Fantastic experience: After my stroke that resulted in left side weakness and DVLA cancelling my licence I struggled to find a instructor with an automatic who was prepared to give me the tuition I needed to return to driving legally and safely after a 2 year break from driving. Stephan was able to understand my difficulties and after 12 hours of his skillful tuition I have successfully passed the DVLA assessment necessary to get my licence reinstated. The instruction I received should make me a better driver than I was before the stroke.I can recommend Stephan to anyone wanting to return to driving after illness and a long period off the road.

From my initial enquiry right through to my son passing his test (first time) I was kept fully informed of and received copies of his progress records after lessons. All communication was prompt, professional and friendly with payments being quickly acknowledged and recorded too. The website is also really informative for parents and students. As an instructor; my son got on really well with him and liked his approach to tuition so always looked forward to lessons. He felt supported and always had feedback on lessons, often supplemented with written notes for practicing outside of lessons. I will definitely be going back to Stephan for our younger Son when he’s old enough to learn.

Offered a taster session to assess my daughter's driving and then suggested how many lessons were needed. This was less than I was expecting! Fantastic experience: One of, if not the best in the Gloucester area, phenomenal quality of teaching. I had the instructor Christine who was just amazing and a pleasure to be taught by. A VERY experienced, knowledgable and patient instructor. Helps you learn at your own pace and pushes you to improve every lesson. Extremely helpful feedback is provided throughout lessons. Are NOT looking to profit off you by forcing you to take lessons you don’t need. Prepares you for the test from the very first lesson. Queries and doubts will be answered with illustrations which makes understanding a lot easier. Cannot recommend them enough! I passed with 2 minors, a day before I passed, Chris produced a 1 in 1000 pass with NO minors at all, if that’s not a testement to how good they are I don’t know what is! Book with no hesitation!

Fantastic experience: Stephan was such an amazing teacher and a model example of what a driving instructor should be like. From the first lesson, he has remained professional, friendly and extremely patient. He builds your confidence as a driver, allows you to make mistakes without making you feel ashamed, and informatively helps you to achieve your goals, whilst fully respecting your current driving ability and integrity. It's clear that Stephan really knows what he's doing, as he's able to deliver a tailored and personalised lesson structure based off of what you want, rather than trying to guesstimate your confidence level. Also, the small details, Stephan recognises the true importance of a good debrief (as a diving instructor, this is one of the most invaluable things any teacher can do). Every step of the way, I felt like I knew exactly where I was, what I needed to do, and what must be done to get there; Stephan keeps extremely handy progress records, and discloses his honest and true opinions. I also briefly had Kris for a lesson, whom delivered the same high level of quality I'd experience from Stephan, so hats off to the entire U Steer team! On a side note, Stephan knows my opinion on cheesy puns, so again hats off for coming up with the worst (I MEAN BEST!!!...) one imaginable.

Fantastic experience: Would like to say i had a dream of learning to drive. Thats all it was.. i was very nervous when i started my driving lessons but stephan was amazing and took the time to calm me and reassure me and make me believe i could do this....as im hard of hearing i worried i wouldn't hear what stephan was saying to me but he made sure i heard him by speakin louder which just became natural after a few lessons... i let miss panicky poo as stephan named me wen i got nervous make me feel i couldnt do this and everytime he would say come on louise is a good driver. Leave miss panicky poo at home. He has the patience of a saint..... i used to give myself a headace screechin at him...stephan i cant do it... to which he calmly replied yes you can.... I had the odd lesson where i used to feel disapointed in myself and feel disheartened....thats natural i believe....stephan would always say concentrate on what your doing next... not whats already happened.. I had my driving test 22nd feb and passed!!!!! .... yes i had to learn a lot but to learn it from a good teacher is what i believe helped me pass.... never ending support at the end of the phone... a progress report at end of every lesson.... just 100% total dedication to helping me achieve my goal.... so for anyone who wants to learn to drive i highly reccomend stephan and his company..... once again stephan thankyou so much for helping that dream become a reality ..........louise xx
