My mate and I wanted to do the bike training course together and Kevin managed to sort that out for us. Kevin's friendly, patient and knowledgeable approach got me through both modules first try! If you want to pass your bike test first try, Kevin's your man; he's got some great extra tips that really help, helps you build your confidence while riding, and generally makes the whole process so easy. I really couldn't be any happier with my experience and would highly recommend KJ's School of Motoring to anyone starting their motorcycle journey.

Fantastic experience: Having never riden a geared motorcycle I'm over the the moon that I passed all three tests first time. Carnt recommended kev enuff he's and good teacher and allways trains to above test standard.

Fantastic experience: If you want a motorbike trainer who adapts to your needs, explains things thoroughly and pushes you steadily in the right direction, then Kevin is your guy. I'm 57 and had never really ridden a bike before. I was particularly nervous of slow speed manouveres and u-turns but Kevin pushed me steadily in the right direction. It's just 2 months since I passed my Mod 2 and have since done 2,500 miles including a 5 day tour of Devon, the Dave's Day ride to Barrow-in-Furness and navigated Birmingham City Centre at rush hour! Fantastic experience: Well what can I say, I pass my theory test and signed up to KJ’s school of motoring. Best choice ever, Nathan took me through my CBT and 5 days later after some serious instruction from Kev I was ready for my MOD 1. Passed first time and then a few days later MOD 2. Fantastic experience: Perfect environment and honestly the best experience learning on a motorbike I've ever had, passed my mod 1 and mod 2 first time thanks to Kev and have recommended to all of my friends too.

Negative experience: The instructor was unapproachable and lacked the ability to understand the requirements of a new learner. The instructor smoked excessively and used foul language which was unnecessary. I was unable to pass and was asked to come another day and pay additional £30 for the car park and £60 for the road, despite not even been on the road on the actual day. It seemed that the instructor was in rush to finish the session and was not interested in been there and teaching. I was unable to see the instructor for most part of the day as he kept leaning against the fence behind the trees with his face covered, making him non-approachable. Initially because I had never ridden before I was struggling to understand the gear and the instructor was of no help in making me understand. I was planning on going back purely to save money and not having to pay another school full fee but decided against and will now rather pay another school full fees again. Highly non-approachable instructor, with no motivation to teach, excessive use of unnecessary foul language; overall just a waste of money.

Fantastic experience: Hadn’t ridden a motorcycle for 45 years and after retiring wanted to get my A licence ,Kevin was recommended to me by a family friend he got straight back to me booked in my Cbt , Mod1 and Mod 2 training and tests also included free training module for theory test . He is a brilliant trainer , his passion , patience and attention to detail to get you to test level and above is second to none also giving you the confidence to pass. Thanks to Kevin I now have my A licence. Cannot thank him enough .

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend KJ’s enough! For starters Nathan was amazing when doing my CBT. I initially could not complete it as I failed the vision part but Nathan promptly got me back in as soon as I got glasses. I was super impressed with how fast he was able to book me back in. He reassured me that I was definitely not the first to fail on eyesight hahah. When doing my mod 1 and 2 Kevin was super adaptive and could tell I was a bit nervous. He found my weakest parts (round abouts / lanes and understanding giving right of way) and in the space of a few hours he helped me be an expert at them. I passed my mod 1 first time but made a small error on my mod 2 meaning I needed to retake. Kevin took me out prior to the test and we worked on the spot I messed up on first time around so going into the second test I passed perfectly. KJ’s also 100% cares about you and your riding over money and the price for what you get is well worth compared to other schools in the Leicestershire area If you are looking at getting a motorbike license and want a really friendly environment definitely book in with KJ’s

Fantastic experience: Kev is probably the best instructor I could've asked for on my Mod 1 and 2 training. He genuinely cares about the progress of learners and I can tell he adapted the way he instructs based on how confident the rider is. I was doing my A2 Automatic licence on his Burgman 400, which is the only one offered in the area. I didn't pass my Mod 2 on the first try, but when I did, I got no rider faults. I think it's thanks to Kev that I picked up those good habits early on. Highly recommended, especially if you're looking to get your full licence on an auto.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a local motorcycle trainer in Leicester who could offer lessons for the A2 restricted auto licence. I finally found Kevin and gave him a call. He was very helpful, so I decided to put my trust in him and give it a go. I'm no spring chicken at the age of 57, and after passing my CBT some 11 months ago, my inner biker was woken. Kevin has a Suzuki burgman 400, which is an automatic, and it serves its purpose perfectly. Kevin is a fantastic trainer and has very high standards. But don't let that put you off. He is very patient and put up with me having a few senior moments on more than a few occasions. He also recognises your potential and helps you to become a biker! After spending a little over a week with Kevin, I passed my MOD 1. After a few more hours of training, it was on to the MOD 2. I aced both MODs with no minor faults! I am absolutely ecstatic! I can, without doubt or hesitation, highly recommend KJ School of Motoring. Whether it be a geared or auto, CBT, A or A2 licence. Kevin and his team will help you to achieve your biking ambition. Fantastic experience: After having my confidence knocked by a larger local school of motoring, I contacted Kevin who encouraged me not to give up. Just 2 hours of time with him and Nathan got my confidence back up and after then booking my CBT with them I have now achieved my CBT. All thanks to their excellent teaching and personalised approach. I'd recommend you contact them first for bike training and I will definitely be going back there for my full bike test.

