Fantastic experience: Hands down the best experience I could’ve hoped to have from driving lessons. I previously had driving lessons with a different company and I was left really disliking driving. After a couple of lessons with 1st Gear School I felt comfortable and by the end of lessons I loved driving again. I was able to pass first time, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support and encouragement from my amazing instructor, Jazz! Would whole heartedly recommend to any new or returning drivers!

Fantastic experience: I was a driver from the states with zero driving experience in the UK. Jazz helped me pass my test the FIRST time! She is a fantastic instructor; cool, calm and collected. Fantastic experience: First and foremost: I have passed my driving test on the first attempt, with 5 minor faults, and I have never thought it would be possible. But Jazz made it possible. I enjoyed taking lessons from her, as she always gave me a positive vibe. She is very professional and involved. During the lessons, she is fully there and always gives 150% to make sure she is covering everything with you before the test. She keeps things simple and always finds ways to make sure you understand. Even in the most frustrating moments, she remains calm and explains to you until you get it. I felt like I was crumbling before my driving test and everything seemed to go wrong, but I really felt supported by her. During the test, I felt so calm and composed, because I realized how prepared I actually was and that she taught me how to deal with any type of situation. She should give lessons to other instructors on how to be the perfect instructor. Forever grateful! Bless her! I miss her already!!

Fantastic experience: I passed my practical driving test yesterday first time round after learning to drive with Jazz (1st gear school of motoring). I say with confidence that Jazz is light years better than my previous instructor. Her way with me was so calming, instilling confidence in me from day 1. Jazz begins with the end in mind, constantly preparing you for the test every lesson, including regular trips to the test centre to calm any preconceived nerves about the place. She is so knowledgeable when it come to learning to drive, informing me of common errors during the test, and ways to remedy them. I work away from the area and I really appreciated how accommodating Jazz was fitting in my lessons around my work schedule. Above all else Jazz is a genuinely lovely person who takes the time with her learners, investing effort with a genuine interest in her learners to pass. There is no one I would recommend higher to teach driving, I’m so glad I made the right choice with learning to drive with Jazz.

Fantastic experience: I honestly couldn't have asked for a better instructor than Jazz, she was so patient and made me feel comfortable in every lesson from the first to the last. Every aspect of driving was explained in such detail that was easy to understand and take on board, every lesson was made enjoyable and no lesson ever felt boring or repetitive. Most of the lessons actually felt as if I was driving with my friend rather than an instructor. I can't speak highly enough of jazz and would highly reccomend everyone to get in contact and pick her as your instructor.
