Fantastic experience: First and foremost let me tell you, these guys are amazing, I went for my CBT test, They gave me feedback as i failed the first time and how to be more confident and learn more about the highway code, they were real and straight to the point, I had another test at a different driving school and passed my test as i really looked back at what they were saying. They really do want you to be safe on the road because it is a dangerous place, I am now getting my first scooter 125cc and i thank it all to these guys. Theres only so much they can do for you and thats why I couldnt reccommend anyone else other than these guys, Micheal and his team are always down to have a laugh. Theyre professionals at their job. They make you feel more confident on the road aswell. Fantastic experience: CBT & DAS COURSE. I came across LMT from a google search. Called the number and explained i wanted to work towards my full A licence. Michael was very friendly and booked me in for my CBT to get me started. I'd ridden bikes off road many years ago but had no experience using a motorbike on the road. Dave delivered my CBT course very well explained everything clearly and i enjoyed the experience. I then went on to book my DAS course and john was my instructor throughout. John was extremely patient with me and the other guy who was also doing his DAS course and taught us how to use the road safety and be as visible as we possibly can whilst on the road keeping us safe at all times. I failed my first mod 1 as i forgot to do a lifesaver on the U-turn, Michael soon booked me back in for another attempt which i passed second time round. Michael was great throughout, a straight talking man who knows the job inside out. If you're willing to listen and learn these guys will have you on your way in no time. Overall i enjoyed my experience with LMT and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of getting on 2 wheels. Take care guys and thank you for your service!

Fantastic experience: I passed my CBT with these guys yesterday and I cannot recommend LMT enough. I called at the beginning of the week and I was doing my CBT with them by the weekend. The training was high quality and efficient and I left feeling confident that I had learned to ride a motorcycle safely. No doubt I'll be coming back to do my DAS soon

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my full A category licence through LMT. Michael is very much on the ball, straight to the point, and gets things done (which is how I like to operate). After a 5 minute call with him I had booked my CBT and a 4 day direct access course, and was fully versed on what to expect throughout the process. David was very pleasant to deal with on the CBT day, as he got me back up to speed on motorbike handling. Most of my time was spent with John, who is a lovely all round chap, and a very reassuring coach. He is very attentive and makes sure to put you through your paces at a higher standard than the test requires, so the main tests do not come as a shock. On mod 1 I got one minor error, and on mod two 0 errors, so from experience I think that LMT are the choice to go with if you want to get your motorcycle licence. Thanks again guys, I recommend your service highly.

Fantastic experience: Great experience yesterday doing my CBT at Leeds Motorcycle Training. I was feeling a bit anxious about the course having not ridden for 30+ years but Michael greeted me and got me settled straight away. The training was provided by David Beaumont who did a fantastic job. Going over each point very clearly until it was understood. The on road tutoring was even better. Again David provided easy to understand instructions and made it clear before we set off how it was going to work. I would recommend LMT to anyone wanting to do their CBT in Leeds or surrounding areas. I’m now planning for my full A licence and will definitely be using LMT to take me through it.

Fantastic experience: Cannot thank Michael for the advise when I booked in, David and John enough for the training they have given me, so patient, put up with my swearing and managed to even teach me who had absolutely no idea about bikes before I walked into their yard. Fantastic experience: brilliant experience start to finish!! It started with me sending them an email for more information on CBT's and bike licences. within 60 seconds I got a call and given all the information I wanted. they managed to fit me in surprisingly quickly. They made the day a very fun learning experience. with there being 3 of us learning on the day it was a very inclusive learning experience and I was very impressed. you can definitely tell the level of pride they take in there work and ensuring a high standard of training delivery. highly recommend and will definitely be returning when I am ready for my Direct Access.

I applied to took my test from leeds motor vehicle training a few days ago, first of all i want to say thanks for this opportunity that they made for us and also i appreciate of my instructor that his name was David. Negative experience: Done my cbt here twice, both times a horrible experience, David the instructor has absolutely no patience and loves to belittle and yell at your over the microphone snd offers no help. Thankfully I still passed but can’t imagine I’ll be going back. Stuart however seemed great

Fantastic experience: Just used LMT for my CBT then moved straight on to my DAS a few weeks later. Michael was super accommodating around shift work for me and even managed to get me an earlier testing day around my work. The instructors are all really friendly and patient especially considering I'd never ridden a bike before. I had Stuart for CBT and John for DAS both of whom were awesome. Started my DAS course on the Friday and 10 days later have passed both Mod 1 and 2 first time. Would thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Did a back to biking training session with Leeds Motorcycle Training this morning. I was very rusty after many years in a car. Money well spent, I now know where I need to improve and what to look out for and hopefully be a better rider thanks to them.

