Fantastic experience: What can I say. I’ve had a brilliant last three months with Mike and Gaz. I was a complete novice who’d never ridden and they got me through my CBT and straight into the Direct Access Scheme. Their knowledge and patience was invaluable and helped me pass my MOD1 & MOD2. They are a Father and son business who charge on a pay as you go basis. They have all the kit you need from helmet to boots to get out on the road. Both are genuine, hard working gents; genuinely interested in not only making sure you pass, but that you are a safe and competent rider at the end. Their patience and knowledge is invaluable and they have become friends throughout the process. These guys should be your first port of call, thanks very much chaps!!

Fantastic experience: Re-did my 5th CBT (2 times here) with Gaz and they (family business) are great. Explain everything in detail when asked and give a good balance between experienced riders and new riders. If you are looking to get your CBT you won't be disappointed. I will be contacting them for finally progressing to get a full bike licence. Good price compared to others in the region and honest.

Bare in mind I had near to no experience riding on a road, they managed to educate me effectively and correct any faults I shown while on the go. Fantastic experience: A perfect, confidence inspiring experience from beginning to end. I took advantage of the Pre-CBT with Gaz, which I would highly recommend to anyone who has no experience with motorbikes. Without the Pre-CBT, I feel I would not have had the confidence nor the necessary understanding of bikes to complete the CBT. The CBT itself was also great, with a good amount of personalised training to get you up to scratch with every component. I've had my bike for two weeks now and the skills and tips learnt from Gaz have kept me safe. I'll definitely be coming here to do my DAS training when I'm ready.

Fantastic experience: Cheshire bike training has helped me become a better rider on the road, I feel more confident and more comfortable to ride with the help of Gaz’s training, I came here from a previous bike training place in Runcorn and wanted to see how Gaz could help me improve and I am happy with the experience he has gave me.

Fantastic experience: After a bad experience and not succeeding with my CBT at another training centre I was nervous and apprehensive about trying again. I rang around a few other centres, one which informed me they did not do lessons prior to a CBT, another which did not return my call and I was not going back to Aintree. Eventually I rang and left a message at Cheshire motorcycle training. I had a quick response from Gaz who listened to my previous experience, agreed it was unprofessional and understood why I was nervous and apprehensive. He was re assuring from the first phone call and booked me in for a workshop to practice prior to my CBT. Once I finished the first workshop Gaz was honest and fair but felt I needed a couple more hours of riding to consolidate what I had learnt, so I completed a second workshop. Gaz put me at ease, gave me the knowledge and theory to understand the bike and how to control it BEFORE I got on it. He has a laid back but thorough teaching style and is very capable at adapting to everyone’s needs and learning styles. He was inclusive of everyone and gave opportunity for people to speak to him privately if needs be with any concerns. On the day of my CBT I was riding a manual whilst the 3 others were on scooters. Gaz was able to teach both highlighting the differences between the two but not making either one less important. At one point when practicing emergency stops I had a little wobble and he gave me time to calm down, re-focus and repeat the exercise. Once out on the road he gave good clear instruction and prompted me when I needed it. He made sure I had the ability to ride safely and handle the bike on smaller roads before moving onto junctions and higher speeds. Basically if you want to learn to ride safely, understand your bike, how to handle it and maintain it and have a solid foundation to move onto a full bike license if desired then I would fully recommend this riding school. Gaz, thank you for being so patient, encouraging and empowering me to complete my CBT, I will definitely be back for my mod 1 and 2 once I have more experience and grow in confidence. Fantastic experience: Recently completed my MOD 2 test with Mike at Cheshire bike training having completed both my CBT with Gaz and Mod 1 with Mike also. Both instructors have a vast knowledge base to draw from in regard to training new riders and both have the patience of saints! I started from scratch with my training initially with Gaz for my CBT with the goal of obtaining my full A motorcycle licence. The CBT training was spot on and I thoroughly enjoyed the day, Gaz provided excellent tuition ensuring I understood each element he was teaching at all times which set me up nicely for my future DAS lessons. Mike carried out my DAS lessons and built up my confidence and skill level riding the bigger bikes he 100% taught me how to actually ride a bike and not just pass a test which is exactly what you want and I gained confidence with every lesson. The Mod 1 training was all carried out on the actual Mod 1 test centre which helps massively. Mike goes through each and every manoeuvre with you and teaches you exactly what is required, Stick to the plan! All of my lessons were carried out in a relaxed manner and I was shown how to ride on a variety of different routes, after completing my Mod 1 I felt ready for my Mod 2 which I am happy I have also passed! If you are thinking about doing any motorcycle training whether it be a CBT or DAS lessons then i would 100% recommend training with Cheshire Bike training, you will not be disappointed with the high quality of tuition you receive and the friendly setting.

