Fantastic experience: Completed my DAS with RMT & my experience was fantastic from start to finish. A Very thorough but very friendly & welcoming approach to training. Would highly recommended to anybody considering any form of training.

Fantastic experience: RMT easily get five stars from me. I came to RMT having sketchily passed my CBT with another crew and all in all it was a very stressful and unpleasant experience for me. What drew me to RMT was the women only motorcycle option. Most of my traingin was done with Laura whose knowledge and patience was second to none. With her A1 coaching I got through my mod 1 with a clean slate. My mod 2 did prove to be a little more tricky but I can honestly say thanks to Laura, Simon, Mike and Karen given me the training, support and honest feedback I needed, I got there. What RMT provide is perfect for anyone that wants to not just get through their tests but wants quality training that will ensure they are confident and competent on the road on their motorbike. Fantastic experience: What a positive experience from start to finish, in August I decided I wanted to try riding a motorbike but with no experience whatsoever I didn't want to sign up for my CBT straight away so i booked onto one of the taster sessions with RMT, Simon was so patient and clearly explained what was required of me and after 3 hours I had decided that was the start of my riding journey, I went home ...bought my very first motorbike and started practicing on some private land. I booked my CBT for the end of September and had a good day training with Mike. Must say the hot drink at lunchtime in their warm classroom was very welcome as it was a cold wet day! After a little classroom work we ventured out on the road and with some gentle encouragement from Mike my confidence grew quickly, pleased to say I past my course and went home very happy with my certificate ☺️ My plan now is to have 6 months or so to practice before I go back to RMT for the next stage in my journey. There are other schools closer to where I live but the journey down to Redditch is worth it to get the first class training that RMT provides.

Fantastic experience: I trained with RMT from start to finish - as a learner, after completing a CBT, right through to a full licence holder, via the DAS course. My whole experience with them was fantastic from day one. They have a nice classroom in which to wind down a little during break time and also learn some more theoretical elements of training. The staff are well above par: friendly, helpful and patient. Everything you would expect from a reputable organisation. I cannot thank them enough for all the knowledge they have shared with me, and for all of the aid I have been given to become a fully licenced rider. Simon, and his team, are great at what they do, so I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to start their riding career, or maybe even enhance it further!

Fantastic experience: Really good day doing CBT with Laura. The pre training-day info was clear and informative. We knew exactly what to bring, where to go and what to expect. Our instructor was fantastic at getting us riding safely and confidently. Keeping instructions and advice clear and simple, even when the weather went against us. She was so professional, and if we struggled with any elements, was happy to talk us through and practice until everyone was happy. Very much enjoyed the experience and looking forward to future training with RMT. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: RMT motorcycle training are a very professional and organised company, from my very first telephone conversation enquiring about doing my CBT, they have explained every step I’d need to do to get my full license, the training itself is very thorough and the instructors are all very friendly and again very professional. Fantastic experience: I came to Simon after spending several hours training with another riding school. They were unable to get me through my CBT - their style of teaching was just 'do what I've just done' which didn't work for me and I don't consider that as being taught how to do a manoeuvre. I did 3 taster sessions with Simon and started to conquer left hand turns. Simon correctly assessed the problem as lack of balance and advised me to ride a push bike. 8 hours on a push bike sorted the difficulty out and on 13/14 September I took the CBT and passed. Two weeks later I bought a 125cc having sold my 50cc. Since then I have done over 250 miles in two weeks. Now I can see why people love riding. I'm loving that I'm relaxed and doing it right. Had it not been for Simon I'd have given up after a lot of money and time being spent and not getting any further forward. I recommend him and his team. Life changing. Today I rode into Birmingham city centre and went round all the big islands and under the tunnels and successfully filtered across the lanes to access my exit. Tada!

Fantastic experience: Started my motorcycle journey in Jan 2024 and completed my CBT with Simon who is very knowledgeable and patient and also has a good sense of humour. Completed Mod 1 and Mod 2 with Laura who aagain is very knowledgeable and patient, can talk for England but funny aswell. They both make you feel relaxed and prepare you well for the tests ahead. I would have no hestitation in recommending RMT if you are considering motorcycle training. I will defiantly be back soon for some advanced training.