Fantastic experience: Leeds Motorcycle Training is a high quality facility with high quality teaching - no two ways about it. Got in contact with Michael and he was always very appreciative and quick to respond. I then booked my CBT on an automatic scooter and was assigned to David david as my instructor. I was very impressed with David's teaching style and detail and enjoyed the day so much that I wanted to learn to use gears. (Don't bother with scooter CBT if you have any inclination you might want to progress). Just get on with it. I then booked a 1:1 day with David on a geared bike and we got to grips in the practice facility and then set off. Obviously it's different out on the roads compared to practice facility and it took me a few hours to settle down mentally. David was a calming and reassuring instructor to have, he knew what and why I was doing things wrong and kept reminding of. me of the correct sequences, to stay calm, off the front bike below 10 miles in an hour (must have told me that 100 times but always with empathy and patience) and basically to remember what I've already demonstrated I can do in the yard. We had some good chats about non motorbike related things when out and about, which helped me refocus and relax and was a great bloke to have by my side when navigating through pretty busy Leeds traffic. It was a long day and I was absolutely shattered by the end of it, but the feeling of getting home with a new skill and having been way - way - out of my comfort zone was just what I needed. Overall - Excellent teaching, great personalities and, if you listen and put into practice what your being taught, you will come away with all the tools you need to practice independently on a CBT license. I intend to go back before the summer and get my A license. Thank you to all involved, I'm very appreciative, especially to David. Book in with this lot - you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I wanted to get CBT certificates to allow us to rent scooters on our upcoming holiday in Vietnam and got in touch with Michael at Leeds Motorcycle Training. Michael was very positive and booked us in. We are both in our late sixties and never been on a motorbike before so this was challenging. However Dave and Stuart, our instructors were fantastic. Very skilled trainers, encouraging and patient but always with safety first. Dave guided around us around Leeds for our road section and we got safely back to base and came away with our CBT certificates. If you need any sort of motorcycle training these guys are first class. Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT yesterday with LMT. I want to start by saying all the staff are extremely helpful and take a kind approach to all learners whether experienced or non experienced. David, who I spent most of the day with was exceptional. His training techniques and tips helped massively and he was patient with us as we made mistakes and eventually got the grasp of things. I would highly recommend LMT to anyone looking to take their CBT and to anyone else looking to get there full licenses.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT today with no previous experience on a bike, in preparation for a trip to South East Asia where I'm planning to ride a scooter. I was really nervous in the morning but they really put you at ease and work with you to try and get different parts right so you feel confident when you go out on the road. My instructor Stuart was absolutely fantastic for the road section of the day and I really enjoyed the 2 hours riding in the end! They even gave me great advice for what I might need to think about in Asia to keep myself safe, thanks very much :)

Fantastic experience: Did my cbt monday, instructor was kind and very good at it. I was gonna give up at one point and go home but he told me to stay, carry on and im glad i did as i ended up passing. Its good that the instructor actually likes teaching people and keeping people safe except doing the job just for the money. Definitely worth it

Fantastic experience: Elise Walter I was in the same course with your boyfriend and I can honestly tell you that he put not only himself in danger but everyone else around him and other road users. It's upsetting that his ego has cause for you to put such a negative comment when you weren't present on the day. Just so you are aware your boyfriend didn't pass his course as hes knowledge on road signs are minimum to none.

Fantastic experience: EXCELLENT Training, look no further. Upon writing this review I have just completed their direct access course to obtain my full motorcycle license. The instructors at Leeds motorcycles are incredibly professional and friendly. They also possess years of incredibly useful knowledge and experience of which will stay with me for the rest of my days on a motorcycle. Before starting this course I had little to no experience in riding motorcycles and now I can honestly say I am 100% confident in myself in riding a motorcycle safely on the road.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience from start (many years ago) to finish. First did my CBT with these guys in 2008, and a further 2 since then when they expired. Just finished my direct access with them today. Michael is great and I’ve dealt with him since I first went. Friendly, knowledgable and helpful with booking on the phone and in person. Top gent! And Phil who took me for the course has been fantastic (definitely needs a pay rise) Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn to ride, from beginner to more experienced. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: The trainers are fab, I went to do my CBT after never being on a geared bike and it was daunting for me. They put me at ease, explained things clearly, the centre was set up good and I will definitely use them again for further tests and hope to be on my full licence soon

Fantastic experience: No experience on the road review. I just did my CBT for a geared 125cc bike here today. The staff are exetremely supportive, but also make sure you are ready to hit the road before taking you out. You'll do a few exercises during the first hours of the course to get to grips with the bike youre riding. After a few manouvers which can feel a little tricky at first, you'll be set to do the driving portion of the CBT. I won't lie and say I was perfect, infact made countless dangerous moves whilst on the road that got me flustered and ready to give up. The instructor on the other hand was not ready to give up on me. In the end I pulled it together and used all the techniques they tought me during practice and passed. Great staff, great support and I couldn't recommened them more!

