Fantastic experience: Wheels gave me an excellent motorcycle buying experience, the staff were there at hand if needed but always far enough away to let you peruse what was on offer. Joe Scott was brilliant throughout, always happy to help and nothing was too much trouble or question too silly ( and I had lots). On collection, it was quick and thorough, he reminded me that Wheels were there if I needed them. I haven't smiled this wide for ages, apparently my smile is attached to a throttle, who knew?? I would deffo return if it needs anything. Thank you Wheels, have a great Christmas, especially Joe, as you said, she is fast and LOUUUUUUUDDDDDD Mojo found!

Fantastic experience: My experience of part exchanging and buying from Wheels Peterborough was overall excellent. My assigned sales rep, TJ, was helpful and patient at all stages of the purchasing process, from answering my initial questions to providing an initial evaluation of my previous vehicle. The bike has lived up to its initial pitch - everything seems to be in order mechanically and the general condition of the vehicle is as advertised. First port of call if I fancy trading up again!

Negative experience: Had a price for my z1000r edition 2020 early in the year £8000. Mathew framton was a very helpful guy and said once we look at it we will confirm. Took a ride up yesterday I saw Joe wow this guy tried ripping me off and generating funds for the company. Not happy at all as a bike mate recommended him. He said my bike was now worth £6500 and would fail the Mot if I changed the disc it would be £7000. The bike has had a mot and it great condition. When pulsing is felt through brakes it’s a matter of cleaning the bobbings pulsing stops I’ve had it before. The bikes MOT April. I’m not going to explain any more but what a shower just don’t insault peoples intelligence. Anyone wants to contact me feel free for a row.

Fantastic experience: I was with a group of bikes that visited wheels on Saturday. Unfortunatly when it came to leave, my bike wouldn't start. The mechanic Alex Sharp and his apprentice (sorry don't know his name) went above and beyond to help me. Not only did he diagnose the problem he also fixed it, which was amazing, and all this was done nearing the end of his working day. Thank you to Alex his apprentice and the parts chap who initially relayed my quandary to Alex and to wheels. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I broke a zipper in my Alpinestars boot on our euro tour from australia and called Nicola to enquire what could be done. She called the Alpinestars rep and within 2 days I had a replacement pair at no cost. Simply awesome service and a lot of choice on bikes and gear as well, many thanks.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service and sell bikes that aren't fit for purpose! Purchased a brand new bike from here and within less than 300 miles it had countless issues, once the money is out of your hands and into their hands they could not care less about you or the bike. If I can save other people from all the stress and cost of losing money by buying from these guys with this review then that's the least I can do! Buy elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Always friendly. And helpful

Negative experience: I've called no less than 10 times for 3 days in a row to book my motorbike in for it first service. Been asked for my phone number and been told someone will call me back Every time same lie. I understand they may be busy but 3 days 10 calls not even a reply to tell me something at least. Shame and unacceptable ☹️☹️

Fantastic experience: Had my bike (Honda CBR600 FA-B) in for an 8K service and MOT, this was my first time using wheel. After placing the quote through the website I was contacted by Ben the service department manager. We had quite a lengthy chat around what exactly was needed for the service as well as other items that may be required. I was all booked in for within the next few weeks which was quite good considering we are in summer and as we know we all want our bike ready for then. On arrival I was greeted my Ben like I had been a customer for years, which was a nice touch. with the bike all dropped off I was was quite confident that everything would be taken care of with not issues. (which it was) Now my bike did fail the MOT and required extra work which I wasn't expecting and did almost double the price of the service however, again Ben called and explained everything over the phone putting my mind at rest and I felt confident in everything that was required so ok'd the work. after waiting the weekend for the parts to arrive they were exceptionally quick in squeezing it in for the repairs and the bike was back in my hands much quicker than expected. Would I use them again...absolutely the knowledge and confidence in their own work is evident as well as putting the customers mind at ease, it is difficult to find a garage to trust however, these definitely are one of them.

