Fantastic experience: 6 months ago I did my CBT here and had the best the summer ever. Ended 2024 getting my new bike for great memories in 2025. Really recommend this place, they don't force courses on you, and they're very effective in their training. 1 lesson, straight to my tests. Thanks guys.

Carl is a legend who, despite looking like he might have onset hypothermia at moments thanks to the less than favourable conditions ️ ☔️ gently & patiently helped us get to grips with the basics while water dripped off his nose, remaining resolutely upbeat throughout. I was absolutely petrified but he kept telling me I can do it. There is also ken who is brilliant. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you for making my first experience on a motorbike enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Had a great day doing my cbt at Stoke Motorcycle Training. The instructor was fantastic (Carl) gave me lots of good advice and help getting up to scratch to get me road ready. Once on the road the day surpassed excellent. Can't thank Carl and Stoke Motorcycle Training enough and really look forward to doing my lessons with them. All in all a great outfit and would highly recommend them to all.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my cat A unrestricted motorcycle mod 2 test today only 16 days after passing my theory test, big thanks to Steve who I did my CBT course with, and a big thanks to Ken who prepped me for my MOD1 and MOD2 enabling me to pass both of them on my first attempt, it's been an absolute pleasure to learn from you both. Fantastic experience: Had a CBT in a single day itself, I have stalled the bike couple of times as I haven't used to this gear transmission, but the miracle man is soo cool and very helpful. Had a fantastic Road Ride. Initially just took CBT as a placeholder for my requirements. But now I changed my mind and buying a motorbike all because of the trainer.!!! I am limited with only 5 stars but I would like go further stars for the wonderful man!!!

Fantastic experience: I passed my CBT today with Steve, this was my first time back on a bike in over 30 years. Steve made it very easy to slide right back into riding and gave loads of good advice to improve my rusty riding skills. As soon as I returned home i booked my theory test, then I'll be back to do my training for mod1 and mod2. See you soon

Negative experience: Unfortunately I couldn’t recommend these. I booked some motorbike lessons in for Saturday morning and turned up but Ken was out on another lesson with someone else, so looks like I was double booked. I called them later that day and Ken knew nothing about my booking, and said he would call me back when he has his diary to hand. I wasn’t called back so I’ve booked lessons in with another company instead. I’m not one to write bad reviews but I haven’t had even the slightest of apology, even when changing my own Saturday morning plans to fit their schedule. I have still given them 2 stars though as they did seam very friendly initially.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT yesterday with Steve and I can’t recommend these guys enough! The clutch was being dumped at a lot and a few stalls happened but he kept everything calm and relaxed which put me at ease! Brilliant road ride aswell, very friendly atmosphere with a laugh being mixed in to keep everyone confident and at ease 5*

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend 'Stoke Motorcycle Training' highly enough! Steve was a great instructor, he was patient and very encouraging. Despite my numerous attempts at stalling the bike, he kept everything very upbeat and brought the best out of me. As the day progressed I felt my confidence levels increasing, and this was definitely down to his style of teaching. As well as being instructive, the day was also fun, again this was very much down to Steve's way of conducting the session. By the end of the day I felt thoroughly proud that I had earned my 'ticket.' At 50 years of age, I am a very late starter, but I encourage anyone who is thinking of having a go, or has wanted to ride for years but has never got around to it, to give the guys at 'Stoke Motorcycle Training' a call, I'm sure that you will enjoy and benefit from the training as much as I did. I did my Training on a Yamaha YS125, and Steve made a couple of adjustments with the clutch and rear brake which helped my riding style, the bike and all the equipment provided was top notch. I will definitely go back for more training as I progress along my riding journey. Five stars from me! Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: Sat my mod 1 and mod 2 with stoke motorcycle training after just sitting my CBT. Passed my mod1 unfortunately failed my first MOD 2 but then went to pass it the second time around . I hired the bike from Stoke motorcycle training and Ken took me to the test centre all three times . It was a absolute pleasure working with these guys and if I had to again I would do it again. Thank you Ken and stoke motorcycle training

Fantastic experience: Did my cbt today with Steve, what a great guy and teacher. We had the worst weather possible and yet I had the time of my life out there on the road. This is such a good company I’m already planning on carrying on my motorcycle journey with them and going for my licenses. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Have to give this a 5 star, the training was fantastic, the instructor knew what he was doing, he was patient with me stalling the bike alot, and gave good encouragement. The training was in depth and the instructor made sure we were fully comfortable on the motorcycle before moving onto the next stage, once we hit the road riding the motorbike felt natural, smooth and ended up being a real fun ride. Give them a go if you're thinking of doing their CBT, I'll be coming back for my full motorcycle licence.

