Negative experience: Worst driving school ever!!!! I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone . The instructor I had was always late, nodding off in middle of the lessons , uses his phone. the management is even worse when I complained about him they didn’t even care which is really unprofessional.

Negative experience: Really poorly run school, had to hound them to even get in contact with my driving instructor. Didn't want to discuss what my experience was or what I was looking to learn from the lessons. It's really false advertising to describe these as "intensive driving courses" when in reality you are just booking weekly lessons. The instructor was ok but I eventually asked for a refund as he kept cancelling lessons. Despite paying over £500 for 12 hours I had 5 lessons cancelled which isn't acceptable. Overall I would advise looking elsewhere if you want to pass your test. EDIT: also received a thoroughly unprofessional and factually incorrect email from the school following this review, once again would absolutely look elsewhere for driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Intensive Driving Courses, I had lessons with this Instructor for two months and was able to pass my test on the first attempt. I found him to be patient and understanding, I was a total beginner and he explained everything fully and didnt make me feel bad for making mistakes. He is also very flexible with pick ups and drop offs and is great value for money. I would definitely recommend James to anyone looking to learn to drive

Finally had some belief in my-self to pick up where I left off and I finally got it done – and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor – lots of knowledge, understanding, very patient, so helpful

Fantastic experience: Ive had a flawless experience with Intensive Driving Cardiff! My instructor Gaz was easy to get on with and straight to the point. Within 18hrs he had me ready to book a test and feeling very confident on the roads. He was good at curbing my bad habits and corrected my mistakes while holding a friendly attitude! I’m extremely happy with the quality and value of the intensive course. I am currently waiting for a test slot due to covid backlog. Gaz has kept good communication 10x better than previous driving instructors. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Negative experience: unfortunately I cannot recommend this driving school at all. After paying a substantial sum for an 'intensive course' it was far from what I was expecting from the get go, only being given one or two lessons a week and with hardly any availability from the school to work with. if they had been honest from the start and explained that due to lockdown they couldn't provide and intensive course i might have chosen a different school. I felt could not complain once I had paid as their reasoning was that it was unprecedented times, which i can sympathise with, but perhaps new students shouldn't be taken on if they cannot provide appropriate advertised services. I wont name my instructor and i would not want to slander, but my first lessons consisted of being driven to the outskirts of Cardiff taking a whole hour out of my driving time! I already had 10 hours behind me but the instructor didn't seem to care and stared me form the very basics. when we eventually moved from that area my lessons consisted of being taken on a 20 minute drive by my instructor to near the test centre where I would then be repeatedly taken over the test routes, which I don't believe is teaching me how to drive but just how to pass my test. I was consistently pulled over to tell me every little minor thing I had done wrong after about 2 minutes of driving, which again was taking away from my driving time and also diminishing my confidence. upon complaining about my services I was told to find another instructor. and again coronavirus was blamed for my poor service. all in all probably had 10 hours of my own time wasted being driven around by my instructor because @i wasnt capable of driving myself'. all instructors I know of take you round your local area. I am now with lals driving school and drove more in my first lesson with him, than I my 25 hours course with intensive driving school. in just a few lessons I am so much more closer to my goal than I ever would have been with his school and instructor. my advice would be to strongly avoid as this school and their instructors. from what i can tell they are heavily backed up with students due tp the pandemic, but yet still seem to be taking on more so that they can keep the money rolling in. I have tried to be respectful during my lessons and trust the process which is why I didn't complain before but I feel my trust was taken advantage of and this school really don't care how long it actually takes for you to pass as long as they get paid.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely give a 5 star rating for all the services, especially my Instructor Malcolm he is an expert in navigation, all the difficult bits, provided service in a timely manner. Fantastic experience: Fantastic service! I started driving with instructor Gaz in December, he’s an awesome teacher, really attentive, friendly and has a great attitude! Always got the most out of every lesson and I felt like my bad habits were curbed quickly with his professionalism & teaching methods, unfortunately due to the Xmas lockdown had to wait a little longer even though I was test ready by mid/late December, with Gaz’s help finding a cancellation service and just a few refresher lessons I just had my test May 6th passed first time with 1 minor! I really can’t recommend Gaz enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Did a 25 hour intensive course with Gaz - one of their instructors. Fantastic lessons, incredibly detailed, very well organised and will always adjust the lessons to your queries and what you feel may need improving. Gaz is well organised, and currently with the COVID pandemic has been effective in ensuring the best possible lessons - updating me on current situations. Managed to pass my test first time. Definitely worth investing in.

Fantastic experience: I have been driving for 13 years in my home country but after i met Gaz, he totally changed the way i drive (especially because it's more strict in the UK). He made me a safer driver, more alert, and more careful of other road users. He thought me all the maneuver and the routes i need to be familiar with. I passed my driving test on the first attempt. Fantastic experience: Had to switch from my previous driving instructor to this driving school. I have been taking lessons and failing my driving test with the previous instructor who paid little attention to my mistakes, was very rude and shouting at me all the time and demanding for payment even though I always make payments in time. I decided to switch to this one as I havent been seeing any improvements and I lacked confidence in driving, I almost lost interest but I didn't. When I phoned them I was introduced to Gaz as my new driving instructor. Gaz is an excellent driving instructor and very professional. He is very patient as well, he pays attention to mistakes and corrects and answers all your concerns at the end of each lessons. Gaz instilled the confidence I lost previously. And within 1-2weeks I already saw alot of improvements. Most importantly he motivated me alot in every step of the way. After a couple of lessons with Gaz I am pleased to say I finally passed my driving test two days ago and it was my 4th one. Gaz made sure i never lost confidence or gave up. Thank you very much Gaz much appreciated.

First time I sat in a car with Gaz was the first time I had ever been behind the wheel. 30 days later, I walked away with a driving licence. Definitely recommend this guy!

Fantastic experience: Did a Pass Plus Driving Course with this firm and Motorway driving was my biggest fear. This was not classroom based, like some Companies do but practical, which is what I needed. Also got a large Insurance discount from the driving school.