Positive experience: Huge selection of bikes. And a great selection of clothing. Very helpful and friendly staff. The building is divided into sections with honda in a separate building so take your time and have a good look around. We will be back soon.

Negative experience: Absolutely amazing at point of enquiry and sale and some really decent helpful staff but this is organisation and business protection first and customer second. At point of sales emphasis on selling and how few problems a Zero electric bike would cause. There were many problems and expensive repairs. I had a naivety in not checking the 3 pin plug charger within the warranty period. I lived on a 5th floor so never tried this charge function in warranty period. First time I plugged it in to charge off kettle lead all fuses blew. Wheels replaced the kettle lead and next time I plugged it in it blew mains power supply. Wheels say the 3 pin charger worked. I know it didn't and as outside warranty period Wheels would replace charging unit at a cost of 1k. I refused. Also problems with Zero and parts so really long delays until parts came in so off the road for long periods. First time I needed to replace the front tyre the wheel spindle was damaged and had to be cut off and replaced and tyre replaced. While in for this work for over a month the assessment of the bike failed to notice the drive belt had damaged and broken teeth and when I pointed this out they said yes the belt needs replacing and then had to order the belt. The belt they fitted lasted 500 miles before it snapped. The replaced belt has cracks on it and with only 2000 miles approx done for a belt designed to do 24k average the Zero technicians and Wheels say it's safe and ok. I've left a review as Wheels refuse to do business with me as I raised a complaint about the bike under the Consumer Protection Act 2015 and this reached Alternate Dispute Resolution and the Dispute service found in favour of Wheels. Despite rear brakes needing replacement and bike unsafe to ride Wheels wouldn't replace and I have to ride to another garage. They say safety is their priority and I feel it is unethical to refuse to do works and send a bike on the road. All in all a pretty awful purchase and sadly really difficult experiences and challenges and that's not even mentioning returning the bike to me more than once not charged up and so I had to sit there for a couple of hours post collection to charge. Wheels never shared ending retail relationship with Zero and so there's a dishonesty and lack of trust associated. I have one final trip to Peterborough to recover bike next week. As a final advice you will be bowled over by sales communication. After sales. Helpful but definitely not as customer focussed in my experience. Other retailers are available. Don't rush and shop around.

Fantastic experience: Always a great service. Visited a few weeks ago to find out the price of the clutch friction plates and clutch case gasket for my CB300R. Just ordered the gasket and sourced the friction plates elsewhere due to price. Yesterday, got round to changing my friction plates, old gasket snapped as they often do, no biggie, that's why I ordered a spare. Oops, the wrong gasket was ordered I was concerned there'd be an issue returning it as I opened it Visited today, dealt with swiftly, no request for the difference in payment for the correct gasket I left buying some coolant and a happy customer Thanks a tonne

Negative experience: biggest bunch of cowboys i have ever brought a bike from, what happened is to long to write the if you want to read more go on trustpilot and read my review. DO NOT PURCHASE A BIKE FROM THESE COWBOYS

Fantastic experience: This has to be in my view the best motorcycle dealership in Peterborough and surrounding areas with a fantastic selection of new and used bikes. Lovely showrooms with all the new models and brands which Wheels Motorcycles deal with. Also a great selection of demo bikes that you can try out. Staff are always on hand if you need any help or advice with anything. Nothing is ever too much for them. Well worth a visit if you’re ever passing by. Great coffee cafe above the Honda dealership as well. To be honest I’ve never came across such friendly staff that make you feel more than welcome. They always have a large selection of riding gear with sales on most of the time. Big thanks to Phil who helped me decide on what bike to choose which I intend to purchasing very soon. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed with this place.