Fantastic experience: This is a long overdue review. I has been already the 3rd time my wife goes to renew her CBT and its great to see the same enthusiastic and familiar faces at KJ ! Kevin and Nathan always very friendly and professional ! As a Motorcyclist myself and instructor in different fields such as Drift & Rally, i can easily spot when my money is well spent in similar activities and i couldn’t be happier. I particularly want to mention, on my wife latest CBT renewal, Nathan also had a young lady that was her first ever ride experience and CBT and it was nice to see all the encouragement from Nathan in order to make her as comfortable and confident as possible! Plus i always been allowed to tag along as shadow in order to understand what or if my wife needed any further help with certain riding habbits etc. Well , Nathan always did all the work literally, i never had to worry for a moment all these years. Wife will soon take a full license and she still prefer riding rather than driving till date. Its a case to say , they don’t fix what’s not broken in their recipe

Fantastic experience: I contacted Kevin after failing Mod 1 with another training provider. The first thing I needed to do was pass Mod1. Kevin arranged a combination of road riding and the mock Mod 1 circuit set up in a large carpark. The training was excellent with any criticism being both constructive, moderate and tempered by reference to things you got right. It was both demanding and enjoyable in equal measure. After two days and a warm up on the day of the Mod 1 test I passed. By the end of the week and another days training under the belt I achieved my Mod 2 pass. All at 64 years of age! Kevin is genuinely interested in helping you acheived your goals and clearly enjoys his work. He knows the test routes really well and can point out difficult roads and junctions. He is 5 mins away from the South Wigston test centre which permits some early morning training before the test. Cost is very reasonable and far lower than I had paid for my earlier training. Kevin offers excellent value for money and does what he says on his web site. If I've not already made it clear a really nice guy who does a first rate job.

Fantastic experience: Today i had my CBT and was realy happy how good Nathan is as an instructor. Learned a lot of new things and still managed to be relaxed and have some fun. Nathan was supporting us through all the way and calm us down. Couldn't ask for a better instructor to learn from. 100% will come back in the future for CBT renewal or for full licence. Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. Really professional and put you at ease. I did my CBT a two years ago with Nathan and in the last two weeks i have been doing my Mod1&2 with Kev. Both instructors are really good even if at times us students can be trying, you will get all the information on what to do and if you make a mistake both talk you through how to do it rite no matter how long it takes. On the Mod 1&2 you will have the same instructor for your lessons which is always good in contrast to other schools where they swap and change instructors by the day. Thanks to both Nathan and Kev for getting me through my full license.

Fantastic experience: I look back and say to myself I made an excellent choice for getting my Motorcycle training under the Direct Access route from KJ’s School of motoring. Kevin was there to guide me from the time I called him up and told him - “I need a full Motorcycle Licence”. There was no looking back. Nathan helped in getting all my basics right during the CBT. Kevin ensured we practised for Mod1 until I was getting it right 10/10 times. Mod 2 training by Kevin was simply amazing to grind away all my rough edges. Passed both my tests on 1st attempt. Both Kevin and Nathan were absolutely professional, with attention to details and being extremely picky on the smallest of my mistakes, faults and bad habits that I developed over years. This helped me identify them early on and work on them to be able to perform flawlessly (0 faults on mod 1 and 2 minor faults on Mod 2). I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks a lot Kevin and Nathan!!!

Fantastic experience: A massive thanks to kev at kjs school of motoring for getting me to pass first time.... I have had experience of other bike training schools in Leicester ( no names mentioned) and kev is definitely the one to go with.... his great knowledge and patience.....and I would recommend to anyone thinking of doing there bike training to get in contact wiv kev at kjs school of motoring....thanks again

Fantastic experience: A huge thanks to Kev who got me through the DAS scheme this week. I passed both mod 1 & 2 today on my first attempt. Kev has a great deal of patience, experience and knowledge and knows how to give support and constructive criticism when required. Definitely 5 stars!!

Fantastic experience: Hands down best in Leicestershire (in my eyes) kev and the team are amazing and freindly. He will make the training harder so you get that pass easily. Can't fault him and will definitely recommend him to anyone who asks. I just passed first time. 10/10. Don't bother with anyone else go straight to kjs school of motoring.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished my training with Kev for my A licence. I am pleased to say I passed my mod 1 and mod 2 first time and all I can put it down to was the fantastic training I had from Kev. Nothing is to much trouble and he is a very patient man lol but he will tell you if doing things wrong. Had a fantastic experience with kj’s and would highly recommend them for doing your bike training. Thank you Kev I had great fun and banter and yes my figure of 8 might have been a bit big lol.

Fantastic experience: My brother and myself passed the MOD1 & MOD2 first time via DAS course with Kevin. An incredibly patient and knowledgeable rider and instructor, the likes of which you will struggle to find elsewhere. There was plenty of laughs and banter, but he certainly isn't afraid to give you a grilling if you're making stupid mistakes. Couldn't possibly sing his praises any higher. 5 stars isn't enough! Fantastic experience: Did my CBT with Nathan and full DAS with Kevin and the entire experience was fantastic! Both guys were very knowledgable and made the whole experience an absolute pleasure. If you are considering doing any motorcycle training get in touch with KJs you will not regret it. Cannot praise them highly enough.

Negative experience: I had my CBT Course today and it was the worse experience which I have ever had. The instructor was not professional and narrow minded. I was taught nothing and was only passed due to me having two years of experience of riding a bike.

Fantastic experience: I was looking to get my test done as soon as possible after lockdown and knew it would be a challenge, I rang round most bike schools in the area but none of them really knew what was going on and wouldn't do anything as they couldn't get tests for a month or two. Kev was the only one to help and got me in straight away for some training with the hope of getting cancellations to get me through, he really went above and beyond and ended up doing my Mod 2 in Kettering just so we could get an earlier cancellation. As I was upgrading from my A2 license I didn't need much training and after one refresher morning we were good to go. The training was excellent and I've really enjoyed doing it. Definitely recommend Kev for people of all skill levels! The other schools still haven't got back to me about potential dates and training, not that it matters now I've passed! P.s Sorry Kev for breaking the earpiece!