Fantastic experience: If I could leave 6 stars, I would. I was thoroughly impressed with the different training approaches taken on my taster day and CBT. On both occasions we were a group of people with wildly different learning styles. Gaz did an amazing job of adapting to each persons needs and then showed great empathy to those needs. He managed to support, encourage and proactively keep us all on the straight and narrow. Not an easy job at the best of times, without taking into account the lethal lump of metal beneath us all. Many Educators could learn a thing or two about adaptive teaching styles from this guy. Everything was perfect. Facilities, bikes, kit, briefings, debriefs and above all support. I loved every minute of it and am looking forwards to a summer of progression. I have already booked my lad in as I wouldnt trust his life to anyone else after my experience here.

Fantastic experience: Did lessons and CBT with Gaz who was fantastic, really informative and professional but kept it light hearted and easy going so nothing was too much stress! Was really understanding with mistakes and helped build confidence to get us all out on the road and passed! Would 100% recommend for any level to drop, and out of lessons he replies to WhatsApp’s really quick and tries to go above and beyond to ease concerns and answer questions. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't reccomend this training centre enough, I personally worked towards gaining my CBT certification here and the instructors were more than understanding of my need for some extra training. The process of setting up following training sessions was smooth and communication was good and ultimately lead to me passing my CBT with confidence.

Fantastic experience: Okay where do I start... My son Steven has dreamed of owning a motorbike pretty much as long as I can remember he was 16 on the 17apr 24 and he booked his CBT on his birthday with A1 rider training he was so excited! Turned out it was a huge mistake he failed him on not looking enough at a T junction I thought the CBT was training not a test, my son just didn’t like the instructor; said he was arrogant and likened him to a Sargent major. He lost £200 that day and the instructor wanted another £200 to rebook, my son decided to leave it concentrate on his exams maybe take it up again one day he was quite upset – almost ended there and then! I rang around and luckily managed to speak to Gaz – I instantly knew this is where I should have taken him in the first place. Gareth managed to fit him in Sunday only 4 days later gave him a discount and he passed! My son said the difference between Gaz and A1 was like night and day – Hand on heart I honestly can’t thank Cheshire bike training enough if you are in a similar situation don’t bother looking anywhere else, this place is amazing. Planning on obtaining my A2 myself now so I’ll update this review once completed.

Fantastic experience: After a very nervous start, I am very pleased to have passed my CBT. Due to a lack of confidence, my partner and I took a couple of lessons before we were ready for the road. Thanks to the professionalism and patience of Gaz, we got through the CBT modules, gaining enough confidence for the road ride. Gaz guided us through it brilliantly, like he was king of the road :-)) Overall, we were very impressed with Gaz as an instructor. Another point to mention about Gaz is that he wasn't watching the clock, so we felt we got our money's worth. Would definitely recommend Cheshire Bike Training!

From my CBT a few months ago to now, they have gone above and beyond just being instructors. Their advice and experience have been invaluable, and they’ve introduced me to the world of motorbiking in such a welcoming and supportive way. For me, riding is more than getting from A to B, it’s about a passion I have had for a long time and now I can hit the road my Dad before he gets too old to join me! Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to learn. Don’t charge extra for using the equipment the price is the whole price and best around I’ve found. Genuinely had a great day. Was really nervous and Gaz was great at getting you confidence up. Very knowledgeable about what he was doing and delivered it individually to me and another learner to suit each of us. Didn’t get frustrated and guided you giving help at every step. Made up I used Gaz for this he made it a pleasure and can’t thank him enough. Fantastic experience: I’ve had to edit my original review because it wouldn’t let me do a second one. I’ve just completed my DAS passing both MOD1 and MOD2 first time! Putting it simply, Mike’s training is impressive! He prepares you for all possibilities and explains the reason behind each instruction. He step by step guides you through and conducts the lessons in a way that you’re constantly picking up helpful tips. He takes on board your learning styles and feedback then provides training based on the way you prefer to learn which is such a valuable thing! Mike doesn’t teach you to pass a test, he teaches you how to rides safely and confidently so you have all the tools required to be a safe rider when all is passed. This man’s knowledge is worth a lot more than you’ll ever pay in training! I highly recommend Cheshire Bike Training!! Look forwards to some advanced training! Thanks again! Fantastic experience: I just passed my motorbike driving test (CBT) on December 30, 2024. The driving instructor (Gaz) was very friendly, professional and explained everything that you should know about using a motorbike on the road. safely. And it gave me the confidence to drive a motorbike on the roads of England efficiently. I am not saying that the exam is easy, but again it not that difficult too. If everyone intends to learn I believe everyone can pass this exam. Good luck to everyone. Narna

