Fantastic experience: I did the CBT course today with John having not been on a bike for 20ish years. The quality of the teaching is 1st class. I can not recommend this course highly enough. We were given as much time as we needed to get the basics of bike control nailed down. The riding theory part of the course was explained in a clear and easy to understand way. Fantastic experience: Just completed my cbt exam with john. I was a totally inexperienced rider with no motorbike experience or road experience other than a few car lessons years ago. I arrived quite nervous and thought I was going to be overwhelmed with everything I need to learn. The way john was in explaining everything and having a laugh at the same time really helped me calm down. After learning the basics and going through the classroom stuff I got really nervous again and was on the fence about going out on the road. John said if you don't feel ready for it he totally understands but explained that everything he's seen me do so far he has no issues of taking me out on the road and with a bit of help from the other lads with me training I bit the bullet and did it. The nerves slowly went away the longer we were on the road and I started thoroughly enjoying it. I can't express how happy I was that I did it and couldn't be happier with the training I received and the way they were with everyone. Such an awesome place to train with nice people and now I have my cbt certificate and extremely happy

Fantastic experience: I passed my CBT today with John. I was quite nervous to begin with about gear changes on a manual bike having never sat on a bike in my life. John put me at ease straight away, explained and showed me then I was changing gear in less than a minute. I couldn’t believe it myself. You are genuinely treated as an individual person and the tuition John gave was tailored to my needs. He was always there with reassurance throughout the whole process. John’s knowledge of bikes and the road is truly impeccable. The bikes are fantastic the whole setup there is. John is a very patient polite and calm person that truly inspired confidence on a bike that I never thought I’d have and I genuinely felt like I’d known him all my life as a great friend. If you follow John’s instructions, rest assured he will go above and beyond to get you through safely and the correct way. Fantastic experience: Having never ridden a bike before I was nervous going into my CBT. John made my experience very enjoyable and couldn’t have made it any easier for me. There were things that initially came across difficult but the way John taught me through these he made them so easy and enjoyable absolutely brilliant instructor and very patient from the classroom to the practical I went from being very nervous to confident riding the bike out on the road by end of the day.

Appreciate not everyone has had experience riding a motorbike before and he made sure the right level of tuition was given to everyone to suit their needs to get them onto the road safely. My advice if you are considering doing your CBT here is "just do it!". You will enjoy it and any nerves you might have will quickly go away with the expert guidance. The day I did mine was very wet but it didn't matter and I didn't even notice when out on the bikes. What are you waiting for? Book it and enjoy it.

Waiting times for MOD1 and MOD2 training and tests are very short, and I have passed both just 4 weeks after the initial consultation! Probably would get it even sooner if I had more time during the week! Thanks to Gethin who was my instructor on MOD1 training and Kev who was supporting me before the MOd1 test and was my Instructor for MOD2-passed both tests at first attempt! Could not be happier with the experience with MTW! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Well what a jam packed day of training. Trainers were very informative and thorough. Had an absolute blast. Not only did me and my butties enjoy the course we had one on one training. Some would say we learnt with our long lost twin. I wouldn’t recommend any other school. If you live within a 50 mile radius this is the school for you hands down they’ll teach you. Outstanding and what a laugh. If I could have put ten stars I would have. Fantastic experience: Just renewed my CBT with John today at MTW Pontypridd, have to say could not of asked for a better instructor. The day was very relaxed and John made every aspect of learning the bike very easy. Even as a renewer such as myself, I learnt a lot from the day and can say it has made me a better rider already! Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend them enough and especially John. I haven’t rode a bike in 30 years and I was really anxious especially being a middle aged woman. But I did the taster session (which I highly recommend) and then did my cbt!!! If you lack riding experience, I recommend starting with the 1-hour taster course followed by the CBT plus, which provides comprehensive training for the CBT course.
