintained fleet of bikes that are easy to use and learn on. Lessons have been at my own pace, and i never felt rushed or put through more lessons than i needed. You are treated as an individual with your own learning pace and needs. Huge thanks to Ray, Emma, Mark and Steve. I am hugely appreciative for all you have done to start me safely on my journey as a biker.

Negative experience: Rude and sloppy, after reading other people's experience I guess they just took a disliking to me - I'm a bit aloof and like to joke n ask questions but felt bad for being myself around them, always preaching and sometimes getting annoyed with me. Their older bikes could do with some tlc if they want £40/h it's the least they could do and maybe give people the same bike they took out for lessons when they go for their tests. Anyway I found another school that treated me with respect, and I don't mean pompous like, just well mannered and sound.

Fantastic experience: I recently gained my full licence with tuition from Ray. I can say that these guys are awesome and I can’t thank them enough. Ray cancelled his bank holiday Monday plans so he could give me a 3 hour lesson ahead of my test the next day - which sums up the level of service you get here. If you’re looking to get started, I would recommend calling and getting booked in now. If you’re interested, here’s a more detailed review: For context…I’m 33 y/o, I’ve been driving a car for 15 years and always wanted to learn to ride a bike. I finally bought a bike and did my CBT in November - somewhere closer to Manchester but didn’t get a good feeling about the place at all so I decided to look again when it came time to start my “proper lessons” After a bit of research and a word of mouth referral, I found BCMT and started my MOD1 training with Ray in early May. I passed my MOD2 test in mid June, after about 6/7 weeks of training and a total of 600 miles on my 125 since i bought it! I did 4 lessons for MOD1 (passed second time at St Helens) and the same for MOD2 (passed first time at Macclesfield). I’d say this could be done quicker if I had more availability, more urgency, and didn't mess up my first attempt at MOD1 (silly foot down on U-turn as nerves got the better of me on the day!!) . One thing that I would highly recommend, is booking a lesson the same day as your tests which helps to make you more comfortable on the bike at test time (I drove my car to my failed MOD1 in Bredbury). BC doesn’t have the most glamorous premises, the newest fleet of bikes, the slickest website or flashy advertisement. But what I’ve learned though, is that what it does have is far more important in achieving your goal of becoming a rider: 1. Unbelievably good instruction. I did my training with Ray, and his guidance was spot on. He is extremely experienced, knowledgable, patient, calm, straight to the point and makes the process feel really comfortable and enjoyable. This is the complete opposite to what I experienced elsewhere (where instructors were quite condescending). 2. A friendly, supportive environment. Despite the team having hundreds of customers pass through their doors every month, they make you feel like your individual success is all that matters. Emma and Ray will make you feel at home and (so long as you treat them and the process respectfully) they’ll bend over backwards to accommodate you. 3. Honesty and integrity. Not once did I feel like I was being held back for too many lessons than I needed, or that I was being put through to test without being ready. In fact, the number and timing of lessons was more of a collaborative decision. The team are focussed more on their success rates than extracting every last £££ from the learner - and this comes across strongly. I would highly reccomend BCMT, and I hope this helps anybody like me who didn’t have a clue what they were doing or where to go! And I hope it helps BC get even more business - they deserve it.

Fantastic experience: What can I say, that hasn’t already been said. What a team they have here, some of the most understanding, patient, calming, and knowledgeable instructors I’ve ever known. Ray, is an amazing teacher, calming, engaging and always encouraging. I went from nothing to passing both Mod 1 and Mod 2 under their guidance, and genuinely can’t praise them highly enough. A wonderful riding school, that I’d have no hesitation to recommend to anyone looking to do their license. Over the moon to have completed my training, but I won’t lie, I’m gonna miss this place and the people..

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience doing my CBT. As much as experience I have from India in riding motorcycles, there were some tiny points that Steve help me improve. Looking forward to come back and get some DAS lessons. EDIT: Passed my Mod 1and 2 DAS Test after getting lessons from Ray. Ray has been an excellent Mentor and trained me so well to gain confidence in riding the bike. The lessons were to the point, correcting mistakes without making me feel discouraged. A family environment, and limitless knowledge with subtle humour made the lessons very enjoyable. :) This is the best place to learn a Motorcycle.. Would highly recommend BC Motorcycle Training! :)

Fantastic experience: Went in knowing nothing but I wanted to learn to ride a motorbike. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. Paul my instructor (looked like Gandalf) managed to get me from 0 to being comfortable on roads in a day and gave me simple but great advice from a life time of riding experience. Couldn’t fault a thing, I loved it and it was worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: Lowered bike ( for those of us vertically challenged lol ) and fantastic support if you have anxiety. Absolutely fantastic training school, very professional and extremely helpful. I suffer terribly from anxiety non of this was a problem as they catered for me in every way. They were very calming and patient. Nothing was rushed no matter how long it took for something to click with me. Right from the off nothing was too much and they put my mind at rest. I can proudly say I have my full license now yay, there is no feeling like it, also the instructors and staff are as pleased for you too when you pass. I would highly recommend these for anyone no matter who you are. They have a fantastic selection of bikes and gear and definitely will guide you in the right direction. Thank you to all.