Fantastic experience: After completing my DAS training with RMT I successfully passed my MOD1 and MOD2 test (both at first attempt). The centre itself is very well equipped which is extremely helpful in the training. You can also have an access to the actual MMA for your MOD1 test so on the day of your exam you will be very familiar with the place, confident and positive. Laura and Mike are fantastic instructors. The time, effort and willingness to get me through my test was second to none! you can really see why their pass rate is up at 90%. Fantastic experience: After passing my CBT, I spent several months practicing on my 125cc motorcycle using training material on Motorcycle Riders Hub. I wanted to get the full unrestricted ‘A’ licence and was looking for a DAS course where you could take time off between sessions to practice on your own 125cc, and where training was available on weekends. The first few schools I approached were not flexible about booking days with breaks in between, you had to go with the dates they provided, and did not do DAS training on weekends. I had heard that RMT were very good, the reason I had approached other schools initially was because I wanted my training and MOD2 test to be on slower urban roads as opposed to faster rural roads around Redditch where RMT are based. However, after riding my 125cc around Redditch I changed my mind and decided Redditch was a better and safer place for riding a motorcycle and doing the MOD 2 than Birmingham. I took the plunge and phoned RMT to enquire about their training. They were very friendly and accommodating and were flexible with taking breaks between training days. They did DAS training on Saturdays, which suited my work schedule. The MOD 1 training included sessions at the actual test centre at Garretts Green, which was a big plus for me. I ended up booking the first day which would start on my own 125cc and then progress to a 650cc. My instructor on the first day was Mike, who was very friendly and welcoming, and made me feel at ease. I found him to be an excellent teacher who found my strengths and weaknesses and gave me the confidence and inspiration I needed to go ahead with DAS training. The training facilities at RMT were worlds apart from other training schools I had seen. Instead of working from a shed or a car park, there was a dedicated training/rest room and clean toilets. I did the rest of my training over a few months to fit in with my work schedule and had both Mike and Simon (the owner) as my instructors. Overall, the whole training experience was very good and enjoyable, leading to a MOD 2 pass and a full licence. I recommend RMT Motorcycle Training without reservation for these reasons: • They are friendly and welcoming to everyone regardless of their skill level, age, or sex. • You are dealing with a professional organisation with exacting standards and a good reputation. The training is to a higher standard than that required by the DVSA. The instructors are honest about any shortcomings that do not meet their ambitious standards and the focus is to make you a better and safer rider and not just to get through tests. • The owner takes a keen interest in the day to day running of the organisation, is very customer focused, and prioritises quality above everything else. He has numerous advanced qualifications and is a DVSA certified trainer for CBT, DAS, and the Enhanced Riders Scheme. • There is a dedicated training and rest room and clean toilets. • The MOD 1 training includes practice at the actual test centre at Garretts Green. • Training is available on weekends and can be customised with breaks between training days. • Training sessions are assessed, and the results can be viewed via a web link or phone app. • The online videos and training material on Motorcycle Riders Hub align with and supplement the practical training. • They use new motorbikes, which would be safer and less prone to a breakdown than older ones. • The bikes have a visual gear indicator on the dash, which may be useful for some learners (it was for me). • Redditch is an excellent choice for motorcycle training and the MOD2 test due to less traffic when compared to more urban areas such as Birmingham.

Fantastic experience: I rarely leave Google reviews but feel compelled to do so after my experience with RMT. I have nearly finished my DAS training with Laura at RMT via her affiliated Women Only Motorcycle Training scheme. Just the Mod 2 to go in a few weeks time! Laura and Simon (owner at RMT) and the other instructors I have met are the most patient, knowledgable, professional and confidence inspiring people you could ever meet. The level they train all their students to, be that CBT, DAS or Advanced training is exceptional. They do not see training as a production line or money making exercise, they tailor the training to your needs, knowledge, experience and confidence. I have never been pushed to do anything I wasn't ready for. I can also thoroughly recommend the Motorcycle Hub online training too. There are hours of video resources to learn all the skills necessary to pass the tests but more importantly make you a safe and competent rider. I travel well over an hour to RMT and once I have my full licence will do so again for some advanced training. If you want to get on two wheels RMT is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: I’ve just passed my full (A licence) with RMT. I had 4 different instructors including Laura who specialises in female only training. The whole team were outstanding and down to their above-standard training, I passed each element first time. The motorcycle riders hub was a real help and I’d highly recommend it to any learner of any age or experience. I look forward to completing further advanced training with them and also wouldn’t hesitate to use them or recommend them to others.

