Negative experience: Began learning at the start of February with the Barry instructor Mark. All was fine when we were in the vehicle however constantly late / ending lessons about 5 - 10 minutes early. I did also ask to pick up two lessons per week which he originally agreed to but after a week stopped - this lead to me having to reschedule my test from July to September as I was not getting the lessons I needed to pass. Multiple cancellations over the course of the year, never being told until about an hour before the lesson was to be scheduled. Also had to start booking my lessons right at the end of the day as he wasn’t putting enough time between lessons causing him to terminate lessons early so he could get to the next student. Final straw was him cancelling my lesson last Wednesday and ignoring my texts asking to be booked in until Monday where he said I’d have to wait another week. Two weeks worth of lessons were missed due to bad planning / ignoring my messages. 1/5 stars - do not recommend. Unreliable and has ultimately caused me to have to wait longer to start driving due to poor planning and scheduling from the instructor. Edit: Added proof following response from owner - constant messing about would not recommend for someone who wants to pass in timely manner.

Fantastic experience: Referred me to Chris, an independent automatic driving instructor. Chris is a fantastic teacher and lovely man. Helped me to learn properly and pass despite bad anxiety. Reasonable rates, would 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: After learning on and off for a number of years and having had bad experiences with some previous instructors, Gaz really helped me gain confidence driving very quickly. He was calm and patient throughout, had great communication and very easygoing and great to chat to. I passed my test first time with only 2 minors thanks to Gaz and can't recommend him highly enough!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I got in the car with Keith, I knew I was in good hands. At 38 years old, I was under pressure to get my driving sorted, and after signing up with a number of disappointing and confidence-shaking instructors, I was sure I'd never pass before my 40th Birthday (if ever). After 45 minutes in the car with Keith, I was informed that my driving was more than adequate and that I should pass reasonably quickly. What a revelation. Low and behold, a few block lessons later (and an hour or so of extra guidance/coaching - such is Keith's dedication), I passed my practical test 1st time with only 4 minors. Keith was there every step of the way and - even though I was the one behind the wheel on the day of the test - he guided me to success, with his calm approach and expert knowledge. I owe my new lease of life to this gentleman, and cannot thank him enough for his teachings. My self-confidence has soared and I have every faith in my driving ability - which is half the battle, right? So much so, that I sorted my car insurance the very next day and have been driving without issue ever since. Kudos to you, Keith, and thanks for your patience and understanding. You're a legend.

Fantastic experience: just pasted my test with Ian. Ian was an excellent driving instructor who had a lot of patience and I really enjoyed my lessons with him. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a reputable company to do my driving lessons with, I have chosen this company. Ian is a very patient and professional driving instructor and I would highly recommend. I've passed my driving test today, first try and I've been learning with Ian for around 3-4 months. He explains things properly and is very clear. My first few lessons were terrible, I even stalled on a roundabout but Ian taught me and we rectified my mistakes. Passed today with 3 minor faults. Thank you Ian :)

Fantastic experience: Keith was a great help in getting me set up with an instructor. Gaz was an amazing instructor for my refresher lessons. He was always calm and friendly and really helped me get my confidence back up. Gaz made parking so easy with his use of reference points and he was interesting to chat to. Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic experience, driving with Keith from Bumps. Hes so down to Earth and funny! He explains everything clearly, doesn't shout and makes you feel at ease and in safe hands. He recommended how many lessons I'd need based on experience and it was spot on. I booked a block with Bumps and passed first time! My brother also did the same. Keith quickly helped me perfect the maneuvers I was nervous of to focus on the driving. I highly highly recommend and thank Bumps Drivin's Cool!

Negative experience: I phoned this company and was enquiring for my wife and the attitude this fella gave me was absolutely disgusting bare in mind I was phoning and bringing him business good business I own a business myself and would never treat a potential customer like the way I got treated, anybody reading this I would advise you phone somebody else as I've done

Fantastic experience: Keith took me through a few hours of refresher lessons after not driving for 5 years. He picked up on everything I’d forgotten and helped me gain so much confidence. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I’m taking down my review as I don’t think it’s fair that your business should suffer due to someone else’s poor performance.. In reply to my 2 other daughters , one took 3 attempts and the other 5 attempts.......... Not great !
