Fantastic experience: Did my CBT with Rob who is a really really sound guy. He's an extremely experienced rider and teacher who also supported me well psychologically, right amount of forgiving mistakes vs reinforcing safety-critical behaviour. I was taught as a novice on a perfectly maintained geared machine. This day was fantastic.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience training with SMT and getting my CBT certificate. Got to ride on a 50cc moped and a 125cc geared bike (I've only ever ridden a push bike before). Fantastic experience: The Team have been more than Supportive of my 17yr old son , who has anxiety and autistic, they were patient , understood his individual needs , and what he need to pass his CBT , he was terrified when he first started with the Team , but with the time and condifence that Rob gave him , he's now riding on the road independently . Fantastic experience: Having used multiple driving/riding schools for various different driving qualifications, not to discredit any of the others as they all got me passed for various vehicles too BUT I can hand on heart say that Shurdington Motorcycle Training were by far the best of all. Extremely clear, concise & no messing. Saved me a good couple hundred quid and got me through all 3 modules first time. Martin & Chris are absolute legends and I recommend them to every single person I can. Ps, they also got a work colleague through first time on everything after recommending them

Fantastic experience: Had a 2 hour lesson with Chris as I had lost a bit of confidence in undertaking the IAM too soon after passing my test. This was absolutely the right thing to do, he was super patient and encouraging, went back to basics and gave lots of advice. The lesson has definitely reminded me why I love my motorcycle so much. Fantastic experience: I successfully achieved my full Motorcycle license with the expert guidance of Martin and Chris, passing both Mod 1 & Mod 2 first time! The bikes are in excellent condition, and the instructors know their stuff. I highly recommend SMT if you are looking to get your 2 wheeled license.

Fantastic experience: Chris, Rob and Martin are all great instructors. Up for a laugh but when the push comes to shove, very thorough with training. I was extremely anxious about getting back on a bike after many years. Wasn’t sure if I was going to go through with it after initial assessment ride. Decide to persevere and go for it! Upon the assessment ride, I was suggested an extra day on the direct access as a “confidence day”. The guys made me feel welcome and less anxious about the whole thing. Was definitely the right call to do the extra day. On the first day we did the CBT. We were supposed to do this on the big bikes, but unfortunately 2 bikes in the garage and the other 2 were being used for other learners taking their test. This was explained to us in the morning. The guys stopped on later with us to do some mod 1 training once the big bikes had come back from tests. Me and the other lad on the direct access passed both mod 1 and 2 first time on the final day. Would highly recommend these guys for anyone looking to do their licence!

Fantastic experience: Excellent and honest school. I booked in for my DAS after not holding a CBT for 12 years. At the tryout session, I offered to come in for more days of training than already booked if they felt I needed it. Martin didn’t try and upsell me and encouraged me that what I’ve booked is perfect. Chris and Rob gave second to none training d were extremely welcoming and accepting. I successfully passed my Mod1 & Mod2 and would highly recommend Shurdington Motorcycle Training.

Fantastic experience: A brilliant experience from start to finish. I started with a taster hour on a geared bike after having no experience at all. Then CBT, big bike hour taster and the. 3 days followed by mod1 and 2. Chris, Rob and Martin were all excellent - made you feel at home right away and really supported my learning. Safety and learning were central to everything but it was also great fun. The direct access was like a holiday! Every walk of life goes and enjoys their courses. I really couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Posting on my wife’s account. Recently completed my DAS course at shurdington. The location has good facilities and is easy to find. All bikes are almost brand new and they provide equipment if you don’t have it. Martin, Rob and Chris are all excellent at what they do. Friendly and pitch feedback at a level that is easy to understand and follow. Rob did my cbt and Chris took me for DAS. Thanks to Chris I passed mod 1 and 2 first time. Fantastic experience: After many years of lacking the confidence to go for my full license I eventually broke and booked in with shurdington motorcycle training. Today I became a full license holder passing both modules first time! All the way from cbt, mod 1, mod 2 and the training inbetween, these guys have been absolutely outstanding, completely put me at ease and had a laugh all the way through. Fantastic experience: Awesome! Undertook a 45minute trial on a MT-07 around 3 weeks after my CBT (conducted elsewhere) where I was evaluated and then booked my DAS for the first week in September having only 6 weeks from CBT to DAS. Tuition was awesome (Thanks Chris!) and I passed both my MOD 1 & MOD 2 on day 4, with 0 faults! Couldn't possibly be happier! Highly recommend for simple and helpful training!