Fantastic experience: I’m not a regular review writer, but felt compelled to pen one about RMT. I’ll say at the outset that I know the business well and it’s owner, Si Hayes, as we served in the Army together nearly 30 years ago. Whilst we’ve not kept in close contact, I’ve watched from a distance as the business was started (over 27 years ago) and how it grew to where it is now, alongside Si’s other ventures in motorcycling. I also did a couple of days’ training with Si and his team two years ago as I wanted to explore motorcycle instruction as a post-retirement side line. The team's respect for him as the boss and for each other is palpable. Based on my knowledge of Si the man, how he operates and his caring, but robust style of instruction, RMT was the obvious choice for me to put my 17 year old son through the CBT course, despite the 2 hour drive from Wiltshire! The attention to detail was exceptional and my son (who isn’t the most confident young man at times) left the training with a really good level of confidence for riding on public roads and a keen willingness to keep learning and improving. He also took away some really important life skills unrelated to motorcycling! It simply could not have been better. What makes RMT different? Integrity, honesty and doing the right thing by people who want to join the privileged ranks of the UK’s safe motorcyclist population.

Everyone is very friendly and accommodating and the instructors are very knowledgeable, patient and experienced. Having a warm classroom and proper bathroom facilities during training is really nice. Also the wealth of extra learning material available online to use between sessions has proven invaluable so far. Fantastic experience: I did my CBT last year with RMT, and decided quite late into this years season to try and attain DAS licencing, but huge thanks to Rachel as she managed to get all of my training on days that suited my odd shift pattern, a properly tailored experience. Training at RMT is beyond next level, the team is very passionate and in-depth with their training, its a class of its own, I, much like anyone am very nervous when it comes to being examined, but thanks to Laura, Al and Mike I turned up to my Mod1 and Mod2 tests feeling very confident in my own abilities, which has helped me sail through both tests first time. Another big help was Simons online training tools, watching these videos before training days gives you an idea of what you're in for and also helps streamline the training for the team, not that the team need it, they're very patient, accomodating and above all else, experienced and knowledgeable. I've been putting off getting a motorcycle licence for years, and if I knew it would have been this stress free I would have done it with RMT years ago. I wholeheartedly recommend RMT to any new riders, or even if you currently own a bike licence thats been dormant for a couple years, theyre well worth contacting for a refresher course. I'll definitely be back for the take control course once I've got a few miles under my belt.

Fantastic experience: Amazing individual tailored training. Brilliant instructors, who find out what works best for you to learn to ride a motorbike. I am a very short and petite (27inch leg, size 2 feet),female in her 40’s and had never rode a motorbike before, but with the help of Simon, Laura, Alan and Mike they got me through from my CBT to passing both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests, by making adjustments on the bike to make it easier for me, by being patient with me and believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. I couldn’t have wished for a better training school. Access to online videos and tutorials all help with preparation for both tests. Rachel in the office is equally amazing and supportive with any queries. Fantastic team, you can’t go wrong if you choose RMT for your motorbike training. They also offer refresher courses and advanced training. A* training school.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place to learn to ride motorcycle or improve your existing skills, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Especially with Laura as instructor, she really spots every single thing you're doing wrong and pushes you to right direction, personally for me she really helped to get over fear of dropping large bike on slow speed turning like U-turn and figure 8 by getting me out of my comfort zone on motorcycle/out of old habits

The instructional style is very relaxed and coaches you in the techniques that you need to master to be safe on the road and enjoy the ride at the same time. If you're looking to learn how to ride a motorbike the proper way then I would fully recommend RMT.

