Fantastic experience: CBT completed today with the lovely trainer Ashley. He was really patient with his training, ensuring he was clear with each instruction. Humour was used as appropriate. The day was really encouraging and I learnt lots of useful road safety tips. Moped was in great condition. Training yard was right across the road for part one and then a lovely tour de wirral in the afternoon sunshine for part two. Thanks Ashley, you are brilliant at your job and being one of your trainers was a pleasure .

Negative experience: Not helpful one bit. Won't be shopping there.

Negative experience: Cbt courses are only good for scooters here. learning to ride a manual bike is challenging enough for a complete novice, but when you only have space the size of a back yard it makes it 10 times more challenging all you seem to do is go around in circles with your foot practically stuck on the brake taking corners there is no open straight to open up the throttle and learn to gear shift. If your doing your cbt on a scooter go for it if your learning a manual bike with zero experience find somewhere with alot more space marriots is awful they need to invest in more land.

Positive experience: Absolutely no reason on my first visit to not like this place, staff great, staff brilliant. It dropped a star for me, as I couldn't see a facility for drinks, which I think it could do with as bikers love a drink and chat, and my other half wasn't over keen on the toilets as she didn't like using them as she was two feet from a male, not the end of the world, just comments, but will return absolutely no doubt

Fantastic experience: Called in to shop today what a great selection of bikes and price points affordable bikes for most pockets I was most impressed after shopping upstairs looking at helmets the gentleman upstairs was really friendly and very knowledgeable talked my wife and myself through every range of helmet and explained all the safety markings etc a credit to your shop Marriotts really is the best motorcycle shop in the north west best selection of quality bikes and best knowledge base from staff super friendly to boot. I've been using the shop since I was 20 I'm now 50 and still recognise some of the staff from clothing dept from when I started shopping here thats the level of experience you get from here.

Fantastic experience: Great bike shop situated in Birkenhead. It has its own car park round the back of the shop, so very safe if you are leaving your motorbike parked there. Lots of second hand bikes and new bikes to look at, and the clothes shop upstairs is stocked with the latest biker gear. Defo worth a look in.

Fantastic experience: Excellent motorcycle shop, I bought my first big bike Kawasaki Z650 2019 only 466 miles so practically new from Marriott’s and as a female was nervous however Mike and the guys at Marriotts were great, really helpful not at all pushy and I felt very comfortable. I hadn’t passed my test and they kept the bike at the shop for me until I was ready to take it, they lowered it for me and fitted all the crash bungs, I have now passed my DAS on my Z650 absolutely love the bike. Thank you Mike and the team at Marriott.

Spoke with him first thing to inform him it's been 14 years since I was last on a geared bike he was extremely patient with me and was extremely helpful. Must say it was one of the best cbt's I've ever done would certainly recommend marriots to anyone wanting to start their bike journey.

Negative experience: Went in to Mariotts and enquired about a bike. Took my number and didn't get back to me. This has happened on a few occasions. I'll never step foot in this shop again. Went to Milennium in Thatto Heath and they are so much more helpful. Bought a nice new Z1000 Ninja from them. Mariotts really are a waste of time. How have they been trading so long with this attitude??

Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a used Sports bike for a few months and have bought and sold them for different reasons. I came across an advert for a used 2015 Yamaha R1 advertised for sale at Marriott Motorcycles and it seemed the right bike for me as I am extremely fussy because I wanted a mint condition bike. I contacted Michael and asked about the bike and also wanted detailed photographs of the bike so I could confirm it was in mint condition, I was not disappointed! I travelled up which was a long way from South Wales in the hope that it was the bike I was looking for, after a three and a half journey I parked up outside the bike shop and hoped that I had not wasted my time, I was nervous and excited at the same time! Walked into the shop with my brother and there the R1 was, i couldn’t believe my eyes, the bike looked pretty much BRAND NEW!! Not only that but everything else about the bike was right as described by Michael. I can’t put into words how glad I am that I trusted Michael and the other staff at Marriott motorcycles. All of the staff including the accessories department upstairs were very helpful and made my buying experience very pleasurable! If I could give 6 stars for the experience I definitely would. One very happy customer!!

The guys who run the sales and workshop are dedicated bikers keen to see you on the right bike and keep you riding. Excellent parts and clothing shop upstairs, and again there is a lifetime of experience behind the counter. I've been a loyal customer for over 40 years. Today my youngest daughter completed her CBT, so I'm proud to see the younger generation still keen for two wheels. Mike, Tony, Ash, Sean Glynn and the rest of the team, thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT today with Ash and I honestly couldn’t recommend him more. I’ve ridden in the past but been off my bike for a few years, and I feel super confident about going back on the roads again now. The course was so thorough and more detailed than my last CBT back in 2018, everyone should have a CBT to this standard, it would make the roads a lot safer. A++

Fantastic experience: Picked up a used ER6f from these guy as my first bike after doing my Lessons and passing my test with them. Bike is brilliant. Had one issue that couldn't be forseen in which the rear shock went. Fixed under warranty no bother. An since getting the parts (New genuine kawasaki part shipped from Japan) took a bit longer than expected at just over a month. They fitted my new front tyre for free. Can't thank you guys enough. 100% would recommend!

Fantastic experience: I went to Marriot’s at 5.20 pm just before they were about to close with my motorcycle. There was a issue on the way home from work. The guys there, all 3 of them, stayed behind after hours to fix my bike. And not only that they tightened my chain in the process. I am new to biking and learning the ropes.They went above and beyond to help a customer (me) is an understatement. I need the bike to get me to work in Liverpool, and the guys fixing it after hours really helped me out. Outstanding customer service. 20 out of 10 I will only ever deal with Marriot’s as long as I am local. Thanks very much guys. Your legends.

Excellent customer service; Michael the General Manager was always available for a chat or update, explained the ins and outs of the bike thoroughly. Made the whole process seem simple and easy. Highly recommend to others and will definitely consider them again for future purchases.

Fantastic experience: I bought a Vulcan S last summer from these guys. Bought it over the phone and then went to pick it up a few weeks later. I completely trust and really like everyone I met in the encounter and the process. There's an incredible amount of clothing, helmets snd accessories upstairs in the shop and bought everything I needed to ride off.

Fantastic experience: Was looking for a new J300 Scooter and after calling various dealers around the UK, I chose Marriotts. It was clear from the first phone call that customer service (as well as value) is a top priority. All this was arranged without me even visiting the shop from a 100 miles away (Covid etc). The bike is now sitting in my garage, its immaculate. Just waiting for the dreary weather to clear. Needless to say I will return for all future needs. Thanks Micheal and the team!
