Negative experience: absolute piss poor attempt at getting back to me, been trying to call for my cbt test renewal but no matter how hard i try, you guys just wont answer the phone, very bad business practice will be going elsewhere in the future now

Fantastic experience: Just passed my Full A license with Raceways, thanks to Rob an absolute legend of an instructor! I’m 30 years old (Car License holder only, well previous to today of course ) I decided that now was the right time to get into Bikes. Starting with a little 125CC just under a year ago & only being a part time rider I certainly did not have much experience. However with Rob’s excellent tuition I was able to pass both my Mod 1 & Mod 2 in quick succession FIRST TIME! May I add & become a much better / safer rider! I Can’t thank these guys enough, as rider training goes they’ve got it right down to a T, they were patient with me & very observant giving me handy tips not just on how to pass my test but also how to stay safe & alive on the road! I was referred by a friend & he got it absolutely right! Thanks Jake

Negative experience: Never been here but turned up today to view and hopefully buy a new bike, but with staff dossing in the bike parking like some sort of school yard !!! ENOUGHT SAID , not what I want to see when thinking of blowing £50k. Turned round and went home.

Fantastic experience: These guys are brilliant!! I had a problem with the bike slipping gears at certain rpm, and my cruise control not working. In no time whatsoever the guys had picked my bike up and had it in the workshop. It turns out that a shorty clutch lever I had fitted recently, by another shop, wasn’t the correct one for the bike, this was causing all the problems. Posted the original levers to the guys, they fitted them and dropped the bike back to me in no time, now all working Can’t thank these guys enough, fantastic service and what a nice bunch of guys, they definitely went above and beyond to help me. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now, thanks guys, much appreciated!!! Rob (Bobby)

Having a fork seal leak at 2,700 road miles on my Yamaha Tenere I was told by the supplying dealer, Wigan motorcycles service department that the seal replacement was not covered by the warranty. Yamaha UK told me to try another dealer and Raceways were very accommodating, confirming a seal failure and replacing under warranty. Proper customer service! A*+

Fantastic experience: My husband decided he wanted a Yamaha tricity 300 . After searching the internet he finally found one on Raceways website. So a few phone calls later with Ben at Raceways ( excellent service and advice) it was decided. Today we took delivery of the new trike . Delivery service was also excellent. ( to North West Cumbria) not only did the delivery arrive nice and early, everything was explained in great detail. We can highly recommend. Thank you Raceways .

Fantastic experience: Always had a good deal when changing bikes. Had a small issue with a bike I just bought and they collected, rectified the fault (failed sensor) and brought bike back in less than a week. Also an excellent clothing department. I won't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Really nice bunch. Great to see a private business in this game still going strong. Limited range of accessories but a superb choice. Bought my helmet, gloves and route one kevlar jeans from here and extremely impressed with the service and the quality of the products offered. Obviously a Yamaha dealership but it’d be good to see them offer Zero/Energica and Stark to their range of suppliers but i can imagine Yamaha might not agree.

Fantastic experience: Went to the Yamaha test weekend,Keith was most welcoming, had the exact model I wished to try , explained the controls and allowed me 1 hour on the bike which I felt was very fair as it was a popular model. I was able to book a extended test ride on another day if required, no high pressure sales , accessories available was explained to me and pricing costs etc, none of my questions were unable to be answered. Very pleased with my visit, recommend

Fantastic experience: Just purchased a bmw s1000xr from raceways and found the service to be fantastic from keith who I delt with over the purchase. The bike is in great condition as are all the other bikes in the show room and would definitely use raceways again in the future.

Fantastic experience: Just gained my A2 license with Raceways, Rode a throttle restricted MT-07 that felt very easy to learn on. Rob & Lee were ace. both of them were absolutely sound blokes who were excellent rider trainers and knew how to have a bit of a laugh. Pricing was also pretty fair. Mod1 included 2 training days and the test for £375 Mod2 included 1 training day and the test for another £375 Will definitely consider doing my full A licence in 2 years time with them.

Positive experience: Traded my MT09 against a nice Triumph Trident after a minor hitch with the Triumph, Keith , Phil, being the professionals they are sorted it out streight away , I would recommend anyone wanting a good deal on a bike and customer service get over to Raceways, Fleetwood ️

We've purchased 3 bikes in the last 12 months as well as part ex etc. Before this me and my family have had an array of bikes spanning 17 years! Can't fault them and you always know your getting a good bike. They were so helpful, offer genuine advice and care. This extends to Raceways Rider Training.

Fantastic experience: Been doing my Mod1 & 2 here with Rob. Had previously being learning in Kendal where I am based. For me to chose to travel all that way for lessons should be a commendation on Robs experience. It is he is a good instructor 100%. Unfortunately they chose to take there Mod1 and Mod2 tests at Kirkham with Brian. Please Google Kirkham test center and read the reviews. If you want to pass your bike test Mod1 or Mod2 you are wasting your money if you test center is goin to be Kirkham. Read my other reviews I am rated local guide. Also look up Kirkham test center read there reviews. Funny the only 2 positive reviews are from people who have never left any comments - reviews before EVER!