Fantastic experience: I booked up with RMT after doing quite a bit of research on local training providers and found that RMT quite simply had the best reputation for miles around. I have gone through from my CBT training to completing Mod 2 with RMT. I have not only gained my full bike license but I've also gained some great friends who are always happy to help. If you're looking to learn then I would fully recommend RMT. All of the instructors that I had training with are fantastic. Patient and very knowledgeable, using adult learning techniques to ensure the learning is fully taken on board. Overall a very professional service, one that I would, have and will recommend to all.

Fantastic experience: I passed my MOD2 last week and I'm absolutely thrilled. As an older rider I was quite nervous moving up from my A1 licence (125) to what I would consider a big bike (650). I'm so grateful to Simon and his team at Redditch Motorcycle Training, including Rachel in the office for arranging my training days to suit my requirements. RMT also have online training videos (CBT for beginners, MOD1 and MOD2) which I found to be extremely helpful. For anyone who is looking for a training provider I would highly recommend RMT Motorcycle Training.

For anyone looking for a training school I would highly recommend. I was nervous to begin with and Laura, Mo, Simon and Mike were fantastic and my confidence grew in no time!! The training days were enjoyable and the instructors were clear. It was useful having access to the Mod1 training centre which is a great help in knowing exactly what expect on test day and there is a full set of detailed videos to help and remind you of every aspect of the requirements to not only pass but become a safe rider. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend RMT enough, they are a brilliant training school with great instructors and equipment. I had never ridden a bike before and after a day on a secure car park I went back for the full CBT. The instructors won't let anyone on the road if they don't think you're competent, which I found to be fantastic. I needed more time on clutch control and manoeuvres so doing the CBT over two days is definitely recommended. At no point did I feel unsafe and the instructors are really friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and trustworthy. If you're thinking about doing your CBT or other bike tests, or want some training from experienced riders, book a day with them, they're brilliant. Thanks guys! I had a lot of fun, even in the Great British weather!

Fantastic experience: I cannot rate this company highly enough. I am a lady in her late 50's who wants to actively join her husband on motorbiking adventures rather than be a passive pillion passenger. However, I was very nervous of whether I would feel safe and be able to master it. I needn't have worried. Simon has created a training school second to none. The correspondence and information before you arrive (thank you to the lovely Rachel) is exceptionally professional and helpful - I watched Simon's videos on every aspect of the CBT and they were clear and informative. On the two day course, Laura was very reassuring and explained each stage clearly and logically with lots of useful tips and plenty of practice in a safe environment. I spent half a day with Simon who was brilliant (he genuinely loves teaching others to ride) and have come away with my CBT and a good understanding and confidence in riding a motorbike safely. I felt very safe and had complete trust in the company that they would only issue me with the certificate when I had properly mastered riding the bike (unlike other business out there that 'guarantee' a pass regardless of whether you are competent or not).

Fantastic experience: I have recently moved to the area and came across RMT when looking for a training school, I knew they had a good reputation but I was surprised by how many of their pupils throughout my training had came from all over the country. Rachel in the office couldn't have been more helpful throughout and did her best to get me booked in as close as possible to the dates I wanted. The majority of my training was taken by Mo and Laura, both are brilliant teachers and are the reason I passed my mod 1 and 2 with no faults. I will definitely be back to further my skills. You might find a slightly cheaper training school but you won't find a better one. Don't risk your life for the sake of a few £.

