Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Tom enough, I passed with him recently on my first driving test with only 1 minor. He made our lessons fun and structured them to support me on the things I needed help with.

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Tom enough. I passed first time with only 5 minors, which I never ever thought I’d be capable of. Tom makes your lessons fun, whilst also teaching you everything at your own pace. I had a few lessons back before Covid but had to stop due to restrictions, it took me a while to get back into learning and luckily found Tom. I had to learn everything from scratch again but the patience and the time I got from him got me to where I needed to be in only 5 months!! He prioritises everything and tailors your lessons to you and your capabilities, I left every lesson with a big smile on my face, I would leave him 100 stars if I could. Easily the best instructor in the area, I have recommended him to anyone that needs an instructor :) Thank you again for everything Tom! ☺️

Fantastic experience: The Viking School of Motoring is run by a very professional, helpful and accommodating individual. I contacted Tom about me having to urgently take a driving test as part of converting my foreign license to a UK license within a year of relocating. After gaining some background information, he offered me a spot immediately to assess my driving skills and see how we could proceed further. Tom has a firm grasp on what the examiners are looking for and he reinforces this as he prepares you for your test. If he is not personally convinced that you are ready for your test, he will not let you take the test. Because of his many years as an instructor and knowing the area (Oxford) very well, he talks you through what you should keep in mind on the various routes that you could be taken on to assess your ability to drive. He doesn’t lose his temper or gets upset if/when you make a mistake or take a wrong turn, he just turns it into a joke during another session, which further helps you to relax and get comfortable behind the steering wheel. He’s easy to talk to, very friendly and relatable, and he listens to what your fears are about your driving, and helps you work through them with practice and encouragement. It would not have been possible for me to successfully passed my driving test with 0 faults and the examiner, stating, "really exceptional drive", without Tom and his high level of preparation and strong desire for you to do your best. If you choose The Viking Motoring School, you will have no regrets and I can confidently say he will get you through your driving prep and test. Hands down the best driving instructor I could have chosen. Thanks again Tom for preparing me and making sure that I was more than ready for my driving exam!!!!! Fantastic experience: Tom is a brilliant instructor, kind and understanding and knows how to crack a joke and certainly knows what he is talking about and what he is doing. Just passed first time my self and I couldn't of done it without him. Certainly recommend him if you want to pass first time

Fantastic experience: Tom is a great and patient instructor! Can’t thank him enough for helping me pass first time before going back to uni. He really works hard and has a great method of teaching as I was a nervous driver to begin with, but he helped build my confidence by being calm and easy to get along with. Again can’t thank him enough for helping me pass, will definitely miss our lessons together!

Fantastic experience: I took my driving lessons with Tom for just under a year and I’ve never been more grateful. He was such a chill guy they never raised his voice or got angry when mistakes were made. Some of my favourite moments are from when we were just talking while stuck in traffic. Fantastic experience: Tom is an amazing instructor, he is very laid back and confident in his students, Tom is very easy to get along with and have a laugh - Despite going through a lot in my personal life Tom made driving incredibly fun and was very understanding and supportive of things both driving and not driving related. When I failed my first test he found another test less than a month later despite the covid back track! I will recommend Tom to anyone wanting to drive - Thank you very much Tom!x

Fantastic experience: Passed 2nd time after a 30 hour intensive course and some extra lessons with Tom. Great instructor, always up for a laugh and will help you improve on anything you aren't particularly confident with. Really helped me improve on manoeuvres and mirrors throughout both weeks I had with him and he even let me loose on the motorway once! Would highly recommend Tom to anyone looking for an instructor.