Fantastic experience: Great service, i used their bike training department to pass a my MOD2. I travelled from the lake district for a 2 day crash course due to a lack of tests in carlisle, Rob Smith was an excellent instructor and spent some time with me practicing my weakest areas. Passed with 2 minors!!!! THANKS ROB

Negative experience: Did my CBT here in 2021, and it was fantastic. I loved it a lot. Have been trying to arrange to do my actual tests since then; the owner does not answer his emails or phone calls. I have spoken to him exactly once, and he promised to call me back after the weekend - back in January. Have tried to contact him again, to no avail. I wish I could recommend this place, but honestly, I cannot in good conscience do so knowing their failure to communicate with customers.

Fantastic experience: Bought a slightly used Honda that was so keenly priced I couldn’t afford NOT to buy it. A couple of phone calls and emails to Keith was all it took before Santa Claus bearing tidings of joy, aka Brendan (white coffee, two sugars) in a Sprinter van arrived at my house even earlier than he’d anticipated (I think he gets up half an hour before he goes to bed to start his deliveries). The bike was exactly as described. It was freshly serviced and I had ample time to check the bike over and all the paperwork came in a neat zipped Raceway folder. I will definitely consider this company for any future purchases. I was surprised to learn from Brendan that should the bike need sorting under warranty, they collect the bike from you and I’m 250 miles away. Fingers crossed that won’t be necessary. Top marks all round!

Fantastic experience: With a short 30inch leg, 35 yr gap since last bike, and being 75 it couldn't be just any old bike, so after a lot of research I decided that a BMW F800GT would fit the bill nicely - and Raceways Fleetwood had one. It had already had a lot of interest but I arranged to view anyway. I was late but Keith the manager said he would hold it for me. Whilst viewing the bike Keith very delicately enquired behind the suitability of a 75 yr old returning to biking after a 35 yr gap, (impressive - so not just out to sell a bike then!). So deal done, time for clothing etc. The girls upstairs were very attentive and guided me through all my requirements, and gave me a discount too. Bike delivered two weeks later and time for my first ride. Disappointing - often couldn't get neutral, and gears jammed consistently in 3/4/5. Also front brake judder between 30 - 15 mph. Advised Raceways, and without any hesitation whatsoever they arranged to pick up the bike. After inspection they advised clutch drag, and would replace the complete clutch, together with new front discs and pads. After fitting, their own road test showed the clutch now to be fine, but not the brakes - and the batch of discs they had seemed to be faulty. No worries, they would temporarily fit brakes from a stock bike, deliver the bike back to me so I could ride it, and pick it up again when new stock arrives. Later, the bike was picked up and new discs and pads fitted and delivered back, and she now rides perfectly. A long story I know, but I think it's worth it to show how a customer centered business should work. I can't fault Raceways, right from the very start - care, thoughtfulness and service seemed uppermost. Yes things sometimes do go wrong but Lee, the after sales manager, made sure that everything was put right without any quibbles or moans with as little inconvenience to me as possible - top service from the whole place and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. Fantastic experience: I had come across this company first via AutoTrader when looking for a new motorcycle. I had come across their used NC750S and called them up. They had been very helpful and accomodating throughout the whole purchase and even went the extra mile to find the Honda manual for my bike when it wasn't originally included. I'm still a fairly new rider, but from what I can see the bike is in great condition and couldn't ask for more for a first time big bike! Would be more than happy to purchase from them again if I need a new bike.

Fantastic experience: Great motorcycle dealer, the German franchise dealerships could learn a thing or two about motorcycle preparation and after care from these guys. I bought my used bike from them - a Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport, remotely online and it lived up to expectations and more. I had a small fault with it after a month and they recitifed it for me. They got back to me when they said they would, delivered the bike for a very reasonable fee and fully serviced it before delivery to manufacturer spec. I can't fault them at all. Would recommend to anyone and use again.

Fantastic experience: The aftersales service from Lee Hindle (Aftersales Manager) and his team has been exemplary, providing exceptional customer service and representing both Raceways and the Yamaha brand to the highest degree possible. I recently experienced an issue with my 2021 Yamaha Tenere (which is very rare) and needed the bike for a planned trip to Scotland and Ireland. Lee and his team kept me up-to-date at every step of the way, even updating me on an evening over the weekend, which is simply incredible service! Yamaha shipped the replacement part direct from Japan in record time and I will forever by a loyal customer to both Raceways and Yamaha. Having owned other manufacturers (Triumph & Honda) I have never experienced such outstanding customer service. Thank you all once again to Lee, his team and Yamaha – see you in the summer after my trip.

Fantastic experience: Recently bought a used 2015 Yamaha Super Tenere from Raceways for a superb price, and negotiated to receive a full 24k service (when the bike had only covered 20k miles. What can I say, absolutely superb service from top-bloke Phil! As often happens with large purchases there were a few hiccups along the way. Finance, which was a faff sorting out, but that was between me and the finance company. Phil was pleasant and understanding throughout. And when it came to the pre-delivery service, they found the headstock bearing needed replacing which pushed-back the delivery date by a week. For the inconvenience, I was offered fitting of a pair of fresh Michelin Road 5's at no charge, even though the existing rubber had several thousand miles left in them. I'm super happy with the bike and when it comes to upgrading (hopefully not for a good few years yet) Raceways will be my first choice

I popped down the next morning and started the process. Phil and Keith made the purchase process an enjoyable experience whilst we waited for computer systems outside their control. The bike was prepped whilst I was there, and when I noticed a couple of small marks on the grab handles, it was sorted there and then. Can't recommend them enough, and I know exactly where I'll be going for my next bike. Thanks guys
