Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant I recently completed the process to obtaining my Cat D license and done my 3a off road/reverse and most recently CPC mod 4 with AJM who were nothing but professional and amazing with me on both occasions making me believe in myself and feel calm They have the perfect setup for training with a big open space in a quiet area along with quick turnarounds when it comes to booking and getting through the tests. Tony doesnt get anywhere near enough recognition for the hard work he puts in and puts other companies/DVSA approved sites to shame. I would highly recommend to anyone who is in the process or wanting to go through the process of obtaining HGV/PCV license to give these a call, you wont regret it!

Fantastic experience: Tony and Dan are a father & son duo and what a team they are. Friendly, professional and get the job done. They offer a 30 hour car to class 1 course at a fair price. 30 hours is the perfect amount of time too. Any less just simply wouldn't be enough as there is a lot to learn, get used to and get through. Good luck in the future fellas.

Fantastic experience: I am extremely grateful to AJM. From booking a week's course to test there was brilliant communication with Tony and Dan. I had Dan as my instructor, he taught at a very provisional level, a friendly approach with a professional manner, getting rid of any hadits i have gained through 20 years of driving and getting me ready for test, teaching me skills I'll now take with me. Truly I pass mai 3B test on the second time ,but the first time I was so nervous that I've said this is impossible and I will never get my HGV driving licence. After Dan and Tony come to me and told me '' Look this is not for everyone but we can see that you can do it so keep going and don't give up''. On that moment I realise they are right and I pushed myself with there help till I suspected. Fantastic experience: Massive thanks to both Tony but especially Dan for all the lessons and tuition. Going from a car license to C+E was a massive challenge with few obstacles, namely failing 3a and 3b both on the first time and passing both on 2nd attempt. Dan has not failed to keep me motivated to obtain the license throughout the course. He has been very professional with a great sense of humour which only improved the overall feel and experience. Any mistakes throughout the tuitions were professionally and fairly criticised which only helped to reflect on my driving skills and improve drastically. Furthermore, other than driving tuitions, any further lessons or timings were clearly communicated and I was never worried about them not showing up. I could compose essays of positive feedback but I do not wish to bore myself or anyone reading this, so on the final note: really amazing and could not recommend enough!

No nonsense, dont mess you around and really want to get you through the tests. Will be going back soon to get my class 1 sorted. Dont bother with the brokers etc they will rip you off just get in touch direct and they will sort you out

Fantastic experience: Had instruction from both Tony and Dan to obtain my HGV class one straight from a car licence. Both are friendly approachable and very experienced. Tuition is excellent and they have a great knowledge of the likely test routes. I work shift and they were flexible around training times etc. I found going direct with AJM friendlier and more cost effective than dealing with an agency. Thanks to you both

Negative experience: Tony is a very judgemental man, not happy with car drivers taking HGV. Thinks he comes across as honest but how he stayed in business this long is amazing.. not willing to give people chances, as assessment is about seeing how the Instructior can support the student. How he can teach students in a draw bar when you need to learn in a HGV. Other instructors told me it's impossible. Checked reviews these all say he's good but didn't get this got more I, me so very self centered.. should be more willing to give positive feedback with supporting a student transition to learn HGV. Considering never reversed a HGV plus riding a motorcycle should not be held against you.. teaching is about patience not not being judged..altering any bad habits plys learning your way through the lessons. Talking about other students guy called John from a different country he had his lesson, Tony was more than happy to slag him off.. Also currently his pass rates are not good- Had 2 fail recently. Nah not for me. Better teachers and companies. Tony replied, saying he said I would struggle.. so judgemental to say this given I have never drove a wagon. He saw my licence with me working up to C1E means C- class. I had recent lesson with different school to be told my diving was reasonable. Yes bad habits but as a teaching school it would their experience to guide a student. Using a phone while driving a draw bar Very good example and breaking the law Tony. John was slagged of.. yes you did talking about another student is a breach of GDPR telling another student of his attitude, mannerisms thinking he knows it when he's not there to defend himself- Yes that's slagging him off... I was also honest in my approach. Once I pass my Class with C1E I will send you a picture.. again shame on you Tony. I hope your attitude changes.

Fantastic experience: I passed my Cat C 3A and 3B first time with Tony at AJM. I would definitely recommend using AJM for your HGV training. If you listen to Tony's advice and experience you'll pick it up quickly.My first day driving the lorry I was struggling driving something much bigger than I was used to, I went on my second lesson open minded and listened to Tony's advice and started picking it up.
