Fantastic experience: Chris has been a fantastic instructor from start to finish, he helped me get a pass first time in Darlington. I couldn't recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Chris enough, I went to him after failing my test with a previous instructor which really knocked my confidence. Chris helped me to improve my skills, confidence and to become a much calmer driver which resulted in me passing my test. Always positive friendly and encouraging, lessons were good fun, would recommend to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: Chris was amazing!! He was very patient with me and after just over 5 months, helped me pass my test first time!! He’s very flexible so if you need to change time slots to fit schedules he is more than happy. He is very friendly and made my lessons so enjoyable!!! My 92 year old mother (yes 92) had not driven in over a year and wanted to have a refresher to help build up her confidence again. Chris is an extremely patient and professional driving instructor, he helped me massively with my driving where I passed within 5 months of learning with just him. He’s very flexible with his hours of learning and does his best to try and ensure everyone is fitted in at the time that suits them the most.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Chris enough, for any level of driving ability. I had previously had some bad experiences with driving instructors and was quite a nervous driver. Chris was absolutely amazing and took the time with me to not only get down the technical driving skills but also give me confidence on the roads, something i didn’t think was possible for myself. He has no problem answering any questions and goes over more practical skills to prepare you for driving post-test. His knowledge of the roads, rules and everything you would ever need to know about driving is absolutely incredible and really puts you at ease behind the wheel. He takes the time to get to know all of his students, which is very important as for many drivers this can help put them at ease in the car. He knows you and your ability on a personal level and knows when to encourage you to tackle things on your own whilst providing help where necessary. He is able to remain calm even when you are not and instils a confidence that can be applied even after you have passed your test. Highly recommend Chris for all demographics of people learning to drive or wanting to improve or fine tune their driving skills. He is absolutely fabulous, proven by his reputation in and around Darlington.

Fantastic experience: Chris Baines is a really great driving instructor. I’ve had some bad experiences with driving instructors in the past so I was a bit nervous at the beginning, but Chris was very considerate and remained calm even when I wasn’t. He is clearly very knowledgeable about driving and the Darlington area (which was particularly helpful as it was all new to me), and was very good at explaining anything I was struggling to understand. I’d definitely recommend Chris Baines to anyone looking for a driving instructor!