Fantastic experience: If someone is looking for a riding school, this is where they should go. Everyone is very helpful. You get a lot of advice during training. There is always a great family atmosphere there. The time you spend there will certainly not be wasted. I sincerely recommend this driving school to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I would 100% definitely recommend Cheshire bike training. Very helpful and good quality training, started off with my CBT with Gaz. On point with the training and knowledge, helped me decide my next steps. Mike then aided me in sharpening up my skills, To get me a full license. Very knowledgeable in all aspects of bikes. Straight to the point smooth training when your ready your ready, these aren't here to waste anyones time. Overall 10 experience every lesson, you even get a couple of biscuits after the lessons.

Fantastic experience: I had my CBT with Mike & Gaz. I had an amazing experience learning with them. They were so helpful and friendly throughout the whole process which made learning very comfortable! They also gave wonderful tips and tricks to pass this. The classroom teaching,practical session and the onroad experience was exceptional. For the upcoming levels I would love to have classes from them and I highly recommend them.

Make sure u take a photo of cbt license as they don't go straight to dvla as I was pulled over today 20/11/2023 and not showing on dvla database and I done the test 1/7/23.

Fantastic experience: Mike has just taken me through from complete novice to obtaining my full bike licence in just less than 2 Months! He’s a great teacher and takes his time to really help you understand and work through anything you get stuck with. He’ll even make you a brew! I have to do a lot of driver training with work, but I honestly don’t think I’ve had a better teacher than Mike! I’ll call in for a brew soon! Thanks again for all your help.

Fantastic experience: I had a CBT with Gaz, highly recommend, really friendly, has a bit of a laugh and ensures you respect the bike, the road and yourself. He gives you a great confidence boost and is honest of how you are doing and your faults and how to correct them. 100% best place to train if your looking to get on the rode. Update - completed my A licence with Mike, I can't thank him enough, he adapts the training to help suit the rider, lots of knowledge to share, shared in a way that imprints in your mind. Affordable training, pay per lesson rather than block to make it easy Affordable. Highly recommend this training school from start to finish to achieve which ever licence you desire!!!

Fantastic experience: Had a great day learning to ride a motorcycle for the first time gaz was very informative for real world experiances on what to do in certain situations on the road and at junctions to keep yourself safe and how to maintain a motorbike and in the compound training he was very calm and used clear intructions i then whent out on the road with mike and he was great at giving me extra tips on cornering, positioning on the road and helped me feel at ease on the road all round had a good laugh and loved being out on a motorbike highly recommend and i will be carrying on my lessons with them to get me on a big bike Thank you Mike (the boss) and Gaz ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Attended last month to complete my CBT. Such a great experience and masses of fun if you’re used to driving a car every day. Spent the day learning from Gaz. Gaz is phenomenal and a true credit to the business. For someone new to bikes, he had a lot of patience when it came down to ensuring I learnt in a correct manner before taking to the roads. He even asked me to come back two days later to polish up which wasn’t necessary on his part; so extremely grateful for the experience. Would 100% recommend that anyone who is interested in going for their bike test go straight here. I won’t think twice about where to go when it comes to doing further lessons in the near future and going for my MOD1 and 2.

Fantastic experience: I've just completed my full A licence with Mike. What an amazing guy, very knowledgeable with many many many years of experience . Seriously though, if you want to actually learn how to ride a bike to a high standard and not just enough to scrap a test pass then go with Cheshire Bike Training, you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience here, completed my cbt and a lesson with gaz. He was very patient and encouraging with very good feedback and instructions. The atmosphere was very welcoming and laid back so I never felt out of place. I will be taking more lessons here in the future, would highly recommend to anyone looking for lessons or their cbt.
