He kept me calm during every lesson and actually made driving enjoyable, something I never thought I’d say! Thanks to him, I passed my test first time!

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend Gus Hilton driving school. I’ve suffered with extreme anxiety most of my life, and never thought I’d ever be able to drive. Gus is patient, kind and builds your confidence. He never made me feel incapable and never got frustrated with me. I have cried and panicked, never once did I feel judged. We had a great laugh almost every lesson, yet he stayed serious about making me a safe and responsible driver. He didn’t just stick to the known driving routes, we went all over- as he doesn’t want his students to just pass a test, he wants them to be able to drive anywhere and everywhere, with confidence and awareness. Fantastic experience: From my first lesson, I found Gus to be a kind but firm driving instructor. He is well prepared for his lessons and has some nice resources and handouts. He is someone that is patient and can also share a laugh with you. I can completely recommend him if you are seeking to learn how to drive an Automatic car in Canterbury. Thanks to him I passed on my first attempt today. Also, the car he uses is very modern and nice which makes the test much more easier thanks to the lane assist, reverse camera and speed limit indicators. All the best :)
