Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Camrider Peterborough if you want to pass your full license or even just your CBT. I can’t thank these guys enough for how they helped me get my full license. Special thanks to Laura whose training helped me get through the CBT but also gave me the confidence to go out on my own motorcycle, Laura’s advice on MOD2 test day and the pre-test ride was invaluable to me passing. Also Paul and Mark whose advice also helped my confidence in riding and got me through the MOD1. These three are brilliant trainers and I’m so happy I took the plunge with Camrider Peterborough.

Fantastic experience: Great time learning with Laura and Mark! No experience to passing Mod 2 within 5 sessions. The space between some of the sessions made it stressful (this was due to it being summer and DVLA being busy). Definitely recommend for anyone in and around Peterborough. Fantastic experience: My instructors were Mark G and Laura J and they were both absolutely fantastic, I couldn’t recommend them any more if i tried. As a nervous driver who has only recently passed his car test, Laura and Mark made the whole process so easy and quite amusing at the same time. I am very happy to say I passed my CBT first time and that was purely and simply down to Laura and Mark.

Fantastic experience: Passed my MOD 2 at Peterborough today after completing a CBT to DAS course with Camrider, with 1 extra MOD 2 prep session a couple of days before the test. I found the instruction to be very good from all of the instructors who taught me, going from the CBT, MOD 1 and MOD 2 stages with enough time to get everything up to scratch. The bikes were also good and it was handy to be able to borrow the gear if you didn't have it at no extra cost. My wife initially bought me vouchers and she found the office team to be super helpful in explaining how everything worked, and so did I when Sally reminded me I needed a theory pass before I could start training!. I would recommend Camrider Peterborough to anyone looking to learn to ride a bike or to brush up on their riding after a few years (or decades) away.

Fantastic experience: I used the Camrider direct access course to get my A license. I had Ray as an instructor who was extremely friendly and had a very good sense of humour. I also had Laura who was really great, very calming and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Camrider Peterborough.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience from start to finish. Receptionist was lovely calming me down as I was very nervous. Then on to meeting the gang was great, just 4 in our class. My instructor was Ray, a quick witted patient man who was so friendly but professional that I didn't want to leave. I knew nothing, he showed us, who had never been on a motorbike before how to ride 50cc & 125cc geared. The 2 students who were a little experienced went with a nice chap called Mark and Ray took just us two newbies out. A great lesson with an obviously very experienced individual. I was worried because of the bad reviews but now I see this was just spoilt kids not understanding the Adult world, no spoonfeeding anymore now your road worthy. Thank you all. I'll be back soon

Fantastic experience: Passed my test on an automatic 125cc nearly 10 years ago decided to take my full test. Initially done a gear conversion lesson then moved on to a direct access course.Passed my module one on third attempt.Luckily passed module two on first attempt thanks to the professionalism and patience of the instructors . Fantastic experience: First time Riding, passed my CBT here. On the Training day everything was explained according to our pace preference. Whoever needed more time had it. Instructor explained calmly how to do things right if i did something wrong. Was nervous to attend but left the course very happy. They have a lot of bikes, helmets and jackets for a lot of sizes which was pretty nice. only need your own boots and jeans.

Fantastic experience: I went to the Camrider in Peterborough to learn to ride a Moped. I had the pleasure of training with my instructor, Laura, who was knowledgeable and paitent and took her time to explain each step in detail and reasurred me, since I was nervous about riding a Moped. I am seventeen and I have Dyspraxia and this was handled with professionalism and care. After a few attempts, I was granted my certificate to ride a Moped on the road. Overall, I highly recommend Camrider for anyone who is looking to obtain their CBT. The staff is fantastic and was very supportive and helpful. The quality of training is second to none. Thank you Camrider for helping me pass my CBT so that I have achieved my goal!

Fantastic experience: I had a great CBT session with Laura today. She was fantastic and kept me motivated the whole time. The bike I loaned from them was in great condition and you could see everything there was well looked after. There is a nice, large training area for you to use that really helps you get to grips with the controls in a safe space. I'm looking forward to coming back in the near future for the next step. Negative experience: To much information in a short time span and the unnecessary pickiness made riding 10 times harder than it needed to be, cheap bikes made riding a horrible experience and has put my dad off riding permanently, I wasn't allowed on the road because the gear selecter was so cheap and damaged it wouldn't change on the 1st or second try. I went to shires motorcycle training the next week and passed as I had a working bike

Positive experience: Most of the instructors are a HR departments worst nightmare and i felt the courses lacked structure. But they got me through my DAS course (mod 1 1st attempt mod 2 2nd) Would have been nice to have had the same instructor through the course or one who remembers you from 1 lesson to the next.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with my all of my training from Camrider. Instructors very good especially Graham, Laura and Ray. Sarah in the office is fantastic and keeps the wheels turning, if you’ll pardon the pun. Thanks for getting me my bike licence in only 6 weeks.

Negative experience: Hi, Poor standard of people skills, training is too rigid with a one shoe fits all approach by one or two of the instructors. It often felt like the training lacked any kind of method or structure and constantly having to probe the instructor for information. Instructor spent too much time at roadside cafe's and doing errands which they just seem to incorporate as part of the lesson haha. The business needs fresh instructor's who understand, know how and want to teach rather than old men who are biker's who are knocking around killing time that don't know how to teach. Newer big bikes are needed as some of them were old and clunky with gear changes and a nightmare to start up and a new improved bluetooth intercom system rather than a one way only radio link! In the end I had to switch training schools to Shires Motorcycle Training and passed my Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time round without any fuss and believe I am a much safer and confident rider for it. Thank you.