Fantastic experience: I PASSED!!!!! I used BC motorcycle training when i decided id like to venture in to the world of 2 wheels, from start to finish I was with BC. They handled my CBT training, then took me carefully through my Mod 1 and Mod 2 for "DAS" which overall from CBT to passing Mod 2 took around 5 weeks. Throughout they were so accommodating and flexible as to my availability for training, and gladly put me through for my tests as soon as they thought I was ready. They do not over teach, BC are as desperate to get you passed and on the road as you are. The staff there are some of the friendliest people ive met. Steve and Ray were my instructors and ive got to say they are fantastic at their jobs. Emma handles the booking of lessons and tests and was there to answer any and every question i had to ask. Ill for sure stay in touch with these guys and be visiting from time to time. Thank you so much to the BC team, I have loved every minute of it. Martin

Fantastic experience: I've done my CBT through to full bike licence with Ray and his team at BC motorcycle training and their training is brilliant friendly, enjoyable and well priced. I can't recommend them anymore highly.

Fantastic experience: I'm a 60-year old returning rider, new to the UK. I decided to go for the CBT and quickly realised the benefit of going all the way back to the beginning. Bike technology has changed, road rules have changed, and BC took us through all the theory logically and thoroughly. Their 125cc training bike was perfect for me (I have short legs), and the instructors were really excellent, never rushing us and always giving great advice and correcting our mistakes in the nicest manner. I learned the finer techniques that make all the difference to the riding experience. Out on the road the instructor was always audible and gave clear instructions. I never felt panicky and even when I stalled on a roundabout he was there to shield me from traffic and get me going again with the least fuss. I got my CBT certificate and came out of that training day with more confidence and a determination to get my own bike ASAP. Don't be put off by their modest offices; the whole staff were lovely, friendly, competent and experienced people who know their stuff, and got an oldie like me back on the road and riding with confidence. And the youngsters who were with me did well, too!

I found Ray to be a very responsible and supportive Teacher and have to say he made me feel very at ease with the whole process from start to finish. Fantastic experience: Over the last few months I have had the pleasure of attending BC Motorcycle Training. A novice rider with no prior experience, BC have provided me with CBT and Direct Access training. First of all I would like to say that Ray and Emma (proprietors) are incredibly friendly and, perhaps more importantly, will bend over backwards to help. Very flexible with bookings, lots of tips and advice and first class Mod 2 training with Ray and Steve. Ray willingly worked a bank holiday to fit in a lesson prior to test. Basic equipment plentiful and a choice of Honda and Kawasaki machines to use. A very pleasant training vibe at the school, not intimidating and they are very good at tailoring the training to individual requirements. Costs are very competitive……a very positive experience for me.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience: I walked into BC Motorcycle Training after 10 odd years since I touched a motorbike last, and in a few hours I felt confident in riding again. Paul is great and made the whole day useful and also entertaining. From 9am until 3.30 I don't think I had a single moment where I felt bored or wished things would be going differently. They provided all gear, and the tour around Nortwhich around the end was really pleasant. I will be back for my Direct Access as soon as I get theory sorted.

Fantastic experience: Started the day never sat on a moped before and very wobbly. But ended the day confident with my CBT certificate in hand thanks to the brilliant training and advise I received. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I've had a great experience here doing my CBT today. Firstly it was very easy to book, and they managed to squeeze me in on an earlier day after I rang up to change my original date with no quibbles. I was quite nervous and my instructor (Peter I think) had the patience of a Saint and helped put me more at ease, he had confidence in me where I didn't. A very good teacher that goes out of his way to explain things (in several different ways if necassary) and there to remind you to enjoy yourself as well as stay safe. I couldn't possibly recommend BCMT any more. Great, personable and fun people!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to them I managed to pass my CBT the other week! I was very nervous but they gave me a little extra time to get composed and focus, they didn't give up. Eventually I got there and successfully completed the required elements. All the staff were friendly and approachable. I'll be speaking to them when I'm ready to do my DAS!

Fantastic experience: Could'nt be happier.. completed my CBT, staff where great and made me feel at ease. I will be back to complete my full license :)