Fantastic experience: Normally I don't write a review but I feel like doing it from the bottom of my heart today. Especially I would like to thank Marcus and David for helping me to get over everything while saved me from the dangers on the roads faster than any F1 drivervia the intercons. I'm also touched by Michael, the owner of the company, allowed me to rebook a CBT after I've CANCELLED it but still put me on the EARLIST day possible rather than letting me waiting for another week to be too old to even walk. BELOW is WHY I still chose to BOOK BACK here rather than other further places with more availabilities. The long funny story began with me rushing to take a CBT because I need it to collect a lovely twist-and-go from the dealler and as a Uni student I was trying to get it done before my new school year begins. I've booked a place for a date one week after my term start but I thought that might be too annoying (I have to request absences from my lectures), So I phoned Michael that I didn't wanted it any more and I booked a place in West Manchester for the SECOND UPCOMING DAY (How cocky I was!) But it literally took me THREE AND A HALF HOURS train trip to get there overnight I have to urgently book a sky-high priced hotel sp that I could start there exhaustedly in the morning! However I returned with NOT EVEN being put on the road due to the so-called "complecated problems". There was only 1 Instructor for 3 kids and me!! And Yes the instructor let the younger kids practice everything more in each element, and always checked on me in the end (I was the oldest guy, make sense actually). But what I didn't think reasonbable was when it came to me for the emergency stop we were already more than ONE hour late the schedule, and all the kids had failled so many times but suceedded in the end before me. Here comes the most EXCITING part! I was stressed like most of the people, I stalled the bike three times in a row before leaving the mock road and he told me that "I'm afraid we don't have any time left for today mate, I cannot take you onto the road and please rebook with a much lower fee for another few hours!" That's the turing point when I thought that I should go stright back to Leeds to do a CBT again. Luckily Michael allowed me to rebook and welcomed me like a old friend. I was also happy that Marcus and David did attempted to make the whole course more interesting by adding a little bit of humerous "drama" into their demostrations but I'm sorry that I don't know how to describe better in English lol and you may have to buy the lesson to meet them nice people. A point here which I was amzaed about comparing to the small training centre I've went to before was that each instructor here was responsible for either mopeds or motorbikes so there was more direct interactions comparing to small training centres! Speaking about being on the road, I would describe it as the real WAR, and the training ground was just a Rookie's camp! There were so many differences in riding VS driving and sometimes I've got freaked out which I felt really sorry to let Marcus be worrying about me. It was good that Marcus was helping me to check all the components on the radio patiently before we go out and being strict on my mistakes whenever I made them, but always pulled us over to explain theories and expectations detailly, without him reminding me of how my father was when I first got a driving licence back in my home country, I would have my legs somewhere smashed on the road and would not be able to share my thoughts here hahaha. Anyways, I've received a pass and I for sure recommend this lovely place for motorbike-enthusiasts. They even have a decent kitchen in the briefing room with a fridge to store your lunches! I was even provided with a temporay pair of trousers to keep my bottom dry after riding into the army of raindrops!!! I don't know what else to recommend to the others, but I think making mistakes are fine, but admit that you have done them and try to avoid them again to your best will be helpful in your trainning. Fantastic experience: Recently did my CBT and Direct Access with LMT. Michael was great throughout, very organised, supportive and friendly. Did my direct access with John and he was brilliant. Had to retake my Mod 1 but they got my in pretty quickly and second times the charm. Then on to Mod 2 with a pass. I would totally recommend LMT if you are wanting to do your direct access. Thanks chaps!

Fantastic experience: Found the experience a lot of fun. My instructor was very educated and did not feel comfortable passing you through the CBT if you were not able to do something. He was happy with my skill on the bike the first time and completed my CBT. He was never slack with any important information and gave me some excellent bike advice. Leeds Motorcycle Training Ltd are far from slack like some places, they will not give you your CBT certificate unless they are happy. For my first time, their advice and training made me pass my CBT the same day. I will definitely be using Leeds Motorcycle Training Ltd to get my full A license. Very friendly service

Fantastic experience: I am returning to motorcycling after a long gap and had to do the CBT again. I must have done it 4 or 5 times in the past and also did two days training when I switched from an automatic to a geared bike. The training I got from LMT was by a long way the most useful I have ever had. I was never very good on roundabouts (I used to cut across the lanes). David very patiently took showed me how to negotiate these tricky obstacles more safely and with greater consideration to others. I'm truly grateful for the time he took to do this and for other tips which have made me both a more cautious and a more confident rider. Not all schools would do this, believe me!