Phil made it an enjoyable experience, gave me a good price for my part ex, sent me a personalised video of the bike and arranged delivery to Somerset which arrived at 9.30am! Brilliant. Negative experience: Treat this place as a dealership and nothing else! We were planning on getting my first helmet. We asked for help, and immediately get directed to the cheaper set. The entire experience could be summarised as us being an inconvenience in every way. And it concluded with the employee telling us that we couldn't afford any of the more expensive helmets.

Negative experience: Went to Wheels after an accident on my bike as these were the only place near me that could pick up the bike. Very high hourly price (£120!) compared to another Kawasaki main dealer which was £65. For this price you would expect excellent service. However, when I went to collect the bike and ride away - there were faults such as completely dead battery (guessing they left the ignition on), right bar end was barely hanging on due to them not doing up a single screw‍♂️ and left mirror was left hanging without being tightened at all. Very disappointed from wheels here. This has now put me off buying a bike from them .

Fantastic experience: Purchased a GSX-S1000F from these guys, I didn't see the bike in the flesh until it was delivered. Excellent deal, amazing bike and I would highly recommend this bike shop. They have their own delivery van so no courier involved, just need some decent weather now. Thanks for making my year!

I've now bought 2 motorcycles from them, a CB125F as my first bike and most recently, after passing my A2 with shires (and being given a nice discount by them too), a CB500F. Steven was the one who sold me my most recent bike, and was friendly and helpful all throughout my experience. I'll definitely be back in a few years when it's time for an upgrade! Absolutely 0 complaints from me.

Fantastic experience: A previous review with one star due to various reasons but due to fact I had used them for years I tried again. This time first class Salesman Phil, I have purchased many bikes off him went 110% to be helpful and friendly. A pity everyone doesn't take a leaf out of his book.Made my visit 10 out of 10 this time plus I was approached by someone else asking if I was being helped. I think a few strings have been pulled. A lot,lot better experience for a grumpy 70 year old biker ThAnK yOu :-)

Negative experience: i took my bike for an inspection service, and later in the day i was telephoned by David W. who reported to me that i had a faulty speaker on the bike, which required replacement at a cost of £200. declining the repair, as i didn't recall it not working so after collecting it i tested this and i found that the balance had been set all to one side. so speaking to David W. i told him the situation and a few words exchanged as i felt a little angry they were going to charge £200 for nothing. he denied my claims & proceeded to say he didn't like my attitude and hung up. In all honesty i feel the business there is usually a understanding and caring, but i would certainly suggest they take a look at such a rude and horrible little man.

Negative experience: Shame, all they want is your money. Time and again, they have a great range of bikes and gear. But never see to want to give you time and good selling experience. Once again, unhappy , I have now spent my money elsewhere and purchased a bike from another dealer. What a shame.

Positive experience: Vast choice of manufacturers and models to choose from. I made a distance purchase of a Honda motorcycle with a part exchange involved which all went to plan and the handover by the van driver who delivered the motorcycle was very thorough.

Fantastic experience: Purchased a CBR125R in repsol decals from these guys a few months ago and it was a really painless experience. Really friendly chaps who were with me from start to finish, hope to do business again with them in the future.

Negative experience: Bought a 2019 aprilia rsv4 got it it home. Found the engine bolts had had come loose started leaking water wing mirror nuts were missing and then had a flat spot and no power at the bottom end (got beat by my Mrs 2001 r6) and had the service light on even tho I was told it had been serviced. They did pick it up for repair and dropped it off which was good, but then it still had no power still hadn't been serviced wing mirror nuts still missing and engine bolts were loose still and then leaked water again, only the flat spot had been fixed, they picked it up again said they had fixed the water leak, it had then leaked again and had no power, bought the bike in June it's now November they offered to pick it up again and give me £2000 less than what I paid because I had done 1000 miles on it, yes I did 1000 miles but every time I rode it or got it out to ride it, it had a issue, trying to go through the finance company to get my money back

Fantastic experience: Fantastic deal, I purchased a Tech air 10 air suit that had nothing but problems, but Wheels and specifically Nic could not have been more helpful, in firstly sending back to Italy and then swapping for a tech air 5. Great communication all the way through and easily rectified in the end. Hopefully be i soon for a new bike once I can shift my old one.