Negative experience: He's not worth the 1 star but I'm unable to remove it, recently I decided to start a new journey on learning to ride a motorbike so I went to ken, big mistake! The school (if that's what u can call it) was very unprofessional and I felt like they only cared if you could already ride a bike, unfortunately this wasn't me. They had no time to train I was told to get on and go, I felt unsafe and was totally put off riding. I was told to come back another day to have a bit more time and again this was a joke. One he never answers his phone nor messages then when he finally replied I had 2hrs riding and he charged me full day cbt, when asked why he sent me a load of nasty messages saying it was my fault. If you can't ride a bike please do not come to this burk. Bryan's bmw training is a much better school with decent trainers who have time to make sure you are safe and enjoy your experience. We'll done ken for being the most incompetent instructor I've ever met

Fantastic experience: Spot on and Steve was Brilliant. He trained us 2 candidates in very tough conditions. Steve was genuine and very friendly. Helped us to acquire knowledge and achieve the CBT level required even when the temperature was freezing cold. He was well concerned about us students when we were on the road and gave us plenty of feedback on road scenarios on the move. He thoroughly explained the importance of the gear and lent us the Equipment and motor bike required. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Superb, did my CBT, mod 1 and 2 direct access. They didn't try and sell me lessons I didn' t necessarily need ( although more time on the bike is always best) and I passed both 1 AND 2 first time after expert guidance. Really good blokes and great facilities. Perfect.

Fantastic experience: i visited stoke motorcycle training on the 28th of sep and met Chris and Steve for my training for only to find out my provisional license had expired but they told me don't worry we can still do your on site training in the mean time while i got my licence renewed the training didn't feel like training at all it was a chilled atmosphere we alot of jokes and smiles i was very nervous starting but Chris and Steve made it a fun and safe environment of course i could not do my on road training i was a bit gutted but they reassured and allowed me to return which was today to complete it i returned today to find Steve and he got me ready for my on road evaluation again nervous going on the road but from start to finish Steve made it like i was just going on a ride with a mate around town and instructed me safely revealed some mistakes but put me right and in the end i completed my cbt training and now on the road A big thank you to stoke motorcycle training and Steve and Chris for helping me get on the road safely with a load of laughs and above all safely highly recommend for new riders

Fantastic experience: I took my CBT with Steve today. I was apprehensive as I had never ridden a geared bike before. I suggested maybe I should start on the 50cc automatic moped. Steve reassured me and said if you want to use a geared bike at a later date then try out the geared bike first, If you don’t feel comfortable afterwards then we can move you on to the moped. As soon as I got on the bike I realised how good of an instructor he was and I took to the bike more easily than I thought. He made the day light hearted and enjoyable. Absolute legend and I will be taking my training further with these guys as they are clearly good at what they do.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT with Stoke Motorcycle Training on Saturday. I'll admit that I was a little apprehensive at first, as it had been 35 years since I've riden anything other than a bicycle or a horse. But the trainer/assessor, Steve, was absolutely brilliant. A few of his jokes soon put me at ease, and I found his laid back style just right, very informative and reassuring. I was soon feeling confident and riding safely and assuredly on one of their 50cc scooters. And I've been out on my 125cc with confidence since. Overall it was a brilliant day, and I can thoroughly recommend this training centre and especially Steve. I'd definitely be interested in going back in the future to take my full bike licence with them.

Fantastic experience: I whole heartedly 100% recommend this training school. My instructor was incredibly patient with me, giving me clear straightforward instructions. When I did something wrong he corrected me and gave me the time to get it right. I dont rember his name but he was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. Not forgetting he had a wicked ginger beard. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

Fantastic experience: Used Stoke Motorcycle Training today 22/5/22 for my CBT and could not be happier with how it went, Ant and Steve were both great instructors, very thorough and helped with any questions we had to ask, they made us feel comfortable from the start, I was nervous about going out on the streets but they assured me I’d be fine and as soon as I got on the road my nerves went, I could’ve stayed out all day. Fantastic experience: Started out very nervously but Steve (our instructor for the day) helped talk me through what was done right and wrong and in no time was riding well, went through and explained everything very well and helped me with great pointers and helped me build more confidence. Managed to pass my CBT and I'm sure I'll be back to do my full license with abit more experience :)

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT, MOD1 and MOD2 with Stoke Motorcycle Training to obtain my full licence. The training provided was second to none, I felt confident through each step of the process and Ken’s calm demeanour helped massively throughout!. He made the whole process really enjoyable, all parts passed with no minors which are a true reflection of the quality of his training. I also felt that I had the perfect amount of road time for my skill level. Can’t thank the team enough!

Fantastic experience: Passed Mod1 test today 1st time. What can I say from training on the road to prep work for Mod1 Ken will make sure you are 100% ready for the test. He will break it down bit by bit for you so you are clear and understand what is required. Just got Mod2 to go now. Fantastic experience: Before booked for my CBT here, I had experience with other schools and had bad experiences with tutors. But Steve was an amazing and patient instructor, didn't rush with exercises, walk through again and again when saw that can go on another exercise we moved further. I had some issues but he works with me individually and helped to build self-confidence and end of the day I pass my CBT. The next step will be a big bike and definitely, it will be in this school. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Yesterday the 29/ 5 /21 I went to the training centre for my cbt I must admit I was very nervous but my instructor Steve was fantastic very friendly and polite and professional which settled the nerves alot he explained everything to me so that I had a better understanding on how a motorcycle functions what's the best type of safety gear to wear and how to ride in a safe manner on the roads my training lasted for a full day and I received my pass certificate and now go on to take a full motorcycle test hopefully in the near future Many thanks mark