After I passed MOD 1 I got offered by John and Michael that there is a place available to do my MOD 2 if I interested, I had 30min to get prepared for exam so I took the chance and passed MOD 2 same day. Thanks again to Michael, David, John for the training and help me along the way.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT yesterday with these guys and enjoyed every minute of it. I had previously only watched videos online and had a couple short try’s on my dads bike - by the end of the day I had my CBT certificate and had been out riding on the roads for 2 hours. Really friendly and I’d recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT back in June with LMT with the aim to do my direct access in the coming months. Decided to book my DAS course on the day I did my CBT with roughly a 12 week wait, giving me enough time to get comfortable on my 125. Michael gave me a call to let me know of a cancellation that could bring the course forward by a full 8 weeks. I was a bit apprehensive with only just passing my CBT, but Michael gave me some great encouragement and after taking it though with him I booked on (this was also a day shorter than the course I originally booked, so even saved me money). Michaels words of encouragement couldn’t have been more true; took to it much better than I expected under the expert guidance of John! Really thorough in his teaching, but also very personable to help build confidence. Passed my DAS first time, completing my MOD2 in September. Very thankful for LMT help tick off something I have always wanted to achieve.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend them ! I went for a practice and to do my CBT . The instructor was amazing and I enjoyed every single bit of it. Not only they make the learning and practice very easily and joyful but they make sure you feel safe while in the road. Looking forwards to keep training with them towards my full motorbike license.

Fantastic experience: I had my cbt at LMT Ltd motorbike training yesterday 23rd September and I have to say what a wonderful team who work there. Very friendly and superb at helping with training and on the road. I would recommend if anyone want to get their cbt then please don't go anywhere else other than LMT Ltd. 5 star rating for me. Fantastic experience: I did my CBT and direct access course with these guys and they were fantastic from start to finish I passed everything first time and I had barley ridden anything in the past they make the whole process easy and straightforward. Fantastic experience: Just been for my CBT & was really impressed. Everything was organised and well run. The instructor was great, explained everything clearly so you always knew what you where doing and felt completely safe the whole time. Update (Just been back and completed my mod 1 & 2 for full bike licence. Thank you soo much John for getting me there, think I'll forever hear "mirror, shoulder check, lifesaver" in my ear whenever I'm out riding. Fantastic experience: Michael is the right guy to set you up on track and get prepared. I had CBT experience with David as instructor. All went smooth and straightforward with his advice. As a tip, guys, have a look at the highway code before going, this may save you from pointless arguing.

Fantastic experience: Incredibly grateful to Alan for his endless patience yesterday. I was so nervous in the morning I felt sick, having only pottered round a private car park on my Superlight under instruction from my husband and father in law. I was in a group of three with two guys who had both done motocross in the past so I was the only one who didn’t have a clue what I was doing but Alan (and the other guys on the course in fairness to them) allowed me the time I needed to get to grips with the bike and what I needed to learn. Alan’s training approach was easy to understand, thorough and very reassuring. The road ride was the most amazing experience and Alan pushed me to make progress, not dither about and enjoy it, which I did! After a welcome tea break at My Moto we set off back to the training school where I was presented with my lovely CBT ticket - yay! On the way home we rang up and insured my bike, called in at J&S to buy L plates and the first thing I did was get on my girl and ride to the local pub with my husband following in the car! Fantastic training school that I would recommend to anyone, particularly nervous Nellies like me, and once I have enough money I will most definitely be booking myself onto a DAS course to get my big girl license! Fantastic experience: Did a DAS course with Leeds Motorcycle Training over 3 days + riding to test centres. I had quite limited experience on a bike and had failed my MOD1 with another school. Passed both MOD1 & MOD2 first time thanks to expert tuition from Phil and John, and great management and communication by Michael. The whole team gave me the confidence and knowledge to be safe and get on with it, and we had a laugh along the way. Thanks again all, I will come and show you my bike as soon as possible.

Fantastic experience: All 3 instructors are very friendly and welcoming making the day fun yet very informative. They all enjoy what they do spreading their joy and knowledge throughout the day. It's my second time doing my cbt there and I will be doing my A1 licence there in the near future. Thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: I did both my CBT and my DAS (full category A license) with Leeds Motorcycle Training and they couldn’t have been more helpful and easy to deal with. I had never ridden a bike before and over the course of the last month I’ve completed my CBT, done all of the training and passed my Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time. The instructors were patient and clearly very knowledgeable, and had me feeling really confident on the road in no time. Highly recommend.