Negative experience: Recently purchased a new Vespa. Initially they were very helpful but the bike has 2 little marks on it which I confirmed I’d be happy to accept as it is classed as shop soiled. However, when I arrived home I saw it has a pretty hefty scratch on the exhaust cover. As per usual procedure in most industries I emailed this immediately. I got a response requested images with an apology. I instantly sent these back. After a further 2 emails, 3 in total, I have been totally ignored. All told, I wouldn’t shop there again as customer service has been pretty poor.

Negative experience: Been quoted £1800+ for an annual service plan for my Honda VT750 2006 cruiser. What a joke considering genuine parts are £90, and that is without valve clearance in it. Mistake? I hope so! And that was by visiting store itself.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place for all your motorcycling needs. Staff are friendly, polite and welcoming, a big mention to Will who guided me nicely through my first bike purchase. Large showroom with amazing value bikes for all manner of rider. Reasonable clothing section and with the added bonus of a on site Cafe amd picnic bench area, it's a great meeting point for bikers to relax, grab a brew and admire some amazing machines in an amazing showroom.

Negative experience: Staff here are very posh, can't be bothered to ask for help or offer a good service price. they couldn't care less even if you spend £60k+ for bikes and services over the years if I'm honest.

Fantastic experience: I have got all 3 of my Motorbike from here, alway have a really good experience. Last time I was there was to drop my Honda Rebel off to get my Cruise control sorted which was all sorted and explained to me what was wrong, 5 stars. Cafe is a little expensive.

Negative experience: £360 to fit 2 tyres (that I supplied) and replace front sprocket “seal” & gear shaft oil “seal” (that I supplied) Been a customer for 7 years, brought 2 bikes, will be last time I step foot in wheels again. 2 hour 30 minutes to change 2 tyres and replace a seal, madness…

On my first visit I was approached by Josh who was able to help me choose the bike I needed .. he asked me all the relevant questions before making recommendations and by far I am happy with what was recommended and was able to purchase my first bike .. being a bike enthusiast I can say Josh’s product knowledge is out of this world ..I left knowing everything and he was able to answer all my questions and explain next steps … curtesy call was also made after the purchase to make sure I was all good .. great asset to Wheels … all staff well mannered and Always available to help would definitely recommend and repurchase

Negative experience: Shocking. Walked into an empty showroom and not one of the staff even acknowledged me. I don't expect the red carpet but a simple smile and good morning would go a long way. Definitely got a sense they think they're doing the customer a favour by being there.

Fantastic experience: Purchased a new sv 650,had the pleasure of meeting Josh (Suzuki sales) ,after my initial inquiry,he gave me a quote and wasn't at all pushy.On my request,he adjusted the figures to suit my personal situation and clearly explained the options of purchase available.I returned at the weekend and Josh kindly arranged a test ride bike, again clearly explaining the process.This test ride was a huge factor in my decision.I didn't feel hassled for a decision and once I'd decided,he kept me updated with emails and was happy to discuss anything over the phone.I will no doubt be in contact for my next bike.

Fantastic experience: It’s a good place for buying motorcycles and stuff

Negative experience: I called Wheels earlier in the week to arrange a test ride for today on one of their bikes, and was told just to turn up on Friday with my license. I was very disappointed when I arrived today to be told that I wasn’t able to test ride, because the bike hadn’t been through their workshop, and I’d have to book it in another day. I was then encouraged to put a deposit down on the bike to ensure I could test ride it in future? Safe to say I won’t be buying a bike from here in the future.

Fantastic experience: Took a ride across to wheels today and on the off chance I asked if they had a dark smoke visor for my Shoei X-Spirit , these visors seem to be out of stock everywhere. Well everywhere except Wheels, got my new visor and the service was spot on . First class