Fantastic experience: Spent the day today doing my CBT, what a great day it had been too, I had not ridden a geared bike in 30 years, and other that tootling about on automatic quads on holidays etc my experience was somewhat limited. Going in I had all the confidence of a car driver of 30 years experience behind the wheel, saying this was going to be a doddle. I am not ashamed to admit that it was not, but with the guidance & encouragement of the skilled trainers I was soon going round doing all the manoeuvres with a lot more ease than I expected. Laura, props to her and Bill they both did an amazing job and are a credit to RMT . Very much looking forward to getting in some more training with them and for my A licence as well as the advanced courses they have to offer. So its fair to say I highly recommend this company Updated 03/11/2021 I would like to add that on the 29/09/2021 I passed my Mod1, and on Monday of this week 01/11/2021 I passed my Mod 2 (Cat A) I could not have done it without the hard work and patience of the whole team. Rachel has been so helpful in booking training days and tests, really made me feel valued as a customer. I had 2 different instructors throughout my mod 1 and mod 2 training, Laura & Mike. Again, a real credit to the business. They, along with all instructors present on training days, made sessions fun, relaxed but most of all, full of fantastic instruction and advice. Fantastic experience: I did my CBT, Module 1 and Module 2 with RMT and it was the best decision I couldv'e made. The instructors were amazing and the standard and quality of instruction was beyond reproach. Passed both Module 1 and Module 2 first time around! I couldn't have asked for a better experience in learning how to be a safe rider on the UK's roads. I loved every day of riding and learning and very highly recommend RMT. Simon and his team goes above and beyond in their instruction and I'm so happy and grateful for the amazing work they do and people they are. Each instructor invested time in my training and always made me feel confident in my riding ability, relaxed and fully prepared (especially on test days!). Fantastic experience: Second to none when it comes to getting you safe on the road. Having completed my CBT, Mod 1, Mod 2 with RMT I can understand why they are respected by so many, individuals and companies alike. I contemplated doing a 1 week course with another company, but 100% happy I did not, there is no way I could have been anywhere near as safe of a biker as I am now, not even close. I felt this the most on my Mod 1 and Mod 2, I just was not worried, a little nervous, but very confident and when it comes down to the test days the instructors said they had no doubt about my bike skills... that's all down to taking time with RMT who got me through all tests passing first time. I think one of the secrets is they quickly train you far beyond the pass grade, picking up on so many small safety aspects and skills needs that when it comes to the tests, you feel far beyond ready. I was trained by 3 instructors at RMT and each gave simple positive feedback that I could focus on, this was perfect for knowing what I needed to change about my bike skills. All had a different style of training and that was refreshing and fun. Trading is relaxed and enjoyable even when you are making mistakes which is often at first :). Administration and organisation from all other staff was excellent too (thanks Rachel) even dealing with Covid was a breeze with these guys. Lastly is that although I've passed all my tests first time and can ride any bike, they continue to support you, need help with your first bike purchase, they offer to help with advice after. There are more trading courses to get you far above the average biker including extra skills to improve your riding, advanced courses, tours in the UK and across Europe too, just for fun, but also to improve your skills. Can't wait to get out on my bike now and half of that is due to feeling truly confident knowing that I'm safe, but also understanding and really knowing my limits which is incredibly important. Solid training by extremely down to earth people. Thanks you all.

Fantastic experience: RMT are a school who put rider safety first. They don’t just teach you to pass. They teach you to ride safe. I was a nervous rider. The instructors at RMT delivered consistent instruction, delivered teaching at a level and pace that I could handle and instilled a framework that will follow me through with my riding lifetime. I felt that I wasn’t just another pupil on the production line but that the instructors genuinely cared about my successes and how to make me safer.

Fantastic experience: Had a weekends training with a view from going from a auto scooter to a geared bike. Having done the weekend I realized geared motorbikes weren't for me but that was absolutely no reflection on Simon and the team or the training or facilities available. They encouraged me and gave me all the help I needed and the training was excellent. I would certainly recommend them for any of your bike training needs.

Fantastic experience: Simon and the team at RMT are simply the go to place for any motorcycle training needs whether a complete novice or seasoned rider. Both myself and my son have trained with RMT as well as numerous friends. There is certainly an ethos of delivering professionalism throughout the training sessions but more importantly they make the whole experience fun, exciting and leave you wanting to learn more. Even when you've achieved what you you set out to, the journey doesn't have to end there, you become part of the RMT family and can take advantage of many excursions home or abroad. I recently went on an off road day at Yamaha with RMT and you really get looked after by a great crowd of people. I recommend all my friends to RMT for all these reasons cant rate them highly enough.