Negative experience: From my personal experience I wouldn't recommend it , I did not like the setting , the instructor and the bikes , I ended up thinking I have to quit and find another school but it actually put me off and never got back to it .

I did my training at Peterborough where I was made very welcome and received excellent training where high standards and safety are priority. A great big thank you goes to all the staff for their help and support on getting me through my training. I’m glad to say I passed my Mod 1 & 2 first time due to the fantastic instructors. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Negative experience: Not a great experience. The bikes are absolutely terrible and kept breaking. The instructor kept saying "why are you not listening to me". Of course I was listening! It was my first time on a bike, so did not have the skills yet. This is a terrible way to treat people and is the worst thing to say to a beginner. You really should now better. I chose not to proceed with the on-road training. I have now completed my CBT at an alternative provider and had a far better experience.

Negative experience: Prices are a bit high , 125cc bikes you learn on are really bad Chinese bikes. 600cc bikes are bit better , instructors don't really teach you lots of things, last minute show me tell me , you kind of have to learn everything yourself. Many times instructors just left me behind in traffic without considering me as well as don't talk much on radio. If you fail MOD2 it's £220 to redo which is ridiculous amount of money.

Fantastic experience: Came here as a keyworker to pass my unrestricted bike test. Mark got me through the Mod 1 and Dale has been fine tuning my riding to get through the mod 2. Everyone here is great Dale is calm knowledgeable and friendly. Highly needed advice from Dale who sorted me out as Im a car driver who had got into some bad driving habits thanks to everyone. ! Fantastic experience: Having contacting Camrider in the first instance my experience has been great, it took me a couple of times to pass my mod 2 , not bad for an old craok who was full off bad habits. The Instructors are second to none and friendly but like to get the business done and put you straight in a good way without making you feel bad, they build your skills and confidence with honest feedback, great tips and tricks to enable to pass your test, and let's face it, it's a tough test now days. I decided to retake all of my training from scratch and so glad I did it after a long lay off from biking. I would also recomend if you have had a long time off the road like myself to have a few lessons from these Guys, you won't be dissapointed. Its the most confident iv'e felt for years on a bike. I also plan to do some advanced training with Camrider in the near futre also.So to sum up up, a very pleasant experience with many highs and lows, but best of all good fun, keep up the good work that your doing. Each instructor seems to bring a slightly different approach for the same goal, which I found really helpful, lots of experience to tap into. Fantastic experience: I had been recommended Camrider on many occasions when I talked about the idea of learning to ride. So when I finally decided to take the plunge it made sense to check them out to see if they lived up to reputation and I couldn't have had a better experience. Starting as someone whom had no idea how to ride at all, nor had never ridden a motorcycle before they definitely had their work cut out for them as I started with my CBT and made my way up to passing my Mod1 & Mod2. Throughout it all the instructors and Sarah where all a bunch of friendly, chatty, patient and down to earth bunch of people whom always made me feel welcome whilst at my lessons. They also did well to qualm my nerves and instilled confidence in me when I struggled to master something. I would have no doubt what so ever in recommending Camrider to anyone thinking of taking lessons whether it be just your CBT or doing the full direct access course. Great work guys! Keep it up!

Fantastic experience: Excellent trainers, great advice from start to finish. I had never ridden a bike before, I did an assessment with Graham and my CBT, then one half day training with Mark, then MOD1, then MOD 2 with Rory. The whole thing took me three weeks including the Theory I had booked and only four outings to Cam rider! The guys there are friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back towards the end of this year to do some advance training. I 100% recommend calling them if your interested in learning not only how to pass your tests, but learning the right way to ride.

Negative experience: Bit of a mixed bag really. There are a lot of instructors. Some are very nice, friendly, good instructors. Some are not so good. There is no continuity, you have a different instructor each day so for me things got missed. Some instructors think it's ok to continually make personal comments and treat people like they are a fresh squaddie or something. I gave some feedback to them and was told that the variety of personalities suits most people. Well, the other person I was training with, who was a very different sort of person to me also didn't think much of the teaching style that day. Spending the first day on a big bike going off into a storm of hail and thunder with no comms is ludicrous. The instructor couldn't be bothered to spend 10 mins making the comms work before setting off. This was not a pleasant day. Actually, it was slightly terrifying. They don't have a bike that is suitable for anyone 5'4" and under which didn't help matters. Charging people for 4hrs tuition on a test day if you're not going to spend anything like 4hrs on a bike seems somewhat cheeky. I wish things had been different. Indeed, had I only done my CBT with them, my feedback would have been positive. I'm lucky my time with Camrider didn't put me off riding for life. Thank-fully I decided to change bike school after failing Mod 1 and my experience couldn't have been more different. Shop around - other bike schools are available! .................. In answer to owners response. On 1st big bike day I wasn't offered a lower bike. The 2nd day I was, but 'George' was still not nearly low enough. It was a struggle not to fall off standing stationary. So I did fall off. I appreciate you would prefer not to receive this feedback. I provided feedback directly to the school and they weren't the least bit interested in the possibility that they'd done anything less than perfectly. I'm afraid I see little point in contacting you. The opportunity to resolve this has long passed.