Fantastic experience: I passed my big bike test over 20 years ago but hadn't really ridden since. I called Martin and asked for some refresher training to help build my confidence and that he did!!! After just a few hours I had mastered the turns and figure of 8 which had always been nerve wracking for me. I felt so comfortable and at ease during the training. Thank you Martin and Rob for your patience, knowledge and time. Within 3 hours of leaving I had bought myself a new bike and I can't wait to get out there!!! Highly recommend SMT.

Fantastic experience: I would thoroughly recommend Shurdington Motorcycle Training for all levels. Although I didn’t take my CBT with them, I undertook a 4 day DAS course and passed my MOD1 and Mid2 first time. Although the team were great but Chris my instructor was fantastic, after 5mins of my first road ride pulled me over and put me straight on numerous errors, and continued to tell and show where needed, the correct road craft. His professionalism and humour were a tonic at times especially before MOD1 training. I’m pleased I chose the right team to get me through.

Fantastic experience: A great training school with friendly staff who tailor their approach to you and instil a good level of confidence in you. Take any fear or overthinking out of tests, passing and riding a bike. A bonus is it’s a good laugh! Passed both Mod 1&2 on the same day without any pressure or stress.

Fantastic experience: I recently booking into Shurdington motorcycle training for a CBT. Ahead of time Martin gave helpful advice and responded quickly to my questions. On the day of the CBT Rob was fantastic, very patient taking me from total beginner to a road ride in the afternoon. Rob knows his stuff and I learnt a lot, and had some fun too. The bikes were well maintained and ran well. Overall a great day and a fantastic experience, thanks Rob and the team at Shurdington Motorcycle Training. Fantastic experience: My 19 year old daughter lacked any confidence to go out on her scooter (despite passing her CBT with another ‘training’ company). Rob was fantastic with her and really built up her confidence. One day with him and she was transformed - not just in her ability but her confidence. I would urge any parent whose youngster is learning to ride to book - so they get properly trained.

Fantastic experience: Having previously completed my CBT and A2 licenses with different training providers, I can confidently say that the guys at Shurdington are the best. Martin was very helpful in getting my tests booked as early as possible and Chris was a great instructor, pointing out any bad habits I’d picked up and giving me the confidence to fly through both tests in the same day. Everyone there is friendly and will instantly make you comfortable regardless of your experience on a bikes. If I had to do all my tests over again, it would be with them.

Did CBT with Rob who is a legend and ordered a little 125 to get some riding experience before attempting mod1/2. Rob gave loads of great advice and even met me at the shop (spa motorcycles) when picking up the bike and took me out for a quick run to ensure I was comfortable. Way above and beyond! Fantastic experience: Under Martin & Chris’ patient guidance they helped this 64 yr old pass first time. I can’t praise them enough. Fulfilling a long postponed ambition I can’t wait to get my first motorcycle. The equipment is in great condition and the facility is easy to find.

Fantastic experience: Shurdington motorcycle training got me my full A license! They are a fun bunch with extensive knowledge. Martin was fast with communication from the start to the end. I had Chris as my instructor, he helped me with my nerves, queries and any 'dumb' questions with patience. My lessons were fun and informative. I highly recommend them!! I'm a Girl, who is short, not super confident and they all gave me the "I can do this attitude" Thanks guys!
